We stayed in deluxe super(?) single rooms including the bath tub, which was excellent. Their breakfast is pretty good and they provided a fresh juice. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and nice. He dropped us in a couple of tour places by his car. I am happy to stay there again if I have a chance to go to Gwangju

Very fuss free hotel with just enough amenities. Only thing was shower cap was not provided and the safe could not be opened. Overall cleanliness was not the best. Window blinds were very dusty.

• SUNG HWAN (4/5): 어린자녀들과 함께하는 가족 숙소로는 글쎄.. - 103B 파티룸(vip룸) 2박 예약했습니다. 아이들 둘 포함 4인이 한방에 숙박 할 수 있는 방이 흔치 않아서 결정했는데, 유흥가의 최고 중심부 모텔촌에 위치하고 있어 가족이 숙박하기에 썩 좋은 위치는 아닙니다. 주차장은 크지는 않지만 깨끗하고 크게 불편한 점은 없습니다. 지하에 위치한 방이며 환기를 공조기 하나에만 의지하고 있는데 만족할만큼 환기가 안됩니다. 자고났는데 목도 아프고 가래도 끼고.. 게다가 공조기 구조물에서는 밤새 땅땅..하는 쇠 때리는 소리가 나서 잠을 이루기 힘듭니다. 벽체는 소음방지가 전혀안돼고 모든 소리가 다 울려서 이게 자는 방인지 유흥업소의 룸인지 구분이 안갑니다. 욕실의 도기와 수전은 최고급 제품으로 깔끔하게 시공이 돼 있습니다. 방 안에 커다란 욕조도 아닌 탕이 있는데 여름에만 사전에 미리 요청한 경우에만 사용할 수 있다고 합니다. 욕조가 당연히 있는 것으로 알고 입욕제도 준비해 갔었는데 아쉬웠습니다. 조식은 구성은 단촐하지만 집밥처럼 정성이 가득 들어있어 있는 맛이었으며 불필요한 구성없이 오히려 맘에 들었습니다. 브루 커피가 구수한게 맛이 좋았네요. 결국은 손해를 감수하고 하루만 자고 다른 호텔을 급히 공수해서 일정을 마무리 했습니다. 도저히 그 곳에서 하루 더 잘 엄두가 안나더군요.
• Verified traveler (6/5): 담배냄새, 에어컨 곰팡이, 환기 불량. - 203호실에 묵었는데요, 매트리스나 베개에 담배 냄새가 베어 있고, 에어컨도 곰팡이가 많이 쓸어서 그런지 이틀 자고 돌아와서 목이 너무 아팠고, 가래도 많이 생겼습니다. 203호실만 그런지 모르겠지만 옆 숙박업소와 딱 달라 붙어있어서 환기도 전혀 안 되었구요. 여름에는 비추인 듯 합니다.
• Verified traveler (10/5): オススメです！！ - 地下鉄の駅（雲泉駅）からは少し歩きますが、立地はいいと思います。 ホテル自体が新しいので清潔感もあり、部屋は広めで静かでした。 テレビが大きくて映りが良く、チャンネルもたくさんあって良かったです。 部屋にも洗面台があるので便利でした。 近くにはロッテマート、イーマート、少し歩けば繁華街もあって楽しめるし、5.18記念公園も徒歩圏内なのでゆっくり散策もできました。 ただフロントのお兄さんがチェックイン時に口数が少なくてなんだか頼りなく、その後もフロント前を通るたびにいつも電話をしていてあまり感じが良くなかったのが残念でした。

• YenLC (8/5): Nice Hotel close to subway and easy access to plc - Ok for the price paid with breakfast. 5 ~ 10mins walk to Uncheon subway station (turn left from hotel entrance, turn right go straight and cross over (left) at junction walk straight to Uncheon Station Exit 3. Hotel staff have no knowledge on how to move around Gwangju by bus/subway. Take bus number 160 opposite Uncheon station exit 3 to Gwangju Station (where you take bus 311 to Damyang Juknokwon) this bus also go to U-square. This hotel within Motel district you will find some man standing around at night smoking, stared at you as you walk back to the hotel.

• Verified traveler (8/5): 상무지구에 근접해 있는 비즈니스 호텔 - 상무지구 내 몇 안되는 비즈니스 호텔이지만, 사실상 모텔을 개조한 것으로 보임. 창문 환기가 어려운 것이 단점.
• Verified traveler (8/5): 저렴하고 깔끔한 숙박 - 조용하고 좋습니다. 허나 창문이 열려서 환기를 할 수 있기에 좋기도 하지만, 아래층에서 올라오는 담배연기가 유입되어 창문을 닫았다가 열었다가 눈치를 봐야 했습니다. 그 외, 침구 상태 좋고, 화장실에서 냄새 안나고 청결한 편이고 허나, 냉장고는 약했습니다. 냉장고는 가장 저렴한 모델이어서 그렇게 시원하지는 않았네요.

• siu bing bonnie (2/5): No hot water in mid Autumn weather - The hot water system is not working properly firing my second day stay. We complained to the Duty Manager but was asked to wait for more than 2 hrs but only lukewarm water was supplied. Eventually, we left with no hot showers & very terrible impression of the hotel. Additionally, the English capability of the Front Office staff needs lots of room for improvement. Their ability to understand basic English questions is poor. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends nor will stay with them in future.

The only negative aspect was that the window of our room was only about three metres away from the neighbour building. Thus our room was pretty dark without artificial light and the view was not very lovely.

• Kasia (8/5): Great stay at this New Business Hotel - This is a new, non-smoking hotel in the busy area of Sicheong-ro, Seo-gu, Gwangju. I stayed there May 21st-23rd, 2015. I booked the hotel through expedia, as I got a great rate. My stay at Hotel France was actually great. I loved that it was new, as everything was crisp from the towels to the hallway, to the bathroom, bedsheet, etc. The hotel lies in a good area - as it is not too far from USquare terminal, and the KTX train station I came from. I had the address written down in Korean, which I gave to the taxi driver. At first he didn't know the hotel (as it is new, and not a big hotel) but after entering the details into his GPS, he quickly found the hotel. The hotel which is a business hotel (not a motel or a standard big size hotel) is surrounded by tons of Korean restaurants, convenience stores and yes, motels. However, being in the motel area, did not bother me at all. It is on a small street, but about 3 minutes walking distance from the main street; thus in a convenient area. There is an elevator in the building, and the hotel is well lit inside. The bathroom was huge, with two double sinks, a rain shower and a separate toilet. It was extremely clean! The only thing I didn't like is that the bathroom floor would get wet after taking a shower as the water drain was under the sink. However, this is the Korean style bathroom in that the floor is tiled and you wear bathroom slippers when entering the bathroom.The bed was so fluffy and comfortable, and the room itself had
