Calling out Tara, who greeted us with a smile and happy Mother’s Day while we were getting breakfast. While we were waiting on our ride in the lobby she brought us cold water bottles for the trip! Kudos to Tara for setting the awesome service stage for Fairfield!!

I press the bottom like 5 times and slowly but surely the tv worked. Breakfast could be better but it’s good and lastly but not least Skyler had great customer service attributes/skills. Having 15 years in HR experience and still going Skyler stole the show and daily with greetings! Very approachable and friendly which you need at the front desk.

We had a lovely morning breakfast and got a chance to meet Tara and Yolanda running the breakfast bar. They did an amazing job and made us feel right at home. In the past years Thomas was our familiar face in Breakfast bar for a period of five years in row with our daughters in college. Tara and Yolanda did a great job just as Thomas did when we first came to Methodist Univ. Thank Fairfield Marriott for hiring excellent staff! We will be back! Thank you, Rob and Laurie Ewin
• 390annmarieh (10/5): Great place to stay - The stay here was great. From the front desk to the cleaning team, everyone was great. They had different options for pillows on the beds which is always a plus. Yolanda and Tara at breakfast were so very attentive, they catered to everyone's needs and made sure the counters were stocked and tidy at breakfast. The staff stayed in top of the pool towels to make sure we had enough. We were there during a cheer competition and there were many girls and the staff was very friendly. The bartenders were also very lovely to chat with and attentive.

He had us check in very quickly in the room was extremely clean. The morning breakfast was also amazing. Tara and Yolanda were extremely helpful and answering any questions and the food was really great. it has been so long since I’ve been into a breakfast where they offered something besides cereal and I truly appreciate it and I wish that Marriott would bring something like this back. The room was extremely comfortable and as a short person I especially appreciated that the bed was not so high that I would have difficulty getting in and out of it (unfortunately a common problem these days). The very lovely Anita greeted us at the bar & made us feel so welcome. We ordered delicious chicken quesadillas. Slept well and in the morning Tara and Yolanda greeted us at the buffet which was clean and well organized. These women kept everything clean and items resupplied during the breakfast. Very friendly as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will use again if driving through NC.

• H4124ULpaulb (10/5): Stop by the Fairfield by Marriott in Fayetteville, NC and say hello to Tara and Yolanda - The room was nice but compact and efficient and the bathroom was very very spacious. The hotel was a little off I95 and sat back behind some retail establishments and the parking lot was secure and monitored by security 24 / 7 which you normally dont find. Overall it was very clean throughout as Marriott had recently refurbished and redone the entire hotel. Even the complementary breakfast from 7am to 10am was delicious and adequately provided everything from home made muffins, to an assortment of cereal, to scrambled eggs and sausage and cheese biscuits, to making your own waffles or getting oatmeal, cereal or yogurt to go. Drinks included OJ, cranberry juice, bottled water, and hot beverages like coca, coffee or tea but what made it so enjoyable was the staff - Tara and Yolanda were extremely friendly, kind, personable and made you feel at home. I'd go back and stay just to talk with them again. Thank you for the extra bottled water for my parents and myself for our trip back to NJ - the (3) extra bottles, especially helped quench our thirst during our drive. Unfortunately, we were just passing through and did not have the opportunity to check out the surroundings but overall I would highly recommend this hotel and the staff.

• Candy (10/5): Loved the stay for the most part. - The staff was top notch. From check in to breakfast. Very friendly, chatting it up, but not too much. Front desk at check in, young guy, very polite and great manners. Didn't try to rush anyone at the desk. Nice bar and bartender. Breakfast staff, Tara and Yolanda, were so nice. They kept everything clean well stocked. The room was nicer than any hotel we have stayed in recently. Comfy beds and nice big bathroom. I would stay here again. Our thermostat didn't work well. We tried to turn it down and even off, but it just kept blowing hot air. It was warm! I let the front desk know in the morning. Breakfast offerings were just OK. The ladies were super nice and kept it stocked real well. But the hotel needs to step up its game with some extra offerings. Wet scrambled eggs and meh sausage are just not enough. Maybe some bacon or sausage gravy added would be nice.

The rooms were very spacious , Skyler at check in was very welcoming and we stayed and had a quick breakfast before hitting the road . Tara and Yolanda were very attentive and breakfast was great . Many choices and my sons both love the golden waffles . Coffee was great too .
• 259caitlynw (10/5): Comfy and Convenient - I stopped for a quick overnight on a drive from NJ to FL. I was impressed with this hotel from the moment we entered the lobby, which felt clean and comfortable. Check-in was seamless. Our room was the perfect size with a large bathroom and shower. The breakfast buffet was well stocked. I am vegan and normally expect few options, but was pleasantly surprised to find vegan butter, oat milk, and soy milk. Tara and Yolanda were friendly and helpful and kept the entire breakfast area clean and stocked throughout service.

The rooms were clean and nice. The bathroom was big and spacious with a top notch shower. The staff was great. The morning we left we went to breakfast and met Tara & Yolanda. They were amazing! They were so sweet and very excited for my son when he told them where we were going for his birthday. They were so pleasant to talk to and gave us information about the rest of our trip! My son wants to stop there on way back home so he can tell them about his trip! We may just have to make that happen! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The staff was incredibly hospitable. Specifically we wanted to shout out Tara and Dom, who were incredibly friendly. The hotel was clean, held a great atmosphere, and overall was a great experience. Our room as well was incredibly nice upon our arrival, offering a notable amount of amenities. The hotel itself is in a great location within Fayetteville, being incredibly close to wide variety of quality restaurants, and if you feel like staying in the hotel also offers a free breakfast from 7 - 9. All in all we had a great experience for the holidays, and would highly recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Fayetteville.

I had an issue with my television, he came up and attempted to work on it. When he was unsuccessful he put my family in another room right next door for convenience. After all of that i had to go inconvenience him again and he never once seemed upset. The next morning my family and i went to the complimentary breakfast. It was perhaps the cleanest and broadest spread i have seen. Tara and yolanda kept everything clean and filled for the guest.

The complimentary breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast sandwiches, belgian waffle makers, oatmeal/toppings, an assortment of yogurt, pastries, cereal, juices, milk and coffee, hot teas. Tara’s warm and welcoming presence at breakfast was a highlight and made our visit even better!

• mijayati2023 (10/5): Always a Wonderful Stay - Wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotless and the staff was, without fail, attentive and caring. Sherrie, the bartender, took good care of us after a long journey, and the following day, Tara and Yolanda were cheerful and attentive at breakfast. We travel to Florida several times a year and this is always our halfway stop, coming and going. We will definitely be back!

• enjoyingthed (8/5): Friendly and Helpful Staff - We stayed at this hotel because it was convenient to where we needed to be. Overall the experience was good. Jay at the front desk was pleasant and helpful and kind at every turn. My disappointment was because I called ahead the day before about adjoining rooms. When we arrived, we were told that the person did not block rooms for us, and we were not able to get adjoining rooms. That said, we slept well and headed downstairs for breakfast in the morning. This is where my attitude about this hotel changed. Tara and Ricky were working breakfast. To my understanding, that is not even Ricky's job, yet he was helping because the hotel was extra busy with an event in town. Both Ricky and Tara were friendly and helpful. Ricky had a smile every time I talked with him. Tara went out of her way to help us find gluten free options for the celiac in our party. I told my husband that if we had a business, I would be happy to have Tara working with us. Thank you to Jay, Ricky, and Tara for your excellent customer service.
