Balcony area was covered in leaves, feathers and other stuff, could have benefitted from a sweep daily and perhaps then we might have used it, wasn't welcoming at all. Lots of confusion and miscommunication between Booking.com, hotel and myself over cost which did cause some concern prior to stay.

- icel2026 (10/5): Highly Recommended - We stayed at Quest Ivanhoe over the holidays. The location was pretty convenient as places to eat and supermarkets were in the vicinity. Woolworth’s was in the same building as the facility. Since we are not from Australia, it was convenient for us to be able to charge easily as wall sockets and lamps in the rooms had USB ports for you to charge your devices. We were also quite happy that our room had everything from utensils and a laundry. Since we also rented a car to get around, the basement parking meant your car would be safe. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

- Anthony (8/5): - Friendly staff who clearly knew the surrounding area well. The recent renovations were a pleasent surprise specifically in the bathroom as it was fresh. Two single beds pushed together made for an awkward sleep as there was a gap in the middle. The placement of the toilet roll holder was in a particularly awkward postion. Finding the parking was also hard due to poor placement of signage which was also difficult to read. We felt like we were walking on egg shells the whole time we were in the room due to the possibilty of a $200 fine for an excessive noise complaint which was in the information booklet inside the room. This made us uncomfortable from the moment we read it.

The staff were amazing from front desk to cleaners. I was impressed and I plan to return. Keep up that high standard team, it matters to your guests.

The Reception staff (Particularly Jacinta and Bianca) were lovely and super helpful when needing to accomodate my adult daughter into our room, whilst my husband was in hospital. They helped with organizing taxis and a late permit for parking as well. Whilst it was obvious you were having a change over of furniture during our stay, this did not inconvenience us. The only criticism I have is in relation to the car park. The signage displayed in the lane does not clearly indicate a right turn into the Quest carpark. We continued down the lane into the gated area of another business. The gate closed behind us, as darkness set in, and we were unable to exit. Had to call Quest Reception to see if they could contact the business and enable us to exit. Thankfully, after some time trapped behind the gate, a car from their carpark proceeded to exit and we then followed them, whilst the gate was open. More distinct signage, that is easily seen in the evening, would have avoided this scenario.

- cgurus103237 (4/5): Good but incredibly blah - The rooms are spacious - but there is a lot missing from the space, there is no art on the walls or bedside lamps in any of the rooms, tv was not fixed to the wall - for me, it was the details that were missing and that made me feel like I was in a boarding school accommodation rather than paying a lot of money for a room the space was kept incredibly well and there was no problems - its just incredibly boring to stay at this property

I was very disappointed as this apartment was advertised as a superior 1 bed apartment and one nights accommodation wasn’t cheap. Also I received an invoice after my departure for parking and at no time was I advised that there would be a charge. I’ve stayed previously at the Quest Ivanhoe and never been charged parking. This visit for me was disappointing.

- KarinaW3680 (10/5): Great location and huge apartment - We stayed in a newly renovated apartment. Main living area is 'oversized' and spacious although they still hadn't finished soft furnishings, so it was a little bleak for our stay. Kitchen needs a few more things to make it functional although there was enough for simple meal prep. Wifi is good but TV situation is rubbish - 1 tiny TV that is not 'smart' and thus useless and no TV in bedroom. Great location, carpark is a breeze and having supermarket just downstairs was perfect. Would highly recommend another stay.

- mjgxx (6/5): Great location, being updated but disappointing for this long stay - The Apartments are in a great location in Ivanhoe near restaurants, cafe's, supermarket and bottle shop with a 10 min walk to the train station. Booked a 1 bed superior apartment for 9 nights which was spacious. Rooms are being renovated, ours had been done. Bathroom is updated with walk in shower which was great, power points were modernised with a few having dual USB connectors (USB-A, USB-C) in them which is a great innovation. Furniture was dated but reception advises it was to be updated. On arrival there was just a single very firm pillow each, no bedside lamps and no cushions on the coach. On request, reception provided extra pillow each (also very hard) and bedside lamps (not matching) and 2 cushions for the couch. The bed was a queen size and had a firm and uncomfortable (old?) mattress. Quest booking site says queen (graphic) and king size bed (in text) in this type of room. The room was on level 2 and looked South (no direct sunlight into the room) out the back of the building over the metal roof and old industrial equipment next door , not very attractive.
