- John (9/5): Fun place to stay . - Quirky historic building and some place different to stay . When we arrived it was dusk and no lights were on in the building and no one greeted us .

- patrizia (7/5): - The room was pleasant and most of the staff nice (apart from a slightly grumpy man in the breakfast room)
the breakfast was better than expected - we had stayed at this hotel a few times in the past and I found the coffee dreadful (but good this last time) and the offer of breakfast items very disappointing to the point we started going to Martinucci nearby to avoid the hotel breakfast - but this time, maybe because there were a few more guests staying, the breakfast was actually pleasant - keep it up! The cost for the room is very reasonable. The hotel needs some refurbishing - it looks tired and in need of some upgrading

- Dariusz (10/5): Bardzo udany pobyt w Santa Maria di Leuca.
- Mario (7/5): Prachtige historische villa, faciliteiten outdated.
Erg karig ontbijt in naastgelegen hotel.
- Anita (10/5): - Loved the location and the setting. The breakfast was lovely.
- Luke (7/5): Historic Villa great location but the room bed and bathroom need updating. - The villa is a historic well maintained building adjacent to the sea. The bedroom is large the bathroom very big. The mattress in our room is old, sag in the middle and the springs can be felt as you are sleeping. The shower cubicle is ridiculously small for the size of the bathroom.
Schoonmaak is super, elke dag schone handdoeken. Welkomstdrankje.

- Ivana (8/5): - Lication beach frint The bed bad .
- Pasquale (10/5): Exceptional - All was good and as expected very different from the Hotel Incanto same company but completely different All good
- Cecilia (7/5): Ok but no repeat - good location, front desk staff attentive.. Small private beach with beds & umbrella included thin worn out linens, no fruit @ breakfast
- Greg (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, great staff!!!!
- Michael (7/5): Good - 4 o’clock check in is very late. All other hotels are 2 or maybe 3. Ever see a 4 o’clock before. Makes it hard when you are tired from travelling and have to sit in the reception waiting for room.
Stayed in the villa, Most was fine but have to say the bed was awful.
Never slept on a mattress which was so hard and uncomfortable. My wife and I had little sleep the first night.
Second day I was able to fold 2 quilts under the bottom sheet which gave some relief.
You really must replace them with something decent otherwise the stay would have been nice.
- Cath (10/5): Wow! - What a privilege to stay somewhere this amazing, unique and historic.
Everything is antique, most of the building is a museum. There are just 4 guest bedrooms.
We felt like king and queen of this seafront palace in Leuca.
We would definitely stay here again.
- Nicholas (10/5): Memorable - Villa Meridiana is a wonderful historic building, a 1920s rotunda perfectly preserved, with original furniture. There are four bedrooms, and common areas, we were the only guests, a wraparound balcony with wonderful sea views.. We felt privileged to stay there. It is attached to the Hotel Termine, with is a lovely family run hotel, with great staff.
- Mac (10/5): Exceptional - I recently had the pleasure of staying here with my wife, and from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were not only spotlessly clean but also thoughtfully designed, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for both of us. We were equally impressed by the immaculate common areas, which were well-maintained and inviting. Throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met, showcasing a level of professionalism and warmth that made us feel right at home. My wife and I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the overall ambiance of the place. It was a perfect experience, and we highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay.
- Tina-maria (4/5): Okay if you want to dive into the old times... - The spirit of the old villa is great and the location could not be any better. The interior of the apartment is lovely to look at in order to get an idea of former times. The kitchen is very simple equipped, not suited to cook even simple dishes. No coffee maker. No espresso maker for stove. The beds are very uncomfortable and one of the bathrooms is basically just to use the toilet. The second big bathroom can only be used by walking to the bedroom. Okay for one night and people sharing the main bed & if you do not have any back issues. The view is directly to the hotel balkonies - no privacy.
- Alison (10/5): An unusual place to stay which we loved. - Huge room with lovely antique furniture and doors onto a balcony . Clean and comfortable with a kettle, bathrobes, toiletries and towels for the beach too. We booked last minute in October so it was also very reasonable for such a fantastic location and place. It's next door to the hotel where you check in and have breakfast and the pool is a few metres away too. The beach is across the road where you have use of the hotel sunbeds. Good for swimming and there's a nice walk up to the lighthouse . Really enjoyed our two night stay . Something different on our month in Italy .
- Katarzyna (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location. Just next to the sea. Great view from the balcony. Old fashion style but due to this there is a nice atmosphere.
- Ana (9/5): Nice experience - It was clean, different, nice small private beach The fact that the phone number on Booking is not of the villa, but on another place and the fact that when I rang, because the person who answered did not know English, simply hang up.
The fact the reception is not well flagged.
- Linda (10/5): Vintage hospitality and charm, can't wait to return! - Old school surroundings and hospitality; feels like a hotel stay from a 1950s book. Loved the pool, room, common area with chess and a bar, lido, and view of the ocean. Sweet touch with lemon water and cookies outside our room every afternoon. In house breakfast was just ok.
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good - Private beach with sun beds. Great location, friendly staff
- Kinga (10/5): I felt like a princess in that room-Beautiful - The whole villa is amazingly beautiful with wonderful furnishing, lovely garden and beautiful view onto the sea and the harbour.. Breakfast was very nice and I loved the little lighthouse at the roof of the house. There was no communication from the side of the hotel at all before arriving. I wrote to them more than once but no answer came.
- Nikki (10/5): Authentic lovely stay - Lovely stay in the villa which was very traditional. Lots of space in the ground floor apartment to the villa and the double room we had also upstairs.
Easy access to the pool next door and breakfast.
Fully equipped with everything you need and comfortable with outdoor balcony. Breakfast could have a little more cooked variety.
Problem with the safe which the hotel did try to fix but couldn’t seem to.
- Edel (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic stay
- Eric (8/5): Very good - Location Non c’era la televisione
- _nic (9/5): Great two-night stay - The villa is so picturesque and pretty. We loved the decor and the green spaces surrounding the pool. The bedroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The atmosphere was ideal to relax and recharge. The air conditioning in the room is loud, so it is tricky to leave it on during the night.
Although the buffet breakfast had a wide range of options, it didn't have the ingredients listed (at least we didn't see any) making it hard to check for those who have dietary restrictions. Also, the scrambled eggs did not look cooked – worth improving!
- Pat (10/5): Wonderful one night stay, having dinner in the hotel and using the pool. - Beautiful hotel and dining room chairs as very elegant! Eas not really in walking distance to any sites
- Maikel (9/5): Superb - Villa in old style was great. Made great pictures and location opposite the beach was lovely
- Jennifer (10/5): A one of a kind experience with magnificent breakfasts and very attentive staff. - The accommodation was massive and furnished with exceptional period pieces. It felt like living in another time. The bathroom was enormous and even had a bath. The breakfast had just about everything you could want. The swimming pool was also large. As I was cooking for myself I would have liked knives for food preparation. The lounge room furniture smelt a bit musty. The toilets’ flush system functioned very poorly.
- Federico (7/5): Good -
- Maria (10/5): fabulous loacation, wonderful staff in Donato, Lucio and Alessandra and all the team - Donato, Lucio and Alessandra were truly fantastic - we were made to feel so welcome and nothing was a problem for them. they truly made our holiday very enjoyable and thank you so much for their professional, friendly and helpful approach. Everything was wonderful, breakfast could have been a bit more varied. We stayed in the villa which was a new experience. No Parking available is a problem and even more so in the summer. There was parking in the villa but only for the owners of the hotel which was not very nice. When we pulled our car in to unload the suitcases, the owners of the hotel complained. Not very professional in my experience but it did not ruin our holiday.
- Sadeq (7/5): Good -
- Ece (9/5): Superb -
- Swan (10/5): A real authentic old style villa -
- Teresa (9/5): Superb -
- Michele (9/5): Superb - We were the only guests, so se had the villa all to oursrselves
Great location
Friendly staff
- Claudia (9/5): Superb -
- Rita (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Das Gebäude ist sehr schön. Zimmer sind sehr geräumig. Die Lage war hervorragend.
- Helena (10/5): Fyra dagars cykling runt Italiens klack.
- ED (8/5): In one of the historic Villas of Lucca - Great to have the chance to stay in one if the famed villas. Large room with v large bathroom fully equipped. Breakfast buffet v good. Ideal location directly opposite private beach and with added benefit of a pool too. Excellent
- Kirstine (8/5): A very special experience - Living in Villa Meridiana is a special experience. The classic and historic building is well kept with both the four guest rooms and the old library, old kitchen, center room and dining room facing the sea. Facilities of the neighbouring Hotel Terminal (pool, beach, restaurant and foyer) are to be used, however - but the rooms in the Villa add to the experience of staying there. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony - although common for all four guest rooms, it felt quite private.
In Hotel Terminal, breakfast is good, pool and beach facilities as well.
The city is small and charming. If you plan to visit Santa Maria di Leuca, and want something else than a standard hotel room, we definitily recommend a stay in Villa Meridiana.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fabulous rooms in Villa adjacent to hotel - Beautiful rooms in the 19century villa adjacent to the hotel. Each of the 5 rooms beautifully furnished and entry of 4 magnificent rooms common to all 5 rooms. Very private but only 30 metres from the Terminal Hotel pool and hotel. The hotel facilities were also excellent and the included buffet breakfast was high quality. The hotel staff were very helpful, friendly and professional.
The Villa rooms are also provided access to the private beach across the road via and under road passage. There is no parking provided but cheap all day parking is available on the road outside.
Many restaurants are close by, a short walk down the road.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Average hotel, not what you'd expect from a 4**** - Rather disappointing experience.
The averall experience and the facilities at Villa Le Meridiana is what you'd get in a 3*** hotel. Beautiful location with a great pool are the only positives. Very average breakfast (same menu for 7days), terrible experience with a shuttle bus (the driver was over 30min late and the €130 service was nothing but a shabby mini van from no suspension.
The female staff at the reception couldn't care less about organising an iron much needed to get the shirts ready for the wedding. Apparently there's no iron in the hotel! Tough luck if the cleaning/laundry facility service is not available on Sat morning.
Wouldn't go back there again.
- michael (10/5): Fantastic! - This is a gorgeous villa built in 1874 with a view of both the Ionian and Adriatic seas from it's roof top observation room. It is a fantastic place to stay. You will feel like the tsar on vacation.
