Guest Reviews
- Alexis (10/5): Great! - Had a pipe break, but the service man Tito was AMAZING. He got us switched into a new cottage. 10/10 would recommend and I think hotels.com should add all the encore lodging across the country to the platform!
- Jaime (8/5): - The staff was friendly. The property was clean and maintained. We could pull our car right up to the cabin and didn't have to walk in the dark. We even had a park light with out door furniture.
- Martha (8/5): - We had a great family weekend. We loved the experience staying there 🙂🙂
- Stephanie (10/5): Love this cute little cottage - Loved this little cottage! The location of Sherwood Forest is perfect. CVS, Aldi, Krispy Kream all within walking distance. The campground itself is on the older side but very clean. We were not there a whole lot because we were watching my neice play @ ESPN Wide World of Sports for the weekend. My husband did have to sit and work on Friday and was able to go to the cafe and use the wi-fi with no issues to send reports. Would love to come back and enjoy some time on the porch. Everything provided, towels, linens, kitchen utensils, even some coffee! Love having a kitchen, washer & dryer when we are away from home. Bed was comfy too!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice and peaceful, great community
- Cindy (10/5): Excellent response time from front office. - Immediate front office response when we needed new chairs for deck and new battery for smoke detector. Brought additional linens because cottage did not have washer and dryer.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Great area, reasonable access, poor on service - Customer service is not a priority, either in person or via phone. Unit was clean, but had broken blinds and cabinet doors, especially the one in the bathroom only one hinge was holding it on. Both interactions, arrival and departure was fair to poor. Arrived at stated check in time, told to go back to front gate to get my paperwork, again arrived before office was closed, and my paperwork was at the guard gate! I can see why most RV reviews are fair ratings. I would rent the cottage again, if the picture matched what i would actually get. Website shows cottages with porches, which they have, I just wasn't lucky enough to get one of those, I got a side entrance one.
- Stacey (6/5): Will rethink booking here in the future... - The stay was the exact place as last year, unfortunately, not a clean, sheets were stained, blinds broken, floor had sand or dirt. Not as nice or as it was last year. Booked with understanding that we needed to bring our 2 small dogs. Immediately after booking, I received an email confirmation indicating NO PETS. As this was a nice place in the past in fact I remember saying immaculate on my last years review, not sure we will return. When I did speak with staff to ensure we were able to get a cabin that accepted pets, I felt like we were bothering them. Felt like this was a completely different place than our experience last year.
- Stacey (10/5): Best experience yet, and will stay there again!!! - We enjoyed staying here, pet friendly and immaculate!!! Lots of amenities. People were great, quiet and set back but a very short drive and you are on the main strips close to everything!!
- Angela (8/5): Have not received security deposit 12 DAYS LATER - We received a phone call the day of the reservation (while we were driving) that we needed to arrive before 5pm so we went directly to the property and arrived at about 3pm (check in isn't till 4) they went ahead and gave us our room. I did not realize that you had to ask for extra bedding for the pull out (we booked for 3, of course we need at least 2 beds)the room was very clean, until the morning when there were sugar ants in the food and bathroom (still if that's the worst then I'm happy)there's a ton to do pool, mini golf, basketball, shuffleboard.... very relaxing very quite. Check out was easy and I got the call within an hour or so that I would be receiving my deposit back within a week or so, STILL DON'T HAVE IT 12 DAYS LATER
- becky (10/5): Perfect accommodations. - We booked 3 cabins for our family vacation. They were able to accommodate us by having all 3 cabins in a row. There was plenty of activities for everyone in our group. The cabins were so close to the Orlando parks that we were actually able to see the Disney fireworks from our cabin. Costs were very reasonable as the hotels in the area were very expensive. Not only is the cost lower than a hotel, you get a whole cabin to yourself. They were clean and appliances were up to date. The staff were very friendly and willing to take the time to explain all the amenities and nearby activities. Upon check in, they had everything ready to go and the whole process took about 5 minutes.
I would definitely recommend this RV resort to anyone looking to visit the Orlando area.
- Doris (10/5): Best keep secret - Love it a great pet friendly place
- Verified traveler (10/5): Peaceful place - We had a wonderful time in this beautiful and peaceful place. You can stay for a week even if you don't go to the theme parks just to relax.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Family Vacation - Nice affordable clean and private.
No free wifi was a little setback.
- Kim (8/5): Great place to stay. - Our stay was great, the only things was that the bedroom was too small.
- Kennith (10/5): Best place to stay I've found in the area! - Clean new homey near everything. Loved this place will definitely stay here again!
- bhavesh (10/5): Nice RV Resort near to All Parks - we enjoyed our five days with full kitchen. Really impressed with how clean and well maintained it was.We loved every minute of our stay at this resort! We plan on becoming yearly visitors. The resort grounds are beautiful and the staff is very helpful
- Rachel (10/5): Close to restaurants and 20 mins to universal - It was amazing! The cottage was spacious and quiet! There's a 24 hour cvs right outside the park. If we go to Orlando again we will be staying here again without a doubt
- H (10/5): Cute Cottage - We arrived after office hours where we were greeted by
Shannon the parks entrance security. Shannon was very nice, friendly and very informative. She waved hello and smiled at all the people arriving.
We enjoyed staying in this cottage it was fully equipped and clean.
Staff was friendly.
- Raylene (10/5): Great Place to stay!!! - My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly. It was close to all the areas that we wanted to visit. The park model was brand new and clean. The price was very reasonable and it was much better than staying at a hotel cost wise.
