Guest Reviews
- Mayethe (8/5): Great location to stay. - Excellent communication from the host, close to the center of Ravello, the apartment is well equipped with good amenities and great views. Quite tiny
- Kathleen (9/5): Really enjoyed our stay! - Position in the town was great. View from the winxow over the valley spectacular. Nice and peaceful.
- Maria (9/5): -
- Juan (10/5): - todo, la anfitriona Alessandra muy atenta y preocupada, me indicaba y me aclaraba las dudas, excelente
- Charlotte (8/5): -
- Carol (10/5): Pinch me, I can’t believe I’m here! - We were a bit later than I had hoped, but contacted Carla and she met us a prearranged spot, walked with us to the apartment, told us all the information we needed for the place, town and travel around. Breakfast treats were left for us. It was such a lovely place! A first for us, the reservation worked well, we loved the little terrace and garden, too. The whole place has been nicely remodeled with a touch of old. Loved it! We liked everything. Yes, you have steps up and down, but that’s normal in Ravello. We were conveniently located between the site of the wedding we attended and the piazza.
- Tara (7/5): Great spot, good price and lovely view - In the centre of Ravello - such a good spot for the price. Lovely view from the window. Very nice owners, very helpful. Comfy bed. The kitchen cupboard has a very bad damp smell when you open it. I tried washing the utensils and it still smelt awful. It put me off using the kitchen during the stay - this damp problem needs fixed but it was the only issue during the stay.
- Jackie (10/5): Ravello - The lodging was very spacious and a great location in Ravello. Cost of transportation is costly when the bus doesn't run early enough.
- Bruce (10/5): - Carla was a very responsive host, helping us with different inquires and arrangements. Thanks Carla!
- Shani (10/5): - the apartment was fantastic. close to the center of Ravello and everything I needed.
Alessandra was there waiting with the keys and available to help with anything i needed, whether it was questions about the shower or the best way to get to Napoli the day I left. Absolutely would stay again.
- ashish (9/5): - We loved the property overall — right from the location, the view, the accessibility, the amenities, and the fully furnished kitchen. We also appreciated that our host Rosa had kept spaghetti for us to cook along with several other confectioneries as snacks. All in all, it was a fabulous stay, and we would love to come back again! There nothing much to complaint really . We got what we paid for and what was described on the listing. Ravello is 30 minutes away from Amalfi and can only be reached by SITA bus (or your own vehicle). SITA bus can get really crowded and wait time between two buses can be 1 hr so be prapared for that if you are staying in Ravello or anywhere else for that matter other then Amalfi
- Michael (10/5): A relaxing few days in one of the most beautiful places in Europe. - Lovely apartment, amazing views and very peaceful. A little walking uphill but it was worth it.
- Luca (10/5): -
- Alexandru Efimov (10/5): -

- Valerie (10/5): Perfect location for our trip. - Our host was on hand to pass over our keys and tell us about things in this location. The welcome pack was a very thoughtful addition.
The rooms were spacious and very well equipped. Access to a garden where we could sit outside was lovely.
The property was in an ideal location as we were attending a wedding at Villa Eva, which was just a few minutes walk away.
It was also easy to walk into the village where there were plenty of restaurants and shops.
Getting around Ravello does involve quite a lot of steps but that wasn't a problem.
- Leopoldo (9/5): - Conveniently located a few steps from Villa Eva which was the wedding venue we were going to. Nice views, everything felt really clean. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice, they helped me book a 3 am taxi to the airport and took care of all the communication. AC works great. The property has two separate apartments which you can book separately, which made it so easy with our group of 5 people. It’s a bit of a hike from where the taxi leaves you to the front door it’s uphill and a few stairs. Not the best when you’re carrying a big suitcase like we were and when it’s a hot and sunny summer day. Shower was very small but not a dealbreaker.
- Leonie (9/5): -
- Theo (9/5): Comfortable clean and best view - Great spot, clean, comfy, best view. Rosaria was the best host!!! So minor but could’ve been a chopping knife to prep food in the kitchen
- Anita (8/5): The beauty of Ravello and the friendly welcome of Rosaria made up for the minor inconveniences we came across. - The location and the little terrace where we can sit out. Rosario was also very friendly and helpful and gave us suggestions of restaurants and how to get tickets for concerts. The sheets and towels were fresh and clean and the kitchen was well equipped if one desires to cook. The property is a bit rundown and the entrance unkempt as grass was overgrown and old buckets and pots left to lie around on the side of the pathway. The headboard of the bed in the bigger apartment was not attached well to the wall so every time you move it makes a terrible noise. The glass door to the shower too makes an awful noise when pushed back and forth. I think these are minor maintenance problems that can be taken care off. Otherwise the place is good for a family of 6.
- Leigh (8/5): Small apartment with great view in quiet area with great bed - In a quiet area with great views across the valley to Scala Tiny with very little space for 2 travel bags to stand alone without having to climb over them.
- Michelle (7/5): Good - Views and quiet Stairs getting to it but got used to them. There was a sewage smell intermittently from the toilet
- Bäsmä (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (8/5): Ideal place to stay for a wedding at Villa Eva. - Location adjacent Villa Eva, where we were attending a family wedding.
- Ciara (9/5): Superb -
- Cristian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Super easy - I was in contact via Whatsapp with the owner of the property.
- Mantas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simona (10/5): Great place to stay in Ravello. Highly recommended! -
- Mina (9/5): Superb - The location was great with a relaxing view from the window. The space was clean, i loved the pillows, they have some memory foam or at least that was my impression. The fact that I went in october and I am a cold person and at night I wished for another blanket.
- Andrew (3/5): Would not stay again hard to sleep as so uncomfortable. Left after 2 days and moved into a hotel - Nothing Bed was so uncomfortable. Very basic and damp. Appalling outside space
Only windows at the back so most of the time you felt you were in a cave.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great! Shower is small.
- Zeynep (6/5): Pleasant - Location, bright, Wifi coverage very very poor, shower water drain not good
- Susan (7/5): Although our suite was not very clean, equipped and pleasant but the host was so nice - Our host was so nice and helpful and the view of our room was amazing lack of facilities; Stow was not working and our suite was not that clean
- Rachel (10/5): Great value for money - The staff were ever so accommodating and helpful. The property itself was clean, and in a good location if you like views The bed and pillows were a little firm for me, and it was tricky to manoeuvre having the full length mirror in the wardrobe as you couldn’t move around the bed with it open.
- Leanne (10/5): Amazingly helpful staff and clean and fresh apartment. - Great location and great hosts. Nothing
- Brandon (10/5): Exceptional - The view and proximity to town center!
- Ross (8/5): All in all a great place to stay , the negatives were not a big issue for me - Location was close to the heart of Ravello The gate key was a little difficult to operate ; the stove was not working for me and the wi-fi was poor
- Graham (10/5): Fab stay - We were in Ravello for a wedding at Villa Eva which was 2 min walk from the apartment. It was lovely and clean with two good size bathrooms, which was perfect as there was 3 of us. Nice private garden. Al in all couldn't fault the property. Other than the steps and the hill up from the square there was nothing to dislike.
- Anonymous (6/5): Ravello is a beautiful city it’s views are breath taking. Casa do Carla does not offer any views or amenities - The apartment was clean but the view was not as expected as there was no view just a wall and bushes no view of the city The property was not as expected , no view no sites
- Madeleine (9/5): Good facilities, as expected - Nice apartment with good kitchen facilities Nothing
- Valentine (10/5): Amazing location, super friendly staff - View from the bedroom was amazing. The host came and met us a few minutes from the property to take us there. She was lovely and helped settle us in. The room comes with a few snacks and drinks which was a bonus!
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (10/5): It was a beautiful apartment with a private garden and outdoor shower. We very much so enjoyed stay. - The apartment was large, clean, and had a beautiful private garden
- Shaun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eurica (10/5): Exceptional - The unit was large and very spacious. Very clean. The patio, balcony and 2 bathrooms were fantastic. Great communication with the property owners. We were unable to get the spa shower to work but we don’t bother to follow up to get help. We managed with the one shower. I’m sure if we asked she would have come and shown us.
- Jessica (9/5): Lovely little stay - Good size room and bathroom. Easy check in. Good recommendations received before we arrived.
Would stay again Unfortunately the bathroom smelt damp, but was otherwise very clean.
Also, just useful for people to know- you cannot drive into Ravello, and the place is a 5-10 min walk including a small hill. But was very easy for getting around the town once there.
- Thomas (5/5): Average - The location was very good as close to a wedding I was going to There was no Wi-Fi and the cupboards smelled of mould. I was greeted by Sophia after my flight and after struggling to find the property I was told to pay the tourist tax and was recommended no where to eat. Was not a good night stay.
- Patricia (5/5): Comfortable, the host was accommodating when requesting help. - The location. Also the host allowed us to check in early which was great. The host supplied us with some jams and toast and other sweet foods. It was nice and quiet. Unfortunately the shower did not work properly until we notified the host. Only a few nozzles were working on the shower, and it also flooded the bathroom.
We had to ask for tea towels, and had to request clean towels after a few days.
- Miles (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional - Great location! Very central in Ravello. Clean and comfortable. Room wasn't huge but it was great for a few nights. Staff were friendly and responsive, would recommend. Only one key which was difficult if we went out separately as there is also a gate you need to get through. We couldn't work out how to buzz the other person through the gate to let them in
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Jeff (10/5): Faultless Stay in Ravello - Sofia was amazing, the place is fantastic, has everything you would need. Thank you so much. Good Value for money too
- Higgins (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (10/5): Amazing - Ravello was closed to all of Amalfi villages, it was full of restaurants and cute shops.
Sofia was so kind by sharing transportation tips and giving us advice on Amalfi coast
- Gimpy (10/5): superb - The best thing about this apartment was Sofia, who we dealt with. Always responded immediately to our queries. But especially helped us hire a last minute taxi transfer to the airport. The owner have a gem working for them.
- Maximilian (4/5): Not to be recommended - It was a very nice location with a beautiful view over the mountains. It was really quiet which we appreciated. The room had a well equipped kitchenette. Unfortunately the price was way too high for what you get. The beds were not very comfortable with no proper blanket, and the beds were sliding away from the wall every time we sat up. The cleaning utensils like brooms, buckets etc. were all left in the bathroom so it seemed more like a cleaning storage than a bathroom. The shower curtains were old and dirty and there was no place to put your toiletries, we had to put them on the floor. Overall the room was in a poor and cheap condition and the air in the room felt somehow moist. We are usually not very picky travellers but we didn't feel very comfortable staying there. For almost 400 euros for 3 nights you definitely can expect more than that. Give it some love
- Mojgan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Vardanush (8/5): Very good -
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nesha (9/5): A lovely room in ravello with great views - Amazing service. The room was spacious and had lovely mountain views.
good location
Kitchen. Wee were not expecting a kitchen which was great nothing at all
- Vianna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gamboa (8/5): Amazing Breaze, Amazing Bedroom view, great town! - We liked everything, but we mainly booked it for the view.
Little Tip, rearrange the room, so the bed faces the view :)
A note about the location, an elavated location, great views, but it lacked a savory breakfast spots, for those who wanted something else then cakes.
For dinner, amazing restaurants! Bus services to the beach, very slow, and often with delays.
We were able to avoid this, using the side stairs (Google Maps)
- Derya (8/5): A nice little apartment in a great location - Casa di Carla is situated in a great spot, in a quiet corner, but only 5 mins away from the center. The staff is alwys there to help you with your needs and to solve problems. Nothing. It just can be a bit small for 2. Since I was on my own, it was perfect for me.
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lois (10/5): Amazing experience - This apartment was so lovely, it was massive for the 2 of us and so clean and well equipped. I
couldn’t believe that we had a balcony with a lovely view and a private garden with sun loungers and a table and chairs. The outdoor shower had a lovely view. we had two bathrooms and a large bath. The host was really helpful, we would definitely stay again. nothing
- Sonia (7/5): Good - no food milk in fridge cans juice fruit
- Helena-michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (8/5): Clean apartment near Villa Cimbrone - The apartment was clean, and fairly well-supplied with basic foodstuffs and other necessaries. It also benefited from powerful air conditioning, which was important during the week we were in Ravello, as it was extremely hot. It's not very spacious, but if you're going to be out and about all day this is a good place to crash at night. The staff were helpful and flexible in terms of meeting to hand over the keys, and the like. Happy to recommend.
- Janis (8/5): Good Location & Value for Money - Positives:
- Excellent location
- Good value for money (for Amalfi Coast)
- Kind staff
- Rooms in a good condition
Suggestions for improvements/Negatives:
- Room is a bit small
- The room we staid in did not have outside space, this could be rectified by the management by adding a small table in the front of the house and converting the potato garden to a usable space for guests:)
