- M J (4/5): An Okay Hotel - Room was clean, beds comfortable and aircon excellent But unable to get Wi-Fi in room and nowhere comfortable to sit except on the bed. Pool lovely but no sun loungers. Room was not serviced during our 4 night stay but clean towels were provided on request. Maintenance also came quickly when a curtain pole came down and they also provided a mop at my request because I was frightened of slipping in the wet room. I did not realise when booking that there would not be a separate shower. There are self service washing machines at the resort next door. There is also a launderette opposite the OYO hotel. Cannot report on the restaurant as restaurant was closed when we went for breakfast so had to eat elsewhere.

- siti aishah (8/5): - family deluxe is ok spacious. room is clean upon arrival. but i notice no housekeeping during stay so u got to let them know if u need rubbish bin to be emptied. water heater is not working. we didnt ask to get it fix coz we dont want to change room. upon arrival we were welcomed by huge millipede in the toilet. but is ok just took it out. we call before to check whether there is mini fridge & was told only in few room it is working so we ask for the room with mini fridge. big let down is the mattress the kind that so saggy when u lie in it. very not good for my back pain. but ok la can tolerate the whole 3 nites. location is good near water activities, food stalls. pool is ok when not crowded. hotel offers food in case u dont want to walk to find out. monkeys are around and hornbills too. pleasant stay. will consider in future

- NLF (2/5): - This place should not even be on Expedia. It is completely misrepresented. The pool is filled with algae and looks toxic. The bungalows are small, smelly and packed one next to each other and the patios all face other equally crowded rooms. Sort of a suffocating ambience. The common areas were poorly maintained. Absolutely. no pride of ownership. We cancelled upon arriving and discovering how misleading the profile page was. The management refused to refund remaining days and Expedia was unable to get in touch with anyone at the hotel--which gives you an idea of its level of responsibility. The refrigerator in our room smelled and was dirty. The bathroom was full of soap spots, suggestive of a lack of cleaning. Beds were mushy. You get the idea--a place to AVOID!

- Mohd Yusoff (10/5): Nice place to stay - This has been our annual gateway retreat for the past 3 years. Very near to the Teluk Nipah beach. Lovely albeit small pool. Can improve further in term of facilities as some are a little bit worn out. Good service at the counter and you can rent scooters and cars at reasonable prices.
- Mohd Yusoff (10/5): Fantastic location and nice pools - We have stayed here three times and the best thing about the place is the location and the pools. Our children simply love the pool especially when staying at the villa just next to the pool. The room was not that big and the TV and channels were so so. The resort is not in front of the beach but only five minutes walk to Teluk Nipah beach band thus much quieter. You can also rent scooters and cars from the resort and there is a laundromat near it. Food should not be a problem as you can get it from the resort itself and from the various stalls and restaurants nearby. Will be back to this place in 2019.

- Beatrice (8/5): Fun-tastic getaway - Everything was good from the time we arrived until check-out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was also good. Stalls and beach was just a short walk away. The pool was also clean and great for kids and adults. Room for improvement is actually the TV channels. No english movie channel.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean, nice pool, service below average - Main thing is the very nice pool and clean room. Fast wifi. Otherwise considering the price we payed it was not over exciting. The fuse of the water heater dropped out frequently. Water cooker was working but very slow. AC was noisy. Water was leaking from toilet flush. Bed cover always went off the mattress. You get a better service in every backpacker hostel I think. Not an unfriendly welcome at checkin but a cool acceptance. Extra charges for an additional pillow. No help at all to get a taxi when we checked out.
- cik (8/5): nice hotel - its a nice hotel. i check in here almost 6 year back and came back here last sunday. and a lot of improvement. the view, the swimming pool. previously i got old unit and sorry to say i cant with the toilet, but this time they give me new unit and i am happy with the room and toilet.

- jelmer (8/5): - Nice resort, we booked a 3p. Room for2 nights. Pangkor is a nice little island with beautiful roads to dive on with the scooter. The resort was qua price quality good enough for use (backbacking)

- mr.relax (6/5): place just to sleep - if you want comfort stay, not this hotel, this hotel just for you to sleep, you better spend more time outdoor activities rather than spending time in this hotel. location is nice, near to nipah beach and lot of watersports activity to do. overall is just ok. fortunately this hotel got outdoor pool.

Is this the right way to entertain the customer who is using your booking online system?. Luckily the staff of the chalet is very good and polite to handle it. I hope this will not happen next time.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Disppointed - This is 4th times i came back to Pangkor for holiday. Based from last experience i'm satisfied with resort i'd stayed previously. I'm Exec Housekeeper at 6star hotel and i understand and don't mind to minor defect/problem in the room/resort as long as NOT BASIC issued. But i'm this time i'm disppointed to stay with Purnama Resort 1)Air conditioner super duper noisy & not cold at all once step into the room. I'd complaint and one tech came just to inform me that AC can't repair due to difficulty to get the spare part and he left without do anything. 1 whole night i can't sleep..They only manage to repair after i make 2nd complaint and requested to change room next morning. 2) I lost my room key while doing sea activities..( found keypad ring was broken and seal with tape) 3) Slow and not alert toward guest problem and need. Has to inform over and over..( Will understand IF they run the 300 or over room)

- Rozyyati (6/5): Nice hotel, swimming pool kids friendly. - Staffs very friendly, hotel condition ok. The bed are comfort. Suggestion: since the hotel is near the beach, I strongly suggest that the housekeeping should be done daily. Swimming pool is nice, but need to clean every morning especially during weekends where it were used by lot of people. Other are all ok. Will choose this hotel again when come to Pangkor.

- けい (6/5): - ビーチには徒歩5分くらい。 敷地は広くて良い。 隣のロッジのクーラーのドレンの 垂れる音が気になる。 近くに食べるとこも何軒かあるので、ホテルで食べなくてもすむのがいい。 敷地内にサイチョウがやってくるのも良い。
- Carl (2/5): Dårligste oplevelse nogensinde. - Vi rejser utrolig meget, men værelset på dette hotel var klart det ringeste, som vi har oplevet. Danske indsatte bor bedre! Langt under niveau - der var direkte ulækkert på værelset. Beskidt seng og sengetøj. Støvet og beskidt på gulvet. Badeværelset var klamt med fremmed hår og beskidt toilet. Væggene i værelset var skjoldede og plettet af blod fra "smækkede" myg og insekter. Der var håndværkere om dagen til stor gene. Ved siden af værelset var en vandpumpe, som larmede 24/7. Hotellet havde flere niveauer, hvor ovenstående var den lave kategori. Alligevel hang pris og oplevelse overhovedet ikke sammen.
