• Minerva (1/5): Expensive slum - There was nothing that I liked about the property. It’s in a very sketchy area and poorly kept. The property was in a very sketchy area and was not secure at all. The room was expensive for the location and condition of the rooms. The towels were dirty and the people around the area were intimidating. The attendant didn’t speak good English and what was also sketchy for me was that he wrote down my debit card on a piece of paper with all my personal information. He ran my card and got his payment so I didn’t see the need for him to have my card information. Then he also asked for a $40 deposit.

• Heather (6/5): - Low price motel, good location, several shopping or food choices nearby. Worn, dated, a little dirty, but good if you just need a place to sleep. Staff was very nice.

• Matias (8/5): Buena habitación y atención , mal barrio - La atención de la persona en recepción fue excelente. Muy atento ya que tuvimos un problema personal y esta persona se mostró muy atenta. La habitación estaba en perfecto estado, muy limpio todo. Lo necesario que uno puede necesitar funcionaba. La zona no es para nada recomendable. No ha pasado ningún problema pero no es un lugar donde uno elegiría salir a comer afuera o volver de noche caminando solo o en pareja. Hay mucha gente en los alrededores drogandose, tiradas en las calles. No es un barrio lindo, pero uno puede pasar la noche tranquilo. En nuestro caso nos movíamos en auto.

• Andrés Iván (9/5): Correct place - The room was okay, not too big. The beds were super comfortable. The location was a bit far from the Strip, but close to the northern part of the city, which is also very pleasant and away from the chaos. The staff's attention was sometimes unpleasant.

• Breezy (3/5): For one night, it wasn't bad but not clean and not comfortable. I was ready to leave in the morning. - Close to the destination I needed to travel to the next day. Affordable. Close to restaurants and stores. The toilet was leaking water. The beds were hard as a rock! The shower and bathroom were gross and seemed like they weren't cleaned at all. The towels we disgusting with stains and one was left on the bathroom floor damp when we got there which made the bathroom smell gross. And the bedsheets weren't switched out because when I got ready for bed, there were small pieces of rocks where my feet were.

• Tmount (3/5): Well, when you pay $159 for a hotel room, 12 minutes outside of dodger stadium, you can't expect 5/5 - There were no bugs and the AC was cold. The door to the room locked and we felt safe in the room. We got what we paid for. The bathroom door didn't lock, there were bodily fluids on the sheets, and the location leaves a bit to be desired.

• Derkulture (10/5): Had a wonderful experience. I always do here. Room is clean, recently renovated and was cozy. I - I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the decent sized room, the staff was friendly and accommodating yet minded their business. If you understand where you are in relation to the part of town, really I have no complaints. It was great.

Look for another hotel could find any late that evening Did not take any pictures, noticed my personal stuff was rang sack looking valuables.
• Ernest (1/5): Regret and frustration, I wish I booked somewhere where I’d be comfortable! - I like that it a discrete location The heater does not work, I called and ask to be moved to another room, I was told no and if I wanted an extra blanket! I didn’t pay 160 to be here in the cold feeling like I’m about to get sick If I had extra funds I would just leave and book somewhere else! The worst experience ever! Then there’s holes and stains in and on the covers ! They only gave me dry off towels and no wash cloths!

Had hot water. Mostly clean. Mostly quiet. Area on the way was sketchy. Didn't seem like a good part of town. Lady at the front desk was helpful. However, she seemed to be struggling with drug withdrawal. Sketchy people in the parking lot. Was worried something would happen to my car. My biggest complaint is the bed. Found hair that wasn't ours on the sheets. Didn't feel like bothering the front desk about a refund, so I decided to sleep in it. Itching all night and the next day. I suspect it was bed bugs.

Location was in sketchy area, which would have been ok, but the building didn’t seem cared for and the room was really dumpy. Only 3 towels provided. Pillows were lumpy. Bedding was funky. Didn’t feel like our vehicle was secure in parking lot. Did not enjoy our stay.

• Anonymous (2/5): it wasn’t very good - it was nice at first unfortunately i had gotten a room that almost had a lot of accessories that were either broken somehow or just wouldn’t work for anything reason at all. the jacuzzi had all these options/ buttons that were there but did absolutely anything.. the hair dryer didn’t work at all and it was for some reason melted from the tip ok it. the lamp on my side of the bed was broken it didn’t have a switch to turn on or off. it was nice at first unfortunately i had gotten a room that almost had a lot of accessories that were either broken somehow or just wouldn’t work for anything reason at all. the jacuzzi had all these options/ buttons that were there but did absolutely anything.. the hair dryer didn’t work at all and it was for some reason melted from the tip ok it. the lamp on my side of the bed was broken it didn’t have a switch to turn on or off.

• Rekha (6/5): OK for a stop over - Its fine for a night or two and that's saying a lot. Room was fine and clean beds. Loo was OK too. the AC dripped and they couldnt fix it and added rolls of towels to stop the spread. Great potential if they can uprade it a bit and clean up the parking lot of garbage and trash cans. Friendly staff though and tried to help as best. Metro station is 6 blocks away and that is good In a very run down locale of LA , looks dangerous a bit too with drunks' and others loitering around the entrance area. Garbage everywhere

• Yuri (4/5): - Needs to improve on cleanliness. The front desk clerk was very nice and very understending of my needs. I thank him for it, but the owner of this place needs to take better care of this place. Dirty towels, dirty room, no blanket just a very thin bead spread, A/C was not working properly, chairs inside the room had stains all over. Unfortunately my particular room was very dirty, hopefully it was the only one.

• Jacqueline (8/5): - Travel Inn is a no-frills, yet clean and comfortable, place to stay near Downtown Los Angeles. It is located near freeways and transportation, as well as fast-food, Food 4 Less, and more.
• Linda (10/5): Nice stay - Good place to come and sleep at. Neighborhood looks sketchy especially at night but overall is calm, didnt have any problems. Good location from places we visited and had a great guatemalan/mexican restaurant right around the corner to walk to, called Quezaltenango. Room was cleaned every morning and towels replaced but i always bring my own. Good customer service

Worse place I have ever stayed - Horrible place for these reasons: -Dirty, lots of mold in the bathroom, run down, and outdated - Bad attitude from manager -Bad area in the city and bad crowd in the hotel and around the place (homeless living nearby) - Very noisy (traffic of nearby streets, neighborhood, and other hotel guests) - For the same price, I have been in much better hotels I truly advise to avoid this place

• LesRoyal (8/5): Budget hotel in budget area. - We booked three nights in this hotel which is fairly close to MacArthur Park and to be fair the rooms were clean and comfortable, serviced every day, and had free parking. Unfortunately it is not in the most salubrious area. Our initial impression left us wondering if it was safe to go out, however we were never bothered by anyone and we certainly saw a different side of Los Angeles.
