- CHI HO (6/5): - It’s fair for the price but what I really don’t like is the bad sewage smell in the bathroom. I rented two rooms and they are both like that. I stayed there for 2 nights and I even used my own disinfecting spray in the bathroom. Unfortunately the bad smell was still there. The good thing is the A/C is really cold and hot water for the shower is hot. Overall it’s not too bad given its price and location. But that’s not a hotel I would go back.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - I stayed two nights in a single occupancy room. The room is small but clean. Fresh towels were provided for the 2nd day but no change to the bed linen and no room cleaning but that was fine by me. A slight disappointment was breakfast - the omelet was too salty on the 1st day.

Bidet was awesome, water/shower pressure and temperature were great! Plenty of places to eat and within a few steps from the hotel. We even got to see the tip of Mt Fuji from our room!

- Verified traveler (8/5): - I like the overall location of the hotel; it's very easy to find and it doesn't take very long to get to the hotel by walking from Chiba station. The hotel is quite grand in appearance from the entrance to the lobby, restaurant and the area from the elevators to the room. The room itself was very good as was the shower. A keycard is used to access your room. The keycard must also be used in the elevator when going up to your room from the lobby as access to other floors aren't possible unless you swipe your card; this is a good security measure as the public is free to enter the lobby to use the restaurant, etc. There is Wi-Fi available in the hotel, but unfortunately it was not fast enough or consistent during my stay. I connected my iPad and my Android phone and the speed was slow and almost not useable. I would stay at the hotel again, but I won't be depending on or expecting the Wi-Fi to be good.

- Lex (8/5): - We participated in Spartan race held at nearby German Village park and booked this room mainly for sleeping purpose, didn't get to explore the area but it seemed it was centrally located... surrounded by many restaurants and bars. I opted to not have room cleaned because I didn't have time to put my things away before leaving my room in the morning, but upon coming in to my room that night, the staff left fresh towels and pajamas in a bag hanging at our door. I appreciated this service and thought it was nice not having to call front desk to request. The value for the room booked was great. If ever in the same area again, I would stay at this property. ...oh and if you're driving, they have parking (in and out) available for JPY 1500 per day.

- Wil (8/5): Convenient hotel easy walk to train station - Nice, clean hotel close to Chiba rail station. Rooms are small and tight but looking at Japanese homes, this is part of their heritage. Did not mind that we had no AC since we arrived in the Spring and nights were cool so opening the window kept the room cool. Loved the detail of toiletries which included everything from ear swabs to toothbrush! The shower was strong and nice and the toilet/bidet was awesome. The hotel restaurant was not exciting unless you like true, raw, Japanese restaurant. We ate at Volks which was just one block away from the hotel. The bar/lounge equally not exciting. Drinks were expensive and small. There seems something in Japanese culture that says less is more. For example, I ordered a martini and it came in a small shot like glass! The cost was $14 in Japanese Yen. Overall, I like this quaint hotel and definitely will come back.

- Robin (8/5): Pretty good if you get a low price - A good hotel, especially considering I had a low price. Nothing really stands out, it was just generally good. Good free toiletries and bathroom, for a solo room. A bit far from the nearest station.

- Anthony (10/5): - This hotel is in Chiba which is about 48 minutes train ride outside of Tokyo. Good value for money with friendly staff and clean rooms. The hotel could do with being modernized but do not let this put you off. Breakfast is also good.

- LOK SUN (8/5): Nice hotel at great value - The hotel is quite new and located nearby the city centre of Chiba. There is a large open public space just across the street from the front entrance of the hotel. The rooms are large enough to accommodate our luggage and furniture inside for a comfortable stay of two nights. We have greats views of the Chiba Garden not far away from our room windows. The staff are nice and friendly to provide all the information that we need. The very reasonable cost of the room including buffet breakfast is only half of that for another hotel in Ueno during our earlier stay in Japan.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great sleep for the money! - Here on a business trip. Had a great night's sleep every night. Hotel was full, busy but quiet. Room is on the small side but better than I expected. And, price is an excellent value!
