Auch die Dame am Telefon, die den Check-in Vorgang erklärt hat, war sehr freundl - Perfekte Lage für einen Zwischenstopp wenn man auf der Durchreise ist. Das System beim Check-in + der Parkplatz direkt neben dem Hotel (Aufzug direkt vom Parkplatz) -sehr ruhige Lage. Da waren Ameisen im Zimmer und Haare im Abfluss von der Dusche.

- André (7/5): Prima locatie om op doorreis naar Kroatie. - Locatie Vreemde ontvangst. Geen e-mail ontvangen hoe je het totaal verlaten gebouw moest binnenkomen. Na alle telefoonnummers gebeld te hebben , eindelijk teruggebeld en zijn we via een buitenlift naar binnengelaten.

- Helge (4/5): Man konnte ausruhen/schlafen. Frühstück war ok. - Gute Lage als Zwischenziel in Richtung Kroatien Zugang sollte über Code geregelt werden. Dieser funktionierte nicht. Mussten von 16:30 bis 20 Uhr warten, bis das Personal nach der Pause zur Spätschicht kam. Telefonisch war niemand erreichbar.

We loved it here! - The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good as were the evening meals (which were also good value for money). The location was 4 minutes walk to the exceptional city museum and also to the wonderful art gallery. What a surprise both of these were for such a small city. Metlika is also a short drive from the beautiful source of the Krupa River, which is a spring, from which there is a 2km walk along the river which takes you to a pre-historic cave (10,000 years ago). I didn't receive instructions for entering until midday on check in day, and as we had no internet after 10am I did not know there were special instructions. However, there was a 24 hour phone number to call on the door of the hotel and the man I spoke to was extremely helpful and guided me into the building without a problem.

Rooms are always spotlessly clean, air conditioning working well for the current heatwave (37c) nice little bar with cold beer. fantastic breakfast. It’s a great place to stay. I have no negative comments

I had a fantastic nights sleep on the very comfortable bed Breakfast was chaotic! 1 girl running the whole restraunt when it appeared to be a full house. The girl was lovely and did her best but when we come down there was very little food left.

- Richard (9/5): Comfortable accommodation in Bela Krajina / White Carniola - I was working in the amazing new Metlika Museum with a colleague. The hotel location is excellent in a lovely traditionally rural area with various opportunities for exploration. We were warmly welcomed with a smile. The hotel is surprisingly modern and well-appointed. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant with delicious local wine. Our rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms exceeded expectation. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. All in all, a very good experience. Thoroughly recommended. PS: The hotel is a short walk from the Metlika Museum, which beautifully presents the local history at great depth. It is one of the best museums we have ever visited anywhere, and is well worth visiting for more than an hour. The only disappointment was the wifi connection in our rooms. Despite carefully following the login instructions, neither of us could make a connection. But the alternative restaurant wifi was working fine.

- Christian (8/5): Trotz Eischränkungen durch Corona prima! - War im Juni wg. Corona einziger Gast. Wurde als Motorradfahrer am Sonntag Abend freundlich aufgenommen. Habe wegen Körpergröße 195 cm unaufgrfordert größeres Zimmer mit Doppelbett bekommen. Restaurant war leider nicht geöffnet. Metlika hat aber einen super Pub im Gewerbegebiet in der Nähe des Supermarktes SPAR und der Tankstelle, Fußweg ca. 500 m. Dort habe ich auf Empfehlung des Hotelenpfangs ausgezeichnet gegessen. Die Stadt hat mir vom Eindruck sehr gefallen.

- G (6/5): Sauberes Hotel in unmöglicher Umgebung - die Lage im Zentrum ist irreführend, da die Umgebung einen verlassenen Eindruck macht. Liegt an einer lauten Straße gegenüber einer Kaschemme, die wohl als Juhendtreff dient. Die Häuser der Umgebung im K u.K-Stil machen einen verlassenen Eindruck, das Hotel ist neuwertig und gut ausgestattet, der Service freundlich, die Küche ist sehr durchwachsen, es wurde ein Gericht vom Grill bestellt, das in Ordnung war, ein bestellter "Zwiebelrostbraten" war eine Katastrophe , ebenso das Frühstück, das an sozialistische Zeiten erinnerte.
- Paul (10/5): Empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt in lieblicher Landscha - Auf der Durchreise Richtung Meer ein super Zwischenstopp für die Familie. Inzwischen haben wir 2 Mal übernachtet. Bei geringer Auslastung (unter der Woche) haben wir das Frühstück an den Tisch erhalten. Super professioneller Service, alles wie beschrieben.
