Marius (8/5): Good enough - Quite, maybe because out of season, you have almost all you need near you:beach, restaurants, fruits, shops, pizza. The Molo Favolo port is near and you can walk to most of the attraction points. The staff was very helpful The breakfast was not a real deal. If you have an restaurant I don't understand why don't use it. For lunch or dinner to prepare some pasta or pizza it's not a big deal.Just an ideea.

Ottima la colazione che punta sul dolce, in particolare sulle specialità siciliane. Per me che sono intollerante al lattosio ci sono state sempre valide alternative, dal gelo d'arancia, al budino di cocco, al ciambellone senza latte, ai dolcetti di mandorle, all'ottima frutta ecc. Rene (7/5): Good mid-range option in central Lampedusa town - Hotel is in a nice location, overlooking the harbour in Lampedusa town on one side and opening up into a square on the other. The room was a decent size and had everything I needed and expected. Overall it is good value for a mid range option. Staff were friendly, but only a few spoke English, so probably worth learning a few key words of Italian to help with checking in / out. Perhaps a good thing to learn anyway! The breakfast selection was limited, but that may have been partly because it was out of season and quieter than the summertime.

Abbiamo alloggiato in una camera standard che anch'essa riprendeva lo stile dall'hotel, pezzo un po più moderno della stanza è la doccia, dotata di condizionatore, tv (che non abbiamo mai usato) mini frigo e piccola cassaforte. Colazione un po povera ma con ottimi prodotti, anche tipici. Molto pulito e tenuto con cura, personale sempre molto disponibile compresa la reception, sempre pronti ad ascoltarci darci indicazioni spiegazioni e suggerimenti. In definitiva un hotel nella media

ylpc (2/5): Fraud warning! - FRAUD WARNING!!! The Hotel Martello - Lampedusa has committed a financial fraud to me. They have never returned my credit card deposit of 800eur despite me paying 400eur for my 4 night stay directly at the reception of the hotel on May 13th, 2023! So by collecting the direct payment for my stay on top of keeping my online booking deposit, they collected 3 times more than my room rate! I requested several times the refund of the deposit - without success. They simply stopped responding to my emails! I’ve opened an official fraud case through my credit card operator and I’m in the process of suing this hotel for this fraud.

Verified traveler (10/5): - Posizione eccellente, in quanto vicina al centro ma contemporaneamente anche vicino ad una delle più belle spiagge (la Guitgia}. La famiglia Martello che da generazioni gestisce l'hotel è di una squisita cordialità. La nostra camera una Standard al primo piano aveva un finestrone con una vista mozzafiato sul porto nuovo. Gli unici miglioramenti che abbiamo consigliato sono : frigo in camera ed un filo alla finestra per stendere la biancheria bagnata.

Hirohito (8/5): 港に面した家庭的な雰囲気のホテル - ランペドゥーサの港を一望できる場所にあり、冬のオフシーズンだったので、運良く港が見通せる、夏なら日光浴もできそうな広いバルコニーのある部屋が借りられた。家族経営かとも思われるような、シンプルなホテルで、空港にも送り迎えの車を出してくれるが、ホテルの人とよくコミュニケーションを取っておくとよいだろう。ロビーにはサンルームのようなガラス張りのスペースもあり、レストランに続いているので、夏ならこの場所も楽しいかもしれない。
pino e gigia (8/5): Albergo pulito con personale molto gentile - Lampedusa è un'ottima meta, soprattutto fuori stagione,unico neo negativo la presenza di tantissimi cani randagi ovunque anche di grossa taglia. Cosa veramente fastidiosa sia per la tranquillità delle persone sia per gli escrementi lasciati ovunque.

Heather (4/5): Near a nice beach - The hotel was okay with a good view. Double bed was two singles pushed together which was uncomfortable. Breakfast was terrible. Stale food that was reserved each day and little variety. Coffee was awful.
X-arndtruber (8/5): Good hotel - The martello is one of the best hotels in Lampedusa. It is still opened for the whole year. The rooms are nice and the beds and the bathroom stay in modern shape. The breakfast is very poor. The restaurant was not opened and there are no room for sport. You are very closely to the habour. But in Lampedusa everything is closely;-) For italian, better for sicilian relations, the Hotel is in a very good condition. Everything is clean and painted.

Phillip (8/5): my stay at lampedusa - Hotel looks down on the harbor. It is located in a quiet area of Lampedusa and is about a ten minute walk from the main shopping/eating area of the city. Hotel has an onsite restaurant that is open for dinner. They serve very good fresh fish that is caught the same day...in addition to serving a very good fish antipasto. People at the hotel are very accommodating. The front desk person during the day speaks English. Wi-Fi works well. Heat is available in the room via the wall mounted HVAC. Airport shuttle is provided (cost is included in the price of the room). Cost for the room is reasonably priced.
DH14 (8/5): Nice hotel, lovely sea views - This is a good hotel by Lampedusa harbour with great sea views from many rooms. It's close enough to walk to the town for restaurants and shops. Don't expect luxury, but the rooms are spacious and clean with balconies. Ask for room 224 if you want a view. The double aspect views over the harbour are stunning (see photo) and there is a large balcony. Rooms on the other side have a view over the sea and a pretty bay (with a sandy beach). The view is a little more distant but still pleasant. It's a 5 minute walk to the small beach where the waters are amazingly clear - a stunning turquoise colour. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The wifi was free - yes it was slow, but faster than other places I have stayed in Lampedusa. As it's a remote island, if you want fast wifi you've come to the wrong place. Breakfast was ok with a buffet of bread, cheese, prunes and yoghurt. They also offered eggs and fruit - pears, banana or apples. The hotel was excellent value for money. A good place to stay on this beautiful island.

Lamberto (8/5): Albergo semplice ma gradevole - Mia prima visita a Lampedusa per vacanza di tre giorni. Ho soggiornato in uno dei pochi hotel aperti in quanto fuori stagione. Il personale, peraltro molto cordiale, si è mostrato disponibile ad ogno mia richiesta (noleggio auto informazioni sui siti ecc). Esperienza positiva.
KarolinaZ391 (8/5): A pleasant hotel! - We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, the cleanliness was incredible and we had a nice view from the balcony. Bathroom was spacious, clean and with a nice shower.The bus stop that goes to spiagga dei conigli was jus outside the hotel. Some things that could be improved...: The breakfast, which was not good and did not offer much, although a very nice thing is that they make their own yoghurt. The sleep quality could also be improved( but I am very picky with beds and this one was not too comfortable, it was too hard and one could feel the structure of the springs too). The sound isolation in the rooms was poor, during our stay it was quiet as there were few guest but I can imagine that during a high season it becomes an issue. However I would really recommend this hotel for your stay in Lampedusa! Before we decided for this one we went to see several others and I must say this is the one we like the most and for Lampedusa this standard is quite unique, very high and nice!
