• Stephen (8/5): A pillow, a sheet and a towel - Have stayed here often for one night stays when visiting relatives. Basically just needed a place to rest our heads. Good size queen room with loveseat, tv, microwave, bar fridge and extra bathroom sink outside the bathroom. Rooms are outdated, blanket had holes, and shower tiles cracked. However rooms, towels and linens were extremely clean. Basic amenities included soap and shampoo. Directly off the expressway with a Tim Hortons directly across the street. Quick and personable check-in. Notably the Holiday Inn Express (less than 10 minutes away) offered a bereavement rate of $350 + tax. All we needed was a pillow, a towel and a sheet. We got this and more at the Ivy Rose for less than $90 all in. Great price point.

• Anne (4/5): - The room was clean but the furnishings were tired. The bedspread had 4 holes in it which might have been from a smoker but it was advertised as a non smoking room. The bed was a double but I had booked a queen size. The entry door was in terrible shape…had chunks out of it. The staff person agreed to change the bedspread and this was done the next morning. Had to leave the room before the office opened so arranged that I could leave the key in the room and they would email me the receipt because it was not ready until we checked out. I am still waiting for this email.

• Margaret (4/5): - Very run down place. Needs a paint job and renovation. I booked a non-smoking room and the room was full of a tabacco smell. Made it difficult to breathe or sleep. There was a large crack in the wall above the bed. On the plus side, the room was large and there was a fridge and microwave. Front desk clerk was pleasant.

They decided to upgrade us without our knowledge, To a dirty room no sheets, found hair extensions under the sink. Anyway not coming back anymore.

When I opened up the drapes, the windows were boarded up with wood inside. Looked like a dump. Our family were scared! My wife and I went to the front desk to complain (Around 2 pm) and was offered to switch our room when someone cancels and would call my cell. We left for our wedding and reception@ 2:10 pm. with all our luggage. By 9pm, no one from called find us another room. We asked 3x and the motel refused to give us refund to a room they should not have never assigned to us. We feel cheated and working with Expedia to get refund.

I waited there for half hour before going back to the front desk and was told that room isnt good heres another room. I get to the new room that wasnt ready either. They finally gave me keys to a 3rd room and the key didnt even open the door properly. I was given a fake 10 dollar bill for how long everything was taken. Reluctant to say, i will not be back.

• Christine (4/5): - The Motel appears to be in the process of renovating sections. I accidently requested a smoking room and my e-mail to the establishment requesting a change went unanswered. The room itself was quite large but was unloved by the owners. New customers should be kept in newly renovated rooms in my opinion, not in dirty ones with peeling paint or no paint at all. Someone did paint over lightswitche plates. There was a list of towels supposedly supplied for the bathroom which was incomplete. I had no washcloths. There was no housekeeping service so I did not receive shampoo ( tiny,tiny bottles initially supplied ) Face cloths never did appear! The pillows had double pillow cases and I was afraid to look at the actual pillow. On my final day I drove to the office to drop off the key. It was 6 am so I knew it would be closed. There was no key drop off box/slot. I had to drive back to the room and just lock it inside. Whenever I make a complaint I also add suggestions as per protocol aty employment. My biggest suggestion is to give the very best service possible. Answer emails when guests request room change. Always put your best rooms forward,not smelly, old, disrepaired rooms in a dark back section of the property near the smelly dumpster. Know your customer- single ladies don't enjoy being placed in sketchy back sections of a large motel property near smelly dumpsters where people can hide. If no services are offered (housekeeping ) Please hand out literature stating so.

• John (6/5): Fair deal - I needed a place to sleep. Highway noise nearby wàs easy enough to get used to, not that loud. Good for the couple of nights i stayed in Windsor. Had to ask for receipts for the two nights and deposit.
• Shehnaj (8/5): - Overall, it was good experience. The property was old and needs maintenance like improved heating and lighting. It was bit cold and heating system was too slow. However, the staff was cooperative and offered us more blankets.

The parking lot in the back by those apartments is gravel while supposed to be gravel there isn't one stitch of gravel there it's muddy it's dirty and behind the the garages the little storage buildings that are out there is a whole bunch of garbage and stuff from transient people. It all needs to be dealt with

• HIDEKI (2/5): Check in time - I made a reservation with the comment that I would arrive around 11pm, but after making the reservation I found out that the check in time was until 10pm, I hurried, but when I arrived at 10:30pm it was closed and the intercom and phone were not working.
• Patricia (2/5): - The place is run down and needs to be renovated. The carpets are dirty and we’re never swept. The bed was old and badly stained. The sheets were clean but never changed while we were there in 12 days. Towels were changed. It is not a 5 rating but a 3 or less in my opinion. We had a very bad investigation of ants. We bought ant spray and traps to deal with the bugs. The office staff were not concerned about the bugs. Also many drug dealers frequently milled around the premises. Hotels.Co would do well not to advertise this property in my opinion.
• Sarah (4/5): - Did not realize that the hotel was in a area of Windsor that is high traffic for homelessness. He was rudely awoken at 6:45 in the morning from a elderly man who was drunk asking for a ride to the airport. Guess this could happen at any hotel but at the end of the day when I’m spending $78 plus tax night I expect a little bit more security.
• MELISSA (4/5): - The tub in our room was very rusty. The room smelled heavily of smoke covered up with cleaner. The toilet barely worked. The only way to lock the door from the outside was with the knob lock. Could’ve easily kicked the door in. There was an old dirty mattress on the ground behind our room. Very sketchy area. Rooms on the other side seemed a bit in a better area. Cheap rate, get what you pay for.
• Jennifer K (8/5): - We didnt mind booking an older place, but expected at least new bedding, and a better secure door. The quilt had holes, and was pretty aged. The mattress, was not padded, very hard. Many of the outlets would not hold the plogs in place, we managed to find one, husband has a C=cap machine.Door frame was in need of fixing, and had to jimmy door knob to get the door open.
