- 27DavidG (6/5): Typical Marriott Courtyard - Stayed at the Courtyard a few months ago while in San Angelo on business. I was in room 222, the hotel is very clean and comfortable, staff are all very helpful and pleasant. Check in/Check out was flawless, didnt eat or use any of the other hotel facilities but the rooms were well maintained and had everything I required.
- Laura (7/5): Nice, but not a good value for San Angelo - This is a very nice property. That being said, you have to pay for parking (not much, thankfully) and put a placard on your dashboard. The bar and restaurant is open limited hours in the morning and evening, and not only is there no free breakfast, there’s not even free coffee in the lobby. Your only options are the mediocre coffee in the room or Starbucks coffee in the restaurant ($4.50 just for a brewed decaf coffee!). And even that’s not available after 10 am. The room rates are expensive compared to other chain hotels of similar quality nearby. It’s not a bad place to stay overall, but next time I’ll stay at a traditional “free breakfast” chain nearby and just go out for dinner.

- KirvinRogers (2/5): Horrible customer experience - It was a horrible experience. I made a reservation a few months in advance, and no room was available on the day of my stay. I was told they gave my room away because they were overbooked. I am Titanium Elite with Marriott, and they could care less about customer experience. I have contacted the Corporate office, and I am waiting for a response. If you decide to make a reservation here, be careful; it's not truly a reservation. We even did mobile checkin and called the hotel the day of to confirm. Still didn't save us a room. I have left messages for the general manager to contact me, and it's been over a week, and still no contact. Customer beware.
- AC_84791 (6/5): Travel to San Angelo - Use this hotel for the Marriott brand and Bonvoy membership. Clean and remodeled. But FOH at the desk during morning shift, including early afternoon couldn’t care less if you’re there, seems like they’d want to be anywhere but there, and you’re an inconvenience for interrupting the day. I noticed the late afternoon guest relations was so much more courteous observed with guests during check in. Check in - quick and efficient but no recognition of stays or status; just a small bag of water and candy as a gift. The bistro had decent options for snacks and food, standard across the brand which is consistent. Check out: same front of house, simple thanks and punch the keyboard and receipt in the inbox. No see you next time, safe travels, etc. I don’t ask for much in terms of customer service but if that’s the bare minimum of warmth, I’d rather interact with a kiosk. May try the other Marriott property in town next time.
- Workinginacoalmine (2/5): Bad television and bad service from the manager - The television in this hotel stinks. No local channels are available in the rooms, only downstairs in the bar. The hotel manager, Michelle, was uncooperative and stated that it was not available from Directv for commercial accounts. I stay 75 days or more a year in Marriott hotels with Directv and they all have local channels. The only streaming services that can be connected to their televisions are Netflix, YouTube and Pandora. The manager acted like I would believe her story, but it was all lies. Changing my next reservation to a different hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The stove was sticky. There was residue on the toilet and on the shower, which wouldn’t get hot the first night. I couldn’t get late check out even after all that. And when I asked the desk person where to eat locally, in downtown, he said “I’m not from here” and directed me to the Olive Garden. Not a fan.

Room arrangement needs to be changed. Bed needs to be in front of TV .More space around bed for walking. Food from previous visitor on floor in front of sofa.

- Jeff (8/5): Other than a couple nit-picking items, the hotel is great. It's clean and modern with great staff - Hotel is clean, modern, and rooms are spacious. Staff is fantastic. I may be nit-picking a bit, but the A/C unit in our room made more noise than it probably should so made it hard to fall asleep. Also, not sure if this is a Marriott thing, but the TV channels are limited....no local affiliate channels for Fox, ABC, NBC, or CBS so couldn't watch any of the major college football games.
