- Doreen (7/5): OK for the price - Large room, comfortable king bed. Old motel but some updates and clean. Refrigerator and microwave. No coffee maker, hair dryer, or kleenex. Only one bath towel. Refrigerator was unplugged and heat was off upon arrival, both of which took a while to cool/heat.

- Danielle (8/5): Frills-free place - Clean but dated. A/C worked well, bed was comfy. Shower pressure was very good, but tub could use traction (it was quite slippery). Only one light bulb per fixture (each had space for two), and no closet bar to hang anything on, but for the price, I would stay again.

There is a pool out front, full of water, but not in use this year. Don't know why. It was okay for sleeping only, very depressing otherwise.

The place was spotless. Cleanliness price and location. It was very quiet at night. Also had a working pool for so many places advertised now and don’t have.

They don't have an ice machine and unfortunately the pool wasn't open. But overall a good place to stay for the money.

- Janet (9/5): I will return here because I like the location and the price. - The room was cool whenever returning to it. The great location on the outer edge of town. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were kind and accomodating. The bathroom was very clean. The price was what it needed to be. The room smelt like a strong..cleaning product and whatever was in the air conditioner. Leaving the windows open at night helped dissippate the smell. The sink is not in the same room as the toilet.

- John (1/5): We didn't stay because we were misinformed about the pet policy by Booking.com. - Nothing. We didn't stay there. We searched for a motel in Woodstock, Ontario, on Booking.com, using the "Pet Friendly" filter. Westmount came up in that search and we booked for one night. I sent a message to them to confirm that pets were allowed and they said yes. The day before we were to stay there, Westmount wrote to say they didn't allow pets. I contacted Booking.com by phone (it took three attempts to speak to a person). He said his name was "Lester." He attempted to call Westmount, and when he called back he said no one answered. I have called Westmount; no answer. I have written to Westmount; no response. Because the motel informed us that pets weren't allowed less than a day before we were to stay there, we made arrangements elsewhere (not in Woodstock). Westmount OWES US THE TOTAL PRICE OF THAT ONE NIGHT'S STAY. Booking.com is EQUALLY CULPABLE because they listed this pathetic motel as "pet friendly." We have used Booking.com for years. NEVER AGAIN. Travelers, DO NOT stay at Westmount Motel and DO NOT use Booking.com. Otherwise, we had a pleasant trip across southern Ontario, which we've have been doing for decades.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the motel was very quiet so the cost and location were perfect. The room was missing a facecloth and hand towel but I made do with the shower towel. All in all, I was very happy with my stay. If you are looking for 5-star though, this is not the place. But if you want comfort and economy, book here

- Jean (2/5): - The heightened security in the daytime should have alerted me but this site was dangerous. The door of my unit had obviously been forced open in the past and was only partially repaired. Between 8 pm and 12:30 am someone knocked repeatedly on my door. As a woman on my own, I was terrified. I have stayed often in Woodstock and the last twice has made me uncomfortable but this was awful. Something illegal is going on. The security of the big hotels near the 401 seems to be the only option. Besides the danger, I could not get the room warm and the bed only had a sheet and a thin blanket. I slept, when I could, with a sweater under heavy flannelette pjs and my coat spread over the blanket. Take this place off your site it is awful.
- Patricia (5/5): Adequate. If the items we didn't like were taken care of, it would have been a great deal better. - It was very clean and had been newly painted, the flooring was new as well. The beds were very comfortable. The towels were new and clean. The room was large. We would have liked to have enough towels for everyone, which was requested before we arrived. As others have stated, there was only 1 towel for 3 people. Also, there was no HOT WATER!! I mentioned it to the staff, but nothing was done about it. The room was also very dark - more or better lights would have made it better. The bathroom door did not have a lock on it, nor would it latch. There also was no hangers and the office did not have any, so no place to hang our coats or other items up.

There was only one bath towel and a bath mat. Wasn't a big deal for me as I was alone but I can imagine it would be an issue for some. Couldn't get the TV to show anything but CHCH.

The blankets are soft. I did fine the floors to be cold even after heating the room but nothing slippers can’t fix.

Noisy, fighting, police were there at 3am dealing with trouble. People sitting outside my room in blankets. I could go on.

- Lysa (2/5): - From the inconvenient check in (window) to the loud heater that took all night to warm up to the missing bathtub plug and only 1 towel for 2 adults for 2 nights, that is only the beginning. The cold floors and bare bones rough furniture wasnt appealing. There were holes in the floor and the drawers. The cable didnt work and it took a long time to get even warm water. Unless you just want a place to sleep and leave then stay away!

Needs more lighting, there was a fridge and microwave which was helpful. Very thin walls so i could here neighbours in their rooms and people were gathering and talking outside where the parking was.
