Bardzo spokojny i regenerujący pobyt. Domki i cały obszar bardzo dobrze wyposażony, można korzystać z lodówek plażowych i termosów, dostępna kawa, można też kupić napoje. Bardzo bardzo mili właściciele, można się poczuć zaopiekowanym. Obiekt posiada też swoją aplikację, gdzie można znaleźć mnóstwo ciekawostek i wskazówek na zwiedzanie. Blisko jest też siedlisko flamingów. Szczerze polecam.

- Kristina (8/5): Great place for great relaxing experience - The place literally has everything you need and more, from kitchen appliances to snorkelling gear. Our palapa was clean, quiet and yes hot, but for this you have A/C and a fan. The communication was perfect. Danita and her colleagues are super friendly and accommodating hosts. Def mosquitoes. There was a net on top of the bad which I highly recommend to use but even with it I ended up bitten multiple times.

Een soort groene oase waar je echt even tot rust komt. Overal zie je dieren: grote leguanen die rustig rondlopen en kleine kolibries die voorbij schieten. Het zwembad is ook top, zeker na een warme dag. De palapa’s (huisjes met palmdak) zijn gewoon goed: netjes, met airco en prima sanitair. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er. In de buurt liggen zoutpannen waar je regelmatig flamingo’s kunt spotten, wat het extra bijzonder maakt. Wat vooral opvalt is het team. Ze zijn vriendelijk, makkelijk benaderbaar en denken met je mee. Je krijgt ook goede tips om het eiland te ontdekken. Al met al een aanrader voor wie Curaçao actief wil verkennen en liever niet in de drukte van grote resorts en volle stranden zit. Eigenlijk niets.

This was my first solo trip, and from the very first day I felt safe, seen, and truly at home. Danita is not only a wonderful host but also a very warm and supportive person. Her kindness and openness made this stay something truly special. Ben, Danita’s parents, and the entire team also contributed so much to making this visit unforgettable – you can truly feel the heart and love they put into this place. I could come to Danita with any concern at any time, and she always helped with great insider tips. The app is very well organized, authentic, and thoughtfully designed. The beautiful garden with its many plants, Charlie the cat, Mijko, and the two donkeys made the place feel magical 🐾🌿 The pool was always very clean and had a pleasant temperature. I also loved the open kitchen, the drinks fridge, and the coffee machine that were available at any time. The accommodation itself is a dream: rustic, cozy, and equipped with everything you could need. I was lucky to meet wonderful people there and can wholeheartedly recommend Mondi Lodge. If I ever return to this beautiful island, this will definitely be my first choice. I will miss this place, the animals, and especially the amazing people very much. My solo trip was wonderful, and it was exactly here that I found the courage for many more adventures to come ✨

The lodge has a warm, relaxed atmosphere and you can feel the love and care that went into creating the place. Check-in was easy and personal, and communication with the host was always quick, clear and genuinely friendly. Nothing felt “standard” or rushed – they really take the time for you and are happy to help with tips for beaches, restaurants and things to do on the island. The bungalow was cozy, spotless and very comfortable. The bed slept great, the air conditioning worked well and the Wi-Fi was reliable. I also really liked the small kitchen setup, which made it easy to prepare something simple when I didn’t feel like going out. The bathroom was clean, with a good shower and enough towels. The location is perfect: nicely tucked away in nature so it feels peaceful and private, but still only a short drive to Willemstad, supermarkets and some of the most beautiful beaches. Having a rental car is definitely useful, and there was always safe parking available on the property. What I loved most about Mondi Lodge were all the small details: • The lush garden and the feeling of being surrounded by nature • The quiet, relaxed vibe – ideal to unwind after a day of exploring • The kindness and warmth of the people running the place Overall, my stay at Mondi Lodge was more than just “accommodation” – it was an experience. - Katherine (10/5): Piece of paradise in the beauty of nature minutes from Willemstad - The staff at Mondi Lodge are an absolute treasure! We were welcomed with warm enthusiasm and left with genuine hugs. This little family is wonderful and we are going to miss them. It was lovely to sit by the pool & chat or have a dip late in the evening. The Yuana treehouse is beautifully incorporated into a giant ficus tree that has a lovely upper deck where you can enjoy the bird song. And there is plenty of bird song! We saw birds in many colours and sizes enjoying the flowers & trees. The landscaping creates a magical pocket of paradise 15 minutes from the city proper. It was a great way to enjoy the culture of Willemstad, local beaches, and the natural beauty of Curacao. For any under the LGBT flag, you have found a welcoming and safe space at Mondi Lodge. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I made the mistake of splitting my week in Curacao between Mondi Lodge and another resort.

But luxurious to soak in after a long day. Bed was very comfortable and spacious. There is a lot of mosquitoes but that’s not really the properties fault.

Perfect. Our little lodge fullfilled all our wishes. Very lovely located between beautiful plants and with 2 little housefriends, small lizards, as a bonus! In the morning we loved to wake up with all the variaty of bird singing. A pool next to the lodge, a lovely veranda with a roof van, lounge chairs to relax. Every now and than an big iguana walked passed our lodge. If you pay attention and sit still for a while you could even spot a little hummingbird. It was like living in a small, green, carribic paradise. We enjoyed ever minute!!! EVERYTHING!!!!❤️

There are so many beautiful plants on the whole area as well as a lot of birds and reptiles. We didn't have any problems with mosquitoes. The breakfast was so delicious and it was a pleasure to be greeted every morning by the very friendly Ben. The online guest book was really helpful with all the recommendations. The traffic noise can be annoying sometimes but that's not the fault of the hosts.

- Georgi (10/5): The coolest place to stay in Curaçao. - I have been to over 90 countries and have stayed in countless hotels of all kinds. The Mondi Lodge is amongst the most memorable, special places I have ever had the pleasure to stay in, and I can't recommend it highly enough in every way. The people who own and run it are fantastic, the grounds are full of beautiful plants and animals, it has a cool pool area with a kitchen and a trust fridge full of drinks, you can drink the tap water, the breakfast is really tasty, with a different special every morning, its close to town, but beautifully quiet so you can hear birdsong not diesel engines, and all the rooms are wee separate houses, so no noise from other guests either. I chose the tree house room...the clue is in the name....and yes, its a 2 storey wooden house built round a banyan tree, with an outdoor shower, really comfortable big bed, and just the coolest terrace upstairs, with a fridge and kitchen area, where I actually spent so much time swinging in a hammock, I could hardly be bothered going out to see any of Curaçao's beaches. It is really, really special. Nothing to do with the hotel...but Curaçao is crowded with mosquitoes....between 6 and 8 at either end of the day, wear repellent or long sleeves, trousers. especially is you intend to fall asleep in a hammock😅

They are very accommodating if you have any food preferences. (Always try the daily special!) WiFi worked good, plenty of parking. It's a 10-15min drive to the city. We didn't find this inconvenient at all. It was nice to relax outside of the hustle and bustle. Can't wait to spend another weekend here. The property is completely different then a traditional hotel feel and we loved it. It felt like home. Although, I don’t have an outdoor shower at home. Might have to get one, but not sure that will work for the cold winters in NY. Being a family of animal lovers, we enjoyed the dogs. Atsu was a family favorite and lounged with us later in the evening by the pool. The breakfast was always delicious...wish I had that banana pancake recipe. Yum. They accommodated my daughters food allergy and made gluten free delicious options as well. Which can be a challenge! Barbel was so thoughtful and made our children’s birthdays that they celebrated while on vacation extra special with a card, gift, and a special breakfast dessert. - Xaviera (10/5): Mondi Lodge= Above & Beyond A+ Expedia= Rip off F- - We settled on staying at the Mondi Lodge after reading all the positive reviews and hoping for a more personal experience...and we got just that! All of the staff were super helpful and friendly and I don't think our visit to Curacao would've been as great without them there. Breakfast was AMAZING every morning and they all took the time to go through our itinerary for the day and give us some recommendations and what to do and where to eat. Danita even took us to some snorkeling spots and hung out with us on one of her days off, which we really appreciated, and she also gifted us a bottle of champagne upon hearing about my graduation. The individual cabanas/huts made it feel very exclusive and private. We loved the dogs, cats, and all the other animals on the property, they are super sweet and friendly. Overall, staying at the Mondi Lodge was an absolutely fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend this place to others. *I would highly recommend renting a car to get around, but for the sake of your wallet do not I repeat DO NOT get the rental insurance offered by Expedia. At the time it seemed like a deal and I didn't want to risk the car rental company charging us like crazy once we got there, but it's a rip off. The insurance states that it is "valid," and it technically is, but you'd better have an additional $800 for a deposit to use it! And the car rental's insurance ended up being same price!*

The staff is super friendly and accommodating and is perfect to just sleep, have breakfast and spend your day doing activities and the beach. The AC is cold, the coffee is strong, the bathroom is clean and the bed is a little on the firm side. Definitely rent a car if you're staying here, we visited for a wedding and it proved invaluable. 2 minute drive from the beach, 20 minutes from the airport and 30 from the downtown area. - Faraud (10/5): The Perfect Blend! - Mondi Lodge, a perfect blend on nature and paradise! Outstanding staff, who will prepare the best breakfast you will ever have. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and the amazing staff at Mondi Lodge makes it a meal you do not want to miss. Being able to sit down and have a fresh meal to start the day, and a delightful conversation to help you plan your day. Comfort that is incredibly hard to match. Waking up is a challenge but the smell of some delicious fresh toast would surly do the trick. My girlfriend and I stayed for a few days but everything was outstanding, we really felt at home. Danita will surly make you feel as if you're staying at a family remember, by even lending you a phone and making herself available 24/7. Her and her amazing team are one of the best! I would highly recommend staying here, I truly believe it is the best place in Curacao! Pros: In a convenient location. Amazing Staff and Breakfast Eco Friendly Comfort beyond imagine Cons: Will not really cons, but if you are not a dog person or animal person in general, this is not the place for you. Mondi Lodge gives you a great feeling of nature and paradise, which includes animals roaming around. Just a heads up there is no microwave, if that is something you are looking for, but there is a kitchen area, and an amazing pool!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful, unique & well-maintained - This was a great choice, close to one of the island's best (and free) beaches, Kokomo and close enough to downtown Punda to be able to enjoy restaurants and the like there. Great staff, no bug issues at all, beautiful pool, delicious breakfasts, relaxing pool and spacious rooms with a lot of amenities. The maps.me free app, which doesn't require an Internet connection to let you know where you are and in what direction you are headed is a big plus, if driving. And one needs a car, if you stay here -- which you should!
- Jaime (10/5): Fantastic bungalows right in the middle of Curacao - Mondi Lodge was the perfect spot to stay with my wife during our honeymoon. We had our own private cabana that was perfect in every way, the staff at Mondi Lodge was FANTASTIC and helped us plan each day (as well as spoiled us with some champagne upon our arrival!), and the location was perfect for exploring every day. We loved it and can't wait to go back!

With two wonderful hosts who prepare a fantastic breakfast each morning, your journey starts off on the right foot in Curacao. Easily navigate from here to all the best beaches or find comfort in the shade of your private palapa. A hammock, mini fridge (cold storage), travel cooler and other amenities are offered for your convenience. The Mondi is like coming home, if you feel at home with nature, animals and loving energies. There is a peaceful spirit here that will certainly nurture the weary, embrace the travel-hungry and fortify the explorer.

- Marc (10/5): Privacy and personal attention in private cottages - Just a wonderful place to stay if you're looking to have your own private little cottage. The owners (Danita and Jairo) are just wonderful. They are very approachable, real, people that were very helpful in planning our activities. Once they get to know you and your interests, they aren't afraid to suggest changes to your original plans to make sure you have the best time possible. Their suggestions were spot on, too! The place itself was very quiet, clean, and beautiful. The breakfasts were fantastic. Danita is a wonderful cook her breakfast specials were great. They were happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements. We were able to relax by the pool by ourselves, and also used the onsite BBQ to have inexpensive meals (there is a nearby grocery store). Just a wonderful place and we would definitely return if we went back to the island.
- Ron (8/5): Mondi fun! - Danita and Jairo as well as their family run Mondi and are just great people. They are the staff. Great breakfasts. Personal service was great. They even helped me with a minor transportation emergency so they will go out of their way. The only thing you must be aware of is roosters. Yes, roosters near the property and even far but I heard about 4 of them within earshot. Very loud and sometimes they will go at it all night while other nights they will wake you around 5 a.m. each night. Outside of that issue only, it was perfect.
- Thomas (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful, friendly getaway - I spent a weekend there during a business trip to Curacao and other countries in the region. The owners, Danita and Jairo were wonderful hosts who treated me like family. The lodge is small, with about 4 double rooms spread out in separate huts all new and tastefully furnished, set in beautiful grounds, teaming with exotic local wildlife, including hummingbirds and iguanas. The location is ideal in my opinion, very quiet and peaceful but close enough to the nightlife of Wilemstad and the beaches near Blue Bay. Curacao is small and the roads are decent so every part of the island is accessible within an hour or so. There is no restaurant in the lodge yet, though they plan to open one, however they do serve an excellent freshly prepared breakfast and there are plenty of good restaurants within a short drive away. They also have a barbecue in case you want to do your own cooking. Overall, I loved my stay here and cannot recommend the place highly enough. I will certainly return there on the next occasion I visit Curacao.
