Guest Reviews
- DOMINIQUE (8/5): Très bien. - Très bon accueil. Chambre très confortable. Bon petit-déjeuner buffet.
- anh khanh (8/5): - Good
- Hai Chau (8/5): - A little noisy. The room is nice and clean. Fridge is in the room but no hair dryer.
- Daniel (10/5): - T
- Phat Viet (8/5): - We hired 3 x room, 2 of the front rooms was quite noise and smell of food from street vendors from 5am. However, the hotel deserves a good pass mark for the effort it put on, in overall.
- Saphina (6/5): - Good location, convenient walking distance for food. Room is big and clean but super noisy traffic all day and night. You can also hear your neighbors when they closed door and talking outside. Cannot sleep.
Improvement for property: Install double pane doors and windows to prevent traffic noise and people talking, then this hotel would be a great place to stay.
- JOEY (8/5): Convenient location - Convenient location
- YOSHITERU (2/5): - 従業員のサービスが最悪です
- Dung (2/5): - First, the customer service is terrible (there is no welcome smile since check in till check out). Hotel is sharing with a shipping and transportation company hence it's very noisy and messy. There are lots of street beggars around the hotel causing a very unsafe feelings every time I go out. Elevator is not working hence I have to using the stairs from 5th floor. In general, it's terrible mistake to stay at this hotel. Luckily, I only stay one night and it's already a nightmare.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Vị trí tốt
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value for money choice in heart of Chau Doc - Reasonably new hotel centrally located in Chau Doc. Efficient courteous helpful check in. Ticketed (no charge) parking nearby. Room simple, clean, uncluttered with standard amenities. Good lighting and A/C. Bathroom on small side. No dining room breakfast offered.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hôtel très propre et fonctionnel
Personnel parlant peu l'anglais mais serviable
Pas placé prés de la gare routière comme je le pensais
Pas trop loin de la rivière;
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Uncomfortable bed and slightly below 3 stars standard breakfast
- Verified traveler (6/5): - ホテルの隣に同じグループのバス会社があるので周辺部に移動するのには便利。設備は可もなく不可もなく。
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Near to the market, every thing good , will come back.
- Simon (4/5): - Mostly good but the restaurant was atrocious.no service, bad food and a contemtuous attitude. After Vietnamese left they turned air conditioning off. I had to insist they turn it back on. I complained to reception tried to say a problem with the air. Rating z-
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I stayed at several hotels in Vietnam at a similar price point, this one was probably the nicest. Clean, modern furnishings, great lighting, awesome bathroom.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Chambre propre et confortable, personnel en général bête et un étranger qui s’est trompé de chambre est entré dans la notre avec sa clé, disons que cela réveille mal.
- Dominik (8/5): Clean and well located - We stayed one night in Chau Doc and this hotel provided well our needs. It is well located and very clean. The staff could speak a bit English so we managed to check in relatively quickly. The only drawback was the sound of some construction above us. A drill woke us up at 7 am and this wasn't really pleasant. Besides that it was a nice stay.
- Khuong dinh bao (10/5): Nice and clean is my priority - Clean, comfort, and convenient of this hotel is a reason for my frist choice when go to Chau Doc.
- Louis (10/5): Great Place to stay in Chau doc - We stayed here one night.
Hotel was really clean, newly built (or renovated)
All was just perfect.
Best price/quality ratio for our complete trip !
- Dean (6/5): Clean hotel with a few let downs - Hotel was ok. Clean rooms but the front of the hotel is a bus station/courier company. Always loads of boxes and bags and people at the enterance. We thought the park opposite was nice until we realised it is absolutely rat infested. Slowest elevate ever!
- Verified traveler (8/5): No complaints - A good breakfast on the top floor with a nice views. We only spent one night here and had no complaints. They offer bus service to other cities just two doors down.
- Francis (6/5): Ordinary - Ordinary Hotel and bad breakfast.
It’s a big stop bus
But good location
You can rent a motorcycle
- jane (6/5): Non descript great staff next door to bus stn - We arrived from Cambodia by boat. Checked in early. The hotel is clean rooms are clean and very unremarkable
We wanted to book a tour and the staff was great recommended Mrs Sans tours. They even called her, she came over to the hotel and we booked a full day. This was the best tour I have ever booked.
- Nathan (10/5): Clean and modern, very friendly ! - Super friendly and helpful staff that spoke good English helped me out. The rooms and hotel are clean and modern and breakfast was good. They even helped book my next days outtings and transport. Very good stay.
- Arlene (10/5): Great Hotel, Great Location - This hotel is located right in the heart of town. The Park and main market as well as the night market are just out the front door of the hotel. The staff have very good English skills and are eager to please. They looked after our fastboat booking for us having us picked up at the door. No surcharge, straight $25 boat fee.
If there was one singular thing that was not to our liking, that would be that the bed was firm, and I mean very firm.. Hard in fact. That was the only thing that stopped us from giving a 5 in room comfort. All the rest of it is 5's for sure. In Chau Doc, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
- Poh (8/5): Pp - Nice place
- Ian (4/5): - This hotel is located at the busy area have no privacy and service at all. Not recommended at all.
- Janelle (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was comfortable. Good location to town
- Verified traveler (8/5): Close to the market - Every things about hotel are nice except the bed little too hard for us other wise every things very good
- busybee (6/5): Good location in the centre of town - Hardest bed I have ever slept on. Shower head not fixed to the wall, holes were there but obviously nobody has gotten around to attaching it. No waste bin in the room. Modern, clean rooms with complimentary water. No safe. The town is overrun with rats so it was good to feel that these rooms were vermin free.
- Coleen (8/5): Good place for a short layover - The hotel was clean and comfortable if a little bland.
The breakfast was very nice and the young staff were incredibly nice and helpful. And, there was always someone around who spoke English.
The best part is they have their own bus service to Can Tho that leaves frequently from outside the hotel for only 90k.
- sam (8/5): Good location easy to catch bus - We stop by this hotel to lay over for the next city
- Myra (2/5): Won't recommend to stay here - The hotel doesn't supply soap for the wash basin. They expect you to walk in the shower to squeeze liquid soap every time you need to wash hands. The beds are not very comfortable. The breakfast is not good. We arrived in the afternoon to check in & the room still wasn't made up, so we had to wait for another hour. There is someone talking constantly over a public microphone through the night somewhere outside which was so loud, preventing us from being able to sleep.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Modern hotel central - This is a good hotel located centrally in the city. Booked superior double and the room was in great condition with ac working well and good bathroom facilities.
A small city so we didn't expect much, we used this as a night layover before taking the boat to Phnom Pehn Cambodia. There are many local and some western style restaurants in very close proximity.
The morning breakfast at 6am was excellent and spectacular view from the 8th floor. Staff were very friendly and although the booking suggests you must call if arriving after 6pm we noticed they still manned reception but just closed the slide doors in front of them.
If you're arriving by bus to Chau Doc you're a 10 minute drive away from the hotel and taxi is the only real option. We paid US$4 for 2 people I had the impression taxis' charge $2 per person per trip.
- alan (2/5): - crap ,noisy , useless staff woken at 6 every morning by incredibly noisy cleaners , uncomfortable foam mattress , if you like to sleep avoid this place like the plague
- Michelle (8/5): Great value hotel for Chau Doc stopover! - The hotel is very centrally located (although there really isn't alot to see / do in Chau Doc & we were there just for a one night stopover). The rooms were very clean & spacious (we booked the deluxe with balcony) & actually much better than I was expecting for the cheap price! Great value & would definitely recommend the hotel to other travellers. The very authentic local market (which is just around the corner) is worth a look if you have time! The staff spoke English well & were very helpful in booking our onward journey (bus to Ha Tien & ferry to Phu Quoc). Only complaint would be lack of response to emails I had sent through before we arrived... but all was fine once we got there!
- alan (2/5): modernish hotel in a grotty town - this hotel is among a few of the worst hotels that i have had the misfortune to stay in , if you like to sleep this hotel is not for you , the cleaning staff start at six , they are the loudest people that i have ever heard , you could hear them from a mile away , and if you were fortunate to be asleep you wouldnt be for long, i had alarm calls at six that i didnt order , when i complained , i wish that i hadnt bothered , and when my smoke alarm light started flashing and woke me early one morning i complained to the desk ,the desk clerk started laughing , two not very bright people then came to the room , both didnt have a clue what to do , but one decided to stand on the bed, while my wife was in bed , the upshot is another night without sleep , if this hotel was free i wouldnt stay there again and the hotel staff are completely useless and not very bright
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location.
- Beautiful and modern hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient. Located over the road from a temple and pleasant Park, close to food.
- caitie (8/5): Good value place for a night - Clean, comfortable and decently sized rooms. Great to crash for a night in Chau Doc before moving on. There were lots of mosquitos in our room, but otherwise had a good stay.
- Christoph (8/5): Great value - Hotel is fairly new and in great shape. The room was clean and spacious for that low price. The bathroom was great.
Location of the hotel is good, too. Very close to restaurants and the market.
Breakfast was tasty and with a very fast service what is great when u have to catch a early bus. Since the breakfast is served on the top floor u also have a great sunrise view if u get up early
One negative point was that we had some mosquitos (probably someone left the window open the night before?). After a quick "hunt" the problem was solved.
Overall a great value.
- Quynh (10/5): Excellent - Everything was perfect for this price. Good location, new facility, staff was great too
- Felicity (6/5): Nice hotel with a few teething issues. Good value - We had a balcony room on the fourth floor overlooking the bus station and square. The room is extremely modern and spotlessly clean. Mattress is new and hard. Wifi strong and airconditioning good. Shower strong and hot. Very nice bathroom. Things that need improving are the lighting in the public areas at night. It is also noisy from about 4am if you face the square with the temple gongs starting then and the busses not long after. A room at the back would be better.
- brian (6/5): Bad staff - This is a lovely hotel but the staff are not helpful and seem not to care.
- Hayley (10/5): Very modern and clean hotel - staff speak just enough English to get buy. The hotel is new and the rooms are beautiful. It is a central location in town. Right across from a prayer area though so be prepared for gongs at 4.30am. Not sure if it was just when we were there - Sat 24/1/15 and Sun 25/1/15. Buffet breakfast is nice. The air con worked really well. Bathroom quite large too. We were in the Delux Room which also had a balcony. Would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Town Hotel - New hotel. The deluxe room for $24 was good value. Would stay again. Breakfast is meager, not a real breakfast. Hotel booked out bus to ha Tien with speedboat to Ohu Quoc Island.
- henry (8/5): Hotel @ Good location - Taking coach from HCM to Chau Doc by coach & reach the hotel @ 10pm. Hotel just next to Bus Terminal. Very convenience..
