• Harriet (4/5): Interesting - We booked en route to Hamilton so having the remote check in was helpful. A poor level of housekeeping and room appointments. Two out of three bedside lamps didn’t work The heater remote would require a step ladder for anyone under 5’7! The largish bathroom contained the tiniest washbasin known to man resulting in there being zero chance of putting toiletries down. The one, rusted towel rail went across the mirror. There was one solitary hook in the whole bathroom, evidence of plastic ones having snapped off. The main entry door had two handles which did not function as a pair. As a result, the only way to close the door was to fully slam it! Notices around the room did not make for a congenial stay!

Never saw any staff there. - Location was convenient Not the required amount of cutlery and not enough plates The bathroom was pretty ordinary with the finish like tiling and painting left a lot to be desired and the shower floor was slippery. The parking spot has a huge pothole in it at room 5 which I almost broke my ankle in. There was a broken TV sitting on the ground at the front door on our arrival, not sure why it would be left there if it is not working.

• Marko (4/5): - It appears the place is being renovated so cannot be too judgemental, however..if you are upgrading rooms at least finish them before hiring them out. Ceiling fan above bed had half inch of dust on it, glad we didn't turn it on. Bathroom shower cubicle designed so that water outside shower has no floor drain and pools up against shower. Bathroom door has no lock and doesn't close all the way because it hits the light switch. Made bit uncomfortable going to toilet with a 5mm gap. Apart from that, price and location are great. Hope the upgrades make it a more comfortable stay.
• Paula (1/5): My parents worst experience in their 80 years of life - Nothing Cockroaches, filthy floor, dirty underwear from previous guests, dust hanging off ceiling fan, pedestal fan with no front cover and string tied on it so it wouldn’t rotate, couldn’t close bathroom door and shower door at same time - had to choose which one to have open as not installed correctly, 4 of us stayed but crockery and cutlery for 3 only, managers don’t speak English and don’t understand - poor communication.

Floors were filthy, Feet would be black as soon as you got out the shower and walked to the bed. Door handle kept coming off when opening the door. TV Remote was broken. Mould on the bathroom window.

There was no shelves, towel rails, ledges or hooks in bathroom. the shower curtain had mildew and no soap in the dispenser. the front door was hodge-podge loose. The ceiling fan edges were melted like a Salvador Dali painting (not in a good way) Staff? what staff? We don't mind self check-in but they were not interested in listening (over the phone) to the issue we had with the blind that came down but didn't go up = no light next morning. It's near the lake but no view - but that's ok. Luckily we found this restaurant to help us through the disappointment. two star establishment at most Highly recommend Izzy's restaurant in Hamilton Victoria everything - because of the above we weren't interested in using the kettle or toaster
• LEONIE (5/5): Convenient location near the hospital,the room and facilities could use some maintenance and care. - The location was very convenient — within easy walking distance to the hospital. Parking was sometimes difficult, and there were occasional disturbances from other guests, which affected the overall quietness of the stay. The room and facilities could use some maintenance, There was some mould on the windows and curtains that really needs attention. Hopefully, these areas can be improved, as the place has good potential.

• Alexis (3/5): Disappointing and would not stay again. - Location is close to the centre of Hamilton and not much noise from traffic. Door code pad was hard to get to work, very temperamental and staff person struggled with it. Fridge was not turned on and had open spoiled milk in it from previous guest. Didn’t realise the fridge wasn’t on until the next day and food spoiled overnight. The bed was hard and I woke with a sore back. The shower slippery and had to almost unscrew the hot tap to get water out of the shower. Noisy neighbours.

• Caroline (6/5): A comfortable and conveniently located stay, let down by some disappointing cleanliness issues. - The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and the Parkrun on Saturday morning. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet at night. The shower was clean with good hot water, and the complimentary toiletries were a nice bonus. Unfortunately, the spare bed in the room had visible stains on the quilt cover and appeared to have been used but not remade. The curtains also had mould on them, and the bathroom window ledge was quite dirty and dusty. While there were some positives, these cleanliness issues were disappointing.

It seems the tile installation in the bathroom may have not yet been finished, as there's a large gap under the windowsill - but that really can't be considered a problem.

I informed the staff who is only available on phone not personal he said nothing he can do and will let owner know and he will call me. I didn't receive any call or apologies for management. This is worst service I have ever seen. Not booking this next time
