• Lithebe (7/5): beuatiful sttay indeed - perfect stay, next to the airport. It is indeed convenient for a one-night stay when a person is in transit and it is affordable. The gentleman who welcomed us was welcoming and willing to assist though it was very late just wish they could have clean blankets on the side in case of coldness. the ones that I saw were torn other than that it was good

No shower gels in the room, not everyone would go for a bar soap. What I saw online is not what I paid at the lodge..I was charged more,so not a good experience. I had booked a room for 1 adults n 2 kids and chose triple single beds for R760per night but on arrival that room wasn't there and was given a double bed with a single bed for R900 and paid R850/night This is way too much for a room per night,I had to move out to another place the following day .I had 4 more nights to spend in Joburg.and I found a 5 star hotel at half this price per night near the airport for that matter. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are stranded and desperate, it's not value for money,look around first there are better reasonable options. Try SUN1 first,you will love it.

• Linda (5/5): The Lodge is fine , if only you could fumigate the place from time to time. - We did not have breakfast The Apartment is fine . it needs cleaning up and fumigation as there were lots of cockroaches in the kitchen and bedrooms. The shower needs scrubbing . the Tv was not working. As this is a self catering Apartment it would help to keep crockery, cutlery and glassware that will cater for 6 people.

They let me shower in an empty guest room after I had already checked out and had returned from an activity. The owner scheduled a car to take me to the airport. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very pleasant. Can't think of anything I didn't like. Maybe the location because it was a bit of a perilous walk to a store.

Other guests were dodgy and drinking alcohol and smoking weed around the units. The bed was old and had a dent in the middle that made sleeping uncomfortable

Repace curtains blinds, beds matresses linnen, blankets, duvets. furniture and bedside lamps. To their credit they gave a complete refund !

• Odwa (4/5): Ok - I pre-arranged a taxi for the pick up at the airport and was notified via email to call the hotel Upon my arrival and the taxi would soon thereafter come since there is parking issues at the airport. When I arrived, which was an evening flight, I called the hotel as per arrangement to me disappointment, I was told no arrangement has been made despite the trail of paper and I would take an Uber. I soon thereafter did that and upon my arrival at the lodge I was pleasantly met by Blessing (staff member) who assisted me with my bags and he took me to the reception area. When I got to the reception area, I was attended to my a passive person with a very dismissive attitude. Despite that, I requested to be taken to the airport at 5 AM in the morning so that I could be there at 5:30 and there was no issue with that. In the morning when I approached the person I was unpleasantly dismissed and told that I had said 5:30, yes I was taken to the airport, as we were heading to the airport, I reiterated what I had said about being taken to the airport @ 5 and no apology was tendered. The person who took me to the airport is the same person who attended me at the reception area. Thank God, I made it shortly before they could close the gates, and that would not have been the case if the person had paid attention to the request. Secondly the Wi-Fi wasn’t working at all. The only great thing about the place is that it’s close to the airport. It is also relatively clean and was provided with extra blankets since there was no heater. Was more dissatisfied with the staff, otherwise, apart from the Wi-Fi that wasn’t working, I was satisfied with the services. Ideal for an overnight stay! Attitude of the receptionist or owner of the place. Has passive aggression.
• Frans (2/5): Worst every - There was no lodge at the end of the directions i got form the app and i need to call the lodge 3 times before i got answer and just to hear they are close and i was force to book in someplace else.
