• maz (10/5): Just perfect - I just left this hotel yesterday & i was really sorry to leave, it is a little way from the centre, which i knew before i went there it didn't bother me as i like to walk & explore but tuk tuks are outside if & when you need them the gardens are lush lovely & green all around the pool area & very well looked after. There is towels at pool for you, plenty sun beds while i was there, breakfast was included in the very good price, & the morning i did Angkor wat they did a breakfast box for me, i had a big room, very clean comfy double bed, fridge, kettle tea & coffee, aircon & something really important to me there was a bath for me to soak in after lots of walking in the beautiful hot weather, also clean drinking water brought to your room each day & if you need more you can get it, house cleaning each day alo g with always clean towels. The staff were wonderful honestly it was a joy to stay there i have been travelling around Asia & stayed at all different hotels, hostels, guesthouses but The Kouprey stands out one of the best to me its so quiet & peaceful just to sit on your balcony just listening to the birds with a cup of coffee was just bliss i wud return to this hotel tomorrow. Thank you for a memorable stay on my 3month trip. Leaving. If anything, i wud have liked a better reading lamp.

• Doogra (8/5): Kouprey Hotel is a little garden paradise with a really pleasant and comitted staff. - The staff was very attentive to my needs and served me a special 'western' breakfast every day including bacon, eggs, ham. The property is basically a well tended garden with a mix of trees and vegetation. The view from my balcony room was just a nice green canopy through which I could see the crystal clear pool. Drinking water is free - they use glass bottles and provide filling stations - and on several occasions they left me fresh fruit with a personalized note. If you have your own moto, there is lots of parking with shade and also full time security. The staff were always pleasant and respectful and interested in asking me if my needs were being met. You can see they are trained to prioritize their guests and show them they care. It is noted by me and also appreciated too. Thank you everyone - I miss you already! I like the location but many tourists would not as its a bit further from the hub of excitement and too far to walk to pub St - but there are lots of places to find food on foot, even a very good Khmer BBQ just 2 minutes away - Heng Heng. So, for me, I liked the location because its a short tuk tuk ride, and/or you can use a moto like I did. What Kouprey could improve would easily be acheived but would cost a bit of money of course. The beds are typical in Cambodia but they are a bit hard and could benefit from a softer topper for more sleeping comfort. (the bedding is good and clean) The water is noticeably brown, and if it runs on a white wash cloth it even leaves a stain. I think this has to do with the storage tanks, not necessarily the water in the ground. If I am right, They should flush their tanks - or line them - or replace them with stainless steel. I dont like having to leave such a great review because this place offers very excellent value for money and I would prefer to keep that little secret to myself. Next time I come I am sure the prices will be higher, because I tell the world how great you are - but I must do what is right and give the praise where it is deserved. Again - well done everyone on the Kouprey team - ah kun.

The pool is large, well-maintained, and beautifully set among lush greenery, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy throughout the entire day. The rooms are spacious and offer a beautiful garden view, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, kind, and helpful, and the quiet surroundings make it easy to truly unwind. There is a well-stocked supermarket nearby where you can find everything you need. The hotel is a bit further from the city center, but thanks to that, it’s a perfect place to relax away from the noise. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend it. Breakfasts were mainly based on local cuisine, which might be a bit heavy for guests who are not used to it. The toast with jam and fresh fruit were a option and helped balance things out. It would be wonderful if a few more light, more “continental-style” breakfast options could be added, to better suit different tastes and preferences.

• Alfred (7/5): Very great value for money. - Off the road and the business of the city centre and pub st. The property is full of vegetation and beautiful flowering plants. Buffet is not great however they will cook you (their version of) an American breakfast including bacon and eggs. I loved the view from my room window. Staff is very nice and accommodating. The water is a bit discoloured - the bed is a bit hard - the bedding could be newer even though it was clean.

Расположение не далеко от центра (я сразу взял байк в аренду) и до храмов то же рядом. Номер супер, чистота, уборка и смена полотенец каждый день. Этот отель как оазис, достаточно большой бассейн, на лежаках приготовлены полотенца. Территория не большая, но очень уютная. Завтраки вполне, голодными не останитетесь. Персонал выше всяких похвал. На все мои просьбы моментальное решение. В общем отельчик супер! Нет нареканий.

• Sebastian (10/5): - I've been staying at this hotel now for around one month and really can say it's been one of my favourite places that I've stayed in south east asia! It's like a small oasis in Siem Reap, the grounds are beautifully maintained and make you feel like you're in the jungle with all of the vegetation and the occasional wildlife. The swimming pool is nice and large enough to swim lengths! It's a very tranquil and peaceful place! The staff are all lovely and attentive and the hotel is kept meticulously clean! Breakfast is included which is great value and is a buffet style! Although the hotel is a little bit out of the centre there is a large supermarket nearby within a 5 minute walk along with a couple of nice restaurants and a few other amenities. To walk into the centre it takes about 20/30 minutes but you can easily take a tuktuk or rent a moto! I only intended to stay one week whilst I searched for an apartment but I've ended up staying much longer. All in I highly recommend this hotel. Nothing I can think of.

Miło się wracało wieczorem do takiego miejsca. Celowo wybraliśmy hotel trochę na uboczu. Po za tym jest czysto, pokoje wygodne i przestronne, wielkie łóżka. Śniadania w porządku, bez rewelacji ale ok. Hotel ma swoją restaurację, w której można zjeść posiłek czy wypić piwo wieczorem, ceny na plus.
• Laura (10/5): Lovely, peaceful Siem Reap retreat - A really lovely setting for this hotel. It is small enough not to feel overcrowded. The room size was good and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also good. The cleanliness was perfect and the room was cleaned well each day with fresh water given. The pool was very pleasant, beach towels were also provided. Breakfast was good. The location was ok. We were bit far out from the night life of Pub Street, but a short rickshaw ride and there was always one available for us, provided by the hotel for a small fee.

• Chris (10/5): Perfect! - Het beste verblijf van onze vakantie! Een heel fijn binnenkomen in Cambodja met lieve mensen en een ongekend goed hotel voor het geld dat je betaald. Zwembad is ook erg fijn en rustig. Bovendien een goed ontbijt die ze ook voor je inpakken als je Angkor Wat gaat bezoeken in de vroege ochtend. Een absolute must-stay in Siem Reap! Niks

Having the idol altar burning incense in the corner where the guard or Tuktuk driver was waiting/sitting. It was spooky and not pleasant for tourists, especially non-Buddhists. He didn't have a name tag. Hard to tell what was his function on the property.

Decent breakfast and a good packed breakfast when I did a sunrise tour. Nice swimming pool A little distance from the centre but only 10mins and $1.5 by Grab

Beautiful tended gardens and fantastic clean pool area with clean fresh towels. Massages done in room would prefer a nice relaxed area away from the room.
• Safira (9/5): Great! - The staff is incredible and very helpful. We took a night sleeper bus, checked out at 11am and left our luggage at the hotel. When we came back later to pick it up, they kindly asked if we would like to take a shower before our bus, free of charge. Thank you so much for that!

• Kym (10/5): - Put simply, the staff are amazing, so helpful and warm. The room was big, the bathroom was big and the bed was extremely comfortable. A big plus is also the swimming pool, after walking for hours in the heat of the temples the pool was great. I would say the location is a bit far from the centre of Siem Reap, but this wasn't an issue for us as we had rented a Moto so this wasn't an issue at all.

• Alessandro (10/5): Great value for money and attentive staff - Spent 10 nights here in February 2026, room on the 1st floor overlooking the quiet neighbourhood, not the pool. It's a simple hotel, but with great value for money. The room, bathroom and balcony were large and clean, the ac worked perfectly, and I loved the firm mattress. The pool was nice, with towels provided. Breakfast was basic, but in line with what you pay. I really appreciated all the staff (reception, restaurant and cleaning) which very always so so kind, efficient and helpful. Wish all of them the best! In my room (1st floor) Internet was very weak but I managed with data connection. The hotel is not central. It is some 3km from riverside/centre so not a short walk. I had a scooter and it was pretty easy to move around , otherwise tuk tuks are always at hand and cheap (approx 2 usd)

Staff helps with everythig Only thing is that the area its located in is a little bit far from center and i didn't feel comfortable walking there alone (but i guess thats just my problem)

• Wreb15 (9/5): Lovely Boutique Hotel - I liked that every room had a balcony , the pool area was welcoming the restaurant served good quality food and the staff throughout were excellent, exceptional for the price It was a little far from the main town but a cheap tuk tuk ride took care of that , there are shops and restaurants close by however
