- Sherpa68303468399 (8/5): Deluxe Suite Comfort & Convenience – Everything We Needed - We had such a great stay at Al Minahj Nadi, especially in the Deluxe Suite. It honestly had everything we needed and more. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after long days out. One thing we really appreciated was how well-equipped it was. There was proper cookware available so we could prepare our own meals easily, which made such a difference. We even did laundry every day (lol) and having those facilities available was so convenient. Everything about our stay was smooth and comfortable. The place felt safe, practical, and well thought out for longer stays. We’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere that feels like a home away from home.
- 560lorainep (4/5): Concerns about poor cleanliness, unsafe room conditions, and unprofessional staff service at Alminaj. I - My experience at Alminaj was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this property to anyone — especially families with children. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were very poor. The kitchen area was dirty, the sink basin and dish dispenser had visible grime (kai), and it was obvious these areas had not been cleaned properly. The pillowcases and bed sheets were not changed after the previous guests left — they were stained and had an unpleasant smell. Even more concerning were the safety issues. Some glass windows were cracked, posing a serious risk, and the door locks were faulty, making it hard to open or exit the rooms once shut. This made me feel unsafe, particularly for children. Overall, the property felt neglected, the staff service was unhelpful, and there seemed to be no proper housekeeping or maintenance in place. For these reasons, I would strongly advise against staying here until major improvements are made in cleanliness, safety, and staff training.
- Vik (10/5): - My stay was made even more pleasant by the friendly staff there. Particularly Tupou, who has a great attitude and always willing to assist with a smile. She is a real asset to the team. Keep it up Tupou! Room and overall facilities were nice and clean. Neighbourhood is also quite and safe. I will definitely stay at Al Minaj again.

Severe absence of advertised facilities- no coffee, internet, tv, towels, toiletries, noisy air conditioning, single duvet for a king size bed, dirty and very much past its peak. Location was chosen as close to airport and a supermarket. Would not return.

- Moveen (2/5): - The property is falling apart and thr hygiene is so teriible mould in the bathrom you can literally get more dirty in the shower its so dirty,none of the appliance is working ,all our food in the fridge got wasted despite complaining for 3 days in a row ,kettle not working, microwave not working ,washing machine keeps going for all day ,cocroachs crawing in the kitchen and culboards,ridiculous service the recption took over a hour to sortout the booking ,never recomend this place ,should never be on Expedia ,extremely dissapointed.

Came back one day to all my stuff packed up, turns out they had thought I was meant to be checking out so started packing it all up to move me out then must've realised they were wrong. The place in general was dirty - towels were stained, sheets were had marks all over them, the floor hadn't been cleaned in years. The whole place is rundown - tile falling off the walls everywhere, my AC unit sounded like it was dying, shower head was falling apart, curtain rain was hanging on for dear life, electrical switch board in room was falling apart. One of our rooms had the slat window missing glass, so essentially no window at all. Didn't help it was loud all night The staff were friendly, but pretty useless- Came back one day to all my stuff packed up, turns out they had thought I was meant to be checking out so started packing it all up to move me out then must've realised they were wrong. Wouldn't recommend unless the other option is the street

- stinKiwi (4/5): This is not a serviced apartment - Serviced apartment this is certainly not a good one , it did have a bed , a washing machine we never used it , tv with 1 channel broken draws that did not close, dirty floors, microwave, fridge, shower that was cold and dirty, no tea towels, nothing to wash the plates and cups with, total lack of cutlery, gas hob that did not work, one very dirty fry pan, they did bring us a jug, this place was noisy and dark, parking was limited and only after asking we were shown where additional parking was. Staff were very pleasant the only good thing i can think of. Maybe we got a bad unit. Serviced apartment according to the tourism list following: Serviced apartments, means you can have a home away from home and should include A hob and kitchenware like pots, pans, crockery and cutlery come as standard while many apartments have fully fitted kitchens with a full oven and a comprehensive range of cooking implements. We had one dirty pan, totally lacking anything, would not recommend, just as cheap to stay at a hotel.

The staff was so helpful and attentive -- so appreciate that! Also, the owner was very gracious to let us have a late check out based on departure time at the airport. - Susan (8/5): - We stayed in these apartments on two separate nights and both times the apartment was clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and offer decent cooking facilities and a washing machine in each bathroom. It's also close to the airport. However, as the name suggests, the rooms are geared more to Indo-Fijians or others of Asian heritage, and are also mostly used as longer term stays. We found the bed was unusually firm for Western preferences. Management initially seemed unprepared for our booking, which appears to go through Expedia, but their response was much better on our second visit. They also organised a reasonably priced and reliable driver for us.

Only issue for us would be that the apartment was not serviced for the duration of our 3 night stay and we also did not receive any towels throughput. Apart from this it is fairly safe and convenient location too.

- kirsttimms29 (2/5): Good hub to get around Nadi - Cleanliness definitely needs to improve! There were hinges broken on the some cupboards and my apartment was not serviced during my 5 day stay. But there were some positives. It very close to public transport( so cheap too)close to supermarkets, chemist and places to get sim/data. Also down the road from a farmers market so you can get fresh veges/fruit each day, which is a bonus as you can cook for yourself in the apartment. There is a washing machine in the apartment. As a solo traveler, I did feel reasonably safe in the complex.

The rooms has its own washing machine, cooking area. So far, this is one of the best apartments I've stayed in. Their staff is helpful and I must also commend on the Owners/Managers helpfulness. I am definitely looking forward to be back.

- Camper08162374967 (4/5): Unbeliveable - I had a terrible time here. I was booked into the top floor, the room had no landline phone this is a necessay service in the event of emergency. The room lighting was insufficient the ceiling lights was dull and I spent 1 week (Sunday-Saturday) without my room been serviced. The shower room was impossible to move around in it was probably 80cm X 80cm no space it was so tiny in addition to the tinniness, there was no hot water for the duration of my stay, the kitchen had hot water but the shower hot water system was not working. I used the same towel/bedsheets for the entire duration of my stay there even though I was told the policy was rooms would be cleaned after 3 day for me this did not occur. However, the afternoon staff (male) was very helpful I would not recommend the accommodation to anyone unless the accommodation do improvement on its service.

- Gay13 (2/5): Avoid this place if possible - I booked a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom apartment for my husband and I and my daughter and her family(6&7 year old). The check in at 8pm was fine with the security guard showing us our apartments and getting the documentation signed. The only positive remark about the Apartments is that the beds were comfortable and the bed linen clean. The air conditioning unit made a very loud noise all night along with a dog that barked from dusk to dawn. Sleeping was not easy. The light in the shower did not work and the shower doors would not close. There was no hot water in the hand basin. It was not possible to cook as there were no pots to use other than a large vessel with no handles. The interior of the kitchen cupboards were dirty and not conducive to using the crockery stored in them. When I went to check out they told me it had all been completed using my credit card. Later when I looked at my bank account I found the amount on my credit card showed two transactions. I ended up calling them and they said one transaction was for the accommodation and the other for the 3% credit card charge. I asked for copies of these transactions which were emailed to me. The office was so full of towels and boxes it was hard to find a receptionist in it. I could not recommend this place even though the price is reasonable.
- Griz1960 (8/5): Ideal base for touring - If you're expecting resort-style accommodation, then this isn't going to be the place for you. The apartments are clean, have the basics for an extended, self-contained stay and are close to some local shops and bus routes. There were some maintenance issues, like cupboard doors not quite secured, but it didn't impact our stay. (The hot water wasn't functioning for much of our stay, was subsequently fixed.) Staff were friendly and helpful, and you felt secure in an area that is 'a bit off the beaten track' (thanks Simon for keeping watch). For the price, Al-Minhaj provides a nice base for touring the western part of Fiji.

- David (10/5): Canadians on Fiji Time - Relatively new apartments, clean, well appointed and good friendly service by all staff. Owner manager is very business oriented and wants to make a good impression on his guests and was very successful for us. The facility has a pool which is clean and cool and has a covered seating area for protection from the sun and occasional rains. Wifi was available at extra cost per day and was as good as it gets in Fiji. It worked well most of the time but during business hours, Vodofone has a bit of trouble keeping up. We did have two minor problems, propane ran out and the power panel failed but both were serviced and working in minutes. Apartment comes with dishes, utensils and cooking pots & pans so you can cook your own meals from truly, fresh produce bought at the Namaka Market 200 meters down the street. There is also a market just around the same corner for meats and other needs. For those who don't want to cook, there are restaurants in the area though I can't comment on these for quality. Parking is limited but there is a security person who keeps guard all night on any vehicles connected to the apartment. The apartment is also located just off the Kings Highway and has easy access to Nadi Town, Airport and the two main roads to the north and south of the island. The orchid gardens, ziplines and other facilities are also close at hand. All in all, a very pleasant and comfortable stay.
- rcross351 (10/5): ''Excellent Accommodation with Friendly Hospitality'' - I have on occasions stayed at Al-Minhaj Apartments, these are my favorite choice of accommodation in the Nadi area, walking distance to the Namaka fruit & vegetable market, restaurants & supermarkets.The rooms are very well maintained with super friendly service. All rooms are fully equipped with all the necessities that you need, e.g. washing machine, microwave, cooking facilities along with good AC & good television coverage. The reception area has a beautiful pool larger enough for friends & family to join & an area for sitting & socializing. There is room for parking your car & if by the chance the car park is full they have good parking on the street outside, with a security guard monitoring the apartment & street side. If you are looking for accommodation that is quiet, well maintained, relaxing & well secured then I recommend 100% Al-Minhaj Apartments.
- astrid (4/5): - The office was closed when I arrived at about 6:00 pm. (Too late to get wifi. ). The door wouldn't lock properly because the pieces were not aligned, didn't feel very safe. The person who greeted me with the key was some kind of temporary guy who didn't seem to know much and wash just hanging around outside. He didn't inspire confidence. However, he was still there when I left at 6:00 am so I was able to hand in my key card and he was nice enough to walk up to the main road for me in order to flag down a taxi to the airport, as the office was still closed. The property no long offers airport pickup services.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok hotel near the Airport. - We arrived at midday to find that Expedia had not passed on the booking, but we were given a room immediately as we needed to head away again. Arrived back late that evening and went to have a shower, the bathroom had not been cleaned with open shampoo bottle and soap on the floor, no milk for coffee in the morning. The rooms are large, but the area was noisey at night.
- PaulTheTravelGuy (8/5): Nice, no-nonsense stay at Al-Minhaj - I was visiting Nadi for business and needed a convenient location and affordable accommodation. Al-Minhaj was both. Checkin was easy and staff seemed quite nice. Room was fine - had a kitchen which was minimally stocked, a large refrigerator, sitting area next to the bed, a balcony, and a bathroom, complete with a clothes washer. I purchased the daily internet access at FJD$5, only to find out that the wi-fi can only reach the balcony, and you must be outside to use it. No biggie - still cheap internet access. Bed was comfortable, and air-con worked great. Having a washer is a GREAT benefit. As an FYI, the office is only open from 9a-5p. As I returned back each day after 5p, the only person there was the night security guard, who was quiet but very nice. Within walking distance of a couple of markets, a very short walk to the Namaka Market (to get fresh produce), and a couple of restaurants. For the price that I paid, this was a great value.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not a place to stay at all - The service was extremely poor.The phone in the room was out of order and even after several trips to the reception and asking to fix the phone it was not done. We had to go to reception every time we needed something.There is no elevator and no one helps carry the luggage . The experience is absolutely awful, will not stay there ever again
- 146kristieb (2/5): disappointed - Very disappointed booked the apartment and was def not what I thought it was going to be and the owner is a very arrogant man who was horrible to deal with, I go to Fiji every year & thought I would stay some where different, it was the worse holiday ever, plus he moved us from this apartment cause he said his other apartment was a lot better well it was worse, tried to get my money back to go stay somewhere else and took 6 days and had to call Booking.com to get them to resolve it, also left my Name Gold necklace in the first apartment but when asked if they had it. they said it wasn't there so very did honest people. on the positive side the young girl Cynthia was the only pleasant one working there,
- Katrin (8/5): Nice place close to the airport - Very nice apartment close to Nandi airport. Staff is friendly and attentive, good value for money. Would definitely recommend this place.
- H (6/5): - Relatively clean private and close to the only decent coffee shop we found in area. Kitchen not well equipped. Missing some essentials i.e tin opener and not serviced daily but overall a pleasant reasonably priced place to stay.
- 481marka (8/5): Value for money - Friendly and very helpful staff always willing to assist. Apartments are well stocked, clean and of a decent size. Great location near the airport, shopping and restaurants. This place has great potential and is certainly value for money.
- Relz12 (8/5): Great stay and location for a couple of nights - The price and rooms were very reasonable. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, and it was perfect size for our family of 2 adults 2 children. The rooms were clean, aircon worked amazing and we arrived at 7am in the morning from Australia and for no extra charge they allowed us to drop off our suitcases and use the room to get ready before we went out for the day. The location is great its about a $6-$8FJD taxi ride from the airport to the accomodation and a 1 min walk to the main street, market and shops. There is a supermarket close by, banks, internet shop, restaurants and fresh pineapple watermelon at the market. The pool is small buy nice and refreshing and clean. Was great coming back to after a day put and about. I would recommend this place to stay for a couple of nights if you are heading off to an outer island or somewhere else.

- Martin (8/5): Always a pleasure at Al-Minhaj - Al-Minhaj apartments remains my preferred Nadi overnight hotel. Great property, not far from the airport, and at a reasonable price.
