- Stella (10/5): Very comfortable we decided to extend our stay the property is in a great location as our room was so comfortable - The rooms are very nice th beds comfortable and they have everything you could want in a motel the separate cantina offers an ice machine vending machines with ph chargers, toothbrush ect, there’s also a tap for filtered water or sparkling water. I am being extremely picky another rubbish bin would be nice

- Louise (8/5): Very clean and comfy stay at the Isla. - We like the modern refurbishment of this property with very clean and comfy rooms and all amenities. The rooms are light and airy. Short stroll to shops and cafe is great. Good motel style easy private car parking (though a full house might mean you have to park in a public off site area). The shower can be problematic as it soaks the bathroom floor and mats. The shower itself is fabulous; but no shower door equals a messy wet bathroom afterward. The property has online checkin and checkout (involving multiple texts and emails and uploading license, etc) so there are no staff on site, however the response to emails or phone calls is excellent.

Rooms have all you need for a short stay We had an issue with our shower and couldn’t keep the bathroom dry. Management were amazing helping but we still couldn’t work it out. Also I’m not sure how rooms are allocated but would prefer downstairs

- Ieysha (6/5): Didn’t live up to the hype - The beds were very comfortable and location was good for what we required. The Leif toiletries were also lovely. Casita was exactly what I hoped it wouldn’t be: a cheaply renovated space with subpar furnishings, lacking warmth and personal touch, whilst carrying a premium price tag. We stay at all different accommodation around the world and I was excited to stay at this place because it had killer reviews and showed real soul and personality in the pictures, but what was delivered was not even a fraction of what was advertised. As soon as you walked in, it smelt like an old stuffy 70’s motel, had barely any of the decor pictured (what was there was a bunch of useless Kmart items inadequately styled) and the room looked like it had been quickly turned over from the last guests. There was mould in the showers, especially on the ceiling above the shower because of poor ventilation and there was a bunch of hair throughout. The check in process was easy and efficient but lacked human element. There are no staff onsite and there is no reception desk so it’s all done online, which like I said is easy and efficient but it all feels a bit impersonal and AI generated. I just feel like Casita could do better. There were no thoughtful details, the overall vibe wasn’t a vibe and it just felt disappointing. You’re basically paying premium for an old motel with some paint splashed on the walls, some updated joinery, floor coverings and tapware and a bunch of mis-matched decor that doesn’t give the same feel as the pictures online. I’m sure at one point Casita felt as warm and lovely as pictured, but it wasn’t giving that for our stay.

In der kleinen Küche gibt es gefiltertes Wasser mit und ohne Kohlensäure vom Wasserhahn Der Kühlschrank war etwas zu klein. Die Entfernung der Unterkunft zur Stadt ist etwas weit, aber das wußten wir ja vorher schon.

With kids staying with us it would have been good to have a lock on the front door that was not in their reach - my toddlers were able to unlock the door which felt quite unsafe. Apart from that I cannot fault anything!

- Isabella (10/5): Just what I was looking for! - The whole property is very cute and stylish. Non-contact check in is super easy. Bed was great and when we couldn’t figure out how to get the chomecast working, the staff were than happy to help despite being outside of office hours! Nothing.

The space is spotless without feeling clinical, creating a calm, welcoming environment that immediately puts you at ease. The customer service is fabulous. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring staff who make you feel valued rather than rushed. Questions are met with patience, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble. And a huge bonus: they accept dogs, which instantly earns extra points. It’s clear they understand that great experiences sometimes come with four legs and a wagging tail 🐾 Thoughtfully run, immaculately clean, and backed by people who truly know what they’re doing. This is how great service should feel. I’ll absolutely be back and recommending it without hesitation 🌟 It was as close to perfect as it could get.

- Richard (8/5): Chill at the Casita - Loved the vibes! The aesthetics are very cool and inspired my next renovation, they've done a great job of it. There was loads of space for our family to just hang out and chill which was perfect. Beds and couch are comfy, which is important on a holiday. Its also really well positioned for great food options (highly recommend a Heat pizza). The Isla and Casita are two different venues that share a fence, pool is in the Isla which you access via the backyard of the Casita. Great that there is a laundry room but its a shared space and the machines were always full, there was no chance for us to do a load during our stay.

- Holly (10/5): Fabulous stay and facilities - would highly recommend! - We stayed in one of the suites and it had fabulous decor, great space, extremely clean and comfortable. The overall facilities were fantastic as well. Staff were very pleasant and courteous. Would highly recommend! Extremely minor small things but would be great to have a floor lamp in the living space and then a lower profile pillow option as well.
