- Heino (2/5): Bruchbude - Lage an der Hauptstraße. Club der von den Studenten des Colleges am WE bis 02:00h frequentiert wird, liegt direkt nebenan, Geräuschkulisse entsprechend. Mobiliar aus den 60igern völlig abgerockt. Bad modernisiert, leider von Heimwerkern: steht nach dem Duschen trotz Duschwand zu 25% unter Wasser. Insgesamt sind dafür selbst € 110,- noch deutlich Zuviel .
- KELHOME (5/5): Disappointed. False advertising. - Motels were full in town, so they accommodated us by giving us a room that didn't have renovations completed. Bed and pillows very comfortable. We booked with Booking.com before we arrived, then when we got there, we were told there wasn't a room due to renovations. Then as we were leaving, staff came out and told us they would give us a room, if we would take one under renovation. Then they up charged us $30+ dollars from the Booking.com price. The advertising out front of motel didn't tell you they were under going renovation and it still said Free Breakfast which they didn't have. I had stayed at this motel before, so was very disappointed,
- Hatt (10/5): Marshall Lodge 3 Day Stay - I loved the kitchenette, the bed was very comfortable though when I stripped it at the end of my stay there was stains on the pillows so new pillows would be a huge investment. The room had been recently updated, but the contractor that was used did not clean up the caulking around the edges of the tiles, fixtures and cabinets. There was paint speckles on the sink and bathroom cabinet as well as drywall dust left behind. Not something that was the property owners fault at all, but definitely something that could be cleaned up by a hired professional. All in all the room was exceptional. Just some minor details that I noticed on my stay!
- Gene (4/5): What the hell did I get us into? - The staff was very kind. The security of the room was very lacking. I wedged 2 chairs between the door and a wall. Issues with plumbing, water, stinky water, coming up from shower drain. Toilet was gurgling. This all before we had used the bathroom. Furniture was questionable to sit in. Weird stains and mildew like growth on the seat. Changing rooms at 10 PM was interesting. Especially when checking in I was told there were not any other rooms. The price for the room was altered by clerk and was charged almost 75 dollars more than what was quoted on app. The gentleman was kind enough to meet us in the middle. Still paying 35 dollars more than what was expected. Honestly felt we were in a Hostel situation. Kind of creepy! I've been in some places, this one took the cake! One more funny thing. I was searching for ice for our evening cocktail. I went to the front office with the ice bucket and asked the location of the ice machine. The kind gentleman took my bucket and disappeared for a few moments. While he was gone. I could hear the ice hitting the bucket. Didn't hear a machine dispensing the ice. I'm almost certain he gave us 12 ice cubes out of a freezer ice tray. 🤣🤣 luckily there is a faithful Walmart down the road. You can buy a small bag of ice for a 2 bucks. Just a helpful tip.

But then turned around and said someone else booked that room they did not specify on the website that they was remodeling and then they tried to charge my card for the hotel amount 😞

- O'leary (1/5): Never stay here. - Absolutely nothing! We did not stay and was not given a refund. We walked into our rooms and the smell was horrible. I turned on the bathroom light and it flickered constantly. The bathroom exhaust fan was loud. The walls and doors were dirty and dingy. When you sat on the bed, you could feel the springs. There was a chain link fence right outside the window and it felt like we were in a prison. Very outdated! When I came in to check in, the front desk man was on a personal call on his laptop and made me wait. I did tell him that we had driven 10 hours and would like to check in. We left after examining the room and was promised a full refund if we promised not to give a bad review. See above comment!!! This is a horrible hotel.

And was very unpleasant! The room looked pretty clean but smell told me it wasn't. I think the smell may have in or coming from the carpet. The room wasn't too dated. but somethings were in bad condition or broken - the toilet seat in bad condition and didn't the stool shape, a light switch cover was broken, an electrical outlet was loose and coming out of the wall. the drain stopper was missing,

- Kara (1/5): Worst experience EVER - Nothing Bugs everywhere, smelly, faulty electrical wires, argumentative staff, out dated amenities and bedding/furniture. I asked for a refund after announcing we wouldn't be staying and I got reprimanded for taking too long to tell them I didn't like the room. It had been only 10 minutes while I inspected the room. When I said forget it and tried to leave, the staff member chased me to my car. If I had been alone, I would've called the police.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - The sign says free breakfast, low rates, and a pool. None of that was true! Very dirty outside in the parking lot and the hallways. Various people sitting on hood of cars, others on plastic chairs in parking lots lending an unsafe feeling. The room was, however, fairly clean.

Never stay here if you can help it. I only stayed cause my son was graduating from college and the two best hotels in town were already booked.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Trash along the entrance sidewalks....bathroom was terrible, small and round toilet seat on extended toilet seat that pinched everytime sat on....we were assured of a king size bed and when we arrived none available in the whole place so we had to pay 10.00 extra to get 2 regular beds and was supposed to be non smoking room , on arrival and every time we left and came back to a smoke filled room so bad we had to use an air cleaner !! beds were clean tho!! Electrical for plugin of refrigerator and Micro wave were a "maze of connections" and wall plug didn't work!! We were quite disgusted with it as we paid more and got less!!

The water pressure in the shower was high but it caused the floor in the bathroom to get soaked. There was no phone in the room and our keys would stop working every other try.

- Verified traveler (2/5): NOT DIRTY- JUST TERRIBLE - hotel is old and worn out- beds and room looked clean- room was old and dark. bathroom light didn't even work- so not sure how they cleaned anything- light switch turns on TV and fridge- we had food in the fridge- that at some point they came in and turned light switch off- food was spoiled. 4 days- they never cleaned room once- never made beds- etc.. there was NO door hanger to ask them for privacy- so that wasn't the issue, they brought us clean towels and some "make up remover" because "obviously we needed it- because we had used a wash cloth to wash our faces and it had makeup on it" per the lady who brought towels- but never made the bed- LOL TV was a joke- about 10 of the 150 channels worked- the rest were pixilated so bad you could not see them.

- Michelle (2/5): Steer Clear of the Marshall Lodge - Horrible first impression - very small lobby - drab and not appealing. Wreaked of Body Odor. Once attendant worked with me I figured out where the B.O. was coming from. Permeated the entire lobby area. Got to room -- room door was wide open - had not yet been cleaned up from previous guests. Curtains were half up half down and had holes in them. Turned around and went back to the front desk and got a refund. They did not want to refund, but eventually did. Will never, ever go here again.
- IVAN (2/5): - The windows were dirty there were cobwebs hanging 2 bed clothes were stained refrigerator was dirty I will never stay there again and I was locked out of my room for one hour and there was a sign in the lobby be back in 5 minutes but I had to wait for one hour to get in!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): An older motel. - Though an older motel, It was clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. It was quiet also. Not much on handicap toilets, but they accommodated us by allowing us to switch to a lower room.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Filthy hotel - Filthy hotel! Went up to our room and there were dead bugs in the bed. Toilet was dirty, floor had crumbs on it. Stains on the sheets and it smelled awful. Went down to the lobby and demanded my money back!

- Verified traveler (4/5): Dead bugs on bathroom floor - It was quiet however there were dead bugs on the bathroom floor, the towel rack fell of the wall and overall condition was not very clean.
- Verified traveler (2/5): No one should ever stay at this Lodge.! - The place looks like a condemned building where they threw some beds in. Shower had mold, sheets on bed were dirty, and carpet a mess. Furniture was covered in dust, with cobwebs hanging from various areas.
- Patrick (6/5): - Only problem I had was I saw a price for 52 dollars but I assume because most of our crew had booked there when I booked they raised it to 62$ had stayed at better places for cheaper
- michelle (6/5): - Desk person was very kind. It appears that the majority of the rooms in this hotel are used as week to week or long-term rentals, perhaps by construction workers in the area, etc. One separate building with about 8 rooms is used as a traditional hotel. When we arrived the bathroom had not been cleaned (toothpaste in the sink, urine on the toilet seat). I told the owner and the next day he had his cleaning person do a thorough cleaning. Our room was on the first floor, which also houses an old ice machine. This machine is very, very noisy causing great sleep disturbance. Another of our family members was in a different room across from us and had the same sleepless nights due to the ice machine. Anyhow, it isn't terrible, but would recommend people consider that it is not a bargain compared to the other options in Marshall.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Extremely Poor Conditions - Booked the stay due to dropping my child off at school. The town is some distance from amenities. Bought Lysol wipes to do a bit of cleaning on my own. The place is in quite a state of disrepair, bed cover had stains, spiders nesting in the corners, ashes on the floor and behind the night stands, tub caulking filled with mildew, safety drain for the tub was just a gaping hole in the tub, smelled very musty, ice machine in hallway was leaking into the bathroom causing obvious water stain in our bathroom. Positives: Front desk staff was nice. Overall very, very poor condition. I would not recommend this motel to anyone. Stay in Sedalia, just a short trip south of here, better rooms and coffee is available at multiple locations.

- Pamela J (6/5): Doable for one night stay - Clean room, however there wasn't a coffee maker, hair dryer, shampoo, hair conditioner. Breakfast was in a very small area in lobby with no tables or place to sit. The styrofoam cups where extremely small like a child juice cup size. The bed was clean and comfortable and air conditioner work great.
