George (8/5): We hebben genoten - geen lopend buffet, was wel goed, maar ik heb liever zelf de keuze. Bij boeking niet gezien dat er geen lift was en zaten drie hoog . Trap lopen is voor mij moeilijk, maar is gelukt.
Hans (8/5): - ontbijt en personeel top, alleen de kamer gehorig, klok hoor je ieder uur luiden, omgeving geluid en voor de rest dikke prima. En op boeking als je restaurant aan vinkt komt deze te voorschijn. Maar je kon er dus s avonds niet eten, alleen in het weekend, hapjes, dus ik moest de deur weer uit.
Tanja (8/5): Een prettig verblijf met zeer vriendelijk personeel, een uitstekende locatie en smaakvol interieur - Het personeel was uitzonderlijk vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het ontbijt wordt in shifts geserveerd, waarbij je vooraf één van de drie tijdvakken kunt kiezen. Hierdoor is er voldoende ruimte voor persoonlijke aandacht. Wat daarnaast zeer aansprekend was, is de perfecte locatie. Ook het interieur is bijzonder smaakvol en heeft een internationaal karakter. De kamer was merkbaar gehorig. Dit werd deels veroorzaakt door de grote kerk naast het hotel, wat niet volledig te vermijden is. Daarnaast was er ook binnen het gebouw sprake van geluiden, zoals duidelijk hoorbaar geruis van de waterleidingen wanneer andere gasten douchten.

A (9/5): Leuk hotel in het centrum - Hotel ligt midden in de stad en toch vrij rustig. Hele gezellige plek om te genieten van deze mooie stad. We waren met een groep en er werd heel goed meegedacht om het ons naar de zinnetjes maken - top! Paar kleine details. In onze kamer weinig mogelijkheid om kleding op te hangen. Verder prima!

Jean Michel (7/5): Satisfaisant 😏 - Le service à table est peut-être bien, cela permet d'avoir moins de perte, mais si l'on séjourne une semaine, le plateau serait-il différent ? Sur notre séjour de quelques jours, il était identique. Bénéficier de l'une des dernières chambres de l'hôtel, dans les combles au 2e étage sans ascenseur, avec des problèmes au genou, c'était compliqué. Durant la 1re nuit, bien difficile, j'ai trouvé qu'il y avait beaucoup d'air qui passait au niveau de la fenêtre (petite tempête cette nuit-là) jusqu'à ce que je me rende compte le lendemain matin qu'elle était mal fermée 🫤. Certainement le service de chambre ! Je trouve qu'il manquait également un peignoir de bain, bien pratique pour sortir de la douche. Nous avons séjourné dans un 4 étoiles ailleurs il y a quelques mois et les prestations étaient meilleures ! Concernant le petit déjeuner, une table plus grande aurait été mieux je pense.

Appqrtement Violet: Het bed: véél te dun dekbed voor de tijd van dit jaar en het matras was van erg matige kwaliteit: veel te zacht met een kuil in het matras.. In de woonkamer van het appartement lag een kleed op de grond waarvan een hoek vh kleed gekruld was, makkelijk om over te struikelen /vallen. Aangegeven bij de dame van de receptie maar die wist dat zei ze en: "dat was al vanaf het begin" ...?? De badkamer is heel erg klein inclusief wc. Geen plankje of ruimte voor toilettas(sen) Verlichting in het appartement is erg ongezellig, soort van oranje/geel licht in de woonkamer. Verlichting in slaapkamer is prima. De ruimte en balkon bij de slaapkamer ook prima.

karine (10/5): Top on a adoré - L’emplacement est top juste à l’entrée du centre ville proche de la grand place L’hôtel est très stylé . On avait pris la suite présidentielle . Petit dej servi à table et très bien servi ! Le personnel est très accueillant, souriant . Il y a des parkings aux alentours à une dizaine de marche à pieds . Sinon , il y a un service de valet pour aller garer votre voiture dans un parking payant en laissant votre voiture à l’entrée de l’hôtel . Le parking p6 est le plus proche mais nous c’était complet car le samedi c’est jour de marché , on a trouvé le parking proche de la gare . Il était à 9 e/ jour et au final , on a rien payé du week-end.

Room was small and organized in a way that circulating with two people was really difficult. This was not clear from the pictures or description of the room. The walls are poorly insulated, so nightly noises from other guests were disturbing. Public car parking is at a distance and rather expensive

Claudy (10/5): - We hadden appartement Violet. Appartement lag schuin tegenover het Hotel. Appartement zag er keurig uit. Goede sfeer, bagageservice, hotelpersoneel was erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt was echt super uitgebreid verzorgd. Je kreeg het ontbijt aan tafel geserveerd. Toplocatie! Aanrader.
Tjeu (7/5): Goede rustige overnachting, dichtbij ons evenement. - Uitestekende locatie. We hadden parkeerproblemen verwacht (in verband met beperkte mobiliteit), maar er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid in de buurt. Natte honden voor je kamerdeur is niet wat je in een klasse-hotel verwacht.
Stephan (6/5): Das war das letzte Mal für uns im Hotel The Roosevelt. - Die Lage ist sehr schöne in der nähe des Stadtkerns von Middelburg gelegen. Das Zimmer war zu dunkel. Es gab kaum Hacken um die Handtücher aufzuhängen. Es gab keinen Schrank nur eine kleine Kommode und ein Regal. Das ist zu wenig. Der Zimmerservice hat uns einmal "vergessen". Wenigstens Handtücher und Toilettenrollen hätte man vor die Tür legen können. Es gab keine Möglichkeit dem Zimmerservice zu signalisieren, ob das das Zimmer frei oder belegt ist. Es wurden Handtücher ausgetauscht die nicht auf dem Boden lagen. Das ist nicht Nachhaltig. Der Kühlschrank hat seinen Namen nicht verdient und war auch noch zu laut. Die Tische im Frühstücksraum sind zu klein.

ANNE (7/5): Centraal gelegen hotel. - Mooi, historisch gebouw. Zeer centraal gelegen. Gezellige bar. Het lekkere ontbijt werd verzorgd door 2 vriendelijke dames. De dame die ons incheckte sprak enkel Engels. Niet dat de Engelse taal een probleem voor ons is, maar wanneer je in Nederland op vakantie bent verwacht je niet dat je een andere taal moet spreken. De kamer was niet echt netjes. Het zeer kleine plaatsje (met een stapje naar beneden 😯) in de kamer, dat moest doorgaan voor kleerkast, was zeer onhandig en had bijna geen bergruimte. Er was enkel een kleerhanger, maar geen kleerleggers. Het tafeltje bij het ontbijt is ongelooflijk klein.
Dries (8/5): - Mooie accommodatie. Vriendelijke mensen. En een fijne locatie om 's avonds nog eens iets te gaan drinken, alles is dichtbij en je hoeft niet te verplaatsen met de wagen. Ik had gelezen dat je sowieso de wagen op 10minuten wandelen moest parkeren, maar wij hadden tijdens het verblijf telkens de kans om vlakbij het hotel te parkeren (mits betaling). Maar het was van ons misschien ook wel een meer rustige periode, waardoor dit mogelijk was. Persoonlijk ben ik meer voorstander van ontbijt in buffetvorm. Bij ontbijt aan tafel is de keuze net iets beperkter. Er was aangegeven bij het boeken om de bedden uit elkaar te zetten en dat was niet het geval bij aankomst. Uiteindelijk hebben we er geen punt van gemaakt, maar was wel jammer.

Zita (6/5): Prima locatie in het centrum van Middelburg - Top locatie, kleurrijke, verzorgde inrichting. Slecht bed met kuilen in het matras. Verkalkte stortdouche, die overigens na melding wel werd ontkalkt. Lege shampoo en douchegel dispenser, wel een theedoek , maar geen afwasmiddel bij aankomst. Dit werd op verzoek wel aangevuld, maar jammer genoeg kom je hier pas achter als je het wil gebruiken, dit hoort gewoon vooraf gecontroleerd te zijn. Er wordt €25,- per nacht extra gerekend voor een hond, maar behalve een handdoek wissel is er geen dagelijkse schoonmaak.
Niels (9/5): - Het ontbijt dat voor je klaargemaakt wordt is geweldig. Eitjes op maat, geen buffet waar je doorheen moet, gewoon lekker dingen aan je tafeltje. Eigenlijk niets, maar een plus als er ook Weizen-biertjes zouden zijn bij de bar.
Diane (9/5): Heerlijke hotelletje voor een weekendje weg! - Kamer en bed waren comfortabel, de badkamer met het grote bad 🛁 was lekker luxe! Prima ontbijt ook! Lekkere Zeeuwse Babbelaars bij de receptie! 😋 Ik heb eigenlijk de wellnessfaciliteiten niet kunnen ontdekken. Is ook niets over gezegd.
PHMS (7/5): Ik vond het hotel geen viersterren waardig en ook de prijs vond ik te hoog - het bed want dat sliep heerlijk en ook goede kussens The Roosevelt is een viersterren hotel. Van een viersterren hotel verwacht ik dat een lift naar alle verdiepingen aanwezig is (alleen een lift naar de 1e verdieping). Om de overige verdiepingen te bereiken moet je via een wenteltrap van 46 treden naar de 2e verdieping. Als je de trap naar boven moet gaan is dit met een koffer niet gemakkelijk (zeker voor oudere bezoekers). Verder was er op de kamer alleen een kapstok waar je de kleren kon hangen. Je moest als het ware uit je koffer leven (ook dit is niet 4 sterren waardig). De badkamer was verdeeld over 3 ruimten (een aparte ruimte voor de douche, een aparte ruimte voor de toilet en een open gedeelte met een wastafel en spiegel.
Mirjam (8/5): Chaotisch maar mede door onze bijzonder flexibele opstelling hebben we het wel fijn gehad - De luxe uitstraling en ligging Urine op de toiletbril bij aankomst. geen wc papier en gebruikte handdoekjes op de kamer Dag 2 : Bij het ontbijt hoorden we dat we van kamer moesten wisselen want er was een fout gemaakt Dag 1: s middags ingecheckt en betaald . Savonds tijdens een voorstelling in de schouwburg werden we gebeld of we nog aan zouden komen . Dag 2 bij het ophalen van de sleutel van de nieuwe kamer werd ons verteld dat we nog moesten betalen Kortom Een opeenstapeling van fouten. Achteraf besef je eigenlijk dat ons niet eens een drankje was aangeboden voor al het ongemak .

gita (3/5): Zeer ontgoochelend en ondermaats. We hebben ons nog nooit zo ‘niet welkom’ gevoeld. - We waren daar met het gezin (2 kinderen van 7 en 10) om oud op nieuw te vieren. Het was ons niet duidelijk dat er voor oudjaar in de bar gereserveerd moest worden. Toen we om 17.00 u aankwamen werd ons door een onvriendelijke medewerker duidelijk gemaakt dat er geen plaats was voor ons, zelfs niet voor een drankje en werden we zonder veel woorden naar onze kamer verwezen. Het was dus niet mogelijk om op oudjaar als gast in het hotel waar je geboekt had iets te drinken. Laat staan iets te eten. We hebben noodgedwongen een andere plek moeten zoeken omdat we in het hotel waar we logeerden niet welkom waren! Ook gebruik van de ‘welnessfaciliteiten’ was niet mogelijk. Tenzij op 1 januari om 8 uur in de ochtend maar dan was ontbijten niet mogelijk. De slaapzetel in de familiekamer is ook duidelijk aan vernieuwing toe. We hadden voor 2 dagen geboekt en zijn na 1 nacht vertrokken. We hebben onze gerieven duidelijk gemaakt bij vertrek en later ook aan de verantwoordelijke per mail. Na ongeveer 2 weken en een reminder kregen we reactie. En dat was niet wat we gehoopt hadden…
Erwin (5/5): Op zicht een aardig hotel, maar met zwak management. - De ligging is prima, echter de dichtstbijzijnde parkeergarage is op 15 minuten lopen. De beveiliging is onder de maat. Geen nachtportier in het pand en een buitendeur die tijdens de avond openstond. Bij een incident met indringers in de nacht werd door de “manager” lauw en niet adequaat gereageerd.

Caroline (8/5): Aanrader! - Moderne ingerichte kamer met behoud van authentieke details van het monumentale pand. Zeer comfortabel, heerlijk (groot) bed. Ik sliep in kamer 1 op de begane grond. Super ontbijt en personeel erg gastvrij en behulpzaam. De kerstversiering buiten mag van mij eind januari wel weg ;-)

Jeffrey (9/5): Fantastisch! - Het ontbijt en het niet zo massale vonden wij erg fijn. Verder was alles erg schoon en het personeel erg vriendelijk. Misschien de isolatie. Het is soms iets gehorig. Je moet geen buren naast je hebben met luid gedrag. Dan is het verstandig om oordopjes mee te nemen.
