- James (9/5): Recommended - Great spot a short walk either way between the two lakes (didn't even know about Gull Lake when I booked this). Gull Lake is strikingly beautiful, like a postcard pic from Switzerland, and the whole town is walkable from the lodge. The 'room' was beyond a suite, but rather a full one BR apartment, with a living room, couch, big screen TV, full kitchen, separate bedroom, etc. Wasn't expecting that, and don't recall ever having that before, either. I was also able to check-in a bit early which was very helpful and appreciated. No complaints. 10 AM check-out is a bit early (common in eastern Sierra, possibly), but I'm guessing they might have rolled with an 11 AM check-out request.

The shower had plenty of hot water and the fridge and freezer worked great. Many other places I have stayed at in mammoth have lacked one or both of these things. The provided shower products could have been higher quality but were sufficient.

- Madison (1/5): Scam. - For those that are looking at this rental to book, I advise you to be cautious. This business charged my card unauthorized, for something they are continuing to be dishonest about. I requested a policy and pictures and nothing was provided, and yet I was still charged for something there is no proof of. They charge a ridiculous amount of money and still want to scam you out of more. This was the second time this company lacked transparency and accountability. Their booking.com profile reports that they charge upon arrival. They charge 30 days ahead and then tell you to talk to booking.com about it. They have a choice to be honest and they're choosing to be unethical. Stay somewhere else if you care about good business practices, transparency, and owners who know a thing about customer service and honesty.

- Eric (10/5): - This motel always has great accommodations and service. We have been coming here for decades, and they have upgraded the rooms accordingly. I love staying here although there has to be a better way to get our gear up the stairs
- Yumiko (10/5): Great place to stay! - The room is more like apartment- bed room, kitchen and living room. The staff was very helpful to let us stay 2 days in the same room when I booked the 2 days stay separately.

- Marcelo (10/5): Amazing - would definitely stay again - Very spacious, more like a small apartment rather than a room. Fully equipped kitchen with some cooking supplies and real coffee available. The bed was very comfortable, nice spacious bathroom with nice towels and good quality toiletries. Overall a 10+/10 stay. We loved everything!
