- Chuck (9/5): - The room was clean, overall the hotel was clean. Staff was ok. Changed the breakfast. No longer do you get free water park passes ( although it says it on the website). Was told you needed to pay a $21 resort fee to get the Waterpark passes.
- petermJ2356ZH (8/5): Good family hotel in Wisconsin Dells - The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable and the pool with a separate pool for toddlers was very nice. The included breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful.
- R742GXlarryf (10/5): Awesome motel - Great motel staff is more than helpful
- jarodb714 (10/5): ***ALWAYS an EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE with TRAVIS and his STAFF!!!*** - Travis and his staff are amazing people who deal with inconveniences in such a professional way each and every time. They are always very friendly and will do whatever it takes to make the guests have an amazing experience! The whole atmosphere of our stay at AmericaInn in WI Dells is ALWAYS fantastic. And the breakfast is top notch every morning! THANK YOU, TRAVIS, and TEAM!

- Jennifer (3/5): - The location was nice off the beaten path. The bed was very uncomfortable. The bed squeaked everytime you moved on it. Bed was too high off the ground. Fridge was not cold at all. No conditioner in the shower bottle. WiFi didn't work.
- andrewtU3771NX (10/5): Great budget hotel in the Dells - Entire property was very clean. Staff are helpful. Pool area was great for a young family. Rooms were a bit small, but they were clean, comfortable and quiet.
- Kendelle (9/5): -
- Mia (6/5): Decent - Was in a convenient location Still when booking it shows FREE Noah’s ark tickets and FREE Chula Vista but when we got there I was told they were $20 each. I had even called before hand to ask about the tickets to make sure they were included and I was told yes. Only reason I agreed to booking this place but was lied to about the tickets being included which was actually kind of sad

- G1869KZbobw (10/5): Great experience - This hotel was great. Very friendly n accommodating reception (2 guys who were so friendly n always smiling) I was impressed with the cleanliness non-clutter of Lobby n breakfast area.
- 42suzit (8/5): We’d come again - Great spacious hotel. 2- pools complete with a basketball hoop and jucuzzi. The arcade, breakfast, and jacuzzi room were just what the baseball team needed. The equipment in the rooms could use an update, but safe area and easy to find. We’d stay again
- 896basial (2/5): Ice Cold Pool - Get an Itemized receipt - Started off great. Read through the website and said they had a kiddie pool, heated swim pool, and hot tub, free breakfast and alongside being able to pay to go to Chula Vista (so no internal resort fee to stay at AmericInn, WI but a $21 resort fee for the nights you go to Chula Vista. If you do not go, then no extra fee after booking). We went because we entered on the search 2 adult and 2 kids, heated pool and breakfast.
When we arrived, the main manager said we are forced to pay for 2 additional guests and if we wanted the Chula Vista water park access, we had to pay a resort fee for ALL the nights we were staying even though we only were only able to go for 1 night. We had tired kids and packed car, so we paid. I texted "Penny" from Priceline and she said "our confirmation was for 2 adults and 2 kids. To get an itemized receipt when we left and we can take it up with our credit card after we check out." We did not want to ruin the trip, so we paid and moved on.
Room was not great, but okay, I guess fine for a 2-star hotel. Sheets were wrinkled and had a yellow stain on them - always creepy when wrinkled sheets - makes you think they did not change them. I always bring our own stuff and made things work and asked for fresh sheets. A pain but I was ready for this.
Kids super excited for the pool, as was I, due to the hot tub and HEATED POOL which is stated ALL OVER THEIR WEBSITE! Their website really emphasis a heated pool.
Hot tub was a bit gross - chunks of hair but by the filter, so it was trying to clean itself, and the main pool was ICE COLD. Not even a bit warm but ice cold.
Next day, get up for the HOT breakfast and arrive at 9:15am and everything is almost put away! What is going on? 3 pieces of over cooked ham left and some scrambled eggs. I at least jumped to grab some of the "fresh juice" and started to make waffles for the kids even though they were trying to put things away. As they see about 8 Guests show up after us, you would think they would stop cleaning frantically around us and just let us enjoy eating what is left but they did not. I heard the main manager say nothing is left, breakfast is closed and gave us look when we were making waffles, but we paid for "free breakfast" in our hotel stay, we are going to have breakfast! Otherwise I would have packed and been prepared. Also, a cheap trick thing is the small 8 oz cups to make your coffee. They cups were so small that the holders that they had for cups and lids was messy because the cups were too small for the clearly 12-16 oz cup holders they had. So every time we wanted a coffee we would have to make at least 2 to suffice the coffee need when you are starving and dealing with a cold pool lol
Second morning we went about 5 minutes earlier - and this time 9:10AM everything is completely put away! can't even make the waffles, juice was gone, NOTHING to eat. Stop advertising on your corporate website that you have all these great amenities that you do not actually have.
Best part, we go to check out and ask for the itemized receipt. He unhappily gives it to me and immediately grabs a "call" as I sit and go through the receipt, takes pictures and wait for him to get off the call. The receipt he gave me did not have the charge for the "extra guests" and looked more like the Priceline itemized receipt (which showed 1 resort fee of $21, the 2-night stay price, and the taxes and fees).
Finally, manager gets off phone and I ask, I need the itemized receipt that showed him charging me for 2 extra guests and Chula Vista fees for the water park. He GRABS the paper from me crumbles it up (even though I took a picture of it) and says oops sorry that was what Priceline charged, let me get you the right receipt. This one shows the $64 for the 2 extra Guests (KIDS mind you, 7 and 3), and two charges of $21 resort fee and taxes.
So, all in all if I did not check I would have been charged 3 times for a resort fee (we only stayed 2 nights and used the water park once)?! EVERYONE GET YOUR ITEMIZED RECEIPTS and call your vendor to ensure you are not being overcharged. Is this AmericInn or Priceline/Booking/Hotels.com --- Look into this!
We did call and I sent in pictures of both receipts, and I did get a refund. But AmericInn you should refund everyone for the LIES of not having a free Breakfast if you close it before end time and for NOT having a heated Pool.
Please do better and stop the false advertising. Guests GET YOUR ITEMIZED RECEIPTS!
- U9867GVrj (10/5): Calm atmosphere & Waterpark passes - Had a GREAT experience. Facility was clean, quiet & welcoming with a great selection of breakfast. Friendly guests and staff. Relaxing lounge. Parking lot is very close to main entrance, 5 minute drive to downtown, 10-15min drive to water park. I’ve always stayed at resorts, but now I find just behind the main boulevards of hotels, you find a less crowded, quiet,
calming community with hotels and businesses at safe walking distance. From each other. This hotel offers day passes to Chula Vista and/or Noah’s Ark water park at fraction of cost. I’d recommend you call hotel for reservations, that way you catch any specials. It’s worth staying here than paying more at waterpark resorts, dealing with walking long distances from your room to the pool and searching for parking. Definitely will return.

- 749lynl (10/5): A Great, fun and clean place to stay - my 3 grandsons and I love the AmericInn in Wisconsin Dells. We stay here 2 to 3 times a year. The rooms are nice, we always get a balcony room on the wooded side, so beautiful. The pool, hot tub and kiddie pool are always clean. The free breakfast is nice too, many hot items as well as cereal, toast & bagels.
But, the BEST part of staying here is Travis! He is always so cheerful, friendly, helpful and accommodating. My grandsons love him and greatly look forward to visiting with him every time we stay. Travis is amazing!
- Amy (3/5): Probably won’t come back. - Like the location. Room had blood stains on blanket. Bathroom floor was gross. Neighbors were incredibly rude and loud late into the night on Friday night.
- Stephanie (8/5): We had a wonderful time. They called the day of and asked if we could be moved to a king room with balcony. Loved the vi - The pool. Close to everything. NA
- Weadley (10/5): -
- alvin (2/5): We really like this hotel the first time we stayed here over two months ago now I’m not sure if I ever book here again I - Location Our room toilet kept leaking and also the sink kept leaking in our bathroom all over the floor and we was forced to stay in the same room the whole vacation because the rest of the hotel was very booked
- Woodworth (7/5): -
- Kaden (10/5): - Clean and well kept, the room surpassed expectations. Nothing at all
- W288WZangelae (6/5): Being accommodating for my children and nice service! - Overall the hospitality was great! However the breakfast needs improvement. The ham was a bad choice.
- Gregory (7/5): - There were no housekeepers to clean the room for 3 days. Out of soap 🧼 for shower 🚿... hash potatoes for breakfast, the hash potatoes were too dry, no tastefully. Ham were dry.
- Brody (5/5): - Staff was friendly but hard to find. There was a youth, grade school wrestling team throughout the hotel and the kids were running all around the hotel, even late into the night. The staff was hard to find to complain and none of the kids adults said anything. The pool was non existent for us Friday night due to the amount of kids in there. It made for a bad experience for us.
- L5114HGstuarta (10/5): Quick and Quiet - A quick check-in for nice, quiet accommodations.
- jennyjF1852TN (2/5): Disappointing Stay from Start to Finish - When checking in at AmericInn by Wyndham in the Dells, there was an immediate push for a timeshare presentation, which felt tacky and inappropriate. The condition of the room was equally disappointing. It was visibly dirty, we found broken toy pieces on the floor, something that should have been caught during even the most basic cleaning. The bathroom was worse, with a strong odor suggesting it hadn't been properly cleaned in weeks. To make matters more frustrating, the toilet rocked back and forth when used, which is simply unacceptable maintenance. Breakfast was another letdown. The offerings were embarrassingly minimal, waffles, cereal, a few apples, and three pieces of bread to toast. Overall, the experience felt neglected and poorly managed. I would strongly reconsider staying here.
- April (5/5): This place is a scam! - I like how the hotel was laid out and smelled nice. I liked the little casino. They do not give you passes for Chula Vista or Noah's Ark. When you ask the staff about the passes offered, they say oh no you have to do a 120 minute time share in order to get that. There was no body wash in the shower.
- Cortney (10/5): I would recommend this place over Best Western across the street.its much nicer, cleaner, and no long lines at breakfast - The property is located between mt. Olympus and downtown Dells. The room was updated and new. Everything was in new condition. The hallways were quiet. No concerns. Everything was nice.
- Christina (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and a little relaxation in the pool and hot tub were a nice retreat from crazy, busy life. Thank you. Breakfast was a little over cooked and oatmeal would've been a great option to add.
- Matthew (7/5): Good - Overall great experience Pressure
- joshsI9539CF (10/5): Birthday family vacation - Always a great experience and Travis deserves allot of recognition being a manager here. We loved our stay
- Kyle (4/5): Just an FYI for winter - The bar, breakfast and facilities open for adults till midnight. I was on the 2nd floor and in my room, My friend and I couldn't breathe in there and got sick from it being so dry. I'm not sure if they didn't change the filter or there is mold.
- Jose (10/5): -
- Y1689UGhannahk (10/5): Hannah and Robert's stay - The staff were very nice. Thank you destiny for your help and kindness. The pill room is very nice with a bubbling Jacuzzi.
- Pioneer28388243368 (10/5): Best resort in Wisconsin Dells area. - My stay was an undeniable experience from start to finish. Clean rooms great smelling lobby area.
- Ramsey (8/5): -
- Michael (8/5): - My grandson and I love coming here. He loves playing pool and playing darts! Also, your hot tub is very clean. Which is important to me. Bed and pillows are always very comfortable. The only complaint I have is right on your first page. It states free water park passes. But they are not free!! The used to be.But now you get charged a resort fee.If you use them!!! You shouldn't be allowed to put on the front page of your site. That they are free because they are not. It's misleading information!!! You should have to put reduced price.Water park passes!!!
- Cassie (9/5): -
- dawndF2402TG (10/5): Clean rooms. - We were part of a large group and we did enjoy our stay. The room was clean. Staff were accommodating and available for questions and assistance., We rented the meeting room for the entire weekend and were able to utilize it though out our stay. Per our personal preferences we did not use the pool or hot tub.
- Troy (5/5): -
- Brothers (9/5): Great stay! - The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Pool was heated.
- Ron (10/5): -
- Lanisia (10/5): -
- Campbell (8/5): - Scenic view from balcony
- Mia (8/5): -
- Kyle (10/5): - Gorgeous location, cold city haha. Great place to relax and spend time at the pool.
- Julie (10/5): -
- Daniel (3/5): Severely overpriced for the quality you receive. - Subpar. Worst eggs and sausage I've ever had at a hotel. Fitness area machines were broken. Pool was disgusting and full of bugs. Lights in the room were burnt out. At $300 a night I expected a much better showing from the hotel.
- Xania (10/5): Great stay always - Breakfast, the pool, the water park! Really great value. We will be back.
- pete (10/5): - I enjoyed Noah’s Ark
- Carter (10/5): - Everyone and everything was great
- Sharon (10/5): - The amenities & amazing staff Nothing I loved everything!
- Lisa (3/5): I do not plan on staying at an Americ Inn again. - There was nothing I liked about this Americ Inn. The Americ Inn Front Desk Staff were rude and would not assist when asked about the television. The breakfast area was too crowded, so we went out to eat instead of staying there.
- Ruben (7/5): - Booking did not pay water park fees to hotel which i paid to booking . Com. I had to pay additional fees at hotel I’m expecting a $69 per room refund from booking.com
- Antonio (5/5): -
- Anthony (5/5): -
- Deborah (10/5): -
- Tammy (5/5): It was ok. - Breakfast was decent. Rotated every other day. Hot tub in our room was great. Always had hot water for it. The pool area was bad. The pool was cold and it's shallow. Deep end is only 3 11. The hot tub was really hot.
- Kenneth (8/5): -
- Tarcia (8/5): -
- Jessica (4/5): - The pool and hot tub was nice Breakfast wasn't very good. Whoever was preparing it over cooked or under cooked things. The breads were moldy. The front desk staff weren't up to par
- Briggs (10/5): -
- Nataliia (10/5): -
- Renata (1/5): I don't want to come back here because of the staff and their failure to perform their duties. The - The breakfast was cold, and there wasn't enough food. No one was replenishing the food, the staff are lazy and don't perform their duties at all. All the staff in the lobby, both on the day and evening shifts, should be fired; they don't perform their duties at all. There are no towels at the pool, and when you ask for them, they make faces and make you wait because they're in no hurry. At breakfast, nobody is supervising or replenishing the food. They wait until 4 PM to do check-in, and won't even do it five minutes earlier.
- T4894JNamyd (2/5): False Advertising – Extremely Disappointing Stay - We chose this hotel specifically because both their website and Priceline stated that our stay included passes to the Chula Vista indoor waterpark. Because of that promise, we paid nearly double what other hotels in the area were charging. Upon check-in, we were told that waterpark passes were NOT included. To make matters worse, the hotel pool was also not operating during our stay. This is false advertising, plain and simple. Had we known passes were not included, we would have stayed elsewhere for significantly less money—and at a hotel that at least had a working pool.
Guest services was completely unhelpful and showed little concern or ownership of the issue. No effort was made to resolve the situation or acknowledge the misleading advertising. We feel misled and extremely disappointed. I would strongly caution anyone booking here to verify everything in writing before paying—especially if you’re choosing this hotel because of waterpark access.
- alvin (8/5): We love it so much that we recommend that’s one over some of the bigger hotels in the area just because the fat we are a - I love how at a certain time the kids are not allowed back in the pool for the adults to enjoy and the bar area was definitely a plus for me and the wife to drink and play pool I feel like the breakfast needs to be a lot better and when I did check into my room, I did do a bad check and found a old dirty sock under my mattress. we are Youtubers and did film and gave honest opinions, but love the hotel. We definitely would be staying there again in the future. The staff was very friendly.
- Debbyk38 (2/5): Worst Christmas present I ever gave my husband. - Pool, hot tub and all exercise equipment was broken the whole time we were there.
Breakfast was cold one day and or burned the next.
- petesV9750BV (2/5): Bad room UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER. - We Booked more than one room, one couple was a young couple with a young child.when they got there the toilet was plugged. When we came back later they said it was fixed. It didn't work. They tried a 2nd time and The manager said it is fixed. They flushed it while the manager stood there, it didn't flush. The couple asked for a different room, they said no, all booked, the young couple said that there is a room because one couple got sick and didn't come. The manager made it difficult, after some time finally at 10pm they got that room. They had toilet water all over the floor and the one guy working on the toilet at one point was cussing, wile there was a little kid in the room. The manager was loud, rude, and very disrespectful, you couldn't talk to him, he wouldn't listen. When we talked to him he was always saying it different then what it really was. They shouldn't put young people in those positions when they don't have the skills to do a good job. Our experience THE WORST EVER....
- Ryan Zo (8/5): Great value for the price - Everything The boiler got broken so we couldn't use the pool or the spa.

- Cjcammarata (10/5): Great hotel - This is my favorite hotel in the dells, decent location, nice pool with a hot tub. The breakfast is beyond yummy. The staff is always amazing. The incredibly pushy timeshare salesman who would not take no for an answer, he kept pushing and pushing until we felt like we had no choice or everytime we approached the front desk we would be bothered by him.

- Noah (8/5): Great value! - I loved how comfortable the bed was. I loved the jet tub I had and all of the soaps included were great. The TV was nice. I didn't love the breakfast, I tasted old. The TV only had cable. My key card stopped working about halfway though the stay which was inconvenient.
- Courtney (1/5): Fire alarm pulled - The breakfast was ok. Pool was good. Room was clean and nice. Fire alarm pulled at midnight. Was unsure what was going on. Didn't sleep the rest of the night. So wasnt restful at all. Staff couldn't tell us anything about the issue.

- valeriadF8530LB (6/5): Just ok - The stay was just okay. The room seemed dated and the bathroom was very small, which was a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was included but ended quite early at 9 AM, which was inconvenient. When checking out, our keys stopped working at 10 AM even though checkout wasn’t until 11, which caused some frustration. Overall, an average experience with some notable drawbacks.
