Guest Reviews
- Salomone (5/5): -
- Peter (7/5): Adequate value - It's location Room was musty and we had a moth flying around. Some noise from room above
- Charlotte (8/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): Perfect - Very welcoming place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. I didn’t deal with much staff but a gentlemen was very helpful and genuinely nice. Food or breakfast.
- Taliaferro (8/5): Enjoyable and comfortable - Great setting with a comfortable and spacious room. Location was key as we were visiting family. We were there in the winter and it seems more like a summer place. The hallway was cold the restaurant was closed.
- John (7/5): -
- Deborah (8/5): Wish the price was better - Always looks so good Beds very hard
- Roy (10/5): Kind, gracious innkeepers. Beautiful property. - I booked the wrong night (I booked fri instead of saturday), showed up on the night I needed to stay (saturday) and not only were they kind to me about the mistake, they didn't make me feel bad, put out, or like they were doing me a favor. They simply said "it happens, we've got a great room for you tonight, don't worry about it" and everything was perfect. Wonderful people, wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

- Christina Anson (10/5): - It was a peaceful, clean, quiet stay.
- Michael (4/5): Security -
It was fine, no better given the cost.
However I was shocked that they gave my wife my brother's room key without asking for any ID. He would be checking in late and so we asked if we could get his key. Kindly enough they gave it to her but NEVER confirmed who we were by asking for an ID or any means of identification. Simply not a good practice in my opinion.
- Della (10/5): - Beautiful surroundings, quiet and peaceful. Large rooms, clean, and responsive staff.
- Nathalie (6/5): -
- Rebecca (9/5): Spacious room, comfy bed, quiet setting. - The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The refrigerator was large, which would have been handy for anyone needing that. Nice view outside my window. I was in a room with a shared door and could hear the person in the next room coughing and occasionally talking. It wasn't clear how the shared doors locked, so I was a little nervous about that.
- Carrie (8/5): - Comfortable bed. Not in a convenient location.
- Cristina (10/5): - Clean and comfortable.
- George (10/5): - So restful and calming
- Christine (10/5): -
- Paola (6/5): Ok but very simple considering the amount we paid - Not sure No breakfast available , the inn is literally on a street in the middle of nowhere where
- Sergio (10/5): - Stayed twice with you now great staff nice rooms convenient location. They were good to be with.
- Raymond (10/5): - Spacious rooms, tends to be very quiet, stayed several times

- Balbina (10/5): - The front staff was very professional and pleasant
- Suzanne (10/5): - Retreat like, very quiet with beautiful surroundings!
- Kyle (8/5): Very good -
- Lynn (8/5): - Only place to stay if you’re playing Crumpin Fox CC. Perfect location for the course.
- Terri (8/5): Very good - There was no daily breakfast served. It would have been nice if they had some bagels or english muffins and bananas. Breakfast was only served on the weekends.
- John (10/5): - Quiet
- william (10/5): - Very nice and very responsive staff
- Juan (10/5): - Very clean and well-maintained. Close to highway. Breakfast on weekend. Large room with refrig/freezer, TV/cable, table/chairs, comfortable bed. Close to 2 pizza restaurant, dunkin donuts, country store and dispensary. Very comfortable stay.
- Jan (7/5): Good -
- Aleacia (7/5): It was an average stay - We never got to taste the breakfast because it was 7:30 or later before it was served and we had to be on our way by then Needs to be available by 6:00 am
- Michael (10/5): - This was my second stay here, and all my original comments still enthusiastically stand: clean and comfortable rooms, lovely location, great breakfast (only on weekends), and owners who are clearly invested in the place. I look forward to my next visit!
- Michael (10/5): - The place is a delight. The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast area, gazebo, and the property are gorgeous. In particular, I appreciate the consistent fox-themed decorations :) The owners are friendly and very clearly care about the place. The continental breakfast was great, although note that, at least at the time of this review, it's only served on weekends. That said, the room where breakfast is served does have a microwave and a Keurig machine available. Overall, I enthusiastically enjoyed my time there, and I absolutely would stay again (and did, as I am retroactively writing this review about my first visit :)
- Toomey-doane (8/5): The Inn is easy to get to and has pretty grounds. We loved the Calico cat! - N/A Would have helped if there was an elevator to the second floor.
- Larry (10/5): - Quiet clean hotel with no real amenities, but that can be a good thing.
- Catherine (10/5): - Excellent condition. Great courtyard with beautiful landscaping .Comfortable beds and strong shower. Perfect breakfast we loved the toaster at each table. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again
- Yasmine (10/5): - This is our second stay, and we're very satisfied with the room, the service, the location, and the hotel as a whole. We do wish they did breakfast during the week as well as on weekends, though, as there isn't really anywhere nice close by for a quick breakfast.
- Padma (10/5): - Good stay, the facility could use some updating but the staff is always really friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable
- Suzanne (10/5): Pleasant place to stay in a pretty area - This was a comfortable place to stay in a very pretty area. I couldn't stay for the free breakfast because I had to leave early, but the place was very pleasant!
- Denise (9/5): Superb - Clean.
- John (10/5): Near NMH - Crumpin Fox is a very friendly family run hotel
- Andre (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (4/5): Disappointing -
- Matthew (4/5): Disappointing -
- Proud (9/5): Superb -
- Kathy (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay very much.
- Thomas (10/5): Nice stay at the Inn - Very clean room. Could use some updating. Disappointed that on a holiday trip season they did not have breakfast.
- Gervais (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (3/5): Clean but creepy. - The room was clean and it was close to our destination. The bakery nearby in the local town was amazing. I would however not stay here again. The person who greeted was gruff and not welcoming. The morning we checked out we rang the bell and no-one came. Honestly the whole hotel was creepy and deserted. We were the only ones there other than one truck later that night that arrived. It took a full 20 minutes for the water to turn from freezing to warm. It presented as a quaint inn online and was clean but not welcoming. I would not have been comfortable if I was staying alone with our daughter had my husband had not been there.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet. Comfortable. Clean. Great staff!
- Suzanne (4/5): - Needs a renovation. Beds were horrible. VERY soft - like a sponge. Had to put pillows between my husband and me to prevent rolling into each other. Decided not to spend the second night. The place seemed tired.
- Dipti (9/5): Superb -
- Gillian (9/5): Clean and cozy. Good location. - Convent location and charming property.
- Kenneth (8/5): - Near good dining….
- Elise (10/5): A cozy stay in a spacious and clean room. Property is well-maintained! - Beautiful landscaping, quiet setting, and the room was immaculately clean! I am glad that I didn’t have to navigate stairs though some rooms require stairs.
- Charlene (7/5): Okay - Room was clean and totally fine for a basic hotel room. The party downstairs in some room began about 8:30pm and perhaps ended around midnight. It was so loud that we kept the football game on in our room much louder and longer than we would have to try to drown out the sounds from below. Yikes!!
- Adriana (10/5): - This place was such a great find. Beautiful, clean and peaceful, and the staff very pleasant.
- Marilyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tony (10/5): - Good place to stay, nice people.
- Soraya (10/5): - Everything was Excellent. Wonderful Service with the front office staff, extremely friendly.
- David (8/5): - Would have liked some kind of breakdast, especially for tge price.
Area is nice. Great outdoor seating area
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Walter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (10/5): - Unique, well cared for lodging — very sociable arrangement, perfect for golf outings with friends and family. Breakfast room was cheery and tasty.
The inn’s architecture and built in furnishings are perfectly preserved mid-eighties luxury, which I loved. Not every “vintage” inn needs to be colonial or Victorian! I like places with personality and this place had it!
Everything was nice and clean, with fresh flowers and nice touches around the outside. I was a bit of a late arrival, but had a safe and easy check in, as staff had made arrangements for me.
I was well rested and well fed for my band gig the next day!
- Donald (10/5): - Gentle, peaceful, restful location convenient to nearby family and friends.
- Marilyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Garrett (10/5): - great stay... particularly good setup for golfers (no surprise) but my visit to the area was unrelated to golf and my stay was great.
- John (10/5): - The place was quiet and safe. It was well maintained and clean. I enjoyed sitting in the courtyard gazebo at the end of the day. Very relaxing. The staff was superb. The breakfast was simple but adequate. Had a nice time.
- Tacy (10/5): We would return here - Easy to find, just far enough off the road to be quiet. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. They k ew the area for restaurants and attractions and directions. Very restful courtyard. Breakfast only on weekends after the summer season.
- Jianing (9/5): Superb -
- LeaAnne (8/5): - Very nice, comfortable spot.
- Daisy (10/5): - Very nice clean property. Room smelled and looked clean. Nice sitting area to relax. Next to the highway.
- Yves (8/5): Very good -
- Kathryn (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very accommodating. John was very nice, responsive and accommodating. The courtyard was beautiful with gorgeous flowers and plants. You could tell it was very well taken care of. We will stay there again for sure. Kathryn and Ava thank you John.
- Benita (6/5): Pleasant -
- Heather (8/5): Very good - Very well kept, room was comfortable, staff friendly, and breakfast was good. Overall exceeded our expectations and experience with similar hotels. Closer to Amherst College where my daughter goes to school…but obviously that is my problem not yours!
- Gloria (9/5): Nice, clean place to stay and close to things to see and do. - Very restful place, grounds well kept and clean. I didn’t care for the smell of the room freshener used nor could we find where it was to remove it. We did get used to it after awhile but would ask about it next time because we would definitely come back again.
- Liuxin (8/5): Very good -
