Dried urine on toilet, dead bugs on window sills and along baseboards, no security lock from the inside door, SMELLED ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, weeds growing from cracks in parking lot, mildew growing on outside siding. Did not stay longer than an hour; asked for a refund and was denied.

• William (1/5): Very disappointed in the way it was presented and the way it actually was. - Nothing. Was way below expectations after seeing website. I sent you an email with the information about what was wrong. Yard was weeds. Front entry mat was dirty. Ice machine was out of order. Coffee machine in foyer was out of order. Lighting was not good. No hot water first morning. We told them and they said you have to run faucet and shower together for 10 minutes to get hot water. Swimming pool was not open. Was a disappointing stay. Breakfast was toast and cereal.

• Anthony (4/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful, beds were clean. Appearance of the Inn didn't quite match, was a lot more rusted with chipped paint. I would not have much expectation of the pool being available, ice machine was down, don't expect much of anything for breakfast. Room itself had a very dusty/moist smell? It wasn't pleasant to sleep at, and you can definitely hear the trains go by that area.

We had a room in the front of the property and trains were going by on the tracks right across the street all night long, blowing their horns.

• Jelena (1/5): The Amish inn took 3 nights‘ worth payment for 1 night spent in the room with extremely irritating foul odor! - The inn looked okay from outside We booked 3 nights. Inside the inn (in our room) we found old and dirty carpets and bathroom in need of renovation. The worst was the strong foul smell emanating from the carpet and/or upholstery. We barely survived the night and complained next morning. We were NOT offered another room, the only ‚solution‘ the staff suggested was to spray the room with deodorant (!?). Since this evidently did not solve the issue, we checked out. The inn PROMISED TO COME BACK on refunding the 2nd and 3rd nights that we DID NOT spend at the hotel…. 3 days later the inn simply took ALL THREE NIGHTS off our credit card!!! We called again to no avail. We will certainly claim with the credit institution and will definitely never go to that Amish Inn ever again!

Was perfect for attending a concert at Notre Dame. Staff was great. The water pressure in the shower wasn't the greatest but thats nit picking.

Huge weeds outside the front entrance. Very unattractive. Would have changed to another hotel providing I could have gotten one. Historically this would have been a very nice hotel however something has changed. Price and value nowhere close to each other.

Pool was shut down which was a highlight when choosing hotel. No ice available on property. All ice machines were inoperable. No chairs set up in pool area for conversing with friends. We ended up pulling 2 chairs from our 2nd room and gathered to play games in the room. Highly disappointing that there wasn't even a reduction in my room rate ( I had 2 rooms for 2 nights).

No staff on premises between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. poses safety issues. Continental breakfast not available when stated (before our leaving about 7:15) No response from management in 48 hours after notifying them of these issues.

I would never recommend this place. and there was nothing Amish about it. the grounds were nothing but weeds, including the flower beds. they either have no money or don't care about the visitors. see above I liked the bed and the small town. it was clean enough. I liked the buggy in the lobby. that was the only amish thing there. I think they should either go out of business or change the name.

• Jillian (4/5): - I’ll start with the pictures don’t match. They are the same building but the pictures are when it was new. It was fairly clean old but clean. There was no working ice machine in the building. There were wires hanging out of the ceiling where the fire detectors should be.

All drinks were out of order. The air/heat made a noise but no heat or air. The exhaust in the bathroom rattled but no exhaust! I have no words for the amount of disappointment in this property!

• Diana (4/5): Very, very disappointed. - First impression was that the hotel was abandoned. Landscaping and walkways all grown up in weeds. The roof and siding dirty. No cars in the parking lot. Dark. Desk clerks not friendly. We were the first people to check in that day and we asked for our rooms to be close. Could not accommodate. "Had others checking in later that day" What?? Did they all get to reserve a certain room?? I would not let a small child crawl on the carpets. "Breakfast" was toast and cereal...at a hotel named Amish Inn. I expected better. Not one person was in the dining room during breakfast hours. Only plus was the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We paid twice the amount we spent on a Drury Inn the night before. It was fantastic. Spotless. Full buffet supper and a great hot breakfast. Go on down the road people. The Amish Inn was a huge mistake. Last thing, there are train tracks close by and trains woke us up several times.
