- Ciaran (4/5): - The room stank really bad, the AC unit sounded like a semi driving through the room & when checking I told the 2 guys at the front desk I wanted to check out at 4:30-5am & they said no problem, just call front desk for damage deposit refund. Nobody answered the call when trying to check out at 4:35am, didn’t get checked out until 6am. Put me way behind schedule
- Alice (4/5): - Felt unsafe walking there. Very run down building, furniture. Needs a complete overhaul. Ice layer which was of a dark colour, was built up in fridge. The people, however, were polite and helpful.
- Robert (4/5): - Half smoked ciggerate in the sink so cleaning wasnt a priority. Staff lied about airport shuttle so had to pay for taxi. Staff was not around to check out at 830. Even the hot and cold water taps were on backwards. Tub hot water didnt work. I understand at that price you get what you pay for but come on.

Wondering why they do that because they didn’t check the room as I checked out anyway. Doesn’t make sense

- Mike (6/5): - I'll start by recognizing that I chose this place because it was the cheapest option in PG. That said, while the floors had been swept, they were noticeably dirty when walking with socks and there were burn holes in multiple spots. The bedframe was put together with seemingly random pieces of wood, as well as the shelf beside the bed. The room had an overpowering smell of cleaning products and cigarettes. The bedding and towels were clean, and the bathroom was acceptable. The check-in was great, and the staff were pleasant. If I were to stay in PG again, I would spend a few extra bucks to stay somewhere else, but if you want to stay somewhere cheap, this spot will be fine.

- M6836MEbenc (2/5): BAD - Curtians nailed on wall no cover on baseboard heaters . wires hanging out of them . Black mold in and behind the heater. Had to climb snow banks to even get to the room . Guy offered us another room < wife said no way , whole place looked like a flop house . Guy wouldn't cancel and refund money ,said we had to cancel through trip adviser first even though we did not make a reservation through trip adviser. Was made directly with hotel . Also kept damage deposit of $100. they added to room rate ,total being $180.00. Still working on it . We did NOT stay in this dump, Listing as 4 stars is total scam although they show nice pictures .
- Jlflail (10/5): Best hotel experience in the cariboo region so far - This was my fifth time or more staying at Fraser Inn, and like my previous stays, I was not disappointed. Friendly courteous staff, make checking in a easy stress free process. The staff, the modern rooms along with the comfortable King Bed, kept me longer then I planned on staying. Ill be back

- R1148PHericac (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE! WARNING! READ TO END! - DO NOT STAY HERE! WARNING! READ TO END! This property charges you ‘damages’ as part of their business model!! We were charged $30 for ‘damaged towels’ after this terrible experience at a very sketchy hotel: Hotel is completely uncooperative to refund the illegitimate charges (through us or booking.com) 1) Upon getting to room it leached of the smell of cigarette smoke and burned our eyes and made our clothing stink. Upon asking to switch rooms, the front desk agent said they were sold out (definitely a lie and front desk agent was rude) 2) After settling in we noticed the fire alarm beeped every minute. I went down again (attendant rolled his eyes at me) and said there was nothing he could do. So we had to turn the alarm off/ ourselves a couple times during the stay and throughout the night 3) There were drug addicts in the room below us who were yelling and arguing all night 4) Pillows were yellow 5) Overall filthy property inside rooms 6) Charges us $30 for damaged towels. We used 1x facecloth and 1x hand towel. They had the nerve to say there was blood on the towels. It was probably tomato sauce because we washed a couple dishes at their kitchenette (which does not provide guests a dishcloth) Note Booking.com has had other complaints risen for the same issue of illegitimate extra charges. This is clearly a part of their business model and profit plan!

When we checked-in, the room was full of smoke smell—on the mattress/ sheets etc. My partner had even noted some uncleaned red spots on the floor—and the smoke detector was loosened; possibly shut off. Clearly shows the housekeeping work wasn't done thoroughly after the previous guest left. The front desk/ manager never picks up calls (called several times for room change) when we dial "0" from room or call the direct hotel number—goes to voicemail with no space to leave a message. Poor service and dirty place. We were so tired after all day of traveling on 4 different flights to get to Prince George and hence we had no energy to waste our time much longer!

Manager finally came over he said sorry I was smoking a joint. Very creepy place with a lot of addicts around. Didn’t feel safe at all. Room was horrible, old and not clean, reeked of a strange smell as soon as you opened the door. The place looked like a run down hotel you would see on a horror movie. Not a safe place to stay with a lot of drug addicts around I stayed for 1/2 an hour then took off after I realized how bad of a location this was. DO NOT STAY HERE
- Art (2/5): Don’t stay here!! - Really old uncared for building. The “No refund” SHOULD HAVE MADE ME AWARE. The bug spray with dead bugs on the sheets also the bug spray odor was extensive. It too 2 hours to clear the smell out of the room. I had requested a king bed but we were given a queen with no discount. Unfinished woodwork with all water lines open to the eye. Pluses was a new commode and new mattress that was solid as a board.

Price was great, got a small kitchenette with random kitchen items (toaster, kettle, plasticware) no pots or pans, it does have a microwave, stove and mini fridge. The shower curtain was not clean (shampoo crusted to it, blood was visibly sprayed on curtain, looked above and there was blood on the ceiling). Shower itself had a hair and was not wiped. Price was great, staff amazing.

- Darren (6/5): - Lady that ran the place was nice enough but the place is old AF and has long term renters staying in it. Not only are they all loud but quite a sketchy place at best. We had some woman hunting down her man in one of the rooms in a violent rage and some crackhead looking for “her cousin”. I am not looking to judge people for how they choose to live but I will say, if your facility is a long term rental keep it that only, do not advertise it as a hotel!
- Kalob (2/5): - I reserved a room to stay in after my 9.5 hour drive from Alberta and apon my arrival they tell me they had to sell my room to another person that came in only minutes before me even tho I had reserved the room. But the place was very gross and was falling apart in the outside so kidna glad I didn’t have to pay to stay there.

I was also really impressed with their pet friendly policy and the fact that there is an off leash dog park one street over! They made us feel so welcome and appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fraser Inn.

- Tony (8/5): Best deal I've ever had on a room. - The best price in Prince George. I expected way worse than I found. I've paid much more in much smaller towns for a lot less. Very personable staff, modernized room. Sadly was cleaned poorly, apparently the cleaning staff didn't know how to rinse out the washcloth or change out the mop water. Told front desk the next morning and they assured me it would be rectified.

Minor things like ink stains on blanket, loose towel rack. I’d be glad to stay there again. Expedia listing mentioned free airport shuttle which is not the case. However there are easy options available in Prince George - taxis, shuttle buses etc.

And my favorite is that they didn't want to refund me when I tried checking out an hour later after sitting there with a broken tv. Thankfully Expedia made it right and checked me into the super 8 instead. Oh and yes one more thing. Unless you actually want to be asked if you are interested in a $50 date every 5 minutes I would avoid this location. Every 5 minutes the hookers and crackheads walk by. This is literally located in the hooker and crackhead heart of the city. Never again

UNSAFE - I had booked 2 nights and was immediately advised by a friend who is a police officer in Prince George that this property is not safe to stay at, let alone for a single female traveler. They cited high rates of gang violence, drug deals and petty crime such as car break ins. They advised that over half the hotel is long stays for lower income individuals and known organized crime. I had made this booking 3 weeks in advance and called within 2 hours to cancel it. I was willing to pay a small cancelation fee for the inconvenience. I was told they would "find my booking when they got back in the office and refund it." I never got a call back from the manager. I used Expedia 6 times in an attempt to obtain a refund and they were given the run around each time as well. I eventually called the Fraser Inn one last time before my trip and was told to "F*** off". While in PG I drove by it a few times and there were always cop cars attending some disturbance. It looked just as dangerous as my friend described. I tried once again after NOT staying there through Expedia to obtain a refund and the "manager" told Expedia I had stayed there, forging a sign in, and hung up on the Expedia CSR. It's well documented that I stayed elsewhere while in PG.
- joseph (8/5): - my stay was good but because of my feeble health condition, the height of the bed was challenging. owners were friendly and helpful. couldn't figure out how to turn the tv off, so it stayed on my full time there.
- Jamie (2/5): Sketchy - Sketchy! Wouldn't even give me a key to my room. Was worried the sheets hadn't been washed. Had a pretty high rating on here! Never would have booked here otherwise
- Sharon (2/5): - Advertised as non smoking. Rooms smelled so bad with smoke we could not stay there. Advertised as free cancellation but my visa was charged $75.00 which I am going to fight

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Smell of the room was terrible, not related to smell of pulp mills in area. Bed springs were broken in bed, making it slope and uneven. Very obvious drug/prostitution activity in rooms adjacent to ours. Would avoid this motel unless you can’t afford another.

- 795yvetted (2/5): Drive right on by - My friend and I stayed 1 night here and before we even settled in we looked at everything. The bed was dirty, sheets had hair in them, bed skirt was filthy, we couldn't get the bath tub taps turned on, sketchy people around I was worried my truck would get broken into. I didn't see any bugs tho. Holes in the walls from where pictures hung made us wonder? Fortunately I carry blankets and an emergency sheet in my truck so we put that on top of bed and used my blankets. The ONLY REASON we stayed was because I paid for the room prior to seeing it and it was not possible to get a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE. The pictures are not true to how the room actually looks. The door was really hard to lock. Seriously do not stay here.
- Sightsee36125416809 (2/5): Drive By - You can do Better - The motel is very second rate - noisy, on a busy main drag, and not nearly as nice as pictures and some reviews state, management is not trustworthy - promise but don't deliver. this is one place you can drive by. Pay a few more dollars and get something much better!
- caricol2016 (2/5): STAY AWAY! - REVIEW: Do not stay here. Not only was the price inflated from what was quoted on another booking site by $25, the place had BUGS in the bed. When this was reported the owner argued with me. After posting an initial review stating this the owner offered to refund the money if the review was taken down. The review was taken down in the interest of getting a refund. The owner after a week of back-and-forth did not honor his word. No refund was given. Booking company contacted the owner and he would not admit that the price was inflated nor would he give the refund unless booking company absorbed their commission. Totally untrustworthy. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
- MadiRuth (2/5): Terrifying experience! Noisy, bugs, and bad location - This was literally the worst experience of my life. I was only staying in Prince George for one night an I would have had more sleep if I stayed in the airport. I am shocked any one of these reviews had anything good to say about this place. First off when I arrived and told the cab driver where I was headed she told me not to leave the room after dark because it was a hot spot for prostitutes and drug deals. Im a fairly young adventurous person so I wasn't too put off by this. When we arrived it smelled bad and looked even worse. The doors looked as though they had been kicked in in certain spots and the locks were sketchy. When I arrived home at the hotel later that evening after the concert there was yelling and stomping going on everywhere. My boyfriend and i were scared to sleep because we thought someone might break in the room. Finally when we returned back to calgary after an exhausting trip we realized we had gotten bed bugs. Somehow we didn't bring them home but both of us had been bitten up like crazy, covered in spots. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The only redeeming quality was the owners were quite friendly, not great english though.
- CarrieEM15 (4/5): Would not stay again - Can hear neighbors, clearly every word they say, a cough, every bathroom noise. Felt unsafe, lots of yelling and cursing in parking lot or surrounding area, for most of the night. Sheets were too small for the bed and had a cigarette burn in them. Positive comments: Carpet were new, room didn't smell, large flat screen tv.

- 770kevanb (6/5): Good rates - I waz shock it was clean room an quiet for the area it was located in . The price was right at the last minute lookin for a room at midnight .. I would stay again If had to find room again in Prince George .. I would let friends an family know where to get room if they real need a room for the nite . Close to good stores to get munchies at nite 7^11 just down the road 5min walk away
