Guest Reviews
- Tracy (7/5): -
- Maria-Luz (8/5): Very good value. The staff is very helpful and friendly. - The fact that it is walking distance to the University Hospital, the location is amazing! Nothing
- Boyu (6/5): -
- Susan (8/5): -
- Pavana (7/5): -
- Prince Christopher (10/5): Comfortable - Quiet and clean and simple Nothing
- Keith (6/5): - The location was perfect for our University Hospital appointments. My laptop has a bigger screen than the TV.
- Pamela (8/5): - Home away from Home. Nothing, no.complaimts
- Grand (5/5): Despite many good stays at this location, I was disappointed at the maintenance issues today. - location close to the mall and grocery stores, bus stop, etc. Very quiet at night as the building is at the top of a hill.
Beautiful gardens and trees on the property. Very private and safe. Lots of free parking. Close to the hospital. Toilet needs better cleaning. Our toilet was not flushing well in Room 301. On the last morning, the flush got stuck and would not stop. Gallons of water was uncontrollable flushed down in about an hour and half.
Second complaint: Side lamp light had no shade, the switch was broken so the light did not work. The light was plugged in so the switch needed to be changed and a lampshade put over the bulb for safety reasons.
The mattress needs replacement as one side was a bit lopsided.
- Lajoie (7/5): - Quiet. Good parking. Reasonably priced. Helpful, friendly staff. Low key. Good location. Relaxed. Clean. The lack of furniture on the balcony. It's not really usable without some furniture.
- Juliette (10/5): -
- Naveen (5/5): -
- Philip (7/5): Overall, a clean and affordable place to stay for a night or two but lacks some small amenities. - Check-in is easy and friendly. Rooms are clean and reasonable price. Lack of smaller amenities - soap and shampoo dispensers completely empty. TV in the room is extremely small. One roll of toilet paper and no spares. One tiny trash bin, etc. I think it would benefit from small improvements like that. Place is clean and the 'bones' are there, but its lacking those little things.
- Jay (9/5): Was great ! - Close to hospital
- Dr. Annette (1/5): - A male cleaner attempted to come into my shower. I spoke to the desk manager, Mr. Wood, and he did absolutely nothing about this. When I confronted this individual after I spoke with the general manager, he smirked at me and said the camera showed that I knocked.
Individual did not knock or verbally announce himself. After this, when I was alone in the elevator, he attempted to come in with a large cart. Again, I told him to get out.
Once again, nothing was done. I have involved a lawyer and the police.
The showers are unsafe for women.
- Hickey (6/5): Should probably be less money - Pretty and convienent, super cozy Musty and old cracking amenities… chair was yucky and stained. I just wish the old stained carpets were replaced to get that old smell out (same with the pillows)
- Yichun (8/5): -
- Hewitt (8/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): My stay was amazing got to my room no problem. It was quiet and very relaxing - The property is so pretty. Nothing
- Dr. Annette (1/5): Horrible - A male cleaner did not announce his presence, attempted to come into my shower. I yelled at him to get out, he gave a weak "sorry". Then, i rec'd a call from Operations Mgr, Bruce Woods, stating he wanted to have a "chat" with me. I asked him what and he said "all the staff" had complained about me and my demeanor. They reported "I was condescending". When I asked him what he meant, who said this, he refused to give any information. He widely accused me of this without any evidence. Then, he said in his "investigation" of the male cleaner, he had looked at the camera and showed him "knocking". I asked if he was accusing me of lying. I said the camera does not extend into the shower area, and even if he knocked, he did not use any verbal warning to announce his presence. I have involved my lawyers in this matter. I am also involving the police, as when I went onto the elevator, he attempted to come in withis his cleaning cart. i again yelled at him to get out.
- O'Boyle (4/5): - Oh I like the staff they were kind and friendly what I didn't like was the hotel itself it was a little dirty and the room very tasted of dust I could tell right away when I walked in probably from the carpet it's not that it wasn't clean it's just hard to get rid of dust on a carpet like that I opened the window for about an hour I mean other than that it was okay
- Tracy (1/5): Staff was nice, very helpful but I went from a $70 room to a $180 room. And it was a complete loss. - I rented room for $69. And then they charged me to a better room for a 180, but the theory didn't work. The place was a little dirty. It was missing utensils. I had to go back 730. Because the internet wasn't working. The TV was down. It wasn't a good stay at all. I wish I could get my money back
I wouldn't recommend that place to anybody. I've charged to a better room with those service. T v didn't work half the time messine a.Was, poo in the toilet Particular reimburse me for the price of the original room would have been a better stay for half the price. The room was bigger, but not better. There's Pooh in the toilet. The internet didn't work. TV didn't work at froz. I enjoyed nothing about that stay.Would never go there again
- Helen (7/5): -
- Darlene (8/5): -
- Youry (9/5): - Nice and quiet place The price is a bit expensive for a guest house at least a compensatory breakfast could be added for the price .Overwall it was a great experience though.
- David (10/5): -
- Patricia (9/5): - Initial room booked had deficits that could not be resolved immediately ( weekend) and Reception accommodated by providing an excellent alternative for my comfort. This was very much appreciated by this weary traveler.. Frequent visitor to the Guest House and it was my most peaceful retreat.in a difficult time.
- Ian (6/5): -
- Sabina (6/5): -
- HOLMES (10/5): - Very close to the hospital we're my wife had to be. There was nothing I could say that I didn't like about the place.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Jill (8/5): Comfortable convenient location. - Bathroom was well thought out for my daughter in a wheelchair….close to hospital.
- Uwabor (8/5): -
- Katherine (10/5): - We needed a place for all our kids to stay close to University Hospital where their grandpa was on life support!
Shout out to the great staff who worked with me in the middle of the night to mKe that happen!
- Areeb (3/5): -
- LYNN (8/5): -
- Dorothy (10/5): Comfy, cozy, and relaxing - Great location, easy to find, in a quiet area.
- Lois (10/5): -

- Lois (9/5): -
- Mark (2/5): -
- Garima (9/5): -
- Allison (7/5): All I needed was an affordable place to rest and shower during my stay in London, and I got it. - I rented a single queen bed with a full bath, and it was perfectly sized for me to have enough room to be comfortable without being ridiculously big. The location is only a short drive from downtown, which made it easy to get around without having to deal with constant traffic noise during the night. The bed was also very comfortable. The staff were polite and accommodating. The facilities seemed pretty outdated; my room had chipped paint and the soap dispenser in the bathroom did not work. I also did not have a way to turn on the extractor fan for the shower. No peephole on the inside of the room's door either, and no additional interior latch or chain to secure the door besides the automatic handle lock. The balcony was also very run down and unwelcoming, more just a concrete patio with peeling paint and no furniture.
- Lynn (10/5): A peaceful oasis from the trials of the world. - Location was quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself was secure and I felt safe after a couple of terrible experiences with Airbnbs. The a/c was old and did not cool the room as much as I would have liked.
- Hannah (8/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): Great place , friendly staff , and peaceful . - Great place , friendly staff , and peaceful .
- Ken (6/5): -
- Joseph (4/5): Was clean but not the best bed or tv - Close to hospital Tv didn’t work at all and bed was not that comfortable
- Perry (8/5): - Great location for western parents, laundry facilities, close to campus, no fuss accommodation.
- Emma (7/5): - Location was good in terms if getting to western Cleanliness of the room could be better. There were stains allover the walls.
Although I had shared washroom, there could be a mirror in the room.
- Sharon (5/5): The facilities are very basic. We stay here only for the proximity to London University Hospital. - The hotel does not provide in room coffee or breakfast, so we chose a room with kitchen facilities. Some of the rooms do not come with a shower, so we chose this room because it came with a full bath and a queen bed. The room was more expensive, but we needed these conveniences. We basically chose this hotel due to its close proximity to London University Hospital since we had an early morning medical appointment. When we first entered our room the air conditioning was set at 18 degrees C. The room was freezing, and we couldn't turn on the heat. When we asked the desk how to get the heat on they said to move the arrows up or down which we told her we had already done, to which she just responded that she didn't know how, but did not volunteer to send anyone to help. The tea towel that was left for use in the kitchen was soaking wet and we had to return it to the desk and ask for another. The hotel is very picky about guests soiling their linens, to the point that they have signs in the washroom requesting that guests use the provided makeup removers and have switched their face cloths to black ones that don't show any stains. As a result, we take our own. They only provide one key for the room which can often be inconvenient. Although we chose the most expensive room the hotel has to offer, the room is quite small with a table and 2 chairs that are squished into a corner of the room.
- Angela (8/5): Great value and we will stay here again. - Location was perfect for us. Room size and number of beds was ideal. Great value. Kitchenette was well appointed. Check-in and check-out was easy. Mattresses weren't very comfortable.
- Garima (8/5): -
- Maddie (7/5): -
- Chris (10/5): Great places to stay, especially if you’re going to the hospital across the street everything is close - Very nice location very enjoyable to walk around
- Glenna (5/5): There for medical app't. - Didn't have any. Chairs. No plug ins for phones charging.
No shower.
- Angie (7/5): -
- Uwabor (9/5): -
- Darryl (9/5): - Very clean, free parking Bathrooms need an update but didn't affect my overall rating of my stay
- Conrad (10/5): Great value for money - Location was great
- GERVAIS (10/5): - Location, guest lounge
- Marianne (8/5): Great value. - Staff was lovely and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. light over bed wouldn't work
- Judy (7/5): -
- Peck (7/5): -
- sharon (9/5): Friendly staff, good size rooms and comfortable beds. - Beds were really comfortable. Love the self catering. Was clean and friendly. We were given an accessible room but didn’t need it (or know that was what we were booking). Seating was available on 3rd floor but we didn’t have access to it since we were on the 1st floor. Was slightly concerned about security since we had a room on the first floor and door to hallway was left open all day. It is in a quiet area and we had no issues but concerned that someone who wasn’t a guest could come down the hallway.
- Haugh (10/5): -
- zekun (6/5): - 有一个公共厨房,房间很干净,性价比还行 设施老旧,床太小了
- Julie (10/5): -

- sylvester (4/5): - Nothing Everything
- Brown (8/5): -
- Michelle (3/5): -
- Dohsoe (10/5): -
- Campbell (6/5): -
- Karen (5/5): Work trip in a decent cost-efficient guest room located in close proximity to University Hospital - coffee in the morning
stored baggage after checkout for the day
close proximity to University Hospital
bed was okay heater
tv - not sure usable
walls needed paint job
rusty metals exposed
no cover on the toilet
overall room needed some TLC
- Debbie (6/5): I rate my stay a 6.5. Probablyqint stay again. Sorry Not comfy - Clean Didn’t get room I booked online From the pictures and pillows are not comfy at all. Other than that good location for what we needed
- Yan (9/5): I really like the hotel - It's a very interesting hotel. It has a comfortable communal feeling. The staff is lovely. The room is simple, comfortable, and with good taste. The view is beautiful. It's a place one can enjoy stay for a few days or longer time. It's a little bit difficult to find because it's on a hill and you have to walk around to find the way. It'd help if the hotel put a sign on the nearby main road crossing.
- Weina (8/5): 很不错的,家人再来,会继续考虑住这里。 - 房间大,小厨房设备好。 没有门拴锁,安全性可以再提高一些。淋浴房有点小。
- Angie (8/5): -
- JUDITH (8/5): Tranquil accommodation. - This residence is very quiet and clean. Very good kitchen, comfortable bed and large common area. It is a good place for groups. The elevator doesn’t work but everything else was great.
- Karen (7/5): the stay was good and we would go again next time we need this location. - the room was very basic as we expected from the price, the bathroom was clean, the location was excellent for our need.
- Jean-Philippe (6/5): - It was quite convenient to be close to university for my stay! The staff was also always kind. The hotel was clearly originally intended to be a foster home, so a lot of things feel odd, for example, the bathrooms are huge. It is also crazy to pay that much and not even get a bathroom and shower by default is crazy.
- Yang (8/5): -
- Fedor (7/5): Nice place, but could use some sprucing up - Basic needs were met, everything was clean. The room and bed were comfortable. The common room was a nice airy place to have my breakfast with a view to the beautiful grounds and the riverside park. I liked the community feel. The place seemed a little dilapidated and has a distinct dorm feel. It could use a renovation. I also thought that there were a lot of little touches missing that could have made my stay excellent. For example:
* Shampoo and body wash dispensers in the common shower stalls.
* Plungers and toilet brushes in the toilet stalls so people can clean up after themselves.
* If I were running a communal kitchen where people are expected to label their food, I would put a Sharpie on a string and tie it to the fridge so that people could do so more easily.
* My second morning there, there was one single bowl in the kitchen at breakfast time (granted, people probably take them into their rooms...)
Basically, the vibe is of a place that's taken care of assiduously from day to day but with a lack of imagination or long-term planning.
- Jen (8/5): Great place, will return. - Close proximity to Western University. Quiet and away from downtown Nothing really
- Redmond (9/5): - Privacy. Parking confusion.
- Thomas (7/5): -
- changuvu (10/5): - superbe aucune
- Nancy (8/5): just what we need - for us, it's all about the location had to unplug the air conditioner to plug in a lamp. it is an old building. prices have gone up dramatically
- Tianqi (9/5): -
- Michael (7/5): -
