Jefferson (9/5): Volvería a hospedarme - El lugar es muy bonito, la ambientación en el área de la piscina (aún cuando estaban realizando remodelaciones), me dieron un upgrade a sus apartamentos lo cual me resultó maravilloso pues yo iba por trabajo, fue más cómodo sin el ruido de los demás huéspedes Las piedras que bordean todo el hotel para pasar a la playa, la caminería desde el hotel hasta el apartamento, en el área social del conjunto solo hay dos caneyes que sirven de sombra, pero más que no me gustó veo áreas con oportunidad para mejorar

Kim (9/5): Geweldig verblijf aan het strand - Prachtige locatie, heerlijk zwembad en aan het strand. Personeel erg vriendelijk en spreken goed Engels. Ruime kamers met uitzicht op strand/zee. Restaurant aanwezig met goed ontbijt, maar ook voor lunch, diner en drankjes . In de ochtend wordt je wakker door de brulapen, die in de bomen om het hotel heen zitten. Geweldig! Niks

Sophie Cuffez (6/5): - Prachtige locatie, comfortabele bedden, lekker eten. Helaas werd geen rekening gehouden met onze boeking en onze 2 kleine kinderen. We kregen dan ook de enige kamer die aan de bar, restaurant en ontmoetingsplek voor alle gasten lag. Lees: er was geen seconde rust van 's morgens tot 's avonds laat, met kleine kinderen niet ideaal. Meermaals een andere kamer gevraagd maar was blijkbaar niet mogelijk. Uiteindelijk 1 personeelslid toch medeleven getoond en enkele tafels bij onze kamer verwijderd en muziek vroeger op de avond stil gezet. Bij boeking volstaat dus niet om aan te geven dat je met 2 kleine kinderen reist. Noteer bij boeken dat je NIET in kamer 1 wil logeren.

Ana (10/5): Fantástico. - Todo. La ubicación es inmejorable, todo está muy limpio y cuidado. Todo el personal que nos atendió súper agradable. Desayunamos y almorzamos allí y muy rico todo. Nos permitieron quedarnos en las instalaciones después de hacer el checkout para disfrutar del hotel. Está en la otra parte de venao de la fiesta por lo que se puede descansar bien.

Jeffrey White (8/5): A relaxing and welcoming escape to Playa Venao - Staff was incredibly friendly and communicated with me in English and Spanish. The room was a nice size with a patio, the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located right on the beach and has a small pool. I would walk along the beach to get to the centre of Playa Venao where the other hotels, restaurants, and shops were located. For me personally, I didn't like the beach, the waves are really for surfers, which is no fault of the hotel.

Maileen (9/5): - Schönes (noch) kleines Hotel direkt am Strand. Die Getränke und das Essen sind sehr lecker und die Preise vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Personal hat sehr gutes Englisch gesprochen. Zum Glück liegt das Hotel etwas abseits, da der Bass von den Clubs am Playa Venao leider sehr laut ist.

Ruth (8/5): - Schöne Wohnung mit einer grossen Terrasse und direkter Meersicht. Wir haben eine Wohneinheit in der Anlage eines 4 Sterne Hotels gebucht und wurden vor Ort informiert, dass wir keinen Anspruch auf Reinigung, frische Bettwäsche etc. haben. Das war überraschend und verwirrend. Immerhin hatten wir für 8 Tage gebucht und keinen Hinweis bei der Beschreibung/Buchung gefunden.
Marisa (9/5): Un lugar para desconectar - Es un sitio muy tranquilo para desconectar. El personal es muy agradable y atento, la comida es buena y las bebidas tienen buenos precios. No te sientes en un hotel, sino más bien en una casa “del interior”. Fuimos con nuestro bebe de 4 meses y nos encantó todo. Hay monos y guacamayas en los árboles que rodean el hotel, es una experiencia muy linda escucharlos y verlos. El primer cuarto que nos ofrecieron estaba pegado a otro, separado por una puerta y se escuchaba todo. Pudimos hacer un upgrade y movernos a uno con más privacidad pero pagando. Mejoraría los caminos adaptados a cochecitos o sillas de ruedas, hay rampas pero luego te encuentras con más de un escalón que hacen que la rampa y la accesibilidad queden en nada.

Peter (10/5): Fantastisch - Zeer rustig en aangenaam hotelletje. De kamers met zeezicht zijn prachtig en een meerwaarde. Lekker ontbijt en keuze in het restaurant voor lunch of avond eten. Misschien iets meer keuze qua slaatjes ed van de lunch. Het hotel ligt rustig en op wandel afstand van de restaurants en beach bars en centrum van Playa Venao. Het personeel is buitengewoon TOP!!! Wij komen terug 🥰 Geluid van de buren door de connecting deur.

Jennifer (5/5): - Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön - etwas abseits der Stadt und direkt am Strand, sehr idyllisch. Die komfortablen Strandliegen unter Palmen sind wundervoll und das Servicepersonal sowie die Rezeption sehr freundlich - auch beim Buchen von Ausflügen und jeglichen Fragen wurden wir gut unterstützt. Das Bett war bequem und die Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert (leise). Das Frühstück ist lecker (nicht inklusive) und das Abendessen war in Ordnung. Man kann gefahrlos auch nachts von der Stadt über den Strand zum Hotel zurück laufen, sollte aber eine Taschenlampe dabei haben (wir haben uns eine im Supermarkt gekauf, da das Handylicht etwas zu dunkel war). Diese Problematik haben Gäste vermutlich weniger, wenn sie nicht über Weihnachten und Silvester reisen: In Venao findet über Neujahr ein 4-tägiges Electronic Music Festival statt und die Lautstärke ist sehr extrem. In unserem Zimmer mit Meerblick haben die Fenster vom Bass gezittert - und das trotz der Distanz zur Stadt. Schlafen ist während dieser Zeit schlicht nicht möglich, an Silvester lief die Musik bis 8 Uhr morgens! Uns hat das völlig unerwartet getroffen, da Villa Marina in seiner Begrüßungs-Mail mit einer "deeply restful experience, surrounded by nature, calm and well-being" wirbt. Das Festival findet bereits sehr mehreren Jahren statt, daher finden wir, dass eine Information vorab durchaus berechtigt gewesen wäre. Wir sind nach 2 Nächten ohne Schlaf vorzeitig abgereist und hatten so einige Diskussionen bzgl. Erstattung. Auch ohne das Festival war es am Wochenende recht laut, aber die Musik aus der Stadt hörte immerhin nachts um 4 Uhr auf und war nicht ganz so extrem wie um Neujahr. Zudem hatten wir in einer Nacht sehr laute Nachbarn und die Wände des Hotelzimmers sind leider so dünn als wären sie aus Pappe - man hört jedes Wort aus dem Nachbarzimmer. Als Verbesserungsvorschlag würde ich empfehlen, die 4 Zimmer mit Meerblick zu renovieren, die Wände zu dämmen und unbedingt hochwertigere Fenster einzubauen. Vom Klima her braucht man das zwar nicht, aber es würde bzgl. Ruhe im Zimmer bestimmt helfen und die Qualität anheben. Und bitte geben Sie den Gästen eine Vorwarnung über die Festivitäten, wenn sie über Weihnachten/Neujahr anreisen.

Small annoyance with faulty door lock that wasn’t fixed before guest arrival. Had to wait outside the room twice untill fixed. Also incorrectly charged twice for meals I had already paid for.

Alexander (10/5): Perfect boutique hotel, friendly staff, excellent service, really tasty food and the best pool! - This is one of the best beach hotels I have stayed in. The pool is amazing and right next to a beautiful beach, we had the most amazing sunsets three nights in a row right in front of us. All of the staff were friendly, professional and every single person appeared to be working hard and friendly at the same time. Our small family loved every second of our stay, it's hard to beat a cocktail by the pool at Villa Marina!! The food was excellent and really reasonably priced as well, we had a budget in mind and by the end of the stay were well under what we had intended to spend. I don't really have any complaints, the hotel is even close enough to the louder and busier areas of Playa Venao that you can easily walk there and enjoy that area too.
