• Kimberly (7/5): - Overall clean and comfortable For the price paid, the room was not up to standard. Ceiling paint was seen peeling off and the window was faulty so it could not be shut tight.

• Belinda (10/5): - Spacious room with very comfy bed and quality amenities. No self service laundry, only a garment service which is expected of these fancier places. A handful of restaurants and a mall nearby but still a quiet part of town. Well serviced by taxis to the airport (around 20 minutes drive).

• Calum (10/5): Nice, don't trust Google maps. - Very nice room, good service, but best of luck to you if you're using Google maps. Ignore the location on Google maps completely. It is actually located just south of "Longquan mountain villa" on Google maps, opposite "Guilin round city water system spot". Try apple maps instead. Anyways, great place definitely recommend

• Torsten (10/5): Lingui/ Guilin - Liegt etwas außerhalb von Guilin aber in einer schönen Lage. Gleich nebenan ist ein großer Park mit See wo man joggen oder spazieren gehen kann. Neben dem Hotel sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf und eine große Restaurantstraße mit vielen leckeren Sachen, sowie Friseure und Massagen.

• Oliver (9/5): A very nice, modern hotel with great facilities. - It’s in great shape, the room was very big and had amazing views. It’s not very close to the city but good if you need to get to the airport . The pool was nice and cold. The craft beer bar advertised everywhere was nowhere to be found.

There is a nice park near the hotel and a mall where you can grab some McDonald's. Unfortunately there are English issues which can be solved with a good translation app

Staff were somewhat unwilling or reluctant to find solutions to the problems. The hotel is a bit out of the way from central Guilin; in some ways the staff were unacommodating

However the breakfast is a big let down as more often than not the buffet breakfast foods were cold, drinks offered poor quality for Five star hotel. The door man dies not greet guest let alone assist with any baggage, so finally we would not return to this hotel.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel on airport side of city - Four Points Sheraton is a modern, well-appointed hotel . I chose it because I was just spending the one night before flying out in the early morning and was not interested in visiting the tourist sites in the city. The room was large, modern, and clean with a great bathtub. The gym and pool are quite nice. There is a shopping mall and many Chinese restaurants in the area.I used room service which was quick and good. The staff was very helpful and language was not an issue.

• Natalie (10/5): Convenient for hotel, nice clean room - We only stayed here for one night as it was fairly close to the airport under half an hour. We were upgraded on arrival to a suite, our room was very big with a seperate lounge, clean and had a nice nug bathroom.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel room and facilities were excellent - Location was the only problem since it was far away from Downtown, other than that all was perfect including the breakfast buffet.
• Mark (8/5): Good hotel close to Guilin Airport - It's a good, modern and clean hotel with comfortable rooms, close to Guilin Airport, on the way to Yangshuo. My plane landed past midnight to Guilin and my guide for Yangshuo area recommended that I stay here for the first night rather than drive a further 75 munutes to stay in Yangshuo. I think it was a good advice if you dont mind a pack/unpack cycle.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable bed. Far from tourist central. - Excellent new facilities with comfortable bed like you would see in a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately the great price we got on Expedia did not include the fancy breakfast buffet with big selection. They told us it would be 80 RMB (US$12) to add breakfast if you add it at the check in desk, but if you pay at the breakfast buffet it is $138 RMB (US$21). There are not really any other breakfast options at 7:00 am because the mall next door is closed at that time, and there is nothing else within walking distance. So pay the overpriced breakfast or eat moon pies from the gift shop. I never realized how sprawling big Guilin is now. It can take over an hour to drive from one side of the city to the other, and this hotel is far from the traditional tourist area with the pagodas on the lake where the shopping spots and major restaurants are. Personally I think it was worth it because most of the downtown hotels look like cockroach/bedbug city from the outside anyway.
• Mark (10/5): Great Hotel - I enjoyed the week I spend at this location while seeing the tourist sites in Guilin. Opened last year still has that new feeling as it approaches it's first anniversary. The staff was more than helpful with suggestions for off the beaten path sites. The hotel is 20 minutes from downtown and there are not many cabs around. The staff will have one waiting for you if you call down 15 minutes before you leave with the address written in Chinese if needed. The concierge staff will give the direct number to the desk if needed while traveling around town to translate for you. Not many Americans stay here but the staff will go out of their way to make you feel at home.
