Det vi likte best er beliggenheten/avstand til bts, ferger på elven etc. Street food rett utenfor døren + matmarkedet på siden av Central bangrak (tidligere Robinson). En meget god italiensk pizzaresturant ca 100 meter fra hotellet Bra basseng på toppen med solsenger og bar åpen til ca kl 22. Vi spiste ikke på hotellet da vi prioriterte gatemat. Kommer garantert til å bo her igjen

Lots of street food/food options within touching distance, as well as a couple of laundrettes. I also felt very safe as a solo female traveller. The staff are so helpful, polite and happy!

• Laure (8/5): Meilleur rapport qualité prix - Super séjour de cinq nuits, l’hôtel est très bien placé, seul point négatif, l’accueil nous dit que nous pouvons récupérer la chambre à partir de 13 heures mais arrivé sur place. Elle n’était pas prête. Nous lavons eu 40 minutes plus tard, deux fois négatif, au bout de deux jours, plus d’eau chaude dans la salle de bain, nous avons dû changer de chambre en cours de séjour. Malgré ces deux points négatifs. C’est la deuxième fois que nous allons dans cette hôtel est il est vraiment super.

Rooftop pool , which was renovated just a few years ago is great, with ideal view of the area. Staff is attentive and always welcoming. Perfect place!

Les chambres sont immenses et la climatisation, même si elle est bruyante, est très efficace ! La piscine est agréable même si elle mériterait un bon rafraîchissement elle aussi. Mais tout est d’une propreté irréprochable et le personnel est adorable. Un très bon rapport qualité-prix à Bangkok. Je recommande.

• Mike (6/5): - My room was nothing like the pictures on hotels.com. They must've showed the remodeled ones. Mine was definitely not remodeled.. Also, when I booked online it said my room had a king-sized bed. It was NOT a king-sized bed. When I called the front desk to let them know, the lady, while a nice women, put me on hold - likely to see what management wanted her to say to me - and returned to conversation to say, "That's our king-sized."... What!?!... There's no such thing as "our" king-sized! There's only king-sized!!... So, while the staff was Thai-friendly, I just can't dig the whole lying thing... "Our king-sized."... What the heck?!... Never lie, Grand Sathorn Hotel! TERRIBLE for business!

Rooftop Pool mit super Aussicht. Wir waren an Silvester da und hatte einen mega Ausblick zum Feuerwerk..unvergesslich!
• Gaia (6/5): Si e no - Soggiorno iniziato non proprio nel migliori dei modi, inizialmente mi è stata data una camera molto sporca, e siamo stati gli unici ai quali non è stato offerto il drink di benvenuto, dopo aver chiamato in reception mi è stata cambiata camera velocemente, cosa aprezzabile, per scusasi ci hanno offerto della frutta fresca, la posizione dell'hotel è comoda ai mezzi di trasporto sia pier che bts, nel complesso l'hotel è datato, dalle foto non sembrava così vecchio, il prezzo pagato secondo me dovrebbe essere stato inferiore, in quanto con la stessa cifra si trovano hotel di categoria superiore.

• John (8/5): - Great location. SAFE. Down the alley from everything we needed. Across the alley from a bakery and a 4 star restaurant. Not a chain hotel. Definite SE Asian atmosphere. Extremely clean. Only fault we found was an awkward shower set up with low water pressure. Fabulous roof top pool. Sraff was very helpful, although they struggled with the English language. I would definitely stay here again.

A lot of places nearby to have a lunch or dinner. We liked and definetely book again when it´s time to return Bangkok for a vacation.
• Sebastian (8/5): Nice little hotel for a really good price - It's a small clean hotel in Bangrak, close to food, the Sangri-La, the BTS and other amenities. The surroundings are not pretty, but it feels safe. Keep in mind taxi drivers might act as they don't know the place, make sure you bring a card with the details of the hotel with you. Breakfast was good and varied. Room was spacious and comfortable.

The “fitness center” consists of a treadmill that needed to be turned on, an old bike, a few weights, and an elliptical. The door is open so there is no air conditioning. The rooms are tired and worn down. I called the front desk for an in the room Thai massage. They said it would be ready in 1 hr. TWO hours later, no one showed up. I walked to the front desk, and the lady was unapologetic.

Restaurant on roof top, small, food mediocre at best. Had booked for two nights, checked out to another hotel after first night. No refund offered for second night booked. Would not recommend this hotel.

• David (8/5): The Grand Sathorn - Good location for BTS about 5/10 minutes walk. Plenty nice little local restaurants and cafes nearby that a reasonably priced. Some areas of the hotel look a little tired but it was clean and comfortable. Staff were always polite, friendly and nothing less than helpful. Cannot praise them enough. If your getting a taxi, make sure you have a map to help the driver, or allow more time if you're going to airport.. 2/3 taxis could not find it! The hotel did offer a taxi top airport but unless you're in a group and sharing the cost its too expensive.
• Abraham (10/5): Perfect hotel in a convenient location - Location is great, very close to boat and tram stations where you can get to anywhere using public transport. There is a shopping centre nearby where you can get great breakfast quite cheap (you have to go down some stairs next the the mcdonals. Not many good options for dinning nearby though. The swimming pool in the top floor is great and is perfect to relax after a long day walking. The room is huge and they provide with everything that is expected from a 4 start hotel.

Food was tasty, and nicely presented. Breakfasts were a great start to a day out. The swimming pool was my grandsons favorite place after a day out. A good experience and will likely book again next time I come to Bangkok.

Aircon worked well but is perhaps a little noisy, overcome with ear plugs. Love the roof top pool and bar, could stay all day. Great location to BTS, local eats on the Soi leading down to a Robinson dept store and the Bangrak market then River. Have stayed before and will stay again!

The room and hotel overall wasn't quite what the pictures presented, but it wasn't too bad. The problem was the bugs that kept showing up in the middle of the night. I think you can find better value elsewhere.

Lots of eateries nearby. Not always easy to get a cab. Excellent staff, and they have been the best part of the hotel for us. We will go back.
• Athanasios (2/5): Not so Grande rather little - The Hotel is completely unsuitable for a business traveller, there Internet / wifi service did not work at all and the staff was unable to fix it, I had to go to a nearby coffeshop and spend hours there to get e mails and data don. The first room they gave me was dirty, broken toilet and bathroom in run down condition. Change rooms and got a nice size thanks to the friendly staff, but doors and walls so thin you every word from the other rooms and the door lock is just a round push button type with metal key easy to forget to lock, so not even basic safety.. Breakfeast was unedible.. but if you are 25 and coming to party and get trashed in the nightlifed so you pass out drunk you wont notice any of all that anyway..

• Lala (8/5): Good location, nice hotel staff - We've spent our last day in Grand Sathorn Hotel and it was a good choice. Good location and we love the pool what is open until 11p.m. The room is ok, but bathroom is so used. The shower head fell apart in my hands and the water temperature was difficult to control. Overall is ok.

• Per (6/5): Better inside than out. - The hotel is located in a run down neighborhood, but then, all of Bangkok is run down. The interior is much nicer than the exterior and the employees are great. Very polite, helpful and sympathetic. Rooftop pool is small but adequate for an afternoon away from the street level pollution and dirt. AC works, but difficult to regulate.Big rooms. Fantastic international restaurant Mazzena is 5 mins walking distance. Do not eat anywhere else.Skytrain also 5 mins. walking
• Alex (10/5): Excellent - The staff are all very nice. The buffet breakfast is very good . The hotel is super clean, overall I rated the Grand Sathourn Hotel Excellent.
• JJ (8/5): - Fantastic front desk staff and a great location. The rooms and communal areas are very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The only negative was that the bathroom was a little tired and the water pressure from the shower wasn't great.

• Victoria (8/5): Big room and good location - Great room - king bed, quiet and very spacious. Pretty good area - very close to the Sathorn pier where you can ride the ferries and hop-on-hop-off river cruises. Some areas are expensive for food/drink. 50 baht ride to Patpong market.
• Kevin (8/5): Nice near to BTS - Overall quite a pleasant 1 night stay as hotel is very near to BTS Surasak station and also surrounding has a lot of food stalls available. Only down side was the internet access which wasn't stable during my stay as i was there for a business meeting trip. Overall is above average. Will stay again to rate better
• James (10/5): Thailand - This is an older hotel conveniently located near the river and subway station. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The staff could not have been friendlier. Lots of restaurants nearby. The breakfasts were great, a mix of western and Thai food.
