• Michel (9/5): - Sehr schönes Hotel in guter Lage und angenehm ruhig. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Badeanlage sowie der SPA- und Wellnessbereich sind sauber, grosszügig gestaltet und bestens betreut. Auch das Restaurant überzeugt mit einer hervorragenden Küche. In diesem Haus fühlt man sich rundum verwöhnt – es fehlt praktisch an nichts. Schade war, dass die E-Ladestationen immer von Verbrennerfahrzeugen blockiert waren und dadurch nicht genutzt werden konnten.

• Aurora (5/5): Ottima struttura ma poco orientata al cliente. - La struttura è indubbiamente molto bella, curata e accogliente; anche la camera era pulita, confortevole e ben arredata, all’altezza delle aspettative. Nota estremamente positiva per la colazione e il ristorante, eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista, con personale molto competente e professionale. Lo consiglio assolutamente anche a chi non soggiorna nell’hotel. L’accesso alla SPA, comprensivo della piscina, è limitato a quattro ore consecutive al giorno, senza possibilità di suddividerle nell’arco della giornata. Considerata la tipologia di esperienza che la struttura intende offrire, risulta piuttosto insolito non poter usufruire almeno della piscina per l’intera durata del soggiorno giornaliero. Un piccolo inconveniente all’arrivo ha riguardato le ciabatte da camera, che non erano pulite. Dopo aver contattato la reception sono state sostituite prontamente, tuttavia avrebbe fatto piacere ricevere delle scuse, piuttosto che sentirsi dire che non era possibile perché appena cambiate (erano ancora nel sacchetto con dei peli sopra). Un episodio invece ha riguardato una richiesta personale: avendo necessità di rientrare in camera prima del massaggio che era stato prenotato a parte, il personale della reception ha insistito affinché utilizzassi il bagno pubblico della SPA, arrivando a chiedermi le motivazioni personali per le quali volessi usufruire del bagno della mia stanza. Un approccio decisamente poco discreto e poco orientato al cliente. La struttura si trova in una località a me non conosciuta, per cui sarebbe stato apprezzabile ricevere qualche suggerimento su attività o escursioni alternative da svolgere nelle ore in cui non era possibile accedere alla SPA. Al contrario, siamo stati noi a scoprire autonomamente dal sito dell’hotel la presenza di un parco bioenergetico, proponendoci da soli soluzioni alternative. Un’ulteriore nota riguarda il rispetto delle regole: se la limitazione delle quattro ore di SPA viene applicata con grande rigidità, lo stesso rigore non si riscontra nel far rispettare le regole di silenzio in piscina. Durante l’unico tempo trascorso in piscina è arrivato un gruppo piuttosto chiassoso, nonostante il regolamento preveda di non disturbare gli ospiti.

Abbiamo prenotato una stanza deluxe con vasca da bagno, ma al nostro arrivo abbiamo scoperto che la vasca era difettosa. Nonostante lo abbiamo fatto notare per ben tre volte, non abbiamo riscontrato alcuna disponibilità nel cercare di risolvere il problema.

• Riccardo (10/5): Un gioiello romantico da vivere - Un vero gioiello! Questa struttura è romantica, unica e perfetta per staccare la spina. Chi cerca relax troverà qui pace e benessere assoluti. Ideale soprattutto per coppie che vogliono vivere un momento indimenticabile insieme. La posizione è spettacolare: da qui si può ammirare Milano, Como e persino Varese – un panorama che resta nel cuore. La struttura ha un fascino particolare, quasi con un carattere da antica rocca, che incanta subito. In poche parole: un luogo da sogno, per rilassarsi e godersi ogni attimo. Per me una raccomandazione assoluta – da provare almeno una volta nella vita!

• Manuel (10/5): Perfekte Lage, tolle Aussicht - Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel ist mit seiner erhöhten Lage am Ende eine Privatstrasse toll gelegen. Die weit gehende Aussicht Richtung Mailand und auch auf die Alpen vom Wallis und dem Aostatal ist sehr schön anzusehen. Praktisch isr auch die Nähe zur Schweizer Grenze und somit die einfache Anreise. Wir hatten ein grosszügiges Zimmer mit zwei Balkonen. Das Zimmer bot alle gewünschten Annehmlichkeiten. Speziell fanden wir lediglich, dass man sogar für den Kaffee und Tee im Zimmer bezahlen musste. Da sollten zumindest 2-4 am Tag inklusive sein. Auch fand wir es eigenartig, dass der Spa (inklusive Aussenpool) pro Tag nur 4 Stunden am Stück benutzt werden kann. D.h. es ist nicht möglich am Morgen und Nachmittag für 10-15 Minuten den Aussenpool zu nutzen im Sommer. Zusätzlich ist diese Benutzung nur inklusive, wenn man direkt im Hotel bucht, es ist generell zu teuer für eine einmalige, kurze Benutzung des Aussenpools. Frühstück und Abendessen waren hervorragend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Qualität der Speisen war topp. Ausserdem sind die beiden Restaurants sehr schön gelegen, verfügen über eine Ansprechende Inneneinrichtung und bieten auch wieder diese tolle Aussicht. Auch die Aussenterrasse ist perfekt gelegen. Weiter positiv zu vermerken ist die Verfügbarkeit eine Ladesäule für e-Autos. Wir können das Hotel gut weiterempfehlen.

Das Restaurant bietet eine hervorragende Küche. Man wird in diesm Haus rundum verwöhnt. Es fehlt eigentlich an nichts. Die halbdurchsichtigen Duschtrennwände sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber okay.

Breakfast is ok. There is a great interior swimming pool and also an exterior one. I preferred the interior one because it was quiter and had loads of bubbly masage thingymajiggies. Everything fine.

• Alex (6/5): - Booked this because it’s a VIP access hotel, but they told me they don’t offer room upgrade and there’s only a tiny poseco was included that’s from the mini bar. If you want to use spa facility is extra but only open 10am to 8pm. Breakfast is included with limited choices. A lot of sweet cakes. Service at breakfast is a little bit slow only two person running the place to order, deliver and clean up. The room is ok, the balcony facing the valley with good view, but no privacy between other rooms, the bush fence is completely no leaves you can see into someone else’s room just standing in the balcony. So many red berries in the balcony too. TV is tiny, and didn’t work, so no entertainment after dark.

The castle is on the top of a hill, surrounded by nature. Rooms are immaculate, spa very well organised with a lot of saunas. The restaurant… exquisite food, I had the best lamb ever . Breakfast is above the expectations of a top Italian breakfast and … believe me .. I am Italian very picky on food. The bombolone and the caprese cake were unforgettable. Last but not least : location is few minutes from the CH boarder and you can bypass Choassi which is normally very busy , so it is a perfect base to visit the Como Lake and to return to North Europe .

Prices are very high, definitely not Italian standard . It is clearly addressing Swiss customers. In the sauna with a bathing suit is to me a no go, it is like ordering a cappuccino post lunch.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Great, but beware the pool costs extra! - Wonderful hotel and rooms good size with all amenities you’d expect. Breakfast is cooked to order and excellent, if it’s busy you’ll have to wait a while for food but it’s worth the wait! So beautifully prepared, with attention to detail. The biggest letdown for us was that you have to pay 50€ per person a day to use the new outside pool as it’s located in the ‘spa'. This was not clear from the hotel description so very misleading and an expensive addition to the holiday so be aware of this when booking! You should also have a car if you stay here, the walk uphill is steep and no lights are on the dirt path.

• Richard (8/5): Sehr schön gelegen mit Aussicht nach Mailand - Das Hotel liegt angehoben auf einem Hügel, zufahrt mit tiefer gelegenem Fahrzeug nicht empfehlenswert. SUV kein Problem, Strasse nicht geteert. Sehr abgelegen und der SPA inkl. Pool benützung kosten pro Tag/Person 40Euro zusätzlich. Frühstück ist in Ordnung, aber alles zusätzliche kostet. Montag ist das Restaurant geschlossen, Bistro ist offen.

• Tom (10/5): - Beautiful hotel . Stunning breakfast, beautiful rooms. Spa facilities we haven’t used due to the fact that one has to pay too much for usage. And there is not so much more to do on the mountain. Why asking such and excessieve amount, i normally pay these ammount for a full day at professional well equiped day spa’s with much more facilities,

• Matej (10/5): - Everything was great, SPA is payed separately, it is quite small but luckily it was almost empty. Breakfast was good, but choice was limited. Dinner in the restaurant was quite expensive considering that some things were not up to the level. Overall experience was positive. VIP perk was only one mini bottle of Prosecco for two adults, no upgrade was offered even though it was available.

• pietro (4/5): - Gentile il personale, stanza eccellente, ottima l’area piscina/saune. Vista splendida. Unico punto debole: il ristorante: prezzi alti, porzioni piccole, qualità mediocre. Inoltre potrebbero risparmiarsi le conferenze di presentazione dei piatti che non interessano a nessuno. Ma ormai questo è il trend.

• cebi (8/5): Materassi da rivedere - Hotel favoloso, l'unics pecca è il doppio materasso singolo sul letto matrimoniale che ha creato una conca molto scomoda trovo che per il costo che ha questa struttura potrebbero usare materassi matrimoniali
• Manuel (6/5): - Super schönes an sehr ruhiger Lage gelegenes Hotel. Leider hatte das Hotel keine Sympathie. Es ist wie ein Bild das man anschaut- das hat mehr Ausdruck. Das Personal ist aufgesetzt freundlich. Was ich eine riesen Frechheit finde- ist das der Tee und der kaffe im Zimmer 5€ kostet- dir Kapseln sind nicht mehr wert als -.50 Cents. Wenn man über eine Platform bucht und nicht direkt beim Hotel- zahlt man für den Wellnessbereich 40€ / Tag & Person. Schade für das Anwesen. Die Zimmer waren grosszügig und sauber. Der Prosecco wie in der Buchung (VIP Ebookers) als Geschenk offeriert. War nicht vorhanden- auch auf Anfrage bei der Rezeption.
• Erwin (8/5): Beautiful property in a great natural environment about 30 minutes from Como. Splendid views. - We had dinner at the restaurant. We did not want to take the surprise menu as we did not want to have bad surprises. Could have been a bit better explained. Our a la carte dinner was good and the view from the outside terrace was incredible. They offered a nice wine selection. Our room was nice with a comfortable queen bed (we would have preferred a Kingsize bed, but they are hard to find in Europe) and a very nice walk in shower with jungle shower and separate shower head.. The room was clean and was well designed. Overall the property was in great shape. It is a great place to relax after travel or visits to nearby places. We would return if we were to return to the area. In our room the airco was only allowed to be set at 20 degrees C. It was warmer than we liked and as a result we did not sleep as well. Restaurant personnel were not the strongest ambassadors for this hotel. The owner should offer more training to bring them in line with the aspirations of the hotel.
• Gordana (9/5): Staff were 10/10 - Beautiful modern rooms with lovely staff. The breakfast was amazing with lots of fresh, homemade pastries and yoghurts from fresh ingredients from their gardens. The spa was great and very relaxing after long days in Como. The beauty staff - she was a young girl but very experienced and did a fantastic job. We had a balcony with amazing views. The views from dinner were even better. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, approachable and there to make your experience worthwhile. Could use more amenities. All you are given is a 2 in 1 body wash and shampoo and a hair net. Dinner is on the pricey side. Tea and coffee facilities are not included in the room but come at extra cost.
