Guest Reviews
- Chiodini (10/5): -
- Jan (10/5): A very pleasant stay. The staff were all helpful and friendly. - Beautiful old hotel with fantastic art, rooftop terrace, comfortable beds. Dresser drawers and ample hangars in closet for unpacking. When it is hot the room is hot and though they provide fans, the street noise in our room prevented us from leaving the windows open on that side. There was only one working outlet in the room.
- Nataly (9/5): Quaint hotel in Downtown Taxco. - The ladies at the front desk were super friendly and helpful, the room was ample and it had a fan, the beds and pillows were comfortable. The best part was the restaurant connected to the hotel, it was a great value and tasty meal. The drainage cap/filter in the shower was loose, which made my experience a little uncomfortable as I and my 5 year old would have to avoid stepping on it to stop from tripping while showering.
- Peter (10/5): Beautiful Hacienda in the centre of town. - The property was beautiful. It was like stepping back in time.
Close to every thing. Bus station, Silver Market, zocalo and cathedral.
The room and bathroom are spacious and we had a lovely view.
We did request a room away from the noise. Because we had a fan we could close the windows and slept well. There are alot of stairs so would suggest requesting a ground floor room if mobility is an issue.
- Viviana (9/5): Quaint, old world hotel near the plaza. - The property is within walking distance of the central plaza. The staff are wonderful, but be aware the front desk staff have limited English skills. Since it is close to the cathedral the church bells ring early. Also, my room was faced a bar the played musics well into the night. Closing the windows helped and since I was there in February I was able to do so.
- Bravo (10/5): -
- neksanchez (10/5): Amazing hotel! - The hotel was very clean and had an authentic Mexican ambiance. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. It has a restaurant, but we didn’t have time to try it. The location is perfect for walking around town. Highly recommended.
- Ross (9/5): Very enjoyable and well located. - Fantastic views of the city from the terrace… Really in the centre of action.
- Rodriguez Malagon (10/5): -
- Araceli (10/5): - This place was perfect! The location was ideal. A quick few seconds away from the main plaza and church but not too close to hear all the noise. The staff was great and the place was clean.

- lkfrazer66 (10/5): Great place to stay right on the Malecon! - Loved this hotel- great location with excellent staff and great food and pools. We ate the breakfast and dinner buffets and every lunch we had the homemade chips, guacamole and Pico de gallo at the pool. Bars are open at 10am. The adult-only infinity pool is great. The rooms have a safe, tv, mini fridge with daily bottled water. We stayed long enough to get 2 nites of speciality dinners off the menu and they were spectacular! Loved the location to walk to the street tacos, 2 breweries, Canopy Rivers Razr tours. No complaints. We will be back!
- Ronny (8/5): Taxco will exceed your expectations—plan to add extra nights to your trip. - A beautiful spot to explore Taxco, just steps from the cathedral and nearby restaurants. The internet requires a paper password daily, which doesn’t work properly, so you have to ask staff for support every day.

- Robert (10/5): Lovely colonial hotel. - Charming - nice public spaces. Traffic noise was bad in our room all night.

- Marc (8/5): Bien - Le bâtiment Le bruit ambiant
- Helga (8/5): -
- Joyce (10/5): - We loved the antiques, the staff was friendly and the facilities were very clean and comfortable. The stairways and aisles were not lit enough at nighttime.
- Enrique (10/5): Fantastic - Location and hotel property Traditional property
- Alaa (9/5): Beautiful, unique. Good choice - Unique old building. Full of history, architecture and esthetics. Stunning view. Don’t miss the roof Too basic facilities.
- Cidalisa (10/5): - No hot water in afternoon as they were cleaning the tanks.
- Stuart Hamilton (10/5): - A historic property positioned central to attractions and wonderful staff. They also feed the stray perros of Taxco so if you're a dog lover, support these good people.
- Jose Angel (8/5): - Great stay-We would stay there again.
- Daniel (10/5): Magico! - Service, appearance, views - espectular! WiFi mucho inestabil
- oscar (10/5): - Front desk staff friendly and helpful about giving directions and recommendations
- Beatriz (10/5): - The staff was very friendly. The room was reasonably priced. The room was big enough. The bathroom was small, BUT it had all the necessary items. The fan was of great use because Taxco is stuffy/humid. Thank you for welcoming us to Taxco. I will recommend the hotel to family and friends.

- Rodolfo (10/5): Excellent place yo rest - Room facilites aré awesome, a very nice place yo rest
- Gerardo (10/5): - Buen servicio y atención. Algunas toallas estaban mal lavadas (tenían olor).
- Silvia (9/5): -
- Zarza (8/5): -
- Carisa (8/5): Nice! - The rooms are OK. The hotel directly across the street has a great breakfast an excellent coffee. The hotel architecture and upkeep is stunning. I like the location a lot and I would definitely stay here again. This situation with the Internet, there is more bizarre than any place. I’ve been anywhere in the world. You have to reset your Internet with a different code every single day and a different code for each of your electronic devices. There were times that I could not use the Internet because my code had expired And I was already in bed and didn’t wanna get dressed to go down to the lobby and get a new code. Very inconvenient. I was there for five days so with multiple different devices that meant that I had to keep putting in new codes. Very annoying.
Their desk staff does not speak English, which is cool, just be aware of that.
- Todd (10/5): - Excellent location and a very friendly staff.
- Alicia (9/5): Charming stay in the center of town - The hotel is beautiful. Walking into the main patio is a dream - and then there is also the views from the terrace. The hotel feels very calm, and like an oasis from the very busy main street. The location was perfect for us - we were able to walk to our tour, as well as different restaurants for dinner and the main square was just a 5 minute walk away. It was nice to be able to escape the busy streets by ducking into our hotel. Would highly recommend. There wasn't anything that I didn't like - but note that if you are sensitive to car smells, the window to our room was above the main road and sometimes the exhaust would get into the room.

- Ivette (10/5): Taxco’s Hotel Los Arcos is highly recommended!!! - Taxco is worth staying at least one night (Friday👍👍). Hotel Los Arcos is the perfect location with the most charm, comfort and friendliness! So convenient to be one block from the “zocalo” and at the same time in a quiet charming historic property. Room size and cleanliness were excellent. There is a convenient spacious area right at the corner of Calle Juan Ruiz de Alarcón and Las Conchas that served really well for drop-off/ drop-on. Streets in Taxco are seriously narrow and we were a numerous family with our luggage.
Omg, soooo charming! We will be back!!! 🥰🥰🥰
- Irani (4/5): - Love agriculture look, but I would have liked for it to be better taken care of inside the hotel. I did find some roaches in room. The room can also use some cultural decoration and cleaner look to it.
- HAITING (10/5): We have a very good experience staying there. - Very good location. We like the native, old style of the hotel. Staffs are very nice and very helpful. The only thing is that there is not enough hot water when taking bath.
- Liam Alexander (9/5): -
- Luis (7/5): -
- Delma (10/5): - Great stay. Only drawbacks is traffic in street till 10pm or so and the hot water takes a while to come out. But it did not affect my stay..
- Osvaldo (10/5): - We loved it. Very conveniently located and friend staff. Very nice Mexican architecture and charm.
- Sharon (10/5): Highly recommend this lovely hacienda-style hotel - Very beautiful decor (building more spanish hacienda style--lovely). The location was great (easy walk to Zocalo and restarants, plus they had a nice restarant.
- Adriana (10/5): Fabulous hotel with amazing location and great staff! - It’s located in a fabulous location. We walked everywhere and we were never more than a couple of minutes away from hotel. The building is also absolutely beautiful! My bed, and pillows were way too hard. The water took about ten minutes to warm up and I felt terrible wasting so much water.
- Guadalupe (10/5): - Good
- alejandro (10/5): - Is beautifull
- Viveros (9/5): - The restaurant
- Enric (8/5): -
- Helmie (10/5): Excelente!
- Spela (10/5): Beautiful place - My favourite hotel of my 3 weeks trip to Mexico. The location, the building, rooms, patio, the details... everything was just perfect and romantic. Enjoyed everything.
- Armand.P (10/5): - Very very lovely place !
