• lykzd (6/5): Unpleasant checking in experience but great location - Cons: Receptionist gave two wrong room keycards while we were checking in around 2am - 3am. It was so embarrassing and unsafe to us and to those presently occupying the rooms. Imagine someone is trying to open your doors while you were sleeping. Pros: Great location wise, multiple restaurants within the area, near to seafront.

We ate at their sister restaurant on the waterfront a few minutes walk away twice! Loved the fresh seafood! Frosted mugs provided with the purchase of a bottle of beer from their cooler!
• Lambe (6/5): A night in kusadasi - Loved location, the breakfast room was very good lots of choice and clean. The room not very big bathroom tiny shower even smaller, toilet stuck behind door. Bedroom lighting very poor. Foyer was like a museum was afraid to sit on furniture as very ornate decor over the top didn't feel you could make yourself comfortable incase you damaged anything. Staff lovely

Odanin yeri haliydi ve baya küf kokusu geliyodu. Yatak temizdi. Tuvalet banyoda daha temiz olabilirdi. Kahvalti fena sayilmazdi. Eger yolumuz bidaha kus adasina düserse malesef bidaha burda kalmayi düsünmeyiz.

• yasemin-samos-greece (8/5): Good and cheap choice. - The hotel is close to the centre of Kusadasi and in walkable distance from port ( Scala Nuova) and marina. The hotel is a bit old and needs a refurbishment. However rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was okay with many choices that changed every day. The view of the sea from the breakfast room was marvellous. If you want a good and cheap hotel during your stay at Kusadasi try this. You will not regret it.
• altillett (8/5): Good value / small room - A brilliant position, lovely service, but sadly a very small room. Otherwise a little bit rough around the edges, but good value in a great spot. I would stay there again, but I would ask for a bigger room. Keep up the good work guys and we will be back.

Kahvaltı salonu ve menü güzeldi. Balkonlar çok küçük ve karşı binaya baktığı için sadece sigara içmeye uygun. Personel güler yüzlü ve yardımsever. Otelin karşısı belediyenin yeşil alanı. Ancak yol girişinde büyük bir inşaat var, hem yolu daraltmış hem de gürültülü.

Staff moved us no problem to room 310 which was excellent i.e. more space 3 beds , Kettle and English T V channels. large balcony outside room with sun beds. Food really good. Staff work really hard to please. Only negative can be noisy in evenings as most rooms overlook bar. They have a seperate block at the back of Hotel which is new and quieter. Overall would stay again.

• Claudia (10/5): Lovely hotel, loved everything - We loved everything. - the room is at least 16 square metres, it is a mistake on Booking with the 6 m2. - balcony with two chairs and a table; - the rooms smell lovely and the cleaning lady made towels in heart, swan and boat shape for us ❤️; - very friendly staff, good English speakers; - great breakfast, served at last floor with amazing sea view and a terrace; - daily room cleaning, changing bedding and towels every day; - replenisment of coffee and tea supplies whenever consumed (5 times during an 8 days stay, in our case); - we loved the museum-like modelships and antique things at both Istanköy hotel, restaurant and patisserie. - very good value for money, bevarages at the hotel were cheaper than at supermarket, so we had no problem with forbidding food and drinks bought from outside; We definitely recommend Istanköy restaurant and Istanköy patisserie also (walking distance from the hotel). Delicious food and desserts at very reasonable prices. Absolutely nothing to dislike. Whoever complains about this hotel, should be at the worst entitlement level and has some serious frustrations to fix 😁

• Bawn20 (8/5): Dental holiday - Overall hotel is dated there is a museum to knick knacks in the lobby bit odd, the carpets in the room just serve a purpose but look so dirty. The beds are made fresh everyday, new towels and shampoos also. Staff are lovely and very helpful always smiling. My only gripe is the Internet is so horrible, rarely works I had to phone front desk a few times. When you are in your room in pain a good WiFi connection is paramount. In saying that because of the staff and such a central location I will stay again and I will recommend hotel to others, just please sort out the WiFi.
• nickybG2777HI (8/5): Lovely clean hotel. - Lovely clean hotel. We booked our holiday through easyjet holidays and I had read all the reviews! Please note this hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, I had read the reviews from 2016 when the hotel did have a pool..🤣 Anyway the staff are superb they cant do enough for you, we asked for extra pillows and straight away we got them. The beach which is a 5 minute stroll away is ok but the sunloungers dont have cushions this is also the case on ladies beach. We found Star beach the best, which was very clean, sunbeds had cushions and big pillows, you have the option of sand or grass. It's a 10 minute taxi ride away for 100TL or number 6 bus for 13TL. The food in the restaurant is lovely and reasonably priced. Ok back to hotel: nice big double bed, a little hard but comfy, tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Bathroom lovely, quite small, shower nice and strong with hot water all the time, towels were changed every day. Balcony extremely small but big enough to hang towels out, if you want to sit out as a couple and watch the wood go by this wouldn't be big enough! Breakfast is your usual turkish, plenty to choose from and omelettes on offer if wanted. Hotel is quite central but away from the noisy bars. Our room was on the 1st floor at the side, quite dark as the adjacent hotel is quite close. It's not noisy at all, you hear the occasional door slamming that's about it, not sure what it would be like in july/Aug as we're here now in june.TV has lots of english channels. Would we come here again? Yes for a short visit mainly because there isnt a pool, we prefer the beach but like the option! Thank you hotel istankoy!

• Danimal2007 (8/5): Nice Spot - Stayed here for a night while in Kusadasi. This place is located just behind the main waterfront. There are many places to eat and go shopping. A lot of nightlife is also nearby. The staff was friendly and nice. My room was nothing special but clean and comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t memorable but gets the job done. Overall, this place was good, and I would stay here again.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Budget Friendly Stay in a Central Location - Very central location. Wide and cozy rooms. Comfortable stay. It was not directly on main street which made the noise from the street bearable. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants to wander around Kusadasi, her beaches and attractions with a budget friendly stay, since the hotel is at a quite central place and not that expensive.

Tek kötü tarafı otelin otoparkı vardır ya da sınırlı olarak vardır seçeneği yanlıştır. Otelin önündeki yol çok dar ve anca 3-4 arabalık yol kenarı park mevcuttur. 100 metre ilerisinde ücretli otopark mevcuttur. Wi-Fi bağlantısı sürekli kopma yaşatıyor. Bağlanmaktansa kendi internetinizi kullanmaya başlıyorsunuz.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect location, good breakfast - I rented a room just for me and they gave me a small room but it had everything I needed. They cleaned the room everyday, including changing the towels which is pretty nice. I particularly loved the breakfast, They put different things everyday and you have options which is also appreciated. The location is the best you can get, it is in the street with the best restaurants of the area and at walking distance you can take the minibuses to go anywhere you want. Also the building is well preserved. I would recommend this hotel.

• fermarva84 (4/5): Could be better. - This dated hotel is what you would expect from a three stars hotel: clean and reasonably priced. The staff is really nice, the view from the restaurant is lovely, breakfast is pretty standard to what I experienced in other hotels in Turkey, the room is a very good size and, although it's not right in front of the ocean, the location is fantastic. The reasons why I think it's below average is because the bathroom was really dirty, I wanted to buy a brush and scrub the tiled walls myself; the sink was rusty; the shower was claustrophobic, and the toilet was in such a weird angle that it was so uncomfortable. The bed was a good size and clean but it was hard as a rock! (I suffer from back pain and always lean towards hard mattresses, but this was too much). They have complimentary tea and coffee but you have to pay for water (tap water is not drinkable), there are many shops nearby so make sure to stop by any of these and get plenty of water.
• Marianne (10/5): Fab Hotel - What a lovely welcome we got on arrival by Burcu who was on reception. The room was spotless and bed comfy. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Elgen (Ali) behind the bar went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable in the lounge. Such a friendly place to stay. Already planning a few days again soon.
• decbIreland (8/5): You can't go wrong for the price - This hotel is in a great location, 2 minutes from all the shops . It's a case of you get what you pay for, it's basic but for the money, you get somewhere to sleep and some food in the morning. I'd stay again to save money.
• JenB21 (10/5): Fabulous hotel - This beautiful hotel is simply the best , the staff go out of there way to help you. I have stayed here for years now and the staff are like family to me now . It great to see the staff so happy in their jobs . And what can I say the hotel is spotless and this is how close you are to everything. Its a short walk to centrum and ride on dolmus or taxi to ladies beach 🏖 which is about 10 minutes away for sunbathing. Thank you very much for looking after us 💙
• friarshill (10/5): Holiday - Just back from a few days in kusadasi, i stayed at this hotel ,i wasn't disappointed it was lovely ,front lobby area with bar is stunning beautiful little quaint parts ,the staff were very good and so helpful, i stayed in room 202 ,little small but okay for me been alone ,it was spotless clean even little complimentary slippers which i loved saves your barefeet ,tea ,coffee and water provided ,there was a mini bar also with a small fee if u needed something ,i only did breakfast 1 morning up on 5th floor so amazing views ,i would definitely stay here again as it is so central to everything, just a walking distance to shops ,restaurants and bars...thanks again everyone.

It was actually nicer than some of the more expensive rooms I stayed in with the tour I took. The people were very nice and helpful. As I was out very early the next morning I did not partake of the breakfast. This hotel was very convenient. It was like 140 meters from the main street. It was a lovely.

Odalarda rutubet ya da eski kirli halı kokusu gibi ağır bir koku var. Üstelik camı kapıyı açık bıraksanız da geçmiyor! Ben yorgundum uyudum ama arkadaşım uyuyamamış. Kahvaltısı iyi, yeterli.

Type of holiday was young and lively and didnt stay in hotel that much was out In day and night. Very central to the local shopping and restaurants and bars dont need a cab as is within walking distance. Rooms are very basic and there is a pool however would recommend to young and lively only or couples with no kids .

The room was nice enough, ll space and a plus with the balcony facing the sea, but the floor wasen’t clean properly. The parking space was small just enought fitting 3 cars. Room is very small so do bear that in mind when booking here. Breakfast very good with lots of variety. Nice little balcony and good functioning air conditioning. At check out receptionist was very friendly and he even made a cup of coffee as it was too early for breakfast. He called Hoppa as they were late. He was very kind.

• 60jan2014 (10/5): Holiday - This hotel is like my second home i love it. The staff are really good friends. Its very clean and bedding and towels changed regularly. I can't wait to use the new sun lounge area. Only just being finished when we were leaving.
• BRB (8/5): - It was close to the ferry terminal, and it has air conditioning, which was important because I was jet-lagged and needed a place to crash and sleep at odd hours. The location is in an alley behind a bigger hotel, which made it hard to find, and the room was tiny, but for the price, it was a good place to stay.
• elephantonaleaf (10/5): Great value, amazing location and away from all the noise - ===Location=== Walking distance to the water front, lady beach, shopping areas, restaurants, etc. ===Service=== I had minimal contact with the hotel staff because the tour itinerary left early in the morning and we came back pretty late. Check-in was pretty quick. The room was cleaned well. ===Breakfast=== not amazing but wasn't bad either. ===Compared to other hotels=== On the shared airport shuttle from the airport to the hotel, the first two couples were dropped off first at a boutique hotel. At first glance, it seemed like an awesome hotel. It was located right on the shore, facing out to the ocean and had cool exterior architecture but on the first floor they had a bar lounge blasting deep bass music at 10pm!!! I felt ear plugs wouldn't suffice. I was nervous to see what Hotel Istankoy would be like. It was located, in my opinion, in a more convenient neighborhood. It was one row behind the row of hotels closest to the shore. Although it had to be accessed through a somewhat dimly lit alleyway, it was much much much quieter than those hotels on the water front. I'm not a huge look-out-the-window-from-hotel-room type of a person and I much rather prefer having more walking distance destinations. Hotel Istankoy met all my needs.

• Anthony (8/5): Very comfortable Hotel - The hotel was very comfortable and the service was excellent. The road that the hotel was on initially put us off. Once we got into the building we forgot that. Breakfast was timed for 8.00pm to 10.00am. This meant that we could not have breakfast as we had to car ferry at 9.00am. However the manager allowed for us to have breakfast 7.15am. We we most impressed !
• 362pipa (2/5): Not as described - Very poor representation on all sites, no roof pool or sunbathing area for at least 3 years even though still advertised, decor falling apart, no bar area, rooms are clean but smaller than advertised,

• 60jan2014 (10/5): Holiday - I have stayed in this hotel many times. It may only be small but the staff take great care of you even down to the cleaners. When we arrived the welcome was second to none the staff are like family now. The breakfast is Turkish but good choice. The restaurant is now upstairs. The only thing I do miss having the pool. We received a lovely welcoming gift off the Management such a lovely thought.

• Don (8/5): - When we arrived we were greeted by a young man who helped us park in front of the hotel. The street is very narrow and the parking is in the street, hugging the hotel building. Then the same man checked us in. Later he served us beer in the lobby bar. He wore many hats but carrying our bags into the hotel was not one of them. We lugged our own luggage. In the room, the safe did not work. We called and he came up with a key to be inserted to make it work. There is a charge to use the room safe. That's a first for us. Reading the hotels information folder, we read that food or drink from outside hotel is not allowed. “The management have the right to collect them if necessary.” Out of hundreds of hotel stays in dozens of countries, that was a first also. There is a restaurant on the top floor that had a nice view of the shore and sea. It opens at 7 pm. We went up at 7:15 and could not find an employee. We did not try to eat there again. So much lost potential here. Our room was small but comfortable. When one of us was sitting at the desk, the other would have to crawl over the bed to get past. Wi-Fi was good. The shower was too small. At a slim, 6 feet tall, I had to open the shower stall door to have enough room to soap up. The light in the shower did not turn on, as did the lights over the bed. We didn't complain about that, so they probably could have been corrected. We liked the hotels location. It was near the shore in the heart of town.
• LorraineI473 (10/5): Great holiday & lovely hotel - Had a lovely stay at Hotel Istankoy, nice atmosphere, lots of choice for breakfast, near the beach & excellent location near to the centre of Kusadasi. Really enjoyed staying here would definitely stay again.
• expedia failed (8/5): Expedia not reliable should had booked through TA - Great Hotel pity they didn't honour your payment I had to pay on leaving as they said they couldn't access your $ I sent you a copy of my receipt earlier but no reply. Maybe I should booked through TripAdvisor as I know their reliable
