Guest Reviews
- Bobbiejo (4/5): -
- Weiss (5/5): - When I complained that the hairdryer had been stolen - the hand unit had been cut from the cord - the desk clerk got me another one. Threadbare bath towels the size of a normal hand towel. The refrigerator, when it was running, made a high-pitched whine. No kleenex. No 'dedicated' non-smoking rooms.
- Colleen (10/5): -
- patricia (5/5): - The bed was comfortable You could see light and wind coming through the door crack.
The tub didnt want to drain.
The hair dryer was broken.
The rooms needs be up dated but the price is fair
- Patricia (9/5): Comfortable and quiet - Really nice staff
- biguy (10/5): - Clean and affordable for a night when heat quit in house. I would highly recommend this place.
- Paul (9/5): -
- Dale (4/5): Couldn't sleep - They put me in a room, number 111, where a compressor started about every 20 minutes in the room next door, all day, all night.
- Pamela (6/5): -
- James (7/5): -
- Jennifer (6/5): - Room was ok, bed was not that comfortable. The furnishings except for the bed linens were very outdated. The carpet needs to be replaced, it smelled like dog or cat pee in my room and there was a rather large stain by the door. The front desk guy was very "meh"....didnt great me as i came in and wasnt very warm or welcoming. There were also guys hanging outside some of the rooms and smoking or hanging out so I didnt feel overly safe. Definitely has some longer-term guests staying there and it has a "no-tell motel" vibe to it. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". Probably will not stay here again.
- Judith (6/5): - Needed updating.
- Raymond (5/5): Great price and met our somewhat average rating because of room odor. - Overall, met expectations as somewhat average accommodations. The room had a really stinky odor (smelled like old cigarettes). We left window open. We were comfortable besides that. Office was friendly and prompt. No problems with our Internet reservations. Very good price for one night stay. We’d stay again but not first choice. The price was significant in our decision. Room had a horrible odor of old cigarettes. Toilet had some initial flushing issues, but recovered.
- Sharon M (10/5): - Clean and quiet which is the main thing. Very old decor but still good.
- Pearce (7/5): -
- Stephen (8/5): Small but comfortable - Very nice small motel that has recently been updated. They have a new shower, new wall paneling and new multiple channel flat screen TV. It was a small room but comfortable. At night they have an outdoor fire pit with all the stuff for making smores. Would stay there again if i were in the area. They even have a light breakfast.
- Donna (9/5): Good - The toilet paper in the bathroom is located too far away from the toilet. People with short arms did struggle.
- Michael (8/5): Overall it was a good place to stay for the money. Clean, no bugs, and close to restaurants. - It’s quite no problems at the property. Staff knocks around 10 to clean even though check out is 11.
- Volker (6/5): ok -
- Yvonne (7/5): Pleasant motel - It was a good price & close to our family function. Also I appreciated that they were clean & had bed bug covers on the mattress. I don't usually like to go to motels, but I slept well. Thank you 😊 All the work trucks had to over run the parking area where they gave us a room.
- David (4/5): - Didn't like being packed in like sardines, definitely not cool 😒
- Arnold (8/5): Great value. - For the money the stay met our needs. Firm beds. Clean bathrooms (although they have not been updated since the 60s look). Like the 1 story park and unload concept so that was great. The property is within walking of several restaurants and services. The only negative which isn’t a deal breaker was that the owner lives in the check-in office and their cooking with spices can be smelled before you enter the office. Once inside it was over powering. But a quick check in process was appreciated.
- Marcie (8/5): - Old school motel. Lots of rooms.
- Barry (5/5): Not a five star motel, but certainly served its purpose well - This is a true review, older yet clean an economically priced. Staff was courteous plenty of parking. The rates were jacked up during the Fourth of July weekend.
- wendy (8/5): - It
- Richard (4/5): - Stay away ! Holes in walls , mold in bathroom , reeked of smoke , light fixtures look like they lost the fight .! Only bright side was the staff … nice people .
- Christopher (10/5): - Cheap motel for the price.
- William (10/5): - This hotel is walking distance from the five food options and a 1 minute drive to mcdonalds and a 3 min drive to time hortons. This is a great location, i'll be staying again at this same location next year
- Melody (4/5): Disappointing -
- Steven (10/5): - convenient location
- Preston (8/5): - Hairball
- Christine (4/5): At least it was clean - It was clean The room smelled like smoke, the chair in the room had a huge rip in it. The hair dryer was broken. There was rust on all of the base board heat registers. The refrigerator in the room was running so loud we had to unplug it to be able to sleep. And when checking in they charged us a different rate than what was agreed on booking.com
- Patricia (4/5): - U need to let guest have guest if they paid for the room.
- Ramirez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Garriott (8/5): Decided to stay another night - Cute little rooms, with windows all around that opened. Restaurants all around. Road just redone.
- Sarah (8/5): - Probably the cleaneat motel I have ever stayed in. Everything was a bit shabby and old but so clean. Very nice mattress, easy check in.
- Tom (6/5): Pleasant -
- Maria (7/5): Good - The room was a good size and looked clean. It had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and hairdryer. The fridge was very noisy and made it hard to sleep, and the bathroom needs renovation, but everything worked fine.
- Jonathan.hu (8/5): Very good -
- Ronald (8/5): - Security was my issue , with there full time clientele , I didn't feel secure for my boat. Expedia discount was the difference it saved enough money. They wanted 90 per night. I could stay at a Marriott or better for that price. Over all solid 4 out of 6
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - I liked everything The only thing I didn't like was on the last day my checkout is at 11:00 staff kept knocking on my door every hour if I'm not supposed to be out till 11:00 you shouldn't bother me till 11:00 I paid till then I'm staying till then
- CORY (10/5): - Pretty much exactly what i expected.. all we needed for 1 night.
- Henry (10/5): - The staff are customer's centered and friendly
- Melissa Bobo (10/5): Clean, simple, easy. Recommend - We got more than expected from this cute little motel. Clean, simple, easy. Checking in, the room, parking lot all great. Will def be staying again and recommend for the price.
- Casey (1/5): Wouldn’t stay there again - Friendly staff Rude customers next door couldn’t sleep fighting all night
- Charlie (8/5): - Decent place for the money.
- DENNIS (4/5): - All we wanted was a clean place to sleep. Bathroom was in poor condition. Dirty around the edges. Carpeting made you feel like you didn't want to go bare footed. Construction equipment in the parking area. Not a pleasant stay.
- Virginia (10/5): - It was quiet
- Richard (6/5): - You get what you pay for
- Jodie (5/5): Passable -
- Postiff (4/5): You get what you pay for...move on - Easy to get to from I75. Low rates. Nothing updated on this property since the 1970s. Vert damp and musty in room. You get what you pay for. Should have spent the extra $30/night for a better hotel.
- Daryl (8/5): Great value - Clean property. Quiet stay. Needs a couple updates or maintenance: bathroom door, bathroom heater cover. But it was a good, cheap place to stay.
No continental breakfast even though hotels.com say it has it.
- David (10/5): - Nice affordable place for a quick stay. Convenient to downtown and I-75.
- Taku (7/5): Met my expactation. - Good location. Reasonable price.
- Samir (10/5): - It was a nice little place!
- Ellie (4/5): - Carpet worn and dirty. Room smelled like smoke although was told that all rooms were nonsmoking. Service was fine
- Cindy (8/5): Inexpensive stopover - Place is exactly as advertised. Old but well cared for and very clean. Bed was comfy, a/c worked great and it had a fridge and microwave. For the price it was just fine.
- Melissa (10/5): - Very clean and quiet
- Shekeisha (10/5): - Very quiet
- Jan (7/5): Good place to stay for just sleep and shower. - They do not serve breakfast or anything that I know of. Use to have cereal and packaged pastry. Didn’t even see set up for it The pool.
- Lonnie (8/5): - We checked out our room first and it smelled smoky. So they showed us another room and it was ok. They have ash trays on the window ledges so if the windows had been open and someone smoked it could get in room. There was no continental breakfast. Other than that it was ok.
- Jami (5/5): Passable - Staff was very nice. Room was very clean. Location was perfect. The guy screaming at 630 or 7 am.
- Beverly (6/5): - Non smoking room smelled like cigarettes!
- Corina (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robert (1/5): Place is in dire need of repairs and good cleaning - They had no breakfast Well 1st of all there was mold on the ceilings in our room Air conditioner did not work my husband and I Sweated sweated the whole night. Smoke detector was missing from room Overall I would definitely not recommend this place
- Kammy (9/5): Superb - It's a very clean motel for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. Also very quiet in peaceful. There was nothing I didn't like it was a very nice motel and great price.
- Lori (10/5): When I visit Bay City I will stay at the Euclid - The other occupants were very friendly. The ice machine was broke for two days
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edward (7/5): Good for the cost. - Not offered When we arrived the room was cold, it took hours to warm up. The heat and air conditioner unit was mounted high on the wall and ran continuously, very noisy.
- Thomas (10/5): Very Good - Very good place to stay for the price. Proprietors very friendly. Room was excellent, no problems.
- Buford (10/5): - I am a big fan of the 'motor inn' style where the doors face outwards. Very convenient. However, there is a stigma that these types of motels are junky. This one is not. It is very nice.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room had a musty smell.
No breakfast (room conditions on Hotel.com showed it provides).
Visible yellowish stains on pillowcases.
Telephone in the room can receive calls from the front desk, but is unable to dial out.
All others seem good.
- Melissa (1/5): Worst ever - nothing the staff is rude! I asked for a min early check in through booking.com i recieved an email stating it was okay than I get to hotel nothing was mentioned. 11am comes rolling around and they are calling for check out. tried to show them the email and where they said it was okay, but they said still have to pay for extra day along with pet deposit. my boyfriend had his dog with him and was dropping me off and was having a short meal than was leaving but they made me pay for the dog to be in the room for 10 min. by end of it all they basically threatened to call the cops on me after I was willing to pay 125 to stay
- Penni (6/5): Pleasant -
- Darren (8/5): - Very clean, I had a problem with the heat, it would not turn off other then that real nice
- Eric (8/5): Very good -
- Om (10/5): We loved Euclid Motel stay - We had really great experience, staff was really helpful and kind.
- Melissa (10/5): - She was very nice
- Amy (8/5): It was a nice stay. - No breakfast but it's ok. The location was right.
- Jimmy (4/5): - No heat on a cold night. Refrigerator made an ear-piercing rattle; had to unplug it. Wireless password I was given didn’t work. All in all, I got what I paid for.
- Michael (7/5): Good - Close to event we were going too Refrigerator made an ungodly noise so had to shut it off. Air conditioner heater was noisy too. Tended to go on and off every 15 to 20 minutes so sleep interuptions.
- Alberto (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great, the location was perfect
- Khalil (10/5): - It was a quiet and peaceful stay with a friendly staff
- Aimee (8/5): - We like it.
- Rob (8/5): Very good -
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable beds clean room very very nice staff
Great prices and absolutely perfect location
- Bree (7/5): Good -
- Athanasia (6/5): - Although they supposed to provide breakfast that was included other than coffee there was nothing else
- Kathi (9/5): Would stay again and also recommend if not looking for an expensive room. - Did not have breakfast - was meeting family for breakfast elsewhere. This is an older motel, but was very clean and no road noise. The air conditioning was a little loud but not too bad. The refrigerator had a hum/whine when it kicked on, but the air conditioner made it less noticeable. The bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner could have been less noisy, but at least we had air and it worked!!
- Elena (4/5): 😬 - Room smelled terrible, the ac was broken. 90 plus degrees. To which they offered a desk fan. The linens were stained/worn/holes. From wash clothes to sheets. Ice machine broken as well.
- Daniel (7/5): Good - Breakfast
- Cheryl (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gerald (3/5): Poor -
- Shelly (4/5): - Room was not very clean. Definitely not very comfortable. We actually didn’t stay the night, just went home
- Vickie (5/5): not a good place to stay if you’re trying to sleep - location to Resteraunt’s very busy at all times of the night
- John (8/5): stayed a few times, great value for your dollar. - very clean rooms and excellent location for my purposes. towels need to be upgraded
- Emma (5/5): Passable - Breakfast was advertised but not included
- Judith (10/5): Clean and Friendly - We appreciated having a room available early in the day so we could dress for a special event we were attending. The accommodations were clean and complete, including the hairdryer and refrigerator. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area.
- Aimee (8/5): - It's a decent place at a decent price. Like a lot of hotels these days, coffee needs to be addressed however we are learning to bring our own. This was our second stay there.
