- Anna (10/5): - The beach is stunning! Every staff member we interacted with was super nice, helpful and friendly! The room was very clean, we had multiple bath towels and beach towels were provided as well. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can imagine -- they even had a blender so I was able to make my protein shakes every morning. Did I mention that the price was great too? Overall, 10/10 experience. I'd recommend this place to anyone to wants a quiet, relaxing and enjoyable stay!

- Jim (9/5): A delightful beach-front condo on Napili Bay - The staff were very kind and helpful, and the location - right on the beach at Napili Bay - is excellent. Our apartment was large for a studio, and had plenty of room for a couple. It was very quiet during our stay. We heard neighbors chatting on their adjacent Lanai one afternoon, but there was never any noise at all at night or in the morning. The apartment was very clean, thoughtfully furnished, and had everything we needed, including plenty of storage (and hangers!) for clothes and luggage. The split bath - with the toilet and shower separated from the lavatory - was a thoughtful touch. The kitchen had everything needed if we wanted to cook meals, and the free use of washers and dryers (in a common area) was a nice bonus. If we return to Maui, we would definitely stay at the Hale Napili again. The beds were a bit too soft, and because the door to the shower/toilet opened inward, it was a bit of a tight squeeze to get in, and required moving the bathmat out of the way of the door.

- Michael (10/5): - Hale Napili was the most enjoyable experience we have ever had in our many visits to Maui. Our room was overlooking the beautiful ocean and had a large furnished balcony to enhance the view. A clean and spacious room with a full kitchen and high quality outside grills allowed us to cook whatever we wanted while also going out to eat at many outstanding restaurants nearby. Access to the beach is a one minute walk from the room and there is a nice grass lawn overlooking the beach that is fully furnished with several lawn chairs. And the staff is super friendly and helpful. We had several enjoyable conversations with housekeeping personnel and with the on-site manager who was very friendly and informative. Doesn't get any better than this.

Steps from Napili Bay and a super comfortable private area to sit and watch the sunset or just sit and listen to the waves while sipping an adult beverage. The bed was a bit too soft and I woke up with a neck/shoulder ache.
- Sudipta (10/5): - This is a great cozy property right on the Napili beach. You can literally throw a rock in the ocean from the balcony. Ocean is so close that you will not miss a swimming pool. The services were excellent. Rooms were very clean. All amenities were provided in the room to cook if you prefer to do so. I'll happily go back again.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable and charming - Charming two-story complex. We stayed in a corner unit. The advantage of having a corner unit was no one walked in front of our backyard patio area, so it was quite private in that sense. We could hear other visitors walking and talking, but that is the community aspect of this place. The easy beach access and outdoor showers were nice perks, as was the community area outside for lounging in the sun and grilling, though we only took advantage of the community picnic table for takeout. We also enjoyed having the airflow option between our front door and the backyard patio doors.
- Linda (10/5): Beautiful Hawaiian Hospitality - We had a wonderful stay at Hale Napili and will definitely stay here again. It was quiet and spacious. Kitchen was good size and was fully stocked with dishes, cups, glasses that we needed. Full size refrigerator came in handy. We were always able to find parking on site. There was no extra charge for parking like all the other resorts. There is a laundry room that we could use for no charge. Really appreciated that there was laundry soap for purchase in the office and a computer available to print out boarding pass. We had our own private lanai and enjoyed breakfast there in the mornings. Also appreciated the beach towels and boogie boards that were available for use. We often sat and watched the sunset on the beach. Walking distance to several restaurants. This was our home away from home and had all the amenities for a very comfortable stay!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place is so cute and awesome! The atmosphere is calm and quiet with a note of romantic ;) It’s located right on the beautiful Napili beach! I’ve never lived closer to the water! The beach has a big waves at one side and very calm water where you can just swim and snorkel on the other one. The room was very clean and detailed (even engraved silverware). Brian was super helpful man, who started to take care of us when we where still home yet! He will get anything you need to have a great stay! Honestly, I don’t really want to advertise this property just because I want to have it available for myself when I’ll come next time :)

Clear instructions on late night check-in - all gates are number coded- so make sure you check email on check-in instructions before arrival (chances are you will check in after hours since office closes at 4.30). - Verified traveler (8/5): Right on the beach - This property is adjacent to some of the most desirable real estate in Maui including the Kapalua golf course and the Ritz Carlton. While the condos are certainly clean and sufficient the best is the access to the beach and the ocean sounds and breezes it’s heavenly.

The view from room 11 was amazing, possibly the closest you’ll ever be to the ocean, the location of the hotel was great and was a short drive to many restaurants, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. It was such a quiet, peaceful place without a resort-y vibe, which is exactly what we wanted. The snorkeling was easy-you could just walk right into the ocean and go! We even saw a turtle! We will be back!!

I have to say I am glad I rolled the dice on this one (and after checking Lonely Planet). The people who run it are super nice, it's clean, it's quiet, the other people staying there seemed kind and considerate, and just in general it was probably nicest place and best value I stayed in in Hawaii. The fact it has direct beach access to Napili Bay is fantastic and everything seems well thought out. The only niggling thing I can spot it on (and this seems unfair as it is obviously set up for self-catering) is that there are not many food options around if you don't have a car. The Seahouse restaurant down the beach was mediocre and overpriced (though portions were huge and staff were fine) and the Gazebo is only open for breakfast and there is a literal lineup for the place at 7am in the morning. Good, huge breakies and nice staff, but not sufficient to cause that line. =]

- Reid (10/5): Will Return - The property backs right up to the beach, which is nice. It's also within walking distance to many fine dining establishments. The only downside is the parking lot, which is small, but there was street parking available nearby. We will stay here again.

All home amenities are provided; washer, dryer, full kitchen with microwave and all cooking utensils. Daily housekeeping. Quiet location with a great view, steps away from Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay. Carmen and Jamie are so hospitable. We'll always stay here for our annual Maui trips! We can't wait to go back and were so sad to leave :(.

There are so many turtles on the beach off the hotel and the one next door (Kapalua Bay Beach). Our room was newly updated, had a fully equipped kitchen, and the women at the front desk could not have been nicer and more accommodating! The pictures didn't really show, but the back of the hotel is directly on the sand of the beach and has a beautiful lawn area with chairs and umbrellas and a grilling area - the perfect spot to watch a sunset each evening!

The cleanliness of the units was absolutely fantastic and I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff were. The only issues we had was not knowing about the security gates and arriving and having no way of getting into the place and being completely confused about how to get in to check in. - Heidi (10/5): - You can walk from any room, right out to one of the best beaches in Maui. At the end of July, beg of August, Napili Bay is calm for kids and great snorkeling...we saw several turtles and amazing fish. At one point, we just hung out in the water on floaties and it was gorgeous and relaxing. You can walk to Sea House for dinner...get a reservation though. There are 18 rooms at this hotel and 12 of them have views, so try to get a view. The only downside of this property is the studio rooms are small and the pullout bed is really uncomfortable. There are four 1 bedrooms so that might be a better option if you have kids. If you only need one bed, the king size beds are very comfortable.

- Lisa (10/5): Perfect get-away - We went with our 6-month old baby Andreas had a great and relaxing vacation. The staff is super friendly, rooms spacious and very well equipped. We stayed at the garden view room and it was very private which we liked. The staff was amazing and the beach is literally paradise and right there. Overall an great spot!! But make sure that you get yourself a rental car. Tons of things to explore on the island.
- Darrick (10/5): - My wife and I had an amazing stay at Hale Napili. We were in Maui to get married and Jaime helped make our stay very memorable. She was very hospitable, friendly and informative about sightseeing spots and suggestions for the Road to Hana and Haleakala. The staff at Hale Napili were very accommodating of all our requests and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Since we were there for our wedding, we were already a bit nervous and stressed out. The kindness of the staff definitely helped ease a lot of our stress. When we initially booked the room, the pictures on this site made the place look very dated. I was quite surprised when we checked in that the room had actually been recently renovated and there was AC in the room. The hotel description did not mention AC so we were quite happy to find one in the room. The wi-fi is a bit spotty in the rooms, but the closer you are to the front desk, the signal is stronger. There was very easy beach access and we wish we had more time to explore it. Most of the other hotel guests were generally more mature crowd, who had been coming for years. It's easy to see why they keep coming back to Hale Napili. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing, friendly place to stay, Hale Napili is the place for you.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff is amazing! They seemed to be aware of everything happening on the property at all times. They came to warn me that it was beginning to rain and I had inadvertently left my car window down. Very helpful, but left me alone when requested. Also they let me know about local entertainment and there is a very nice restaurant a short walk away. Very homey atmosphere right on the beach. Loved it and will definitely go back to the same spot!
- Christopher (10/5): An island on an island - Hale Napili was a great condo complex. The manager, Jamie, was so kind and welcoming. The maid service was always very nice a well. Of course being steps away from the sandy beach was the key. We weren't aware of how tourist like the area is but that's not because of Hale Napili, rather they make it feel more cozy than the surrounding resorts. It seems that all the condos are individually owned and all seem to be different on the inside. If you're interested in more detail, it's probably best to call.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely apartments right next to the beach - This place is a little gem right on the beach front. We stayed in a garden apartment which was more than fully equipped with everything you would need in terms of cooking, they even provided washing up liquid and dish wash tablets. There is also a BBQ for guests and some beach stuff such as body boards. Everyone who was staying there was very friendly.
