Guest Reviews
- Michael and Mary (10/5): Lovely accommodations and not too far away - Everything was super clean, and our room was very comfortable and quiet. As advertised, only about a 10-minute drive from the city center, so it was very convenient too. The continental breakfast was fine and also as advertised, but our own preference is for a more formal breakfast where you can meet and interact with the other guests. Overall, we were very pleased with the accommodations and with our hostess, Barb.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious.
- Iain (10/5): - The property was close to wineries and an easy uber ride to Old Town. Excellent hosts. We wold highly recommend this place
- Carol (10/5): - The owners of this property were really friendly . They provided very nice customer service.
Everything was beautiful and neat!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was awesome, the proximity to pondview winery and caroline cellars was absolutely perfect and the breakfast was incredible and a perfect way to start the day
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very pleasant stay. Host was excellent. Breakfast was delicious.
- SurreyRams (10/5): - Our first time in a BnB couldn't have been a better experience. Our warm and friendly hostess Barb and her witty husband Denis made our stay seem like a visit back home. Great location for wine tours in the Niagara region and just a short drive from the historic old town of Niagara-on-the-lake. Rooms are lovely and the breafast is first class, differing each morning. The covered veranda has many comfortable seating options and even ashtrays for those so inclined. Hugs and best wishes from the hosts upon checkout made it seem like we just finished a stay with close relatives or best friends. We hope to return some day.
- John (10/5): - Very nice home to visit , very well maintained and lovely place to meet new friends . We will tell all our friends, family what a great place to be ,so close to everything we wanted to do .
- Blaine (10/5): Wonderful Stay - Fabulous breakfast and friendly service!
- Evelyn (10/5): Great Stay in a Lovely Setting - Lovely bed and breakfast very close to Niagara on the Lake. Breakfast was excellent.
- Donna (8/5): Pretty place - Very nice place Bedroom was small with no place to put suitcase Breakfast was delicious Hosts very friendly Convenient to several wineries One thing they couldnt provide was ice! We were going to make a cocktail with liquor we purchased and adked to get some ice Owner said they had a small icemaker that made very little ice Thought that was odd
- Derin (10/5): - Very quaint and cosy. Very Friendly and helpful hosts
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The whole house was decorated beautifully. Outdoor seating on the veranda was exceptional. Breakfast was very well presented and delicious!
- Svetlana (10/5): Great getaway! - We had an amazing stay at A Vineyard View B&B. The hosts were very nice and accommodations were really comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and different each morning. They also gave us some coupons for nearby wineries and dinner suggestions. Overall we had a great relaxing long weekend in Niagara-on-the-lake and will definitely be back :)
- Michael (10/5): Go there now ! - We went for our (semi) annual trip to NOTL and chose AVV for the price and location. It sits amidst the vineyards. A quiet location in the center of the NOTL area - minutes from ALL the wineries and the town proper. Denis and Barbara are friendly and engaging. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts are more than generous and delicious. We highly recommend this inn.
- Maarten (10/5): - Very convenient to many wineries in the area, very helpful owner with lots of tips, discount coupons and other information about attractions, etc. Great breakfast.
- Dave (10/5): - A must stay for your trip to niagara. After seeing all the 5 star reviews I thought that it was going to be good, but it honestly exceeded my expectations.
The couple running the place were super friendly, the breakfast was wonderful, and you literally are overlooking the vineyards (we were in the champagne room).
Ask to see the doggies!
- Robert (10/5): - nice B&B just far enough from NOTL for peace and quiet but close enough to get to the activity when you feel like it.Nice relaxing porch overlooking open spaces
- Addy (10/5): - Lovely place, very comfortable rooms!!
Highly recommend :)
- Philip (8/5): Good stay - Nice accomodations, good breakfast, fair location for Niagara on the Lake.
- Stevr (10/5): - Very welcoming, nice feel about the place. Could not have been better
- Debbie (6/5): Nice room, for a good price. - The couple running the b&b were very nice, the breakfast was excellent. The room was very nice. The only real complaint is that the room was a little warm, and it was nice and cool outside. when we tried to get some fresh air in we found the windows were screwed shut. So, now aside from being warm, we also had to worry about safety. I’m pretty sure those windows should be operational in case of a fire.
I would also suggest a scent free environment. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was a potpourri smell. The bedding was cleaned with scented products, that left me with a rash. That’s just my sensitivity, but I’m sure there are others that share this infliction.
- JOY (10/5): - Host are super nice, the view of the vineyard is lovely, all in all a very peaceful, lovely place to stay.
- Bob (10/5): - location was excellent and one of the best breakfast's I have had in all my worldly travels
- Ruth (8/5): - Being in the vineyard and close to Niagara on the Lake
- Marla (8/5): Wine lover - It was very clean.Loved that our room had its own bathroom with a shower. The outside of the house had a beautiful wrap around porch to sit at to enjoy a lovely glass of wine. The owners were very informative about the wineries and things to do in the area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely bed and breakfast - Hospitality was very nice, the room was cute, and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely come back here, I only stay the night on my way to Toronto to see a concert at Jackson Triggs winery. I would love to explore the area more. The hosts were very knowledgeable of the area So I wouldn’t trust them for great recommendations.
And you feel very warm and cozy coming into the house with the beautifully decorated front porch!
My only complaint was the bed was a little too firm and not as comfortable as I would hope, This could easily be fixed with the purchase of the a pillow top!
- Chris (10/5): - Quiet, clean, friendly owners and workers. Excellent breakfast. Well-decorated and cozy.
- Gloria (10/5): - Hosts very welcoming. Accommodations clean and comfortable. Wonderful relaxing front porch. Breakfast scrumptious. Would stay again.

- Flo & Lise (10/5): Super Stay and Super Breakfast - If your looking for a great comfortable room with excellent hosts then look no more. This well located B & B was situated wihin a few kilometers from great wineries and a short drive to Niagara on the Lake. Sitting on a vineyard thus the name adds piece and quiet which should result to a great night sleep. Breakfast was well prepared and presented.
