• Devonboyontour (10/5): Great stay - Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a tour and had a great stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was comfortable with good shower. Breakfast was good too, especially the fresh pancakes. It’s a little way from the main downtown area but a tuk tuk is easy to get outside the hotel and costs 4 dollars for up to 4 people. Handy mini mart nearby too.
• 299cathyd (6/5): Here on a group trip - Hotel is clean and they provide water in the room. As others have said the absence of a shower curtain means that the toilet gets wet and the shower mat very wet as it soaks up water. The advice to remove the toilet roll to a safer location before showering was good advice! Don’t be fooled by the laundry service included in the amenities. There is a laundry but not in the hotel. It is across the street. $1 per kilo. Not sure if the hotel own it. You will wait for ever for the lift. There is only one and if the hotel is busy you can watch it sail past your floor even after you have called it. Not uncommon to wait 10 minutes! As a basic hotel though, it’s fine. Breakfast is what you would expect, a mix of Asian and European.
• alexisd972 (2/5): Poor customer service and substandard bathroom facilities - I just stayed in this hotel as part of an organized tour and would not recommend. The staff is not professional, I had an incident where the front desk receptionist (a younger male) took a photo of my chest when I was dropping my laundry off. I was looking down at a map and then saw his phone and the flash go off. I was caught off guard but reported this to my guide and hour later who then reported it to the manager that as it is very unprofessional and made me feel violated. They denied anything happened and said the many security cameras they have don’t actually record. Yeah right. In terms of facilities it’s very basic and there is a shower open to the bathroom with no door or curtain so you cannot take a shower without the bathroom getting drenched. There is also no soap provided to wash hands, we had to use body wash. I would look elsewhere for accommodation!

Would have been nice to have a pool to cool off after a hot day out and about but we didn't have any problems in general. The staff were helpful and polite and we felt safe during our stay. The rooms were small but neat and clean and suited our needs as we didnt spend much time in the room in any case as we were out and about exploring the beauty of the city

• Mo55 (7/5): Ok for the price - The building was rather new, the elevator worked, the room was arranged in a way user friendly like the outlets were located conveniently, the electric kettle and refrigerator were there. The room atmosphere was rather richer sense for that price range. The hot water didn't run smoothly. It had a repeat of off and on gushing and very slow flow. The ad said with a bathtub but didn't have it.

• sinduck (6/5): 예전 숙박 경험이 있어서 하루 묵었습니다. - 현지 경찰이 묶고 있어서, 체크인할때 여권을 맡기라고 하더군요... 황당했습닏다. 하지만 어쩔수없이 맡겼어요~ 특히 예전에 이용했던 경험이 있어서 또 방문했습니다. 호텔로 바로 가는 것보다는 훨씬 저렴하게 예약했습니다만 호텔스앱이 원화결제로 되어있어 수수료를 이중으로 물게 생겼네요~! 그냥 한국의 3~5만원짜리 모텔 같아요~ 물 2병을 서비스로주는 것과 11층 뷔페 식당을 무료료 이용할 수있지만 퀄리티는 그다지 높지 않고, 배려없는 숙박자들 때문에 그냥 그랬습니다.

• KDuong (6/5): Small but clean - Stayed here for one night. The hotel is at the corner and has a small foof print with 11 floors. It is a modern style. The room is small but clean. It has a safe, fridge, hotpot with coffee and tea. There is a flat screen TV, chair and table. The bathroom is small. Toothbrushes, soap, shampoos are provided. There is no curtain for the shower. When you take the shower, the toilet seat will get wet. Even the roll of toilet paper will be wet. Better to take it out of the room. Breakfast is served on the 11th floor with limited items. The food is all eastern style. However, the streets in front have many restaurant. It's also about half a klick to Phnom Penh Tower with its rooftop bar on the 23rd floor. It'san ok hotel to stay for the night.

• Bethany (8/5): Good location nice staff - Clean decent sized rooms. Shower was best I’ve had in Asia. Breakfast was okay, nice that they do eggs to order. One thing is that the rooms let a lot of sound in so when people are leaving early morning you are likely to be woken up, also staff knock on door around 9 to clean. Air con was brilliant in our room and easy to work. Would stay here again.

• LadyMiyeon (6/5): Noisy stay - I went there on June 2018, for leisure trip. I booked through my guided tour in Phnom Penh and Siem Riep. The room was quite small, and humid. The bathroom had strange smell. The bed was quite hard. Near the hotel there is a night club, which the noisy sound can be heard in the room. I had to check out early, so the hotel prepared the snack box for me, which quite good.

• peter (4/5): Good location but will not go back - You will see Vietnam groups every evening arriving with CAM-VIET bus parked in front of the hotel. Loud noise throughout evening and early morning. Do not expect cozy sleeping. Do not go breakfast before 7:30. You will see gangs of VIET having loud noisy meal on 11th floor. They all leave around 8AM. Elevator is not an option while these gangs are on move.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Decent hotel - Friendly staff. Opened the door whenever i came in or left. The room was clean. The bathroom was what i expected. The water pressure in the shower was a little weak for me, but i didn't expect it to be like at home. The water got hot. The breakfast buffet will not be a western meal. When in a foreign country eat like the locals. There were fried eggs and french toast or pancakes depending on the day. But its mostly rice and noodles. As long as you are not comparing to nyc or london it is a great hotel.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - To turn off the lights and the air conditioning at night, you have to get up or need an arm that is about 1,50 m long. There is a lack of personal in the restaurant, which means that you have to wait for cups, plates and also food.
• 115clairem (8/5): Good stay - A hotel situated a few minutes outside of Phnom Penh's busy centre (10 minutes by tuk tuk; 20 minutes on foot). Tuk tuks were always available as soon as we walked out. It seems to be run by locals and I like when we do not always stay in the big franchise fancy hotels. The rooms were just fine for a few nights stay - basic. The absence of a shower tray bothered me because we had to put towels on the floor to stop the water from flooding the bathroom. I do think that the hotel is in need of new white towels (they look old). The room was small but clean (I had a coke bottle which I kept as a souvenir and it was thrown away - please do not throw away items whilst making up the room). Breakfast was not too fancy but okay - sausages, spring rolls, veg noodles, fried rice, eggs, sandwiches and fruit were some of the items. Staff were friendly (I loved the Cambodians smiles).
• taylora108 (4/5): Setup for robbery - They have tuk tuk drivers here that work from the hotel regularly. One of their drivers set me and my friends up. They took us to the wrong place and in doing so slowed down and allowed a random child to ride after some men tried to sell us weed. When we declined the child hopped on board and when we arrived at the wrong location the child distracted my friend and a guy on a motorcycle drove by and snatched my phone , immediately after the kid disappeared. The driver then charged us extra money to go one extra block up the road. When we explained this to the hotel staff they claimed he wasn’t involved despite being back outside. We know he was involved without a doubt as the place he claimed was closed actually wasn’t. He stopped in front of some strange men and allowed a random individual to jump aboard and we were robbed. Will never recommend this place ever again, they are criminals taking g advantage of their clientele

Somehow the acoustic is not so good. Bath tub was without curtain so it's quite difficult to shower. No hand soup or bar soup provided for cleaning of hands. If improve on those areas, excellent hotel to stay in. Comfortable.

• bharat (8/5): Nice hotel near city centre - The hotel was good and nice..i was in hotel for 1night. Hotel infrastructure is good.nice rooms with great washrooms. Food is pathetic,i ordered chicken rice and found hairs in it also in morning during buffet breakfast thete was a hairs all over in pancakes. They asked me earlier if i like to get my room with flower decoration and initialy they said that it is free of cost but at the time of check out they charged me usd10. Hotel need to upgrade professionaly.
• EvieK123 (8/5): Cant complain - For the money this hotel is great. We arrived early after an overnight bus from Siem Reap. The receptionist kindly leant us a doller change to pay for the tuc tuc driver and after a short wait in a spacious comfortable reception with wifi we were able to check in early as soon as a room became available. The room itself was an ok size with safe towels flip flops kettle tea, coffee etc. Only request would have been for an extra pillow. We were on the 9th floor which had a great view over the city. Unfortunately there were couple of ants in the bathroom and a cockroach jumped out at me as i put on the dressing gown however i suppose this is not unusual in an asian hotel! The hotel is about a 15/20 minute walk from the river which isnt really worth the walk but close to the 'main bar streets' (although these were rather poor). Breakfast basic but ok for 'free'. Served fried and boiled rice toast fried eggs fried toast mini pancakes noodles and the standard chicken sausages found across asia. There was also fresh fruit strawberry juice and cold water. Someone before us swiped the last two fried eggs and the waiter brought us fresh ones to the table within minutes. The buffet breakfast was also regularly replenished. The receptionist recommended a nearby hotel (SIM boutique) where you can pay 5 doller pp to use the rooftop pool where you get a soft drink and towels included. Would definitely recommend the rose emerald hotel for the price paid.

• Jung (2/5): Do not use this hotel - This hotel has a hot water problem. We have reported the water problem right after checked in (3 pm), but until 11 pm they didn't do much on the water. Our family had to move out around 11 pm to another hotel.
• _A6624FM (2/5): Do not stay in this hotel - My family checked in around 3 pm. There was no water (both of hot and cold water) at the bathroom, so we were not able to take a shower. The hotel said they would fix soon, but hot water didn't come out until 5:00 pm. We went out and came back around 10:00 pm. No hot water still. I asked that I wanted to talk with manager, but the manager didn't appear until 10:50 pm. When I appealed to the manager, he said that was my fault because I reported only water problem, not hot water problem. We had to move out to another hotel around midnight.

• C1324AGalexf (8/5): Nice Room, Service Sometimes Lacking - Tidy modern room with a nice-sized western bathroom. Located roughly between the National Museum and S.21. Laundry came back damp and wake-up was ten minutes late, but pretty forgivable given the price.

• stan (8/5): Good hotel in a good location - Good hotel in a good location. Stay of only one night as in transit. Pretty good restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
• thanhtran0105 (8/5): Convinience Location - We spend 1 night in Phnompenh. The Hotel is located in the city center. This area is quite even there are many hotels nearby. It takes around 5-7 mins walk to the main street. There are many restaurants, street foods there. Especially Chinese food. The room is clean with the standard facilities. Buffet breakfast has limited choice.

• Jukka (8/5): Good hotel, bad breakfast. - Good, basic hotel. Clean, big enough room, good air conditioning and wifi. Very friendly service. Very unpleasant buffet-breakfast. Mostly rice and noodles that looked like they have been there for few hours. Terrible, burnt coffee.

• traveler (10/5): Nice hotel and very nelpful staf - I was there two times and will go again. The hotel is in very good location. Hotel is very clean. They have very good brekfast. The staf very friendly snd helpful. I can strongly recomend this plase to my friends.
• Annie (8/5): - It was great in our first stay and we got an upgrade to a deluxe double, therefore we decided to book another night on our way back. We didn't get upgrade this time but everything was as great. We actually think the standard room was better than the deluxe. One setback was the buffet breakfast on our first stay, we had our bf at 7am and the food was cold already. Even the coffee was cold after adding milk. We have yet to test the bf the second time, hopefully it won't disappoint us this time.
• Austin (8/5): Central located hotel - The location was ideal for us. It was located right in the city, but away from the more expensive touristy stuff. A half mile walk gets you where you want to be.
• Mrs Joanne (10/5): Rose Emerald - Friendly Staff very helpful . Reliable Tuk Tuk drivers outside Hotel. Convenience store near by that gives you correct change in a mix of $US and local currency .

• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice clean hotel - Nice clean hotel. Comfortable. quiet. Walking distance to main street. Staff was friendly, helpful. Included buffet Breaky and it was just ok. That is the only issue. Sorry picture is my mess.
• Jeffrey (8/5): Good, clean, hotel - A good basic hotel. My room was good but my friend's room had a funny smell. Breakfast was not good but other than that, it was good value.
