- Louise (10/5): Lovely base to explore - Just returned from a family trip staying at The Bungalows. The location worked really well for us a 5 min walk over the bridge to Johns Pass and across the main rd to the beach. The room had 2 bedrooms and plenty of space, the little patio area was very cute. We had unit 7 which was next to the busy main rd but we weren’t disturbed by road noise. The pool area is really nice and the pool was so warm. Some parts of the room are a little tired but it was clean and very comfortable. We explored the area and it made a good base. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The walk to Johns Pass is over a drawbridge so hilly up and down if that’s an issue for you. The beach over the rd is lovely and wide but no beach vendors so you’ll need your own chairs and shade.

- Joseph (10/5): Great service - I was staying while taking care of an elderly relative and Tropical Storm Debby came calling! The manager Judy checked on me frequently and even offered to go to the store if I needed anything. The electricity flickered a few times but stayed on.

We were concerned the road noise would be bad due to the proximity to the main road, but it was very quiet. When traveling with the whole family having living and sleeping areas is a must! We will definitely story be returning!
- Terra (6/5): Spend your hard earned money elsewhere - Pros: quick 4 minute walk to beach. Adorable little spot. Good pool with loungers. Comfy bedding/blankets. Quiet area. Cons: no beach gear. Limited towels. Busy 4 lane street to cross for beach. Pool was small. Saw two cockroaches in our room. Bathroom tiny; nowhere to get ready. Bed was super uncomfortable; like sleeping on springs. Pull out couch awful! Floor made all of our feet/socks black. Very small place for what I paid (almost $1500 for 5 nights) Would not return.

- Jenny (8/5): - I loved my time at the bungalows!!! But be aware that toiletries are very limited, there is no room service and when you call to request clean towels needs to wait for the next day. Bed was super low and uncomfortable, excellent air conditioning. Property is very close to the beach and about 10-15 min walking to John’s pass.

- Heather (6/5): - The overall stay was good. We ran into issues with the AC. It was broken. It did get fixed after 3 nights. However, the unit couldn’t keep up. It got up to 77 w/ new unit. A night was comped so that was nice. The company did try. The ac filter was filthy and that may have been another factor in why the ac wasn’t cooling well. Not sure. Also, pet friendly but no grass for the dogs to use. That was problematic. The fees were confusing. One email said $125 per stay. It sounded like 1 fee for 2 dogs. Then another email said 100 per dog. Any unregistered would be $250. We were charged the cost of an unregistered pet.

Very close to many restaurants and shops and just a quick 12 minute walk to the boardwalk!

- Sheri (10/5): - The Bungalows are a gem! Place was perfect for our family of 4 which included 2 - 20 year olds! Staff was super friendly, we felt very safe and the beach was right across the street. The heated pool was a bonus! John's Pass is in walking distance. Perfect location! Highly recommend!
- Christina (10/5): - Very friendly manager! You get an email with check in door code since there is no office. I hadn’t received that yet but the manager was very accommodating! It’s conveniently located right across the road from a beautiful beach, with a few good restaurants within walking distance. Very clean and stocked room with kitchenette and comfortable sleeping. Would stay here again!
- Eliot (10/5): The Bungalows are a hidden gem! - The Bungalows is a perfect place to land for a quick getaway weekend, near the beach, without breaking the bank. Our room had been recently redone and was in great shape, filled with tasteful accommodations and decorations. Super easy check in and out. Walking distance from many things.

The beach was so close we could walk. It was great being so close to the hot spots yet not in the thick of it. We met Robin upon arrival and she made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Highly recommend this place

Floor needs a thorough scrubbing…not a once over with a wet mop…scrub it. Otherwise the unit was very comfortable and well equipped. Recommend you add a bedside alarm clock.

- Julie (10/5): Absolutely Amazing!! - Our stay was perfect!! Our 2 bedroom was clean, beautiful, and smelled lovely. We were provided with all and much more than we imagined. The bed pillows and linens were incredibly comfortable. The area was quiet and safe. All communication went smoothly, and Robin was very friendly in assisting us. Walking distance to beach accesses and John's Pass. We will choose The Bungalows again. <3 <3 <3

They really should get appropriate blackout blinds or curtains. There was no vanity space to even place a toothbrush near the sink.

- Kristian (2/5): - I was not able to stay at property. Expedia stated the property was dog friendly and as some of the condos are dog friendly. But the condo i choose to stay in was not and my nights were non refundable. They refused to give me my money back stating they couldn't get in touch with property. I talked to property and he added to give me a refund. But it still has no happened . Expedia customer service is terrible and i WILL never use there website again. It was falsely advertised and nothing was done to rectify the situation. I disputed with my bank and nothing yet. Yes i have receipts of conversations. Terrible customer service don't recommend
- Linda (10/5): Ist Timers - Generally pleased. Location, parking, and layout great. Very clean too. Mattress in our unit needs replacing as way too soft. It would be nice if the TV was on a swivel mount so easier to view from sofa. Also a luggage stand in the closet would be nice to put suitcase on.

The pool was heated and very clean and well kept. It was literally a few steps and right outside the room. Cute patio area. Only thing I did not like was a towel that was stained and just gross, but other then that it was perfect and would most definitely stay here again. Very quiet area but walkable to restaurants and attractions. The beach was across the street. No issues checking in. Thank you for a enjoyable stay, out first time on the Gulf side of FL.

The beds were nice and comfortable. The only problem I would mention is there were no clothes hangers and it needed a bit more cutlery as it was self catering. Having said that, I would definitely recommend The Bungalows and would stay there again.

Outside being loud at 11:45 at night... They leave all their towels and pool stuff outside all over the lounge chairs.... STOP renting these to people for weeks that just take over and unfortunately are a bit trashy. If u are the type that love to meet people and hope to meet people by the pool then give it a shot. My wife and I wanted time together.... Not being forced into talking w everyone and their kids at the pool... Constantly! They were there all day every day! Sucked.

- Mary (8/5): - This is a small but charming motel in the perfect location. If you need an.ocean view this isnt the place but ive been here twice for the quaint charm and quiet atmosphere. Stayed in #4 and it was perfect for a girlfriend getaway. Had 2 very private bedrooms and full kitchen. Easy place to keep your car parked and walk across to beach or Johns pass. Beach here is not as wide as in st pete but still plenty of room to spread out. Went April 10-15 and had beautiful weather...ocean a little chilly but swimmable for sure.

The room was spacious and clean and appeared to have been updated. Only issue was, whoever handles reservations is non- responsiveness. With no front desk, which was not an issue, Texted and emailed about possible early check-in and late checkout and never received a response.
- Angela (8/5): - Close to beach, restaurants, Johns Pass. Other guests were lovely. Cleaning staff wonderful. Towels for beach and pool provided. Minimal kitchen supplies but sufficient for 2 people. Cozy for 2. We were in unit 9 and i was initially concerned because people parked where we were sleeping and could look in our room. I was concerned it would be noisey but it wasn't at all. Blinds above bed didnt cover the window so we had to cover it with a blanket to ensure privacy. Floors weren't clean when we arrived and there was no dust pan but I managed until they brought me one. I used their towels to wipe the floor and everything was black after cleaning. The light and fan in our room could not be turned on independently so we couldnt use the fan without the light. Not much hot water regardless of when we showered. Hard to get in touch with people for fresh towels and linens, we were there a week. I would stay there again. Most of my complaints are small reaĺly. It is definitely a 3 star.

- Robert (6/5): The ice box - The property was nicely appointed. However while there , the nite time temperatures dropped into the 40’s and the unit had a non existent heating source. So our unit fell to 60 on the inside . We both came away with head colds
