- Ann (2/5): Not for vacation - My husband and i arrived at the West Coast Inns address and looked around for the hotel. There was a small street cafe at the address, so we went in to inquire. Two men who were there-- but only loosely connected to the hotel-- told us that the shabby building surrounding the cafe was the hotel. Broken down railings, peeling paint, cracked sidewalks to the back where the cleaning lady's son led us to show the room. It had no windows, wood peeling off bathroom door and other veneer furniture, general disrepairs. Cleaning lady had made the bed and bathroom clean, but smudges on the wall, grime on the fan/ac unit, and the untended aging of the unit made it totally inhospitable. The only contact with the host was a letter in Spanish which we partially understood, but it said all contact would be remote. We left and found another plave to stay. Our trust in your services, Hotels.com,o is gone.

Our bare feet had a dark layer of dirt after walking around for an hour inside. We don't wear shoes indoors. The whole place has severe water damage after H. Maria; Warped bathroom doors, split night table leg, missing window boarded up. Left early and are looking for a refund.

- Michael (4/5): - Stopped in on a Thursday night. Internet was down. When i contacted desk i was told i would have to wait until Friday 9AM for the guy who handles it. The "guy" who handles that is also the landscaper. Did the same troubleshooting that i did, not resolved. I was then told by front desk she would have to contact the owner. When i returned later that day i was told the cable techs dont work on Saturday or Sundays. Attention owners, empower your people to pick up the phone and call the cable company. Saturday greeted us with no hot water at all. We checked out and went home. Very dissapointed.

- TOM (10/5): Gem of an older property in Rincon - The Inn is under new management so it is a work in progress, BUT the pool is killer, the location is great, fine parking, nice Mexican restaurant in front, price is right. No WiFi in rooms, but the restaurant has it. Refrigerators, microwave, and coffee makers, good sized rooms.

Clean pool with amazing island locals and staff to assist your every need. Our apartment was clean and had every amenity to make it feel like a second home. I will DEFINITELY be revisiting Rincon Inn!

It was a cute little room; nothing fancy and definitely reminded me of my own room back at my family’s house in Puerto Rico lol I guess you’ll get the real feel of the island since that is what most of the actual houses look like! Since I’m from there I don’t expect luxury services and gourmet dishes, you have to be humble & know what you’re paying for! It was a nice room very clean, bathroom was clean and the hot water was a plus! Expect to hear the lovely roosters at 7 am, but that’s another plus you’ll actually feel the real PR experience. The free parking was awesome, overall a good place to stay in Rincón. Remember the price you’re paying lol enjoy the beautiful island there’s so many things to see other than San Juan!

The place didn’t see quite clean and there was a old bar of soap in the shower. Speaking of shower water pressure was intermittent also to use the toilet I had to sit sideways in front of the toilet you had one foot to the wall. The bed wasn’t the best and the sheets were clean but felt like sand paper. And each morning you are woken up by a rooster that’s roaming the pool and parking area out back. They did have a small refrigerator and coffee maker but not filters or coffee or cups so not sure what we are supposed to do with that. Many options around so I think next time I’ll take my chances with them

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Very dirty and smelled like a bathroom. Hallways and room were stuffy. The room was in poor shape. There were stains on the bedding. They claimed there were rules about being near the pool and noise. There were loud people partying until 1am when they said the area by the pool was closed at 8. There was no one on site to enforce the rules. The lobby sign said open at 9:30 am and it wasn’t open by 10:30. The voice mail was full. There was nothing positive about the Rincon Inn. We stayed one night and then moved to a different hotel. We would not have stayed even one night but we arrived late in the evening.
- Maria (2/5): Place is no good - It was a depressing stay the roof was about to fall into pieces the bed was super hard 2 small soaps just one roll of paper no hot water only 2 electrical plugs were working the dish controller had no batteries the futton looked warm out you could feel the springs trough the mattress the coffee maker didn’t have any filters I called her after the check in to ask if she had another room she didn’t answer and did not call asked her how to check out didn’t answer good thing there were people cleaning and told me how to check out the place is a disaster wouldn’t stay there even if they pay me I thought that the bad reviews was just the people but I had to see that the people were right they just work remote nobody works there just on Sunday no good

No cleaning service for room during 5 night stay, had a bag of towels and sheets dropped off outside door one day. Bathroom door literally hung by 1 hinge, impossible to close, no came to fix it until hour before departure, A very worn place. Refrigerator made horrendous noise throughout the night. I can go on but you can get the idea. This should’ve been a $45/night place. Not what I paid but I get demand was high week we went and lodging became scarce for short notice booking. Good thing is we had a sense of humor and have unforgettable memories staying above Nacho Libre!

Next thing we noticed was it was located on a main road. One reason we went down there was to relax. We felt that a bar on the first floor with people drinking and music and being a busy road would not allow to do that. Also what we saw on the webb site was not what we saw in reality. So we left to Boquerón. We stayed at Vista de Bahia.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Last option - The place was simple but need a upgrade in everything (furniture, utilities, ect.) they were really in a bad shape even the ceiling. The wi fi was very slow and the noise from the street it will get in your nerves at some point at night. They won't give you a proper check out before 10am if you want to leave early. So as a vacational place not recommended do be fool by the pool and the mini golf "is under construction" and for one night this better be your last option.

- Kerry (6/5): Cheap, safe place to stay - Hotel is in pretty rough shape, but it’s fairly clean. We were only given coffee filters for our first day there, so we only had coffee the first day. Extra fine print not mentioned on website pictured below. Redeeming factor: the inn is near an awesome location and there are lots of fantastic restaurants in easy walking distance. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

At check-in, we were informed that the wifi probably did not reach the room and that's the way it was. The cleaning very poor, the room had a bad smell. The room needed a good cleaning and the walls needed to be painted. The sheets on the beds were clean though, so old they were stained. The only good thing was the air conditioners, they cooled the room well despite how big it is. They should improve the conditions, the place has potential. The Nacho Libre restaurant is a plus, very good place to have drinks.
- Jose (2/5): - Terrible experience. The place too scary. Dirty. Futons instead of bed. Gururniture very damaged. Terrible smell.
- LucasBennazar (4/5): - No hot water. Loose paint on roofs. Broken cabinets. Lizards inside the room.
- Jessica (10/5): - This is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a reasonably priced, clean, comfortable room. The pool was great, area for barbecue. All around perfect for the time we spent there.
