Real style and ambience and a 20min uber from the airport and right next to the railway station to get into Bilbao or along the coast to San Sebastián as we did Only that the price was inflated due to the rugby cup that was taking place

• Christoph (10/5): Das Haus liegt ruhig aber trotzdem nah am Ortszentrum. Der persönliche Service hat uns gut gefallen, Bilbao ist nur 10 A - Das Haus ist sehr einladend und aufgeräumt. Die Holzfussböden und -decken schaffen eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Die Bäder sind frisch renoviert und modern gestaltet. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und beim Frühstück persönlich und sehr köstlich versorgt.

• Jordi (10/5): Una experiencia que salvó nuestras vacaciones - Llegamos a este hotel después de una experiencia terrible en una casa en la que nos habíamos alojado inicialmente, y no podemos estar más agradecidos de haber dado con este lugar. Desde el primer momento, María y Joseba nos recibieron con una calidez y empatía que nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Se nota que aman lo que hacen y se preocupan de verdad por el bienestar de sus huéspedes. Todo el personal fue igualmente amable y atento, siempre con una sonrisa y dispuestos a ayudar en lo que hiciera falta. Además, el restaurante del hotel fue una sorpresa increíble: ¡todo lo que probamos estaba de vicio! Buena cocina, ambiente acogedor y un trato excelente. Recomendamos este hotel sin dudarlo. No solo por la calidad de sus instalaciones, sino sobre todo por la calidad humana de quienes lo gestionan. ¡Gracias por hacernos sentir tan bien!

• Susan (9/5): Highly enjoyable and we really appreciated the attention to detail throughout. - Breakfast was delightful! Everything was served on fine matching china and the food itself was delicious ---- boiled eggs. ham/cheese with toasted bread and homemade cakes typical of the area. The coffee and orange juice were also tasty. The hotel was furnished with interesting antique furniture and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff we met were friendly and helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the night we stayed but we hope to return and try it then. It comes highly recommended

• Enrique (5/5): Hotel y restaurante son lo mismo. Suelos y techos de madera por lo que se oye todo. - La habitación es grande con camas cómodas. Alejado del centro del pueblo. Cerca de la estación para ir a Bilbao. Es un restaurante con habitaciones. Hotel y restaurante es lo mismo. Las habitaciones huelen a lo que se esta cocinando en el restaurante. Lo peor es que suelo y techo son de madera, por lo que se oyen todas las pisadas de los huespedes. No digamos si en la habitación de arriba había huespedes taconeando en el suelo, como fue en nuestro caso. No descansamos nada. Se oye todo y es muy molesto.
• D H Longbottom (8/5): A small very old property that has been turned into a spotlessly clean restaurant with rooms - Very pleasant lady who welcomed us in late at night and served us breakfast. The tiny washbasin in the small en-suite shower room.
• Lynette (8/5): Lovely people and fantastic breakfast - Such friendly staff and the breakfast was excellent - none of your processed-food buffet. Freshly made toast, soft-boiled egg, unlimited coffee & home-made cake. Very close to the motorway so convenient for a quick overnight stop. Unfortunately we found it quite noisy. It’s a wonderful old building but with really high ceilings, wooden floors and a central wood staircase, we could hear everyone’s comings & goings. It’s also on quite a busy main road and opposite the train station, so we were aware of trains running through the night. Unfortunately the restaurant also wasn’t open the night we were there & we were looking forward to trying the food which is supposed to be really good.

• Greg (9/5): Historic charm and friendly people. - The hotel had a lot of character and the people running it were great, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It is across from the train station so it is very easy to get into town and leave the car at the hotel. It also has a great, but expensive, restaurant for dinner.The breakfast was done by the hostess and was very good. Definitely worth doing. The soundproofing could use some work. Maybe better windows. The noise inside was ok and expected for a character type building but the train noise went all night.

• Ortrud (7/5): Fr einen kürzeren Aufenthalt geeignet - Das Zimmer war äußerst sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir bekamen nützliche Hinweise. Der Bahnhof lag in unmittelbarer Nähe, so dass man problemlos in die Altstadt von Bilbao und zum Guggenheim Museum fahren konnte. Das Bett war etwas durchgelegen. Auch war das Haus sehr hellhörig. Leider fanden während unseres Aufenthalts Bauarbeiten an der Straße statt, die teilweise Lärm am Morgen verursachten!

Ein wundervoller Start in den Tag, bei einem Schwätzchen mit Alicia, die uns mit wertvollen Informationen versorgt hat. Das Restaurant lässt keine Wünsche offen, nicht zu vergessen das umfangreiche Weinangebot. Alle Vorzüge überwiegen natürlich!!! Der Urlaubstag beginnt aufgrund der Bahnnähe und der angrenzenden Straße eher sehr früh.

• David (10/5): Great place to stay, service exceptional - Staff were incredibly friendly and food and service was exceptional. Great to have parking included and location to train station perfect to get into Bilboa - 14 mins on train. Nothing, great place to stay and staff made it for us. Room was a little warm due to high temperatures when we visited, room did have a fan but would have been even better with air con.

Por poner un pero, la habitación daba hacia unas vías de tren cercanas y a partir de las 7 de la mañana, empezaba el tráfico ferroviario a ser importante con lo que conlleva de ruido.

La chambre spacieuse et confortable, Le petit déjeuner servit avec raffinement, complet (les gâteaux maison) Le parking est compris et sans soucis. Dans l’établissement rien en soi, certains pourraient être gênés par le passage des trains non loin mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de dormir.

• Marie_E (8/5): - Tolles, altes Haus mit Geschichte und Charme. Sehr nettes Personal und gutes Frühstück (stilvoll am Tisch serviert - das hat man ja nur noch selten). Ganz nah zu Fuß zur Bahnstation, von der aus man in 20 Minuten im Zentrum von Bilbao ist (für ca. 2,50/Person). Kostenfreier Parkplatz inklusive. Obwohl unser Zimmer (G) nach hinten raus ging, hörte man sogar bei geschlossenem Fenster noch die Straße. Und das Haus selbst ist leider auch sehr hellhörig.

• Gonzalo (8/5): - El personal y el restaurante de 10, gente muy amable que te ayuda en todo lo que puede, además está al lado del metro que te deja en Bilbao en 15 minutos. El pueblo en el que está no tiene sitios que visitar o pasar el tiempo y para cenar sólo está el restaurante del hotel que abre de jueves a domingo, además los mosquitos, no podíamos dejar abierta la ventana de la habitación.

• Sophie (8/5): - Petit-déjeuner servi à table. Complet, qualitatif et très bon mais nous étions là 3 jours et nous avons eu exactement le même petit-déjeuner les trois jours, un peu dommage. Pas de problème de parking, possibilité de se garer sur le parking de l’hôtel gratuitement. Gare à 2min à pied pour aller jusqu’au centre de Bilbao en train en seulement 15min mais impossibilité pour nous de reprendre ce train au retour après 22h lors de notre séjour. Personnel très agréable mais peu présent sauf au restaurant. Lors de notre séjour, il faisait très chaud, dommage qu’il n’y avait pas la clim. De plus, la fenêtre de la chambre était très petite.

• Morag (8/5): Very convenient, friendly , interesting little hotel. - Room cool and comfortable with a very adequate en-suite, excellent shower. Excellent breakfast. The staff were friendly and approachable with excellent English. If we had had time to go into Bilbao, the train was only a short walk from the hotel. It would have been good to know the restaurant was not serving dinner. The options for eating in the town on a Sunday night were very limited.

В отеле сервируют завтрак за дополнительную плату с 8:30 до 10:30. Персонал говорит по английски.Отель представляет собой красивый, атмосферный деревенский дом, номеров не много, внизу ресторан, терасса и шатёр для проведения мероприятий. Бильбао доступен на автобусе и поезде, очень удобно, быстро и по стоимости 2,10е. Персонал отзывчив, причастен к проблемам гостя, очень бережное отношение с уважением и желанием решить все проблемы! Душевая комната бальшая, косметика фирмы Rituals,аромат чудо!Полотенец много, пастель очень шировая и комфортная. Если вы на автомобиле в Бильбао, то этот отель лучшее решение, парковка без хлопот, доступность к самому красивому району города на поезде -подарок! Вернёмся семьёй не раз, такие жемчужины надо ещё разыскивать! Что не успели позавтракать,спешили, но сервировку я видела-хочу вернуттся и по королевски отведать завтрак этого отеля!
