• Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place near the airport, about 20 mins. A little tricky find, but great deal. There aren't really taxis and it's hard to get grab around at odd hours, so if you plan to leave at a weird time like 3am, plan accordingly. The owners are really nice :)

Maybe next time again. But they are willing to accommodate and adjust time based on our arrivals, but to no avail?
• Brian (10/5): A wonderful place in a quiet neighborhood - A great find for the money on this Island. The staff is helpful, friendly, kind. The courtyard is great for longing, relaxing, socializing. The showers are great. Wifi is decent, The place could use some maintanenance, though. That said, the spartan rooms are adequate and clean. This is not the Hyatt, you didn’t pay that price!

• Yihang (6/5): - The location thought had reported on website, my tricycle still need sometimes to find out the right place. The area is very local that hard to find restaurant or place to eat or stay, however, this can not put any comment on the owner. For me, will not choose the same decision.
• Verified traveler (8/5): 게스트 하우스 - 새벽에 가서 잠만잘 생각으로 갔는데 아주 좋았어요! 위치상으로는 공항 뒤쪽이라 가깝고, 많이 외진 곳이라 당황하긴 했었는데 그냥 가정집이더라구요. 화장실 공용인데 정말 관리 잘했어요~ 허나 가격상 시티쪽에서 같은 가격에 호텔도 잡을 수 있답니다~
• masa (8/5): - 周辺環境はいわゆるリゾート地ではなく貧困層の集落的な感じ。バックパッカーなどの長期滞在にはむいているかも。トイレは手動のウォシュレットみたあのがある。洗濯機ある。たまにゴキブリいる。タクシー乗り場が近くにないので街にでるのが難しい。トライシクルの停留所はあるらしいがよくわからない。 路上のパン屋さんでパン一つ40ペソでぼったくられた。相場は一つ4ペソ。 最寄りのバーベキュー屋とカラオケバーは良心的値段だった。
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Not as close to the airport as it looks on the map, but a good stay none-the-less. Not a lot going on in the location, but not too far by bicycle or transportation to more interesting locations.
• Eva (10/5): Loved it! - It was my last night of my one-month trip to the Philippines. I booked this place because it looked close to the airport, and I had no expectations beyond that. However, the guest house was gorgeous, the service was amazing, and I was so, so happy I stayed there. There was coffee and tea, as well as a water boiler, in the room -- as well as a TV with English-speaking channels. I got to watch CNN and catch up on the news before bed! I also enjoyed the neighborhood. I'd spent one night in Cebu at the beginning of my traffic, and it was all traffic and crowds and pollution. This neighborhood was much more my speed -- it was actually kind of this trendy little area, with a few cool coffee shops and restaurants, a salon so you can be all beautiful for your trip home, and plenty of very local/authentic places to shop and get food, as well. All within walking distance of the guest house. I am headed to Cebu again soon for a long layover, and will hopefully get to stay here again! That said, it is a LITTLE further from the airport than some of the other, similarly-priced options (it was 18 minutes of driving vs. 10, but it's still only a dollar or two).

The location was not good and it was little bit hard to find. There was nothing wrong with this place but there was nothing really good either why to recommend this place except the prize was ok.
• RYOHEI (10/5): 超おすすめのゲストハウスです - 12月27～1月5日まで滞在した者です。 大変満足するステイとなりました。 部屋を含め全体的にとても綺麗に掃除されています。 常駐しているスタッフの方もとても親切、アクティビティなどの相談も気軽に引き受けてもらえます。 海側の方にもトライシクル（タクシー）ですぐに行けるので、アクセスも良いですよ。 ホワイトサンズのゲストハウスの方にいらっしゃるオーナー（日本人）も、とても親切です。 たまにこちらのゲストハウスにも来られますよ。 またセブに行った際には、ぜひ利用したいと思います。 ありがとうございました。
• knum (10/5): 掃除が行き届いた綺麗な施設 - とてもいい感じのゲストハウスでした。探すのに一瞬迷いましたが、見つけられてよかったです。掃除が行き届いていい感じでした。また今度も利用したいと思います。
• Balut (10/5): ちょっと田舎っぽいけど、最高に良かったです。 - とても室内も良く、スタッフさんも親切でした。他のゲストハウスよりも快適に過ごせました。場所に関しては、マリバゴから離れているのでトライシクルに乗っていく必要があります。空港からは近いように見えますが、空港のエントランスは反対側にしかないので注意が必要です。日本人のオーナーさんがやっていますが、フィリピンのスタッフさんもいるので英語での対応が必要です。 しかし上記を知っていれば、マクタンのゲストハウスでは凄い良い宿です。 飼い猫もいるので、猫好きの人にはたまらなく良かったです。 週単位の英語学校もやっているそうなので、次回はそれも使わせてもらえればと思います。(詳しくは分からないので、ホームページを見てください。) また使わせてもらいます。
• Verma (8/5): The taxi does not even know the location - My friend sais it was far from the airport and the taxi did not even recognize the address. it must be frustrating. Im sure the place is alright. I would like to suggest that they arrange a transfer from their place from the airport with extra fee just to make it convenient for the guests in the future.

• Y (10/5): 過ごし方は自分次第 - 4泊滞在させて頂きました。 まず、よく言われているようにタクシードライバーが場所をわかっていません。地図を印刷して見せてもダメだったので、初めての方は空港でポケットWiFiを借りてGoogleMapでナビをしながら行くか、せめて地図をダウンロードしておきGPSで現在地を示しながらドライバーに伝えることが必要と思います。私は空港から１時間半もあっちこっちウロウロされた挙句、1000Pも取られました。まぁボッタクられただけかもしれません。通常は150Pぐらいです。 予定よりだいぶ遅くにたどり着きましたが、スタッフの女性が親切に対応してくれました。 部屋は清潔、綺麗で快適です。バスルームは少し驚きましたが許容範囲内です。 ついてすぐは食事に困りましたが、ハンバーガーショップがあることがわかり、セブシティにもバスで割と簡単に安く行ける（ただし、ローカルな交通手段なので旅慣れない方はややチャレンジ精神が必要かもしれません）ことがわかってからは、問題ありませんでした。 スタッフの方は基本的に優しく親切で人懐っこいので、心を開けばすぐに仲良くなれるでしょう。 英語が上手く話せずコミュニケーションがあまりとれなかったのが心残りです。 部屋でゆっくりするもよし、街に行くのもよし、現地の人と話すもよしなので、自分次第で色々旅のアレンジができるのではと思います。 あっ、夜１１時ぐらいから朝までずっと鶏が鳴いていたので、気になる方は耳栓を持って行った方がいいかもしれません。

• SATOMI (6/5): 過ごしやすいホテル - 初めてゲストハウスに泊まりました。タクシーで向かいましたが、運転手さんも少し分かりずらかった場所だったみたいですがドキドキしながらもなんとか到着しました。とてもセキュリティがしっかりしてある印象で快適でした。部屋にある案内に有料オプションで早朝タクシーとあったのでタクシーを予約して欲しいと伝えてみましたが私の英語がつたないため、伝わってなかったようでした。早朝での帰国便のため、挨拶もできず部屋を出てしまったことが心残りです。タクシーはアプリで事前予約すると良いです。次回はゆっくり滞在したいと思います。

• よきあ (8/5): とにかく田舎です - ダイビングのため、3泊ドミトリーに宿泊しました。日本の方もいましたが、韓国、中国、オーストラリア、イギリス、アルゼンチンなどかなり多国籍で、毎日のように人が入れ替わっていました。オーナーさんには会えませんでしたが、女性のスタッフさんがわからないことを何でも教えてくれます。大通りに出るまでにはバイクタクシー、大通りに出ればジプニーを乗り継げば、大概の場所へは行けます。SMCITYモールへ行く乗り合いバスの停留所もすぐ近くです。ゲストハウスの回りは完全に民間で、ちょっとした市場や店があり、食べるには困りません。両替所もすぐ近くにあります。

• MOON (8/5): 가격대비 괜찮았어요!! - 위치는 좀 외진 곳이었지만 숙박시설은 전반적으로 매우 깔끔하고 안락했습니다. 화장실도 깨끗하고 따뜻한 물도 잘 나와요(수압은 약하지만). 일하는 분도 매우 친절했습니다. 더블룸에 묵었는데 냉장고, 에어컨, 침대, TV 있었고 물과 커피포트, 컵 있었습니다. 금고도 있었는데 건전지가 없어 사용 못해봄.. 가이사노 그랜드몰에서 걸어서 30분정도 걸리는 거리고 2-3km 정도 되는 것 같습니다. 트라이시클타면 100페소 미만으로 갈 수 있는 거리구요. 디게스트하우스 화이트샌드도 있는데 두 곳이 다른 곳입니다. 잘 보고 예약하세요! 주변에 작은 슈퍼가 있어서 간단히 먹을 것 살 수 있고, 주방과 거실은 공동으로 사용할 수 있습니다. 세탁은 kg당 요금으로 해줍니다. 가격대비 괜찮았어요!!!

• YEONJAE (8/5): 디 게스트 하우스 (도착시 하루 잠만자기는 충분합니다^^) - 밤 늦게 도착했는데도 안자고 기다려주시고, 친절하게 맞아주셨습니다. 가격도 저렴하여 도착시 잘때 정말 좋습니다. 다만 택시가 위치를 못찾아서 좀 많이 헤맸습니다. 픽업 서비스가 있으면 좋겠네요. 택시가 야간할증 금액을 부과했었네요ㅡㅡ 안주면 화낼까봐 그냥 주고 내렸습니다. 방은 청결하고 좋습니다. 그러나 에어컨이 좀 많이 시끄러웠습니다. 저희는 도착하고 너무 피곤해서 잘 잤지만 예민하신분들께는 추천드리지 않습니다. 잠만 자기는 좋은 게스트 하우스 입니다.
• Gennifer (10/5): LOCAL GUESTHOUSE for the Budget in Lapu Lapu - This is a cheap oasis alternative to the higher classed resorts at the beach. You must take a tricycle to the beach or rent their motorbike to really get around, nothing is walkable. Extremely local Cebuano area. MaiDee and Jonelle are super helpful and nice, THERE IS A GUITAR YOU CAN USE, and all basic amenities are available plus use of kitchen.
• JOY (10/5): 친절한 직원, 안락한 객실 - 주인아주머니가 무척이나 친절합니다. 새벽 늦게 도착했는데도 새벽 2시까지 기다려주셔서 체크인 할 수 있었습니다. 방은 시원하다 못해 추울 지경 거의 24시간 에어컨 풀 가동 해주세요~ 그래서 밖에 나갔다오면 시원 가 그 자체 입니다. 매일매일 청소하시고 모포나 베개피를 교환해주시더라구요~ 그런데 아쉬운 점은 화장실이 하나라서 불편하실 수 있습니다. 또 하나 공항에서 가까운 이점이 있는 반면에 게스트하우스 주위에 밥 먹을 곳이 마땅치 않아요~ 편의점이나 생활용품 살 곳은 있지만 식당이 없다는 거~ 꼬치류를 파는 곳이나 햄버거 파는 곳은 있더라구요~ 번화가는 적어도 걸어서 40분정도 트라이시클이나 다른 운송수단을 이용하면 괜찮지만요~ 비행기가 이른 시간에 있다거나 늦게 도착하신분들이 하루이틀 정도 묵으시기엔 괜찮을듯... 가격은 도미토미나 개인실이나 비슷한 듯 ~ 저는 도미토리가 더 아늑해서 좋았습니다.

• SASA (10/5): ローカルな雰囲気が味わえるホテルというより民宿 - これまでにセブ島は数回訪れたことがありますが、その大半がいわゆるホテルでの滞在でした。今回は一カ月滞在しました。特に目的らしいものもなく、強いて言えばできるだけ街の安全で陽気な人たちと言葉を交わしたい。その第一歩をこのゲストハウスのスタッフの方々が与えてくれました。朝の8時過ぎに起きてくるという日本の常識からすればとんでもないスタッフ(マニラから移り住んできた若夫婦）でしたが、どういう訳か不思議と腹も立ちません。オーナーは日本人です（いま、第二のゲストハウスを建設中で、ときおり顔をみせられます）。とても親切です。セブに関するいろんな情報を聞かせてもらいました。特に、日本から来た若い二人連れに,丁寧に道順などを教えておられたのが印象的です。もし、セブが初めてで自分の足で歩きサバイブしてみたいと思っておられる方は、先ずはここから歩きだされることをおすすめします。

• Verified traveler (10/5): 親戚のお家に来てる感じです。 - 場所は少々分かりづらいです。 部屋は十分すぎるくらい綺麗でした。 ウォーターサーバー、エアコン完備で、ベットにもライト、棚が設置されています。 コンセントがベットサイドについていたのが嬉しかったです。 バスルームも文句なしです。 オーナーさん、スタッフさんがとても気さくでいい方です。 いろいろと旅行プランの相談等乗って頂きました。 とても楽しい旅の思い出の一つになりました。
• りゅう (10/5): 合計３回（２３泊）しました。（後編） - 前編・中編とダブル内容は書きませんのでそちらも合わせてお読みください。短期滞在にも良いですが、長期滞在には本当にお勧めです。その理由は限りなくあります。以下は単なる一例ですが… ふたりの可愛いお子さんが相手をしてくれます。つまり一緒に遊んでくれます。洗濯機を使わせて貰えます。（洗剤は自分で用意しましょう）飲料水はいくらでも無料で提供してくれます。台所を使わせて貰えます。（せっかく作るならオーナー家族にもシェアして一緒に食事をするのが客としてのマナーかなとも思いましたので私はそのようにしましたが…） 徒歩圏内に屋台・コンビニ・パン屋・レストランがあリます。トライシクルで短時間で動ける距離にスーパーや市場ががあります。つまり何でも近辺で揃います。海にもトライシクルですぐに行ける距離です。トライシクルは無限に走っているのですぐにつかまります。ギターを弾いて歌えます。ＤＶＤがたくさん揃っています。いずれにしても私は今後、セブでの定宿にするつもりです。
• Verified traveler (10/5): 合計３回（２３泊）しました。（中編） - 前編とダブる内容は書きませんので合わせてお読みください。ゲストハウス自体は少しわかりにくい奥まった場所にありますが、ロケーションは抜群です。旅行者にとってのマクタン島メッカといえる浜辺のリゾートやダイビングショップへはトライシクルとジプニーを乗り継げば、最も遠い場所ですら３０分以内で到着します。トライシクルはコースによって７〜８ペソ。ジプニーは一律７ペソ。タクシーのようなボッタクリはありませんのでお勧めです。セブ市内のＳＭモールに向かうミニバスは一律３０ペソ。そのバスターミナルまで歩いて５分。本数も無限？にありますのですぐに乗れてすぐに出発。タクシーのような遠回りはしませんので逆に早く着きます。いずれにしても、どこに向かうにも意外と便利。→後編に続く
• KENJI (10/5): 前編（最初の１０連泊） - 空港に近くて便利なので、マクタン島を起点にしてセブ島と周辺の島を見て廻る４０日間の旅のベース基地に選定しました。合計３回（２３泊）の長期滞在です。建築士の日本人オーナーがセミリタイアして一戸建ての家を改装し、のんびり経営しているゲストハウスです。とてもアットホームなご家族とワンコ＆ニャンコで寛げます。共同トイレ＆シャワーに抵抗感さえなければ下手なホテルに泊まるよりもよほどお勧めかもしれません。エアコンのある室内は必要十分に清潔で快適です。ただ空港から近いのですが、メイン通りから路地の奥に入り込んだ、少しわかりにくい場所にありますのでタクシーの運転手すらも迷います。事前に周辺を拡大したグーグルマップを印刷して持っておいたほうが良いかもです。もちろん通りの名称は英語表記させた状態で。→中編・後編に続く
• Verified traveler (6/5): 가격대비 좋지도 나쁘지도 않은..... - 우선 밤에 찾아가기는 조금 어려운 골목길이라 구글맵 도움없이는 찾기가 어려웠습니다. 새벽에 샤워하러 갔는데 엄지발가락만한 바퀴벌레가 나와서 꽤나 놀랬고 방은 나쁘지 않았으나 창문에 100%닫히는 구조가 아니어서 그런지 방이 시원해 지는데에 시간이 걸리더군요. 일본인 남자사장님과 현지인 사모님이 계신 것 같았는데 사모님이 굉장히 친절하십니다.

• Jikoy (6/5): My Honest Feedback - Their place is not easy to reach. The drivers don't know their location. Even the people that we've asked along the way were clueless where the place was. We've spent P400 taxi fare to a place that's said to be 15 minutes away from the airport. I suggest that you stay in Cebu instead in Mactan's places, hotels, and even guesthouses. Places to visit are located in Cebu City. As much, as my wife and I would like to recommend thIs place. definitely not. They don't have instruction or map to guide their guests.
• Xin Yi (10/5): Close to Mactan airport, stayed here for Triathlon - Homestay with local family with 2 young kids, dog & cat. Room & toilet very clean with bidet, water heater, hair dryer & free usage of shampoo, shower gel & conditioner. Room has cable tv, safe, fridge & aircon. Couple was very kind to wake up at 4am to use Grab Taxi app to help me get a taxi on race day morning so that I can leave the house at 430am & reach race site by 5am. Couple happy to answer any questions you have on where/how to go snorkeling/shopping & they provide free flow of fresh water! Couple also allowed me to put my humungous bike case & triathlon bike in their shed for storage after my race. My bestie & I enjoyed playing with their 2-year-old boy, yorkshire terrier & kitten. The only gripe I had was that the blanket provided was not thick enough even when the aircon was on high temperature, guess I am used to thick blankets. Place is stone's throw away from a bakery which is next to a 24-hr burger place called Angel's hamburger. A short walk away from H mall which has BBQ at night called Jurassic Pork, a mart called 360 Pharmacy, a bus terminal with buses bringing you to SM City Cebu, 4th largest mall in Philippines, and stalls which sell cheap fruits, there is a hair/nail salon, a laundromat and a snooker place as well. As Dee Guesthouse only started operations early 2015, many drivers still don't know the place, just tell them you wish to go to Bangkal Road near Holy Innocent School (HIS) or H mall and they will know where to take you.
