- Carr (1/5): Weakest overnight stay on the Cape - Location was fine At 9:30 in the evening, we had retired and were anticipating quiet rest. Gymnastic running, jumping and stomping started in the room above. Us. We were momentarily speechless assuming parental guidance would quell the noise. It didn’t and went on for 30 more minutes. I called the front desk, they informed me that there was no guests in the room above us. Assuring them that we were positive in our assessments, they replied they would investigate. The noise continued once again and finally subsided. Our stay was very disappointing because our initial reservation was in your sister property. The total absence of other reservation’s prompted a call to us. The solution on your part was to move us to the sister ( waterfront property). We agreed to accept the transfer. The sales pitch was we were receiving an upgraded relocation. This certainly was not our experience. Thank you, Cameron Carr

- Allison (10/5): - Our family of 4 was here at the end of the summer for one night. The room was immaculate and roomy. It’s is a quiet area with a beach at the end of the road. The night that we were there everyone seemed quiet and in the room by 8pm. There was nothing else to do even though they have a fire pit and lawn games. With a tween and teen it would have been nice to have an evening activity even if it was just quiet. The restaurant on site was very convenient but we only had breakfast.

The staff at breakfast were very lively though and doing their best. Our pathway was blocked by the people next door to us leaving their beach things across the path.

Not your typical free breakfast, definitely elevated. Entire stay was seamless. Would definitely return!

We had access to our local beach at the end of a short street that we could drive and park or walk with a cute little wagon with two beach chairs, towel and a beach umbrella! What a great idea. We had a fireplace and a beautifully comfortable bed in our room and a front porch to have a cocktail at night. A restaurant, firepit, outdoor games and a good size pool completed our stay. We LOVED it! Will we go back again? Yes, yes and yes!

- Alison (10/5): Charming inn on the cape - This place is charming with friendly staff. Catherine was amazing at check in and the hydrangeas were still in bloom. It's right by the beach as well. The room was small but very clean and the only thing that wasn't good was that our refrigerator wasn't working so all the drinks we bought were hot. I would stay there again!

Likely to return for a longer stay but will immediately deal with any bed mattress support issues. Mattresses need to be rotated more often. The mattress on bed I slept in was high & depressed on side nearest nightstand. I believe if mattress was rotated often this issue could be resolved but may need to be replaced.

Location near the beach was exceptional. Walk-about options were great! The bathroom area needed about 5 or so hooks. Nothing fancy just somewhere to land towels, clothes and other things. As wedding guests, our welcome bag from the bride was a day late! Walls were not nearly soundproof enough. I could hear TVs and conversations too easily. Cleaning staff entered our room while we were still inside!

- Diane (9/5): For one night, it was perfect. - This resort is beautiful and the location is at the beach making the surrounding area around the resort outstanding. The staff we did encounter were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean and if it were warmer we would have loved to use our balcony. We were on the first floor and we had someone above us. The people above us seemed to stomp around. At 2am, it sounded like someone was in our room because of the noise upstairs. Needless to say, our sleep was interrupted.

- EUGENIA (4/5): - No customer service. Rooms are older and small. The breakfast consisted of a few mini muffins. I had prepaid for 2 nights, which in retrospect was a mistake. There was absolutely nothing to do on the island. The second night we were the only ones there, and I inquired if they were preparing to close for the season, and they said yes. The morning we left the office was closed, and we had to leave our room key(yes it was a real key) in their mailbox. Would never stay in this property again!

- Janet (6/5): Pelham on Earle not the resort! - The hotel is located one block from the beach. There is not a view - I think one reviewer incorrectly posted that there was a view and a restaurant. There is neither. We appreciated the coffee and mini muffins in the morning but didn’t appreciate the location. However it was very quiet and well kept.

Called management the next morning and they were overly considerate and apologetic. Got my night reimbursed and they expressed sorrow for our experience. I like that. Will definitely recommend. - Michael (9/5): Very nice! - Good location down the road from a beach, however the weather did not cooperate. The property itself was great! Nice little restaurant that offered free coffee and muffins in the morning, would have been nice if they had more of a breakfast to at least offer. We did not eat there but it looked nice, Did have a nightcap one night very pleasant staff. Overall a great place to stay. Bathroom sink area small, so typical of Cape motels, and the air conditioner is right next to the sink, had to shut it off while washing or shaving. The tub/shower floor was slippery with no grab handles had to be very careful while taking a shower.

- Kelly (10/5): - Pelham on Earle was a beautiful place to stay. The room was immaculate and quiet. The bathroom was on the small size but adequate. We only ate dinner at the on-site restaurant one night and the food was delicious. The one thing that Pelham needs is a breakfast option; luckily there are restaurants in close proximity. There are coffee makers in the room however the “coffee whitener” was a poor substitute for real cream or half and half. We would definitely recommend staying at Pelham; everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

Loved that you could also go to sister resorts. Complimentary coffee and muffins in the morning was a nice touch. Only areas of improvement would be to add room darkening shades and keep the bar and fire pit open past 9 pm.

- George (10/5): The most perfect Cape experience. - This place is the definition of a hidden gem. We had the MOST INCREDIBLE experience at Pelham on Earle! It truly exceeded every expectation. The building is beautiful and clean, the staff friendly, and the additional amenities were outstanding (beautiful pool, extra beach chairs/towels/wagons, and an AMAZING RESTAURANT). Not to mention it is located on a lovely street RIGHT AT THE BEACH! Plus you get access to their larger resort, Pelham House. This place is a must if you are looking for an affordable option on the Cape.

- David (10/5): - Absolutely Perfect for us. I almost don't want to tell anyone about it or it will become too popular and I won't be able to book a room anymore! Joined with their waterfront resort down the road, it makes for the perfect situation. The beach is truly a 2 minuite walk away, the pool is 10 seconds from your door, as is a lovely restaurant and bar, and all amenities for friends, families, and lovers. I'm booking our next stay there immediately.

Spacious rooms with access to the courtyard with a nice pool/fire pit. They offered free beach chairs to take on a very short walk to the beach. Free shuttle (5 min ride) to sister hotel with private beach access with beach chairs and umbrellas, pool access and 3 restaurant options. 100000/10 recommend!

Lights outside the doors did not go off, so it was very bright in the rooms. The coffee and muffins they provided in the am were so tiny, and once they ran out they were gone. - Aroane (8/5): Great for a weekend and small party. - Beautiful.and well maintained, super clean and so close to the beach (2 mn walk). Parking spot behind the room was convenient. The pool is clean and in the center of the building that forms a U. The bar/restaurant seemed great but the only night we had decided to eat there, it was closed (Sunday) so I can't say if it's good. Quiet room, clean and somewhat comfy if you are only 2 people (we were 3, even 4 one night) There's a fridge, coffee machine and microwave, both clean and working. I would have preferred they serve breakfast at the restaurant as this is the only part that was not practical. Finding a good place to have breakfast at a table was a challenge (everything was always full in the towns around) and take-out wasn't really convenient since we had no table in the room or around the pool/on property.a'd when it's raining, you kind of don't know where to go. In the room, we were a little cramped with the 2 double beds (that were ok for me but too soft for my husband) and nowhere else to sit. Our luggage and backpacks took the rest of the space with nowhere to store them (underneath the bed isn't possible). There is a chest of drawers to put your clothes and a few hangers but not much room for anything else. The bathroom is small with enough room for a shower and a toilet. The sink is outside (in the room/ with a cabinet underneath but no space for your toiletries on the side or on top. Nowhere to hang your beach towels either. The A/C was not the best and stopped working in the middle of our last night. We made it work again but ended up all being awake as it was super hot in the room. There are no blinds (just shutters) and you can't get the room really dark, especially as the light is always on on the porch surrounding the building.
- Anonymous (9/5): a hidden gem. cute facility in a cute town with very easy access to the beach. definitely will be back. - clean, convenient. pool onsite and very close to the beach. easy walk from parking lot to any room on premises. blinders (not curtains) on room windows which let a bit too much light in the room while sleeping at night.

- Cheryl (9/5): Everything we needed only a shame we couldnt stay longer as the beach and pool so inviting - Very friendly staff and helpful, room and dining area spotless and pool area very well maintained, as we arrived early in the season the final maintenance was being finished. We had not booked breakfast in advance and there wasnt breakfast available on site, but, we were directed to a sister property, we found a family run restaurant less than a mile away which was excellent so all was well.
