• Melissa (2/5): Go somewhere else - Bugs in the bathroom...air conditioner was leaking because the filter had not been changed in a LONG time. No hot water in the shower. I changed rooms and more bugs in the room and the refrigerator did not work. This is a 1 star hotel at best.
• Brandy (2/5): - Terrible service—they didn’t even help with our luggage. The photos are completely misleading. The room we got looked nothing like the updated photos they shared online. There was mold on the walls, dirty-looking blankets, and roaches. After checking in, we immediately decided to leave and went to another hotel (Liberty Hotel) that was only slightly more expensive but had much better service. When we informed them we were leaving, they refused to refund us. Before arriving in Saigon, we were told we could inspect the room first and that if we left early, we’d only be charged for half a day. Avoid this place! The area is crowded and unsafe!
• AE RI (6/5): - 부이비엔 거리 초입에 있어요. 아침까지 노래소리가 크게 들려서 잠 귀 밝으신 분들은 힘들 수 있어요. 사용하지 않은 침대에서 머리카락들이 나오고 서랍이나 집기류들에 먼지는 좀 있는 편이에요. 면봉도 사용하고 남은 면봉이 그대로 있어서 청결에 예민하신분들은 다른데 가시는게 좋을 것 같아요. 위치나 가격면에서는 아주 좋아요
• Brad (2/5): - The worst hotel i have visited. TV broken, rude staff who lay on the couch all day. Never again.
• Yogendra Pratap (2/5): - This is not a hotel, this is fraud and trying to loot customers while they check-in. - Booked hotel but they never mentioned the duration of the booking. - In-room detail mentioned that "day use 2 hrs (Extra charge for the full night)" and rare user scroll and see this line because this is not common. - They will let you in and 10 min later they will ask double triple the money for a full night. - Expedia clearly mentioned that check-out time is the next day at noon but they deny everything. - Even he said that "Why you booked from Expedia, I don't know this app and platform". - He will force you to charge money anyway and continue talking rudely so either you have to pay or leave. - by mistake, booked this room and luckily reached in 1 hour and got 1 hour to stay otherwise he never let me check-in, and it's very hard to cancel the booking. - So please be aware of fraud, better to go with good hotels. here was a very very bad experience. - Apart from this, the rooms are not the same as the pic, very dirty, small and noisy. even not a basic facility. Have a good trip.

• LIM (8/5): My humble opinion - Overall the stay is pleasant. Just that the TV remote control in my room 302 is not good and I don't find a hook to hang my wet towel. Overall the breakfast is ok, the room is clean and the staff is kind and polite.
• NOBUYUKI (6/5): 繁華街のど真ん中毎夜3時過ぎまで大音量 - バスターミナルからも近く、チェックインした時アンケートにエレベーターが無く五階の部屋は大変と記入したら翌日二階の部屋空き交換してください、スタッフ対応も良かったが、繁華街のど真ん中で、夜中3時過ぎまで大音量でデスコからの音が聞こえる為眠れませんでした。あまり音を気にしない方なら、ホテル代金も安く繁華街のど真ん中ですからお勧めです。

• SON (10/5): 첫날 숙소였습니다~ - 위치는 부이비엔거리에 있습니다~ 처음에 시끄러울까봐 걱정했는데 크게 신경쓰일정도가 아니었습니다. 오히려 짐두고 가볍게 나와서 놀다가 바로 들어갈수있어서 좋았구요. 밤늦게 체크인했지만 직원분이 친절하게 응다해주셔서 여행 처음부터 기분좋게 시작했네요. 덕분에 좋은 추억 생겼습니다!
• Damon (8/5): Served a purpose - We have stayed here a few times before but the last time was at least 4years ago. We knew it was a basic hotel but it was always clean, in a central location and fairly comfortable. For the price you pay, it was great. Again, all those things were true except that in the last few years the street we are located on has become the party street. On the weekends there are live bands directly outside the hotel which perform until 3 am. On other nights, the local bars etcplay music super loud to similar times. Makes it noisy but with the air con, fan and ear plugs I actually managed to sleep reasonably okay and block out some of the noise. It helped to be in a back room. My daughter and husband were in the front room and so it was a lot louder. But it served a purpose and was close to everything to walk there. If you can’t climb stairs then you will find this quite hard. Some of our friends were on the 5 Th floor and they are steep stairs. The breakfast is awful so we went around to Starbucks for coffee and something to eat, but some of our friends stayed for the egg, toast and coffee so again that is personal. Overall, the hotel served its purpose. If you are looking for luxury or peace don’t stay here but if you want location and convenience, and cheap it will be okay.

• jason (10/5): Great little hotel in perfect location - This hotel is right off of Bui Vien St which is the party street. Lots of hustle and bustle esp. at night so if you want a tranquil area with peace and quiet this is not for you. Otherwise if you're there to go out drinking and dancing then this is perfect. No elevators though so prepare for steps. And note the upper floor deluxe rooms are more quiet at night so the loud bar music is less noticeable. The rooms are very nice and clean. My first room had very hard uncomfortable beds where you could feel all the springs, but they let me change rooms and the 2nd room had better beds. Overall great hotel and I will definitely stay there again!

It's in the backpacker heartland just off Bui Vien St, which throbs loudly until 4am every night, so light sleepers beware! Special thanks to fillin manager Binh, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
• OnTheMove (6/5): - Rooms are clean, staff friendly & polite. Hotel has no elevator so avoid room on high floors, although climbing stairs isn’t a bad exercise :-) District 1 is a noisy place, LIVE all night with loud music. So bring your ear plugs if you are sensitive about noise.

Toilet floor made of mable tiles very slippery, must have anti slip as 2 of our friends slip on them.no complimentary mineral water was provided. Given towel was too small.Breakfast variety only 4 sets. And for drink only coffee, tea and orange juice. I request for refill of coffee but was told sold out. When request for tech to repair faulty room phone but was inform weekend nobody is working.had to wait till monday.But they did not repair it even until when i check out on tuesday.
• kent (8/5): Quite side street and so close to all the action - Great hotel down a little side street right in the middle of district 1 Room was great with ensuit cable TV etc Breakfast was basic but that is normal eggs toast and jam Surprisingly quite considering the noise on the street just up the lane way Staff were super friendly which seems pretty normal in Vietnam haha I would suggest asking for a lower floor as we were on the 5th and with high ceilings and no elevator it was a bit of a struggle climbing up and down the stairs!!
• Giorgos (10/5): Great value for the money - This hotel offers a great value for the money you pay. You pay a little higher than a hostel, but you stay in a hotel! In a real hotel with daily room service, breakfast and extremely courteous and helpful hotel staff. Pluses: hotel is in District 1 (one of the most popular districts in Ho Chi Minh), it is located within walking distance to many sightseeing attractions, it is next to pubs/bars (it can get a little noisy sometimes but it's not too bad) and you can get high quality tours organized by hotel staff who are extremely courteous and always with a smile. I had personally booked with them a tour to the CuChi tunnels. The only drawback for maybe older people or people with mobility problems is that there is no elevator. Also, the breakfast is pretty basic. It almost lacks taste. Other than, the value for money, its location and its friendly staff makes this hotel a smart decision.

Handy to everything you need and good eating locally. Breakfast is eggs and more eggs with toast but gets you going. They will arrange tours for you. Eat at the Royal Saigon down the road great food

• Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet hotel in the backpackers area - Very clean hotel in the backpackers area.Down an alley ,so no disturbance from the partying outside.Lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby .Room was very clean ,except my room had the occasional ants but my kid's room was all right.Simple breakfast provided.Reception can speak English and is very helpful if you ask for help/directions. Only downside is no lift ,so not recommended for the elderly or people with heavy luggage.

• Lim (10/5): Great hotel near Bui Vien! - It was a fantastic stay at Luan Vu Hotel. The hotel is located in an alley of Bui Vien. It's quiet though it is close to the buzz of Bui Vien. The room is well furnished and clean. Hotel is located near plenty of bars and eating places. Breakfast is provided. Highly recommended for budget travels.
• Shaun (10/5): A great, friendly, small hotel in a central area - This hotel is centrally located in District 1 around the tourist area (as well as close-by to other Districts). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Some rooms are bigger than others, but I think it's a good price for the place you stay. You get a bathroom, fridge, closet, TV, and safe. We were still able to enter the hotel late at night, and the breakfast of eggs, toast, and spreads was good (or you can easily head out to the street for some food). The hotel doesn't have an elevator, which may be useful info for some, and you may wish to book a 2nd floor room if you don't want to head up to floor 4/5. My room wasn't cleaned for the last couple of days I was there, but if that was an issue for me I could have just asked reception.

The staff is absolutely great and very helpful---they couldn't have been kinder. The room was spotless clean and very large. Again, for the price range, I don't see how you could do better. The issue was at 3.30am the ravers head in and at 3.30am, high heels on a tiled floors and stairs, the noise just echoes along with the laughter and talking. But otherwise not to bad.

• larry (8/5): Nice hotel. Close to river for tours. - The hotel was exactly as advertised. The front desk staff spoke enough english to be helpful with booking the bus trip back to saigon for us. The river was only a 3 minute walk to book a trip to the floating market. The staff packed us a snack of bread and cheese and fruit for the tour as we would be gone earlier than their breakfast serving. If I went back to Can Tho I would definetly stay here again.

Steep stairway upstairs to rooms. Entrance to hotel in an alley fifty or so feet from the street - carried my luggage there before I found no room was available. I wouldn't stay in that dump if you paid me.
• Luis (8/5): A nice B&B for tourists. - Although there is heavy traffic(noise) around, it is quiet in the room at night. Room space is OK and clean. Easy to communicate with the receptionist in English with help.

• Ross (10/5): A great stay at Luan Vu. - A fantastic stay at Luan Vu. Our room was on the small side but had everything needed. They were also left spotless every day by the maids - the whole place was, in fact. The 2 girls on reception couldn't be more helpful and organised our trip to the Cu Chi tunnels, which was great. The breakfast options are limited but fresh fruit, juice and toast were all available and the scrambled eggs were amazing. The hotel is located right in the middle of the backpackers area and everything you need is on your doorstep. We'd definitely return to the Luan Vu again.
• Jonathan (8/5): Reasonable hotel - This was a reasonable hotel for the price. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. Quality was outstanding. Location was perfect and convenient. However, the wifi was quite slow and the AC unit took a really long time to warm up.
• Verified traveler (10/5): The Best Hotel on a Budget - Our stay at Luan Vu was perfect. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Housekeeping tidied everything each day. Breakfast was hot and made to order right in the front lobby each morning. Both women running the hotel were friendly and one would be working at all times. They were knowledgeable about the area and where to get the best food. They always greeted us back to the hotel. They were also very trusting! I wanted a water bottle but only had a 500,000 dong note (about 50USD). She let me pay her back when I returned that night with no issue. Check-in and check-out were simple and quick! The location is perfect. It is right by a street full of bars and restaurants but tucked back in an alley.
