Kenmeth (4/5): Rubbish - It was noisy you could hear all the floors creak and doors closing, people walking from rooms above. The door didnt open everytime. The water was cold so couldnt have shower and the heating was locked on low. The tv had a mind of its own kept going off.

BEIYI (10/5): - Our room had been upgraded due to some pipe problems. We stayed in a three bedroom apartment with a huge kitchen and living room.
John (4/5): Disappointing - We arrived to no staff as it was a public holiday in France. It was 40 degrees and we spent a while trying to find the room as there is no map in reception. The apartment was hot and stuffy and they only provided one fan for the whole space (2 bedrooms and large kitchen/living area.) I emailed to request another fan but had no reply. The beds were rock hard, but the worst issues was the smell of the drains that run just outside. It was horrific. We would not stay here again.

Rien n’a été fait par la direction qui ne m’a pas contactée. Personnel au téléphone indiffferent. Sauf 1. Un autre m’a raccroché au nez et personne sur place. Très très déçue par la direction qui se fiche de sa clientèle ….

Christophe (10/5): Propre et calme - Très bel appartement en Rez de Jardin. Intérieur très sympa et propre. Le petit bémol pour moi est le manque de confort ds salon pour regarder tv, deux fauteuils droits incroyables. Salle de bain propre avec douche italienne. Pas de Tv dans la chambre contrairement aux photos du site.
Karine (10/5): à recommander - la belle chambre avec sa petite cuisine sont trés agréables.la fenetre était coté cour donc silencieuse par rapport à la circulation. l'acceuil a été trés agréable. a noter que le service petit déjeuner (box à 15€ à commander ) n'existe plus mais il y a une boulangerie à 5 mn et tout ce qui faut à coté trés trés bien qualité prix

We supposed to get a code to get in, but that didn't come till the very last minute. I called a few times but they didn't call back. Because there was no one to check us in, they wanted to make sure that we pay. But they had my credit card info through Hotels.com so I don't understand what the issue was.

L (10/5): Highly recommended for personality and comfort - The building is beautiful and in a great location - less than 5 minutes walk from the centre/old historic streets. The room was large and airy, the bed incredibly comfortable (a firm mattress) and the bathroom beautifully decorated with a window (floor to ceiling length, stained glass, beautiful!) that opened. Hot, powerful shower. The building is stunning, so much character. The one small negative was mixed communication - all the emails we had from the hotel were in French (understandably) and all said the check in would "greeting on arrival", so we waited around at 4pm to be met. When nobody came and another coupel arrived and put a pin code into the keypad we trawled through the emails again to find a code and this let us in. It wasn't clear though. A very small negative, in what was a very enjoyble stay.

We were in one of the streetfront ground floor suites but it was very quiet and the courtyard is lovely. The well equipped kitchen made for a seamless dinner and enjoyable stay. Interior courtyard parking is a bonus.

Cela dit malgré que le chauffage soit à fond, il faisait assez froid dans la chambre et surtout dans la salle de bain dont le carrelage était en plus glacé. Donc je conseille cet établissement, pour un voyage d'affaire ou bien en couple, mais pas en hiver.

Dorothy (8/5): A chance to stay in a beautiful converted property - The weather was very hot and the fan supplied was useful but didn’t cool the room sufficiently to sleep well. The conversion of the old property was excellent, with many original features, but provision for air conditioning perhaps could have been incorporated. The fridge door could only be opened with a central knob which made the door very difficult to open. Instructions for the induction hob would have been useful. A frying pan would be useful to held prepare simple meals.

gordon (10/5): - The rooms are huge and bright. Everything is in white except the floors which are antique wood. Two huge windows look onto the backyard. The bathroom is large and clean and has a huge shower head. The room has a small fridge and microwave along with a few dishes. The only thing I would have liked would be a breakfast room where they serve breakfast.

Kae (10/5): French elegance - We were pleasantly surprised to be able to open the gate and park in the front lot of the house. We were in the middle of Limoges did not want to have to find street parking. Because we arrived on the weekend, special arrangements were made which worked beautifully, although we did have a friend who spoke French respond to their email and translate the instructions. We never did see a manager during our stay but it didn't matter at all. The house was elegant and the room had high ceilings and floor to ceiling French door windows. Because there was no AC we were able to open the window near the bed and sleep well with a cool night breeze. The room had an efficiency kitchen which we didn't need but nice to have. Two blocks away was the historic center of Limoges which is full of restaurants and pubs. The area was #1 site to explore in Limoges and our restaurant was the #1 choice of Travel Advisor. This was a memorable and restful stay.
SCOTT (10/5): Superb stay - Beautiful building, beautiful town. My only minor gripe was that in evenings it was very hot in the rooms in the top floor, and opening the windows too much could allow mosquitos in. Ideally it could do with air conditioning. Aside from that - perfect stay, I'd highly recommend it!

martin (10/5): perfection and location - what a gem! secure and discreet luxury 5 minutes from the town centre. we were greeted with such charm and enthusiasm by the manager who was delightful and totally committed to making our stay enjoyable and comfortable despite being in the centre of hosting the top chefs from Toque et porcelaine event at the hotel. the room and hotel are perfect and very contemporary, clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable. we would stay here again and can highly recommend the hotel and limoges.

Beautiful building in a great location. Secure parking and an easy 5 minute walk into town. Good facilities - loved the stained glass. Good variety of restaurants, museums and cinemas at an easy distance on foot. Really loved our stay. The covered market was amazing and provided a couple of tasty meals for us. Highly recommend.
Maria (6/5): Nice but there was nobody there - The hotel itself (or more accurately apartment or chalet as they called it) is nice, clean, comfortable, and close to the center. However, there was no-one there to check us in or out. We were scheduled to arrive late in the evening and fount it impossible to contact the staff/owners to arrange access (Expedia helped tremendously, just a day before the flight). It is not good to experience such uncertainty when travelling with a small child. Otherwise, the staff/owners were friendly. We would recommend the city for a weekend break.

Alan (6/5): Conveniently situated hotel to explore Limoges. - The building is impressive and really well located if you're looking to explore Limoges. We had apt 7 on the top floor, the stairs aren't too demanding if you've kept the wine consumption moderate at dinner! The room was comfortable but a little basic - no mirror, very wobbly table, toilet roll only on demand! The tiny kitchenette still contained food items left by previous guests - boxes of Quinoa, Couscous and Pasta. Overall, nice, but lacks attention to detail and some basics. Stayed 4 nights and nobody came to clean the room at anytime!

Max (8/5): A Night In Limoges! - Spent one night but if we had the time, we would have stayed longer. All rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor, with no elevator. Other then that, great property and friendly staff.

Jayne (4/5): Not inspiring from the outside.Ok inside and clean - Never met anyone to show us our apartment as we phoned for the gate pass in order to get into the grounds and were left the key in the door to enter our accommodation. We had the "chalet" above the garage which looked rather run down from the outside but was fine inside and modern. The wooden winding stairs to get to the "chalet" didn't look very stable and in fact had supports under them to prop them up. Mugs hadn't been washed properly by cleaner but luckily we had our own.
