Small rooms, with zero view!….though it is well furnished…. Breakfast was very poor, in terms of options & portions)!.. Staff didn’t seem friendly at all…. Specially the gentlemen there….

- AndPrieto (10/5): Muy buena opción de hospedaje en Medellin - Coinsidero que el hotel se ve mejor en persona que en las fotos. También la ubicación es muy buena ya que se encuentra cerca del Poblado sin estar inmerso en el ruido que se genera al estar cerca de ciercos clubes y bares. La cama y almohadas me parecieron un poco duras pero nada grave.

Since I only stayed one night, it was mainly a place to sleep, but it worked perfectly for that. Even tho I was there for a short time I wish they had a poop

Driver was not there and hard to find, he had a giant subwoofer in the trunk so we had to sit with bags inside, he was on the phone taking videos and texting while driving, no seatbelts available…

- THE TIME TRAVELERS (1/5): - The customer service was very bad and they treated my guess horrible and very bad. It used to be one of my favorite hotels but now I will never go there again The customer service was so bad and made my guess so uncomfortable that we couldn't even enjoy the fun and love of Colombia. We couldn't even come with an agreement with the staff all the hotel managers so I checked out early and got a refund . Totally disappointed of how he was treated. But we still love Colombia and 10 years of greatness this was our only bad experience... If they don't change their ways I will never be at that hotel ever again....

Al Personal adicional no le importas para nada , son groseros .. ( mención especial a Juanito “ Un Caballero , el único que trabaja bien en ese Hotel” y la recepcionista Angie , ellos 2 son los más amables , el resto todos groseros y poco profesionales)

I booked this hotel specifically for the jacuzzi and steam room, and they were out of order the entire time — even though I was told daily they’d be working “soon“.

- James (8/5): - Good location, convenience/liquor store right next-door open till 4 AM. Reasonably priced only one and a half blocks to Parque Lleras . Jason at the front desk was very helpful. Breakfast was basic but decent. The only problem was they’re not nearly enough seats for the number of people trying to eat.. my main problem was the guest/joiner fee of 140,000 COP, which they said had to be paid ahead of time. for this reason, I will elect not to return.

- Alexander (10/5): Rooftop jacuzzi: an oasis of calm - Medellilín - and especially El Poblado - can be quite overwhelming. The constant traffic, the music blaring from every bar, the capoeira street dancers, the young sex workers plying their trade at Parque Lleras. Hotel Dix offers a calm refuge from all this. Especially as you can book a free, two-hour slot at the gym and jacuzzi on the 7th floor. We went from 4 to 6 pm and watched the sun drop behind the Cordillera Occidental, while soaking in the bubbles. The hotel staff are welcoming, helpful, and speak some English. It's an easy Uber ride to the downtown sites and a classic little jazz club; El Club del Jazz.
