Facilities a little dated (AC units a bit weak) and some may find the room layouts a little quirky, though not a major issue for us.

Gfeller (6/5): Fehltritt! - Sehr schöner Park mit grossen Bäumen, 2 Pools. Eine Oase der Ruhe. Dusche gibt zu wenig Wasser, Ablauf schlecht. Toilette auch für mich, 190 cm viel zu hoch. Säge funktioniert nicht. Bett klein, hat trotz vielen Misstönen gehalten. Nach 3 Nächten waren wir gerädert.

Breakfast was good eggs of your choice with toast juice with tea and coffee. Staff were very attentive and polite. Poor lighting in room and bathroom.

Gita (10/5): Lovely tropical retreat - Amazing gardens. Felt like a tropical retreat. The room was comfortable and the location is just perfect in Lovina. Beautiful cooked breakfast every morning. We loved it all. There are two pools although the place was.very quiet whilst we were there. The TV was so tiny!! It didn’t work either. Didn't worry us but might be a problem for some.

Stephen (10/5): The best place in Lovina at an affordable price. - We loved the relaxed hoe feeling of the resort. The lush greenery all around the grounds. The 2 very comfortable pools. The easy walk to the beach and many other Warungs.& Other eaters. There's nothing not to like if you want a relaxing homey feel, this is the place to come. We're heading back for a longer stay in 2027.

Marisa (9/5): A beautiful tropical oasis in a great location - we hope to return soon! - Among the most beautiful hotel grounds I've ever seen, with lush tropical gardens and thoughtful landscaping. The rooms are older-style with Balinese-influenced details, very attractive and - in my opinion - much nicer than a modern-style hotel. Our rooms were upstairs with an interconnecting door (very useful!) and large balconies. The rooms themselves were huge, with high ceilings, and lovely views of the mountains and the garden. Beds were comfortable. Two swimming pools, both lovely and always clean. Pleasant breakfast/restaurant area, and staff were helpful making gluten-free adaptations for my child with coeliac disease. Hotel was lovely and quiet, away from the busy main road but close to everything, and staff were friendly. A bigger range of breakfast options (there are 5) would be good, as well as a larger range of fruit. A couple more lounge chairs needed around the smaller pool, as it was sometimes hard to find a spot there. Fridge in one of our rooms was noisy. All relatively minor concerns though - we absolutely loved the Rambutan.

The grounds were extensive and designed in beautiful Bali style as were the delux rooms, all modern facilities with traditional Bali architecture and interiors. Couldn't improve on the facilities or services.

Thibaut (8/5): Un excellent séjour à Rambutan Cottage - J’ai aimé le charme des logements, leur authenticité, le petit déjeuner qui propose en buffet fruits, jus de fruit café et thé et un plat principal à choisir parmi le menu et que j’ai trouvé copieux. La piscine et les jardins sont magnifiques. Le logement est très bien situé à Lovina, restaurants proches et activités nautiques. Les moustiques il faut prendre l’habitude de laisser le logement complètement fermé, même si les fenêtres ne sont pas complètement étanches, utiliser un spray. Le personne répond aux services demandés mais n’est pas des plus attentionné, chaleureux et avenant.

Jörg (10/5): Eine traumhafter Aufenthalt in der PUTRI Villa - Das Rambutan Hotel ist ein wirkliches Juwel in Lovina. Traditionelle balinesische Gastfreundschaft und ein Flair wie man es von früher von Bali kennt. Hier kann man Bali noch fühlen. Unsere Villa PUTRI, war groß, sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet, wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde wohlgefühlt. Für uns war es ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt. Das gesamte Personal einfach soooo lieb und freundlich, der Service einfach super !!!! hier gibt es nichts, was wir bemängeln könnten

Jürgen (9/5): - Schöne und gepflegte Anlage mit tollen Garten und zwei Pools. Es gibt einen kleinen und einen großen Pool. Das Frühstück ist lecker, Kaffee und Cornflakes kann man sich vom Buffet holen. Direkt in der Anlage gibt es eine Bar und ein Restaurant. Geschäfte und weitere Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Auch zum Strand läuft man nur wenige Minuten. Dort gibt es allerdings keine Liegen und Sonnenschirme. Erst kam das Reinigungspersonal um 8.00 Uhr, dann wurde die Zimmerreinigung an einem Tag vergessen.

Willem (8/5): Fijn verblijf gehad, de kikker in de vijver heeft ‘snachts het hoogste woord helaas ……….. - De rust op het park en de enorme kamer waren heel mooi en ook het restaurant was prima in orde en dus gewoon goed. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, maar dat is eerder regel dan uitzondering op Bali natuurlijk. De doucheruimte was origineel, maar niet bijster ergonomisch ingericht; de douche hing op dwerg hoogte ; mijn vrouw 168cm lang , moest al op knieën douchen, ik ben nog eens 25cm langer…………. Het toilet stond op een verhoging, waarschijnlijk voor de afvoer, maar handig is anders.

Patrice (6/5): Profitez du cadre superbe mais ayez recours aux petits restaurants locaux à proximité pour breakfast - Le cadre est exceptionnel. Les piscines propres et adaptées. La qualité de la chambre, même s’il s’agit d’une chambre classée économique. Le petit déjeuner très moyen car très continentalisé. Première fois sur Bali que l’on ne nous a pas proposé de jus de fruits frais le matin. Le jus servi est manufacturé et avec des arômes artificiels. Peu de choix dans les plats du breakfast.

Kate (10/5): Heerlijk, ik kom zeker terug. - Alsof je op Fantasy Island terecht bent gekomen, vol met vogels en eekhoorntjes. Ook een fijne Spa aanwezig en een schitterende tuin. Alles was prima in order.
Monique (2/5): Voor ons rampzalig maar dat omdat airco niet werkt!!! - Het personeel was heel erg supervriendelijk en behulpzaam en de locatie is perfect de tuin is heel erg mooi… We hebben 4 kamers gehad in de eerste stikte het van de muggen dat was in de andere gelukkig niet maar in geen enkele superieur kamer kamer werkt de airco uiteindelijk hebben we een waaier erbij gekregen en hebben toch nog wat kunnen slapen. Gelukkig was het maar voor 1 nacht….. Maar ook hier moet ik bij zeggen het personeel was heel erg lief en behulpzaam!!! Maar iets wat gewoon aan vervanging toe is kun je niet maken!! Kranen zitten ook los het is echt onderhoud!! Bed was prima en ook schoon niks van te zeggen…

Nina (10/5): Ein Traumort am Meer zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen. - Die Anlage ist ein kleines Tropenparadies zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt, von wo aus man mit Delphinen schwimmen kann. Das Essen war sehr köstlich in toller Atmosphäre. Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick wohl gefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

La chambre était vraiment limite salle de bain tuyau de douche moisi (pourtant je ne suis vraiment pas regardante ni maniaque) pas de moustiquaire pas de chaise enfin rien pour poser les affaires à part une minuscule table . Et nous avions réservé pour aller voir les dauphins on nous dit venez à 5h50 on viendra vous chercher et rien jusqu’à 6h05 heureusement un gardien a pris les choses en main et nous a conduit à pied à la plage … et pour info voir les dauphins correspond à des centaines de bateaux qui font la même chose et quand des dauphins pointent leur nez c’est terrible les bateaux foncent dessus comme des mouches sur du miel(sans compter l’odeur de l’essence qui se dégage…) donc cela était pas une bonne expérience…

Irati (10/5): Wonderful! - This hotel in Lovina is just amazing. The outdoor area is huge and extremely beautiful (in fact, it counts with two swimming pools, each in a different outdoor area). The rooms were also very nice with all the required amenities. I definitely recommend booking this hotel for a stay in Lovina. It is very well located, 5min away from the beach and right next to many restaurants, but no worries, the rooms are well isolated and you can’t hear a thing. They give you a welcome drink and you can also have lunch or dinner at the property.

On check-out they asked if had used the mini bar as there was water missing but we hadn't used any. The fridge had not been stocked up to what was indicated on the minibar sheet.

Melanie (8/5): Ontspannen verblijf op doorreis - Geboekt op de boot van Java naar Bali. Deze last minute boeking was niet helemaal goed doorgekomen maar we kregen een upgrade naar betere kamer omdat de kamers die we hadden geboekt niet meer beschikbaar waren. Relaxte sfeer, fijn ontbijt echt even bijkomen na backpacken op Java. Ruime kamers en prima sanitair. Ontbijt met ruime hoeveelheid fruit. Na uitchecken mochten we nog gebruikmaken van zwembad.

Marie Josee (10/5): Petit paradis paisible et parfaitement bien situé à Lovina - J’ai tout aimé de cet endroit. Les jardins sont vastes et magnifiques comme tout l’environnement. Il y a deux belles piscines bien entretenues. Le restaurant est super et mon petit déjeuner était inclus. Tout le personnel est très gentil, serviable et toujours souriant. La réception avec sa boutique et sa terrasse est très jolie et accueillante. L’hôtel est située tout près de la plage en marchant dans une petite rue remplie de restaurants et boutiques. Les prix à Lovina sont beaucoup plus abordables tant pour l’hébergement que la nourriture et le shopping. Je devais y rester que deux soirs et finalement j’ai prolongé de deux autres soirs. Je devais vraiment repartir sinon j’y serais restée plus longtemps. Lovina et Rambutan sont vraiment des endroits à découvrir où la vie est douce et accueillante. Je vous recommande cet endroit sans aucune hésitation. Je sais maintenant où je vais demeurer quand je reviendrai à Lovina. Merci à toute l’équipe de Rambutan qui fait tout pour rendre votre séjour facile et agréable. Le seul commentaire serait de peut-être de rafraîchir la salle de bain mais tout fonctionnait bien. Bon débit de la douche et d’eau chaude donc tout était quand même bien.

Freya (10/5): Super, aanrader! - Super lokatie, dichtbij het strand. 2 mooie zwembaden in de prachtige tuin. Er is een wasdienst en spa aanwezig tegen betaling. Het personeel was altijd vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was goed en bestond deels uit buffet (fruit, cornflakes en drank) en daarnaast kon je elke ochtend 1 gerecht kiezen uit de menukaart. We waren in de economy kamer en na de tweede nacht was er wat vuiligheid van het plafond op de lavabo gevallen waardoor al onze toiletspullen vuil waren.
