Guest Reviews
- Shabnam Karimi (6/5): - Overall, the room met expectation. The staff was really kind and helpful and the location was central. The noise was not too bad, but in the morning it was a bit excessive since I’m a light sleeper…. The shower was a bit small for my 6’3 husband. Overall, it was a bit rundown and older of a hotel so if that doesn’t bother you, this is a great pick and the price was decent for the area.
- Don (6/5): Friendly in-keeper, older hotel - The place is old, cleanliness is OK, Joseph who runs the place is great and has some good recommendations, including Chefs Bistro in North Conway, excellent lobster roll with butter. Our room had a musty smell not overwhelming but noticeable. Check in area is open tell 9 pm.
- Pratima (8/5): - For the price during the peak season, this motel is very good. Nothing fancy but clean, cozy, has working a/c, coffee maker with good coffee pods, a small fridge, exhaust in the bathroom, nice view from the windows and had everything we needed. Close to everything in North Conway town. The check in person was very friendly and nice.
- Mark (10/5): - Very friendly check in. This is a well kept and somewhat historic motel in what I am learning is a tourist area. The room is simple and clean. Good value considering the price of other hotels in this area.
- James (8/5): Get what you pay for. Not bad, not great - For the price, it was great! We stayed in one of the Cabins, which was nice. This is a get what you pay for type of place though. Hasn’t been updated in a long long time. The bathroom did have some areas of mold & the A/C was hardly working. The bed was comfy and the staff was nice! Just know what to expect when you’re going in.
- Kimberly (10/5): - The inn is absolutely adorable concept. I loved having our own little room. Like most of the hotels/motels up here it is close to the street and you can hear the cars, so being your sound machine! The rooms are clean. We did have quite a few Asian beetles in our room (guessing a previous person left the door open). The rooms are older (ie creaky floor, creaky bed, old bathroom). The hot water in the shower was fabulous and the heat/air conditioning worked very well. It is close to Kangamangus highway as well as both new and old downtowns. The staff is kind too!
- William (10/5): - Let’s face it when it’s foliage season in North Conway. You’re gonna pay all the money even for this little cracker box of a motel room, noisy very dated, but I have to give them props. It was clean. The bed was like something out of a homeless shelter, very uncomfortable and noisy. Very close to busy road.
- SARA (8/5): - Very clean staff were very nice I mean extremely nice The air conditioning was a little hot, but the room was very cozy and nice
- Patricia (6/5): - Room was clean. Staff very friendly and had recommendations for restaurants. Keep in mind place was an old schoolhouse. Room was good for me on size. Lighting could be better. The AC/ heat is a window unit and will be noisy. You will hear some traffic. Towels could be softer. My bathroom was very small but doable.
- Nancy (10/5): - Staff was excellent and very helpful. Took our luggage when we got there early then delivered it to our rooms while we were out exploring. Everything is close by. Cabin was small and clean but didnt need much room because we were out and about most of the time.
- Carol A (10/5): - The room is clean but very small.
- Kathy (8/5): - Older hotel off the highway so around 7am could hear traffic. No where to put any toiletries. Room was clean which is the most important
- Terry (10/5): - Loved staying in cabin 26. Tucked away by itself with a nice screened porch overlook. Had a nice time staying there and would do so again.
- Linda (6/5): - Staff was excellent. Friendly and helpful. Our room was dirty around the corners and windows. Sheets were clean. One bed was very uncomfortable- too soft- the other bed was ok.
- Janet (10/5): - Gentleman that checked us in was very friendly, provided information about local things to do and even brought ice to our room after we checked in.
- Emily (10/5): - Clean cozy rooms that are delightful and relaxing. Cant wait to visit again!
- Jenna (10/5): - Very clean, staff was great. Very affordable when looking for just a place to stay/sleep. Not up to date- but clean. No food options- but knew that going in to it. Perfect for sleeping/ staying while planning activities in all the great areas around and in North Conway.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Cute cabin, friendly staff and very convenient to shopping and restaurants.
- Alison (8/5): - Charming old cottage’s. Not luxury, but perfectly adequate and cozy
- William (10/5): - Nice room - close to shopping and dining - good value for the price
- James (10/5): - Friendly check in clerk. Easy check out. Fun, casual town. Gorgeous scenery.
- Dustin (10/5): - This was a great older motel. Felt like staying in a spare room in someone's house. Fantastic view. Really well located in town.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - As soon as i opened the door i said wow very nice
- Jacob (10/5): - Just a nice place to stay.
- Ricky (10/5): - Very clean and tidy
- Martin (10/5): - Simple, clean, quiet and safe
The people who work there are great
- Thomas (6/5): Could have been better. - The school house in was fine, nothing more nothing less. Difficult to watch even basic channels like abc,nbc and cbs due to sign in difficulty. No kleenex in room and lighting was poor at best. We wouldn’t stay there again.
- Joann (10/5): - Wonderful!
- Calvin (6/5): - K
- Nathaniel (10/5): - Very nice
- Paige (8/5): Stop off in N Conway - Reception lady was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Good value for the money. Just needed a place to sleep not something elaborate
- Matthew (8/5): - Was very pleasant , clean for the most part , very comfortable beds and decent bathroom.
- Mary (10/5): - historic
- Robert (10/5): Great - Great value, great view, great location!!!
Spend your money on the fun stuff not the room. We'll be back.
- Terijo (8/5): - It was very convenient and clean
- Mark (8/5): - The owner and family are super attentive, kind and very hard working.
- Joey (8/5): - Everything good. Really good service.
Only thing could be better, A/C too loud.
Thanks 4 everything
- James (10/5): - Great place to stay in North Conway! No frills, but rooms are clean and comfortable.
- Frank (10/5): - My room was remodeled very clean and comfortable for the age of the motel!!!
They were super friendly!
- Donald (10/5): - This quaint, historic property was a great way to begin our family vacation as we stayed in North Conway for a couple of nights before heading to Maine. There were plenty of wonderful places to eat nearby, the location was great for walking, and its proximity to the North Conway Railroad Station was tremendously convenient. We'd definitely stay here again if our travels bring us to the area!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - If you need a simple clean safe place to sleep, this will do! The bed was uncomfortable though, but it was ok for a short stay.
- Tab (10/5): - Family run, they where very sociable and kind
- Sylvain (8/5): - As always, well kept. Clean and cozy
- Radcliffe (2/5): - Im sorry but this place is not for us. Room smelled very musty, visible mold in bathroom. Carpet was old and stained, didn't feel clean enough to walk around barefoot. AC was loud and constantly turning off and on throughout the night making sleep difficult. I will say the cost was low but not worth these conditions in my opinion.
- Jenny (10/5): - Good place
- Daniel (10/5): - Easy to get too, but just needed a couple of things like iron and board tissues also microwave 🙃
- Lori (10/5): - Very clean! Nice friendly. We had 2 cars and they let us leave one there all day . Check-in time was not till 3:00 and we we were there at 10:00 am
- George (6/5): - Decent place for a night.
- Wayne (8/5): - Very Nice Historic landmark !!! I would recommend this location.
- Patrick (6/5): - The TV stunk no local channels no ESPN or other channels I watch
- Troy (6/5): - Great area in town North Conway. The staff member was very friendly. The rooms are old and dated. Bathroom door would not shut, lamp was missing the knib to turn on and off. One bar of soap and two shampoos were the only toiletries and no hair dryer as listed. No ice machine to be found. It was the cheapest option in the area, but wouldn't stay again. We waited until last minute to book and this was what we got. We found the bed to be uncomfortable but that's subjective.
- Donna (8/5): - .
- Rosemary (8/5): - Consistent and accessible. Near down town, not tres elegant, more casual and homey.
- Shane (10/5): - This is a family owned property and the staff are amazing.
- Anthony (10/5): - We had a greet time, great location. Very clean, well-maintained, and friendly staff.
- Mary (10/5): - I thought the service was wonderful. Everything that I needed all I had to do was ask for. It is certainly a place that you’d want to go again.
- Rosemary (8/5): - Nice little rooms in a great location.
- Linda (10/5): - The location is fantastic for all hobbies, restaurants and local tourist sites
- Robert (10/5): - Great location! Close to shopping and good dining. Clean and comfortable.
- JAMES (10/5): - Wonderful stay! Clean and comfortable! Will def stay again! Staff is great!
- Margaret (10/5): - I didn’t like the fact that no one was in the lobby to greet you. I had to call on the phone and someone came right away. I thought they should have someone covering at night rather than having to call if there was a problem.
- Hai (10/5): - Clean, excellent for the price
- Virginia (8/5): - We stayed in a private cabin that admittally needs a few repairs, but we loved the quiet peaceful space that was actually in a very great location.
Screens definitely need repair.
- Debby (8/5): - We were able to sit outside.
No bath tub, unfortunately.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Average accommodation, waited at the desk for person for at least 10 minutes . She was very pleasant and apologetic when she did arrive but had been doing the housekeeping and cleaning as well .
- Debra (10/5): - Well kept property close to everything.
- patricia (6/5): - This is an older property, but it seemed like every effort was made to make customer comfortable. Price is right for what you get. Check in person very nice
- Anthony (8/5): - I had a very quiet and peaceful single night here. The room was perfectly fine for my needs. The view from the back (private) balcony of my room was quite nice. The staff are very friendly and there are multiple dining and shopping options within a 5-10 minute drive. I would stay here again if I were passing through the area.
- Karlie (10/5): - .
- Matt (10/5): - Clean and friendly.
- Rosemary (10/5): - Pool is more private
- Peter (10/5): - Neat, clean, very nce people just a little too close to the road for traffic noise but excellent value and accomodations.
- Lazar (10/5): - Everything was great
- Debra (10/5): - Very friendly, conveniently located, clean, very informative regarding things to do, where to eat.
- craig (8/5): - Nice location,
- Karen (8/5): - The room was adequate but the rug was stained. I didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot on it. Everything else was fine.
- Kayla (10/5): - Great place to stay! Very clean & staff is very pleasant.
- David (10/5): - Been coming here for a long time. The staff have never let me down
- WVAC (10/5): - nice
- Jessica (10/5): - Great staff and the owner was very nice as well. Love the cabin we stayed in. The only downfall but not a huge deal for us was the grass could have been mowed. I’m positive if I said something they most likely would have taken care of it. They were very helpful on listening and listing areas to explore and gave us whatever we needed will definitely be going back
- Kerry (10/5): - Beautiful views and extremely friendly staff
- Kelly (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at the North Conway Mountain Inn during our road trip to New Hampshire! We originally booked at the sister location, however received a call that we were upgraded free of charge to the Mountain Inn! It was the perfect accommodations for what we needed, with a beautiful view on the balcony to have our coffee with in the mornings! The front desk staff was so welcoming and accommodating, even letting us borrow a microwave to heat up our dinner one evening. The room was clean, comfortable and simple, with some charming touches. Location was great access to a lot of sites, stores, and coffee locations.
- Daniel (8/5): - Overall, enjoyed the stay. Great hospitality, very cozy, clean, convenient.
- Meghan (8/5): - Cute historic place. Small room as they used to be. Simple. Clean
- Ariel (10/5): - Highly recommend staying here. Great location, nice rooms and friendly staff
- John T (8/5): - The view from the outside balcony was tremendous
- Jonathan (6/5): - location
- Cyrus (10/5): Quick stay at a nice hotel - The manager was extremely friendly. He offered a lot of information about the city and was eager to help.
The room was small, but the price was great. It was in good condition and was perfect for what we needed.
- John (8/5): - Great place, perfect for visiting Portland.
- Suwanna (6/5): - no any snacks or coffee at the office. The coffee maker in the room did not work.
- Tim (10/5): - Great, clean space with friendly and attentive staff .
- xuan (8/5): - It is walking distance to the Conway railway station. There are Thai and Indian restaurants around, which is very convenient.
- LIE XIONG (6/5): - Regular
- Edelweiss (6/5): Rustic - We stayed at this hotel for a night with family, we arrived after 7 pm. Check in was fine, the lady who checked us in was helpful. We stayed in a rustic cabin detached from the main building. Room was clean but very tight for our family of 4. Very little space for our luggage. Bathroom was tight, shower can be claustrophobic for some. They provided 2 small tubes of shampoo, which was barely enough for my 2 girls with long hair. I requested for more, but was told they don’t have any left and will have to wait the following morning from housekeeping. But we never received it the following day. No hair dryer in the bathroom, we also had to request it from the office. Room has small refrigerator, but it has no freezer. No microwave. Room has a portable heater which was sufficient to warm our room. One of the lamps didn’t work, but office was already closed at 9pm when we found out. They do not provide free breakfast, no amenities. But they gave us a jar of pasta sauce! Hotel is located along busy road, near many restaurants. But for the price we paid, it’s not worth it!
- Laura (10/5): - Good basic motel. Spacious room. Expensive for what it was but par for the course in the Fall in New England
- Bradley (6/5): - Not worth the price we paid.
- Robert (10/5): - We got there and the wrong was given to us but they did get us the correct so no issues . We had not hot water that night. Our beds and pillows were very uncomfortable.I have stayed at motels for 70 dollars compared to 300 per night that were way better.
- Karp (6/5): - No brakefast, not very clean, noisy
- Josy (8/5): - Nice location
- Jamie (8/5): Friendly check in - Check in was great . Was told alittle about the old schoolhouse and New Hampshire.
