- Frederic (6/5): - Wir haben uns auf den Aufenthalt gefreut, waren insgesamt aber etwas enttäuscht, da das Hotel unsere Erwartungen an ein Fünf-Sterne-Haus nicht ganz erfüllt hat. Besonders schade war, dass das Restaurant während unseres Besuchs geschlossen war. Auch die Präsentation auf der Website hat uns ein wenig in die Irre geführt: Es wird mit Bildern eines Pools geworben, der allerdings ausschließlich zu einer Suite gehört – für die normalen Zimmer gibt es leider weder Pool noch Spa. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls enttäuschend: sehr überschaubare Auswahl, kein Lachs, kein Frischkäse, kein Schinken, und der Kaffee kam lediglich aus einer Thermoskanne. Das Haus selbst ist zwar charmant und gemütlich, allerdings merkt man ihm an einigen Stellen das Alter an. In unserem Zimmer ließ sich zum Beispiel die Badezimmertür nicht verschließen – Kleinigkeiten, die in dieser Kategorie besser gelöst sein sollten. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die sehr schöne Lage in Strandnähe, den man bequem zu Fuß erreicht.
- Christophe (10/5): Un joyaux à Honfleur - Exceptionnel Un manoir transformé en hôtel de luxe, où on s’y sent tout de suite bien. Un service attentionné et personnalisé, jusqu’à notre chien. Nous avons eu la chance d’être dans la chambre numéro 2, avec une vue splendide (voir photo). Petit déjeuner très bon. A 20 min à pied de Honfleur centre touristique, et 3 min de la plage du butin. Au calme, et à portée de tout. Une véritable pause normande à savourer en amoureux. Deux petits bémols: la TV « petite » pour 2025, et pas de climatisation, ce qui pourrait être gênant durant une canicule.
- Jon (10/5): Honeymoon in honfleur - We travel ALOT and this was the best hotel we have stayed in anywhere. We spent two days of our honeymoon here and the staff welcomed us with a huge bunch of flowers and champagne, gave us the best room in the hotel and couldn’t do enough for us. We even had our small dog and she was allowed to roam the hotel off the lead and even at breakfast. The service was perfect. A great blend of privacy and awareness.
- Andreas (8/5): - Das Hotel ist sehr nah am Strand von Honfleur gelegen und in einem wunderschönen Grundstück gelegen. Die Aussicht und die Lage ist wirklich wunderschön. Wir hatten die Spa Suite für eine Woche gemietet. Die Suite hat einen eigenen Außen-Whirlpool und eine Dampfsauna. Die Trockensauna kann nicht mehr genutzt werden. Insgesamt ist hat uns das Zimmer gut gefallen. Allerdings ist das Interieur schon teilweise defekt, Pellets für den Kamin waren schon am 2. Tag verbraucht und wurden nicht mehr aufgefüllt. Die Bettwäsche wurde in den 8 Tagen nicht gewechselt. Der Müll wurde im Zimmer während unseres Aufenthalts nicht geleert. Die Getränke am Zimmer wurden nur 1x in 8 Tagen aufgefüllt. Die Reinigung des Zimmers erfolgte zwar täglich, beschränkte sich aber auf das Betten machen und saugen. Das Frühstück war wirklich enttäuschend. Es gab 8 Tage lag nur gekochten Schinken und vier Sorten Weichkäse und das bei einem Zimmerpreis von über 1.000 Euro pro Nacht. Das Abendessen hatten wir zweimal im Hotel. Das Essen war gut. Die Auswahl sehr bescheiden und teuer. 100 Euro pP muss man mindestens rechnen. Fazit: Das Hotel überzeugt durch die Lage. Der Rest ist das Geld nicht wert.
- LizRidgewoodNJ (6/5): Nice but not anything special - The hotel’s location is beautiful - up on a hill facing the sea. The manor itself is beautiful and our room was large and nicely furnished. Attention to detail is lacking. We had a room for 3 people but there were only 2 towels in the bathroom. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper, no extras in sight. The curtain in the bathroom looked like a towel. The toiletries were not great. Breakfast was not anything special.

Chaque détail est pensé pour offrir un moment inoubliable : un cadre enchanteur, un accueil chaleureux et une atmosphère apaisante. Nous repartons des souvenirs plein la tête, le cœur léger et remplis de gratitude. Merci à toutes les personnes qui, par leur attention et leur savoir-faire, rendent possible une telle parenthèse enchantée. Ce fut un privilège de pouvoir vivre cette expérience, et nous en sommes profondément reconnaissant.

- Serguei (10/5): - We had a nice stay. It is a property with a character, a hotel you take a picture of, not some generic box. Very good service. We were able to charge our car for free as there are two type 2 chargers on premises (one for Teslas and one for other cars).
- Fabrice (6/5): Hôtel bien mais sans plus - Hôtel très bien situé mais un peu vieillot. Par exemple, la porte de la chambre ne ferme pas complètement. L'agencement de la salle de bain n'est pas pratique avec la baignoire juste à côté des toilettes rendant l'entrée et la sortie de la baignoire très difficile.

- D1198PScyrilp (10/5): Wonderful experience - service as it should be!! - Probably one of the best " hotel experience " I have ever had. And I do travel a lot! The Anglo - Norman mansion is beautiful, its beach view is very pleasant however you need to know that you will see the big cranes of Le Havre Harbor right in front of you. However after a while you do not see them anymore. The sunsets are striking!! The rooms are very comfortable and the beds luscious! What made our experience so special was the people running the manoir. Everyone from Mathieu to Victor ( and the 2 young ladies ) and also William the Managing director seem to be totally focused ( and happy! ) with providing you with the best experience they possibly can manage. It is very rare today and needs to be celebrated. In addition " LaTable des Impressionistes " , the restaurant of the hotel offers great service , delicious food and delectable wines. The decor and atmosphere are conducive to a very peaceful and pleasant experience. Only the best local products are offered and you can see how passionate William is about providing you with the best dining experience! I strongly suggest anybody wanting to spend time near Honfleur to stay at Le Manoir des Impressionistes you will not be disappointed! I certainly will be back
- Verified traveler (4/5): Très mauvais souvenir, pas le niveau 5 étoiles ! - Séjour en famille dans une suite avec 2 chambres dont une sans radiateur !!! un froid terrible dans la nuit et pour réchauffer le reste de la grande surface, inclus SDB, un simple radiateur mobile .... il y a bien des radiateurs mais ils sont à peine tièdes ! la chaudière tourne au ralenti ! mais comment est ce possible dans un 5 étoiles alors que la température extérieure est de 12 degrés? Au petit déjeuner on se retrouve dans une très belle pièce a l'entrée, mais elle est glaciale ! après une nuit au froid un dejeuner glacial ! sympa....il suffirait d'allumer la cheminée, mais à 10h personne ne l'a fait ! Côté entretien la fenêtre dans l'escalier principal est pleine de toiles d'araignées, mais personne ne le voit ! sauf les clients ! le petit déjeuner etait parfait copieux même très bon mais ai un doute sur le fromage ou le jus de pamplemousse puisque à 14h ai été pris de vomissements. Un très mauvais souvenir pour nous !

- Martine (6/5): cet hôtel n'est pas fait pour un séjour - Bel emplacement pour cet hôtel, resté dans "son jus" c'est à dire qu'il manque quelques articles améliorant le confort : par ex. un petit frigo, un tél. pour joindre l'accueil en cas de besoin (je suis handicapé et l'escalier est une difficulté pour moi). En 45 nuités et compte tenu de la température, de nombreuses douches, mes serviettes n'ont jamais été changées. Le petit déjeuner est servi au compte gouttes : 2 tranches très minces de beurre, il faut demander du sucre qui est apporté (avec gentillesse) sous forme de bâtonnets (2 !)... restauration uniquement le soir, chère. Chambre bruyante : on fait habitant commun lorsque la chambre située au-dessus ou à côté est occupée : bruits de pas très sonores ! enfin pour les commodités, nuitées très chères Mais.... personnel charmant, bien à l'écoute de vos demandes.

We were recommended by some friends to try this place if ever in the locality and it did not disappoint. We left our cruise ship (docked in Le Havre) for a 30 -40 mins drive to Hornfleur. From the moment we turned up the beautifully manicured driveway, to the welcome, to the wine list, the menu, the service, the food, the wine, the Madame we could not fault this place ata ll and will most definitely be back.
- ravsiv3 (8/5): Pleasant couples stay at this Manoir - Beautiful hotel and very sweet rooms amid some nature and facing the water. There was a nice breakfast offered, while dinner is only offered Some of the days so we didn’t experience it. We also were hoping to use the spa facilities but they have converted the spa and made changes and it is only offered to those who booked the special adjacent suite. In terms of staff, we arrived in the evening for only one night and were hoping to get assistance in booking things for the next day since it was our only day there, but the woman at the reception kept saying she was busy and didn’t get around to it, which was disappointing. In the morning however, the man who replaced her was very helpful and extremely nice! So was the woman who served us breakfast. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and the place and view were very relaxing, and just a walk away from the town of Honfleur and the beach right in front.
- NOURA (4/5): very average - very beautiful place and area, outside is super well maintained, and lovely. however nothing during our stay was stunning, the 5 stars are not deserved at all. not dirty but not clean... room was too small, too noisy, the tv was not working, we had to ask for towel changing and bottle of water, 2 coffee pods per day, we're speaking about a 5 stars here, that we paid more than 300 euros per night. the amenities are minimalistic and cheap, no shampoo (the shower gel was doing both), no conditioner, no body lotion, sink clogged. I mean it supposed to be kind of romantic place... I defnititely don't understand the rate of 9.2/10 -> it's just not reflecting the reality, this place is to me at best a 7.5 - 8 not more, and definitely not a 5 stars, at best it's an acceptable 3 stars. this place needs a real refreshing to meet the standing they're selling. we didn't enjoy our stay to be honest.
- tatiana (8/5): - I wouldn’t say it’s a 5 star hotel, no more than 4. The building is beautiful, no elevator so you have to bring your baggage upstairs yourself on stairs. Keep that in mind. And most importantly there is no Air conditioning! It’s hot in the summer , was very humid when we were there. The staff is nice, gave us a fan. Fan doesn’t help much. The view is deceiving too, it is a view of the sea but it is also a view of a modern sea Port. On the photos there is a small pool, it’s not working! Closed! Last morning there was no coffee! Machine broke! The display on it said needs cleaning! No pastry either! They give you 1 slice of ham, you have to ask for another , so we had another slice No fruit but wilted apples and oranges But no pastry on our third morning at all! Even tho it was paid for. Also it’s far from town to walk. There is better hotels in the area. Restaurant in the hotel was good. Food was delicious and service was good. If you don’t like to sweat find a hotel with AC. Or go there in April/ May. At a first look at the hotel it’s beautiful tho.
- jennypO126CA (10/5): A perfect place to stay in Honfleur! - Spectacular manor just outside of the busy city center. Close enough to easily walk to the main part of the city but far enough away to be quiet and serene. We felt like we were staying in an old world castle! The rooms are gorgeously decorated and quite spacious, as was the bathroom. Service was beyond compare from our greeting upon arrival to the tasty breakfast the next morning with the best croissants in France. A special shout out to Fred who was happy to lug our very heavy luggage upstairs and serve us apple cider as we waited for our rooms to be ready. Would love to return to this beautiful oasis some day!
- Natalie (10/5): Highly Recommend! - The staff (particularly Florent) at Le Manoir des Impressionnistes are amazing! So friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I made a rather large mistake with our booking and they jumped into action to make sure that we were accommodated and comfortable. The manor is beautiful! It's on the outskirts of town, but easily accessible to everything. We walked into town for dinner and the concierge arranged a ride back to the resort. Additionally, we had a sea view room and it was delightful. The breakfast was awesome too. I can't recommend Honfleur and Le Manoir des Impressionnistes enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

- R4614WQeileenk (10/5): Absolutely perfect. - As soon as we drove up we were met by the host, who helped us with our bags and showed us to our room. It was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Views of the garden and the water. The open windows let in the sound of the surf and birdsong. It was like staying in your own home, if you happen to live in a gorgeous French manor house! Breakfast is served in the other building on the grounds - it was amazing with coffee, tea, juices, eggs, yoghurt, all kinds of fruit (the pears!!), breakfast breads and pastries, meat and cheeses. We had dinner here one night - it was perfectly delicious with the very best service and presentation. My husband had the smoked salmon and the local scallops. I would have been more jealous if I had not had the pumpkin soup and roasted duck breast with local vegetables. Everyone was just lovely. I am disappointed I only booked two nights here.

Although it was far from the center (25 min walk), and more experience then other hotels, we booked this hotel because I loved their beautiful small swimming pool. Unfortunately, when we arrived we learned that the pool & Spa is under construction. After waiting for it all day it was very disappointing.

It reminds me of an old manor house and made a very nice stay. It’s elegant, but probably a bit too high of a price for what it is. There is a restaurant on site, but everything else (the town of Honfleur) is a 7-10 minute drive.
- Charles D (10/5): Amazing French manor a bike's ride from Honfleur - This grand manor house overlooks the mouth of the Seine and offers an amazing French countryside experience. It is located just outside of Honfleur and is an easy drive to other Northwest France sites. The large lawn slopes down toward the beach and welcomes you with strolls and lounge chairs. Our room was spotless, with meticulous attention to details (like fresh local apples left for us) and a wonderful balcony view of the front lawn. We visited in the fall, but we already hope that one day we can return in the summer. We can't say enough great things about this beautiful hotel.

Perfect bed, modern bathroom, and great shower. The great service was extended to the on property restaurant where we had delicious breakfast and dinner with fantastic views. - Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a converted country manor within easy walking distance of Honfleur. You can relax with a glass of wine on the front lawn with a view of the sea and the gardens. The staff is very attentive and they serve a wonderful breakfast. This place looks like it is straight from a postcard! The rooms are very well appointed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We’re in love with this charming manor. The staff is very helpful, the decor is beautiful and the restaurant is one of the best meals we’ve had in France. To top it off, it has gorgeous ocean views, directly across the street from a beach.
- Robert (10/5): "Parfait" ( Perfect !) - As the French would say " it was "Formidable" which means outstanding and superb ! The owner Bridget is on site all the time and the staff is impeccable. While an international collection they all speak perfect English and no detail is spared. It is true European hospitality and my only regret was not having enough time to stay on property due to media requirements. My wife and I will return for a leisure visit. Honfleur is of course a one of a kind destination with exquisite dining but the Le Manoir restaurant was probably the best in the area. The breakfast is fabulous. This is a jewel in the Hotels.com tiara.
- Peter (6/5): Out stay - It was pain finding travelling to the hotel as Biarritz was crazy with people due to the amazing weather. We liked the hotel, which was a more traditional French Manor, we had a nice room with seas views. We did not eat in the restaurant as the menu was very limited. Nice hotel, however it was very expensive and we would not stay there again.

- MALCOLM (10/5): Wonderful hotel. - Great stay. All staff very attentive and accommodating. Spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Superb restaurant. Quiet location opposite beach. A 15 minute walk to Honfleur. Would highly recommend.
- Susan (10/5): - An opportunity to stay in a lovely family manor house furnished with beautiful antiques. Gorgeous grounds overlooking the beach. Comfortable walk (20 minutes) to town along the water and down a tree lined promenade. Away from the hustle and bustle and noise of city center Honfleur. Unfortunately, we missed the restaurant and spa. This is definitely a place to stay more than one day, settle in and relax. Owners are passionate about their place and business and can’t do enough to make you feel welcome. We really appreciate son William’s generosity with his time as he shared history and toured us about the facility. We truly did not want to leave!

- Jeff (10/5): Elegant charm with beautiful views at Le Manoir - Really enjoyed our stay at Le Manoir. Staff was amazing at this quaint yet elegant property, attending to our every needs. Breakfast was included with the room and every item was fantastic - the fruits, breads and yogurt were all very fresh and beautifully presented. We also had a wonderfully romantic dinner at the newly opened restaurant on the property. Another evening we ate at a restaurant in downtown Honfleur that the staff at Le Manoir recommended, which was also top-notch! We didn’t get the chance to enjoy the Spa, but the views of the mouth of the Seine (and the working port of LeHavre) from the property are very picturesque.
- Michelle (10/5): Wonderful stay, great location - We were in a “cozy” room and expected it to be small but it was a decent size. The hotel is beautiful and a short walking distance to the village. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Breakfast was filling, and we had an excellent dinner one night at the hotel. Highly recommend!

- sandy (10/5): Lovely - Beautiful 209 year old manor house. Over the top attentiveness. Dining room overlooked beach. Asked for eggs at breakfast and brought me the best eggs ever! Bathroom had double sinks which is unusual in Europe. We were there only one night but would have lloved more. Short walk to town.
- Nad (10/5): French Touch experience - Ideally located, with great views this manor offers a delightful and sophisticated french provincial hospitality. The restaurant is expensive but worth a visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice accomodations, but we felt it was overpriced. - A beautiful site. looking at the sea but directly across from the loading cranes of Le Havre harbor.The restaurant was, we felt, especially over priced. We walked into town and found great food at reasonable prices. On a positive note, the staff, all quite young, we're attentive, polite and could not have been more helpful and friendly.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Short 2 night stay - Chambre 9 - Lovely old property with beautiful sunsets. Staff very helpful and friendly. The property is a bit tired and the room could have done with some improvements ie a mini bar and replace the hand held shower which was cumbersome. Avoid the breakfast - the buffet was not completely prepared when we appeared at 8.05 and when it was at 19 Euros there was very poor choice and value.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us, a gentle 20 minute walk from Honfleur armed with all the advice and suggestions you could wish for. - Verified traveler (8/5): Nice family run Honfleur hotel - It's lovely hotel and the evening meal was good if a little pricey. However our room was very small and felt a bit cramped. Other rooms may of course be much larger
- Cheryl (10/5): Relaxing and scenic - What a lovely place! We stayed for two nights and it was just perfect. The dinner we had featured " coursed wines" as suggested by our waiter. The scallops were in season, so we added a shared plate to our already 3 course meal. I can honestly say I have never tasted a better scallop, and I've been eating them for nearly 50 years! Due to a recent leg surgery, I was using crutches to get around, and the staff was more than accommodating with offering help and even offering to bring a stool into the lounge to elevate my leg. We enjoyed evenings by the fire in the lounge with a cocktail, and also enjoyed the very comfortable bed! I also had a pedi in the spa, and it was relaxing and delightful. All in all a perfect getaway 2 night stay within a stone's throw of downtown Honfleur. If you go, do not miss the little hilltop church around the corner... Something we would not have seen if not for the helpful suggestions of the staff.
- Alan (10/5): Friendly well run hotel. - Well located hotel and staff do their best to make your stay a good experience (staff were all also multi-lingual). Breakfasts are substantial with fresh food and a varied selection to suit all. Rooms are very comfortable. There is also a bar with a wide selection of drinks. The gardens are beautifully kept with delightful views of the sea. We would be quite happy to go back again. We understand that a number of the 'Impressionist Painters' used it location for their works. There is the Eugene Boudin gallery in Honfleur. Try also the near by 'Calvados' museum well worth a visit. Good on site parking.
- Andrew (10/5): Staying at Le Manoir. - It was a extremely nice hotel with excellent service in a very good setting opposite the beach and sea. We would have liked air conditioning and maybe tea and coffee facilities, although room service was always available. However, we did stay when the temperature reached the mid thirties. The Hotel building is particularly attractive, and Bridget the proprietor is incredibly welcoming and attentive. She only wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible, along with her family and staff. The roses in our room along with the hand written welcome were very appreciated. We would definitely return for another visit.
